My husband and I went car shopping and had the pleasure of working with Kamal Benhoummad! Kamal listened to our needs and wants and patiently found several vehicles for us to look at and then test drive. No pressure to do anything, which was huge for us! Kamal was knowledgeable and considerate of what we wanted, needed, and willing to spend. What a true professional. Car salesmen are not known for any of this in general, but Kamal is that exception! If you want a stress free, knowledgeable salesman then Kamal at BMW of Sterling is your go to guy!

Worst service department! Unfortunately, describi...

Worst service department! Unfortunately, describing the problem to the service person who then is supposed to convey this information to the actual technician is a bad system! We brought the car in for service and two of the major items were not completed.

We called the service person three times and left messages because he was 'unavailable' at the time we called. He did not return our call. We then called the service manager, who was also unavailable, and left a message to return our call. The manager did not call back.

Called again this morning and it was not a surprise that all managers were in a meeting!

I would not use this unreliable service department, ever! Go somewhere else it will be less expensive and more accurately completed.

Worst service center to ever set foot in. They ll make you regret ever buying a bmw in the first place. Every time I have gone there (~5+), the service technicians are always demeaning and rude. Are they not trained in customer service? I also tried out the service center in fairfax and they are also cut from the same cloth. Rude and demeaning all around.

I have also written many bad reviews for each of my terrible experiences and bmw has done nothing with it. They should change the sign on the wall from Excellent Service to Welcome to Hell . It would be more accurate.

Entering a bmw service center is like entering a circle of hell. Worst humans ever. I can t wait to sell my bmw and never have to deal with these people again.

Totally unacceptable was the service I received at BMW of Sterling. I felt like I went to a hole in the wall mechanic who rips people off. First they performed an unauthorized brake fluid change that I did not request and charged me $149 for it. Car was not even due for a brake fluid change yet. When brought to their attention, they said they would send me a refund. It's been almost two months and nothing. When I emailed and called and left messages, no response.

Second, they claimed to find and resolve the issue of my check engine light but when i got a mile down the street the light came back on. When I returned to have it corrected, the light came back on soon after I left the dealership. When I eventually found the time in my busy schedule to take my car to an independent mechanic, they found a small hole in the crankcase vent valve.

I have higher expectations from a BMW dealership who prides themselves on excellence and professionalism.

He provided me with feedback and is going so far as bringing my other vehicle home to me. I was too impatient to wait for a ride to take me to pick my new car up and had to leave my old one at the dealership. He has definitely gone above and beyond and I would recommend him to everyone!

Kamal came to our rescue as we were leaving out of town for our daughter's wedding. Kamal stayed at the dealership until our problem was solved - I can never thank him enough for all that he did to make sure our trip was problem free. Brought my 2013 135is in for the Spring Service Clinic and to have a computer service code checked out. Marco was my service representative and was very attentive and professional. He made sure I was settled into the Service Lounge and kept me abreast of status of my car. Within an hour he informed me that the battery (original) was not holding a full charge and was the cause of computer codes. Also, I reported an occasional drip of oil under the car which was determined to be the oil filler cap. Within two hours of arriving Marco had me on my way all issues resolved and also in a freshly washed & vacuumed car! Couldn t have been happier to have all issues resolved and give Marco high fives for his help and support!

The experience I had when shopping for my new vehicle was excellent. The sales person (Angela Collins) was very knowledgeable and very helpful. However, things deteriorated rapidly from there. While taking delivery of my new vehicle, they tried to change the interest rate, and insisted that they had discussed this with me (they had not) and tried to claim that the previously agreed-upon rate did not apply to my vehicle. I literally had to show them - on their own website - that the agreed-upon rate was actually the rate shown online. After resolving this, and signing all the paperwork, I literally waited in the waiting room for 3 HOURS before their one and only "BMW Genius" was able to meet with me and walk me through my new car's various options and features - or so I thought. All I got was a 20 minute tutorial on how to connect my phone to the vehicle, and a quick run-through of how to use the phone interface. No explanation or demonstration on how to use the Parking Assist feature, or the safety features, or the many other options that would actually be good to know before driving off the lot. And finally, I have now owned my new vehicle for 6 weeks, and this dealership has still not paid off the loan on my trade-in. I am now receiving late notices from my previous lender, since I did not make the payment that was due a full 4 weeks after I handed over the keys to my trade-in. I think I have said enough. You get the picture

I leased my X3 in November from Kamal (who is the very best person I have ever talked to in purchasing a car) and have been back to the center for a couple of services. I had Eric Brown as my advisor the first time and I have gone back to him every single time I have any work done. He is super professional and very understanding of concerning situations. He also is very transparent of issues that may arise and is always very straight forward and I love that. I will continue going to him for any service on my car. He had Fantastic customer service and professionalism. Highly recommend!

1) Never ever expect their phones to work or someone to answer your phone. You can expect may be a 1 in 1000 times to someone answer your calls. They have 20-40 people just for sales but not enough people to answer the calls in service department or the shuttle service or any other department other than the sales(because they want your fat wallets).

2) Never ever go with a shuttle service because they can be prompt while dropping you off but, you will be left alone and even forgotten to be picked up even after giving a 100 calls. Of course only 2 or 3 out of those 100 calls will be answered by the so called super busy department.

3) Never ever plan to get any issue resolved with these guys as they will just say they cannot duplicate the issue.

You will be so frustrated trying to get at least the operator over the phone that, you will feel its better to start walking and get there in person rather than wait for them to respond to you calls.

Very positive experience. My service advisor, Sean Spicher, was great! He went above and beyond to help diagnose an issue with my vehicle, to research my maintenance history to identify possible recalls and parts still under warranty, and to keep me posted about the status and expected completion time for the repair throughout the process. I was very impressed! I will return and trust BMW of Sterling with my car and my business again in the future.

Okay...60 day update. Warning x-drive does not work in winter weather if your car has summer tires. Check this before you buy. Finance lost our paper work which caused an issue w BMW Finance. Trying to get finance to call you back was challenging. The dealership s complimentary Saturday car wash is only available sometimes. On 3-13-21 their car wash machine was broken. It had issues two week prior to that as well.

I have owned many BMWs, why do I keep coming back?? Costumer service! My experience today was second to none, Mr. Arnold Dumont attended all my needs and then some. He was very patience and happy to help me get what I wanted. He did not pushed a car on me, he actually took his time to make sure my needs were met and that I was satisfied with my purchase. I bought a used 2015 car back in April 2018 with 3...

I bought a used 2015 car back in April 2018 with 30,500+ miles on it. Before purchasing, I was told that all scheduled maintenance were done on the car. Given that it is a BMW dealership and that the previous owner is an associate, I trusted. I scheduled an oil change roughly 2 weeks ago and was informed that the spark plugs ($900!) needed to be replaced. I was also informed that it needed to be replaced every 15k miles and it was done when the vehicle had 14k miles on it. Assuming that this is correct and based on what my sales person told me, the spark plugs should have been replaced at 30k miles before the vehicle was up for sale. I reasoned this with the service advisor and said he will reach out to their General Manager to see what they can do for me. A few days later, he left me a message stating that the reason why the spark plugs were not replaced was because the service was not due when they scanned my keys and that it was not due until September of 2018. I told him that I absolutely cannot comprehend that reasoning given that in our previous conversation, the spark plugs were to be replaced based on the mileage on the car and not the age of the car. We have been going back and forth for the past few days and OF COURSE they are sticking to their reasoning.

There have also been other instances in the past where I would leave multiple messages for the service department and not get a return call.

I have contacted BMW Headquarters and their response was favorable. A formal complaint has been added to their data base.

Very poor customer service.

I appreciated the call back from customer relations, but the "resolution" was just a reiteration of what was already said. They didn't work to resolve any issues and could care less about what your reasoning may be.

If you're in the market for a used car, be very cautious! Ask as many questions as you can think of and make sure everything is documented. It's very difficult to make a big purchase from a business that lacks integrity.

I configured an X7 online and when I placed the order with him, he immediately updated one of his allocations and provided the order number on the spot. I got a great deal too. Experience from sales through 2 years of disappointing service, can't think of a single positive experience.

Bought new 550i M with no trade in and no negative equity. Somehow, 2 years later after driving only 15K miles, they tell me this car has depreciated in value $30K.

Service never answers the phone. When you finally figure out how to obtain service, there is no follow up. Was informed of a part recall 2 months ago. But, the part still hasn't shipped "from Germany."

Had oil supposedly changed, yet within 7 days oil light comes on and come to find out, the oil is now empty (7 days after an oil change appt here.)

And I still can't get anyone on the phone.

As an owner of two BMWs I rely exclusively on my service advisor, Carlos Martel. He is THE go-to-guy for friendly, professional, and knowledgeable handling of all my service needs. Whether I have an appointment, or drop in with an emergency issue, Carlos is on it immediately as if I were his only customer. He assesses service needs quickly and accurately, and keeps me advised of work progress in a timely way so that there are no surprises. Thanks to Robin Jones [Advisor] and Mike Salins [Shop Foreman] for taking on the task of repairing the retractable roof on my wife's Z4 using the supplied couplings and hydraulic hose from Cabriolet Hydraulics resulted in a less expensive repair than was proposed by the BMW dealership in Colorado Springs. I would certainly consider BMW of Sterling for future repairs and service on both our '98 Z3 and '10 Z4.

In any event, I dropped by BMW of Sterling, spoke with Andrew Dukes in the service lane and 15 minutes later...problem solved!!! No muss, no fuss...just excellent customer service!! he even went so far as to take a look at the I-drive and correct the appropriate PSI readings, so I shouldn't have this problem again. Showed him the letter which was an offer to get out of my almost finished lease (6 payments left) so inside we went. Once inside he introduced us to Danny who walked us over to his desk, and the second question he asked was how much we were going to put down, and if I was willing to go up on monthly payments. Wow... I was holding in my hand a letter that claimed to not need to... Just goes to show how much they will tell you anything just to get you in the door. The Sales Manager was very professional, but he should really work on his staff... if you walk out after 5 mins at a table they re are doing something wrong... considering your letter even stated what my current monthly payment was and that they could meet or reduce your monthly payments

All I wanted to do was schedule a regular maintenance appointment, but the schedule service page was blank. I tried calling the service # and all I got was voicemail (this is 11am on a Saturday), and when I tried asking a question about it on the chat window that was on the service page, I was told that it was a dedicated sales chat window! So what? -I buy a car from there and after it's paid for, there aren't any resources to help me maintain it? So frustrating! Customers, go to another BMW dealership!

She had initiated contact with the dealership a couple weeks prior to last Saturday s visit and was fortunate to have been connected with Newton Gentry. He located the perfect car (for her) from their extensive inventory and had it ready and waiting for us when we arrived. After a short test drive, we began the ( stressful part ) negotiation phase. Service appointment girl is terribly unprofessional. Called to schedule an oil change service. Asked about a winterization service and the girl got annoyed and gave me a lecture about the difference. Had a terrible tone an attitude on the phone. Left a VM with the Service Director with disinterested feedback only to be flanked with lies he heard from his employee that I was being uncourteous.
