Mark McNamee Review of BMW of Sterling

The experience I had when shopping for my new vehicle was excellent. The sales person (Angela Collins) was very knowledgeable and very helpful. However, things deteriorated rapidly from there. While taking delivery of my new vehicle, they tried to change the interest rate, and insisted that they had discussed this with me (they had not) and tried to claim that the previously agreed-upon rate did not apply to my vehicle. I literally had to show them - on their own website - that the agreed-upon rate was actually the rate shown online. After resolving this, and signing all the paperwork, I literally waited in the waiting room for 3 HOURS before their one and only "BMW Genius" was able to meet with me and walk me through my new car's various options and features - or so I thought. All I got was a 20 minute tutorial on how to connect my phone to the vehicle, and a quick run-through of how to use the phone interface. No explanation or demonstration on how to use the Parking Assist feature, or the safety features, or the many other options that would actually be good to know before driving off the lot. And finally, I have now owned my new vehicle for 6 weeks, and this dealership has still not paid off the loan on my trade-in. I am now receiving late notices from my previous lender, since I did not make the payment that was due a full 4 weeks after I handed over the keys to my trade-in. I think I have said enough.
