I m impressed, this was my best car buying experie...

I m impressed, this was my best car buying experience in 38 years. I have driven Lexus and Mercedes the past 18 years and love my new Audi A8. The Audi provides more technical functionality, smooth drive and a much better value. My sales team consistently demonstrated trust, integrity and professionalism. When a problem was identified with the car I was going to purchase, they resolved it quickly and absorbed any additional cost.

My sales person, Crystal Taylor, was terrific without being intrusive. The sales manager, Neil Thompson, was helpful and straightforward. My finance guy, Dan Cody, customized a service package for me and had me on my way quickly on a cash deal. I was introduced to the service manager, Hunter Wall, who made me feel super confident in my new purchase. Special thanks to Gino Bresolin, another excellent sales professional. Gino volunteered to give me a comprehensive overview of my new car when my primary sales person had another appointment arrive. Everyone I worked with welcomed me to the Audi family. Great culture and great teamwork!

Took my car to Audi for A diagnostic test, they gave me a loaner. No one called me back to give me the quote no one called me back to even try to get the loaner car back. I decided to go back to take the loaner car back to find out one of the service people gave my car away to someone who showed them a piece of paper. They didn t get a name an I d a piece of paper nothing. They wouldn t give me a loaner car since they weren t servicing my car, THE CAR THEY GAVE AWAY. My car is paid for so they pulled the race card like maybe I owe someone and they came and took it may be repo or something. So now I m carless waiting on corporate to open there suppose to open an investigation and pull cameras but that don t mean Sh-t if I don t have a car now. There not trying to put me in one either.

it's only fair that I write a review after buying my second Audi there and amassing a small fleet of Audi. I purchased my A4 elsewhere and took it to them to have them work on the oil consumption fiasco. Well, it was a little past 80K but they worked on my behalf with Audi USA to replace the engine so essentially, I'm driving in a new A4. Well, you can tell how good a place is by how they treat you after the sale and the Audi of Plano's service after the sales proved to me that they wanted to keep my business. So when it was time to replace my wife's 4Runner, Ricky Reed gave us a deal on a 17 Q5 that we couldn't refuse. So fast forward to present time and when it's time for me to buy a new car, it's a no brainer to come back to the man who make buying a new car a very pleasant experience. Even though they didn't have in stock nearby, Ricky was able to secure me a top of the line all options check S5 Sportback and this car has been worth the wait. I don't know which is better, knowing that I got a good deal with the sales team or knowing that they'll be with me after the sales with the service team. All I know is that I have a killer deal on this Prestige S5 Sportback with the red leather seats.#4rings nah bruh try #12rings ...and counting. *UPDATE* Yep. Went back, traded in our Q5 and got a new Q7....still counting....

I didn't feel like they were being nice b/c they had to in order to make a sale. Rather, I felt like they were being genuine. Finally, we couldn't be happier with our Audi Q7!

I inquired about an MDX at 40,997. Got a response and all was well. All the sudden there was a "mistake made" and the car price was raised to 44995. Autonation audi plano does not stand by their advertised prices. Bait you with one price, switch it to another.

My wife & I were in the market for a CUV. We had narrowed the choices down to a BMW X3 and Audi Q5. My wife really wanted to stay with the Audi brand, so for the past few weeks I'd been looking on-line at the local dealer's Q5 inventory (which by the way is quite limited as the Q5 is very popular). A couple of weeks ago I spotted a silver Q5 at Audi Dallas, so that set things into motion.

We new that we wanted to work with Corstiaan in some capacity as we had previous purchased 5 news Audis from him - each experience was a delight. Corstiaan is the General Manager of the dealership, so I didn't know if still "got down in the dirt" with respect to making individual car deals. On 3/9 I sent an internet inquiry about a couple of Q5s that showed up on Boardwalk's website, but didn't contain specifics (colors / options ) about the vehicles as they were in the port, awaiting shipment to the dealership. Anthony responded to the on-line inquiry and I stopped by the afternoon of 3/9.

Amazingly, when we looked at the inbound Q5s, one was equipped just about how I would have ordered it from the factory. The only "nice to have" that it was missing was the B&O stereo upgrade (but the standard system is great). It even had the trailer hitch that I need. Having this specific vehicle was a 1000-to-1 longshot, but sometimes things just work out. I should have bought a lottery ticket that evening.

We had a couple of trades I thought that would be a good fit for Boardwalk's used car department (a 2006 A6 and a 2008 TT). I had a number in mind for both my trades and the Q5, and after about 3 minutes Corstiaan, Anthony and I were all on the same page and agreed to a deal.

Anthony called to inform me that the Q5 arrived on 3/13. He was kind enough to take some photos of it on the transporter and let me see it before it went thru PDI. The only change needed was a swap of the front grille license plate filler, and this was done prior to delivery.

The afternoon of 3/13 my wife and I arrived at the dealership for delivery. The car was flawlessly prepared and presented. Anthony gave us very through demonstration of the features and verified with us that everything was perfect.

We then went to F&I where we went thru the paperwork with Bruce. Bruce is a great guy, who even shares my enthusiasm for motorcycles. After about 15 minutes we completed the necessary paperwork and were off to enjoy our Q5.

We then said our goodbyes to Anthony and Corstiaan. My wife drove the Q5 off of the lot and it has been all she has talked about this week!

I can't say enough good things about Boardwalk Audi. I have purchased cars from some excellent local dealerships (Park Place Lexus / Classic BMW / Plano Mercedes), but my experience with Boardwalk Audi surpassed those excellent experiences.

Went on line, identified the car/vin I was interested in, called the sales rep and made an appointment to see the car, went to the dealership and sat in the car for 40 minutes discussing the car details, gave my car up for a trade in evaluation, and then sat for an hour to finally be told my car was sold to another person. Clearly a broken process where the right hand does not have a clue what the left hand is doing. The sales rep was not at fault and was as upset as I was. Eventually was offered and accepted an alternative vehicle. Either Audi puts in some Lean visual management in place or they update their sales systems to avoid this situation happening again. Great car, crappy process, embarrassed sales team, very poor customer experience......

Mike answered all of my questions and his level of communication goes above and beyond anything I've ever experienced at a traditional dealer. Sales person Jonathan is great. But beware of finance team -they try to cheat on loan part. In my case i got 2.69% of interest from Bank of America but Lorenzo(finance) was telling that in his system he could see 3.89%. I had to call bank to sort out. So dont go with their financing. Finance team - i will give 0 star rating. But sales folks Edgar and Jonathan are the best - they get 5 star.

Very smooth interaction, highly customer centric staff, Corbin was great in assisting with the requirements and get the servicing done timely. The text message interaction kept me updated on the status and I was getting real time updates. The only show stopper was that I had asked the car to be cleaned INSIDE out as I had volunteered at a dog shelter to transfer dogs. The car was washed from outside and very very half heartedly vacuumed or just dusted from inside ( the sides of the door, back seat, carpet was had dirt) this just ruined the entire experience.

Called Audi of Plano and spoke with Ricky Reed. He held the car I was interested in and met me when I arrived an hour later. I decided to go with the flagship model Q7. Glad I did by the way. Everything went well and I finally got the price I wanted after a couple hrs of negotiating. Very happy with the car. Great experience so far. Ricky was friendly and personable....Semper Fi!! I have decided that I want the 2016 Q7 and was "reassured" that when it comes out that I will be offered a great trade in deal on my 2015 Q7.... Alas we shall see. Update to follow then....

Update: Went here to fix a noise coming from the front of my car. I was told that there was nothing wrong and it was the brakes or some flexing metal making the noise. I took the car to audi dallas instead two days ago where they found that the suspension components were cracking and leaking fluid in the bushings. The employees at this location are rude and incompetent. They potentially put my family in danger by improperly diagnosing my car!

My experience was pretty good. The salesman Crockett was the best. I gave them 3 stars because I had to drive from Houston their Plano office to give them my trade in and pickup my new vehicle. Everything else was able to be done via online, phone and mail. Also, they misquoted my trade in offer and I had issues after leaving with the new vehicle about paying them extra cash to cover them reconditioning my trade in because they didn't assess the damages before signing the deal. The trade in manager was also pretty rude about my questioning the cost of the damages. However, my sales rep was still very pleasant and took the fault and helped through the process. Because of him, they will receive future business from me.

I've always had my car serviced at Audi Plano and ...

I've always had my car serviced at Audi Plano and normally have had good experiences. However, my most recent experience was POOR.
The folks in Service have always told me that adding 1/2 Qt of oil every ~4000 miles was normal for the A4, but it wasn't til the warranty expired did they confess that these vehicles have an "oil consumption" issue which can be costly to fix. So I immediately tried to get that warranty extended (the mileage was under the threshold, but it was 6 months past the coverage expiration date) so I could get an evaluation. Chris (Service Mgr) claimed he tried to do so with his bosses, but was denied.

So then I attempted to purchase a Platinum warranty coverage ($4800) as I hoped to keep the car for years to come. I called Finance (started with Seth) and left messages with others at least 6 times over a 2 month period, but they refuse to call me back. The folks at the front desk are very kind, and assured me someone would call me, but but nobody ever did.

I can only assume they know I have a major issue brewing and aren't telling me. I mean, do you know anybody who won't sell YOU an extended warranty plan??

Will leave a 2 star rating only cuz they ve been great in the past.

I was just looking at purchasing a used car for my daily 80 mile round trip to work and stopped in to this Audi dealership about 20 minutes before closing. Our salesperson was Alex Bieniek. Even though he was ready to go home, he graciously showed us the used inventory and suggested taking an Audi A6 Quattro for a test drive. He thoroughly went through the cars features and performance characteristics. I was not really looking to pick up an Audi, but after test driving several other vehicles over the course of the next several days, I was really impressed with the A6. Alex got me the deal I wanted and we were out of the dealership in an hour.

Audi is the one which is supposed to provide the most enriching customer experience. But Audi Plano thrashes it all. I bought brand new Audi Q7 from them. There were several problems during each service. Be it delays, incomplete inspection, repeat visit for same problem etc. Then a year later I go to trade/sell it, they gave me 40% lesser price than the purchase price. Then I go to Audi Dallas and I get 15% more price with just 25% depreciation from purchase price. Audi Plano is seriously not living up to the Audi Quality or expectation. I would never recommend this store.

I purchased the 2014 Audi A7 from the Audi Plano dealership on December 28, 2013. It was a wonderful experience! I love the car! I previously owned a Mercedes and wasn't sure about going with the Audi. My sales representative - Rich Gouhin - was extremely helpful in making my decision. He spent a great deal of time with me helping me explore every aspect of the vehicle. He answered all of my questions, and helped put my mind at ease in switching from Mercedes to Audi. I have not regretted the decision. It is an amazing car! When it came time for us to discuss the financial aspects, Mitch Henson was the manager that we talked with. He was also very pleasant to work with and made the transaction very easy for us. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone in the Dallas/ North Texas area. They are courteous, efficient and very easy to work with! It has been an overall wonderful experience, and I will continue with my service and any other needs for my vehicle, here with them.

I had a very positive and pleasant experience at Audi Plano on Tuesday. I came in for my 45000 mile warranty check up. I had made an appointment, and as soon as I arrived at the Service Center, I was greeted by a very nice man and I gave him my name. Within 2 minutes my service representative came out and checked me in. His name was Paul. He was very courteous and professional. He explained to me what was to be done, itand offered if I wanted anything else to be done. I said, "not at this time", and he showed me where the waiting room was. It was big and spacious with refreshments, water, coffee, chips, and even some brownies. I relaxed and made myself comfortable, and soon Paul came and told me that my Audi was ready and I checked out. My car was so clean, as if it had been detailed. Thank you so much for your excellent customer service.

What a great group of people. Didn't have an appointment and car was acting unusual took to Audi Plano and was immediately taken care of. Justin was awesome and helped me get my car fixed in a timely manner. I was well informed every step of the way even when he was out of town getting married. Just above and beyond ystomer service and would highly recommend. Car came back practically brand new and without any issues after. Thanks again Justin and everyone involved behind the scenes.

Very first service on my vehicle they had no record of me in their system. After confirming it with Finance they found I had purchased the extra warranty. Four years later and my last service they said I needed a motor mount and asked if I had bought the extended warranty. I told them when I bought the extra warranty in the beginning I was told there was nothing else I could get and that I was covered bumper to bumper for everything except tires, brakes, etc. They have no record of my purchase they say. While in for service they damaged a control knob on my console but want me to pay $134 for a new knob even though THEY were the ones who damaged it. That will be my last time I visit Audi Plano for anything. I will continue to buy more Audi's in the future and continue to upgrade but not with them.

I have owned Audi A4 for 12 years and got it serviced at Boardwalk Audi and the same advisors provided great service. Every time they suggested a big repair I got a second opinion and it matched and I started trusting them.Then the mgmt changed I believe. In 2013 they suggested I sell my A4 for a new Audi and they will give Audi Loyalty discount. They suggested I go and sell it with Carmax for better price. I did that and came back the next week to buy a Q5 and guess what ?? They told me I can not get Audi Loyalty discount anymore since I don't own an Audi any longer.
Another incident on my Q5 service ...
I took my car for service last december ( Dec 2015 ) . They performed service and told me my brakes were OK. Around April 2016 my Q5 started giving brake noise. I took my Q5 for state inspection at Audi Plano and after getting it inspected they told me I need to replace all 4 brake pads for $1550 . I could not believe my brake pads were already gone. So I got my car back and checked with another Audi dealer for the price and I got the same $1500 quote but they mentioned that the odds of all 4 brakes needing replacement at the same time are very low. I did not want to drive far so I went back to Audi Plano mentally prepared to spend $1500 . I drove around 800 miles between those visits . Then I hear that since I did not replace the brakes when they suggested ( 800 miles back ) I need to replace my rotors as well and the total cost is now $2200. I realized something is very wrong and took my car back and drove to another Audi dealer . They looked at it for 90 minutes and came back and told me the brakes and rotors are both fine and they don't need replacement. In fact they told me the brake noise was related to recall on Q5 and fixed it for free . Now I am very disappointed with Audi Plano after being a loyal customer for 16 years. I feel they tried to cheat me and the worst part is that it was with the same advisor I worked with for last 16 years.

I worked with Travis and Marcio with my 2016 Audi A6 Prestige. I had an exceptional buying experience. I called Travis and told him I didn't want to do the typical back and forth (let me ask the manager) 2-3 hour ordeal that I have had at other dealerships. We agreed the price of the A6 within 10 mins. I drove straight to the dealership with my trade (a Lexus). As I was test driving the A6 they were valuing my trade in, which they offered a fair price for. All in all, I couldn't be happier. And I LOVE my new A6!

The sales person was good and very friendly. Finance dept. was very pleasant and helpful with all the questions until I bought the car. Only concern is 2 weeks after car was bought, I realized that I did not receive the cargo mat that was part of my package.I called the sales person and he claims that they cannot guarantee the products on the window sticker as I bought a used car. He says someone might have removed/Stolen it ( please note that the car I bought has ONLY 400 miles for 2016 model and owned by Audi Plano itself). The purchase order provided at the time of sale has car value including the cargo mat as per the Window sticker.This is very annoying and unethical.First of all, they delivered car with missing accessories and when I call back they do not take responsibility of it and instead claim that the used cars with this dealership are not guaranteed with any stolen or missing parts??

Update: I was contacted by Sales Manager after I called GM on number provided below and they provided me with the Cargo Mat today 08/19.

We recently purchased an Audi Q3 from Audi of Plano. It was our first Audi so we had no idea of what to expect. Our salesperson, Tyler Jones, was very helpful in explaining the process, but more importantly, explaining just what kind of car we were purchasing. He knew the Audis like the back of his hand, even the Q3 which was only introduced to the US in the last 6 months. Tyler s enthusiasm over the car helped keep us at ease and allowed us to focus on the car, its functionalism and what we wanted out of it. We needed the Quarto in a larger vehicle other than a car then but not a huge as an SUV the Q3 was the ticket, a little bigger than a cross over but defiantly not an SUV requiting a step stool to get in which helped with carting Granny around town. All in all, Tyler s professionalism made the deal despite troubling issues with the finance department his jovial manor and frankness kept us interested and in the end, happy that we stayed and were able to drive off the lot. I would definitely recommend Audi of Plano and if you do decide to buy one, ask for Tyler and no one else. Well worth the overall experience.

We had the best experience at Audi plano, Tracy, the salesman we worked with, was extremely patient in showing us a number of vehicles driving us through the lot. When it came to price negotiation, we had a price in mind, nd he was able to search through the inventory and found the best Audi Q5 that we wanted without compromising on color or features that we wanted. I strongly recommend Audi plano to find the right car at the best price possible.

It was our first time buying an Audi and he patiently helped us decide between our different options by explaining everything and scheduling as many test drives as needed. Calvin told me it would take about 1/2 day when I set up the appointment. I dropped the car off at 8:30am (appointment at 9:00am) and actually had to wait the full 30 minutes to get the loaner. I didn't get the call about the car being ready until 4:53pm, which put me retrieving it in the worst possible traffic. They did give me an option of retrieving it in the morning, but given the reviews I have seen about cars being vandalized and broken into at Audi Plano service, I didn't want my car left out all night. When I arrived, there was a note in the front passenger seat, "Car Seat may have been removed." Interesting use of words, since it either was or wasn't removed, and in this case, it was missing. The porter basically pulled my car up and was going to walk away without providing any assistance as to where the child safety seat was or reinstalling it. Given that it took me 45 minutes to get there and would take 45 minutes in traffic back, I was now going to be late picking up my daughter from preschool (which comes with a fee). I asked for a manager from 2 different people, and never got one. The child seat was in the wayback. If you are a parent of young children, you know that installing a child safety seat isn't trivial and can take some time. Finally Calvin came out, told me to stop yelling at him and said he could help (but waited until I told him to help to actually do it). Huge waste of time. Calvin apparently knew that removing the child seat was part of the repair process, so he could have alerted me to this prior to the repair so I could plan accordingly. Luckily, my husband had left work early enough to be able to pick up our daughter, but this was a change of plan.

Making the appointment was a struggle. When I pull in to the drive, they asked me to restart my car so I could turn the wheel, and I declined; there didn't seem to be a purpose in wasting gas and wear and tear on the engine. The only purpose of this is to sell me tires (I asked a service advisor friend of mine later). Made me wait the full 30 minutes for the loaner when it appeared the person taking care of this was not very busy. Kept my car longer than they originally said it would take. Inconvenienced me with zero communication with the removal of the child seat, and then left me with my car with zero assistance with its reinstallation. Didn't listen to me when I asked for a service manager. And then the service guy (I had a hard time typing the word service because it wasn't) told me not to yell at him when I was now put at risk of picking up my daughter late from school and scrambling for an alternative. We were already thinking we were NOT going to be purchasing another Audi when we looked at replacements for this car; this sealed the deal on that since they are the nearest dealership. I also will be ruling out anything owned by AutoNation because of this experience.

Great sales department and Terrible service. I have a busy schedule so the only way to get answers about service for my car is through phone. I have called over 10 times in the last week and i get transferred to one of their advisors every time but no one ever answers. I spent about 20 minutes each time on hold and at the end i go to a voicemail, i left a message but got no response. Even after i called and told them that the advisors they transfer me to are not picking up they continued to do the same thing like incoherent robots. Not pleased at all with their service department.

The experience with Audi Plano was less than desired. Purchased my vehicle online including having my own financing. After 3 days of literally project managing the process and calling between sales and finance to let them know what the other department was doing we got some traction. I assume they were not happy with me pushing the process along because they tried everything to avoid taking my cashiers check for the vehicle. After another day, the deal close. I made an appointment to pickup/take delivery of the vehicle. When I arrive, the vehicle was not prep for delivery and I had to provide copies of every document that I originally provided online. After 4 hours of waiting on them and repeating everything that was done online, they provide me the keys of a vehicle that was again not prep for delivery. I outlined everything that I expected for predelivery and they attempted to complete. After a second attempt and a complete waste of my day, I accepted the vehicle and left. Don t visit this dealership unless you have 8 hours to spare in buying a car.

I felt well taken care of after Adrian P. came to greet me in the showroom. When I first visited, I only had questions, and he was happy to assist and handed me his card for when I was ready. When I was ready a month later, I called him, made an appointment, and Adrian helped facilitate a fair deal on a new car. It was easy and professional. Other staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Good experience overall. Special acknowledgement to Adrian for taking a younger person with an old car seriously.

I went in to schedule my 15,000 miles service and reserve a car. Following week when i dropped my car they said they can't give me a rental car because the service only take couple hrs. What??? I specifically made an appointment to drop my car off and use the rental car!! I can't just sit around few hours on my working day. I told the service adviser if i dont get a rental car i will have to talk to supervisor for file a complaint. haha then he gave me a rental car as promised. When i got my car back they did such a HORRIBLE job on cleaning my seats and mats as if they didn't do a squad!!! I knew Audi has a bad reputation on service but this place is by far the worst of all.

I actually hear a guy answering & placing me back on hold. This seems to be a trend in poor customer service with servicing at a Dallas & Plano Audi. Really makes me want to trade in my car to avoid dealing with them all together!

I had been going to Audi Dallas for service and hated it so much that I actually put off getting my recalls and my service their because they always made me feel like they were too busy to listen my needs and offer good service. Robert at AUDI PLANO was just the opposite... I had like three different issues that my A7 needed attention too and he got me in a loaner the same day(Audi Dallas will tell you 2-3 weeks) and had my car fixed that evening..... I love my car again and will never go anywhere else for service... BTW I have been in the car business for over 30 years so I know good service when i get it... GREAT JOB GUYS!!

It's obvious, Audi of Plano is content with their business due to their premier location. There is no synchronization of service and loaners.

My story is way too long to share. Bottom line, they are amateur operators. Start with inexperienced service advisors who are are "by the book" but cant think for themselves. No sense of urgency. Management is weak and does not put the customer first. Customer service counter is a joke. I waited 15 minutes (serious) with no one there. She strolled in with no sense of urgency. Go with Jaguar or Classic BMW for a far better service experience. Audi build a great product but unless you drive an R8 Audi Plano will disappoint you.

Had purchased a A3 TDI off of a lease with 55 K miles from Audi Plano. Salesman Jim was a credit to salesmen and stepped up and took care of the details made this go quick and painless and a awesome deal to boot. Shortly after the purchase I had a check engine light come on took it a local parts store and read out the code and it indicated a diesel exhaust particulate filter had gone bad. So I scheduled an appointment for the work to be done a week out and got a loaner car from the dealership. I should also mention that there was a passenger side mirror installed on the drivers side door and so I brought this issue up as well to be addressed as it made everything appear further away than it was. Took over a week to finally get my car back which was not a big deal but to get the dealership to take responsibility for replacement of the mirror took some threats to report it to the GM and Audi Certified as well as it is apparent the sales team and more importantly the service team are not very well versed in the Certified Used car program. The mirror should have been taken care of without any issue by simply stating there was a problem that needed addressed not having to remind the service advisor Shari, about the issue at the end of the week and then having to get confrontational with the original sales person named Brandon as well this should have been handled internally. I got the car back the first of the following week and the exhaust issue was fixed and it improved my MPG dramatically as well but as I left I could hear what appeared to be a loose underbody panel rubbing against something of acceleration and braking. It was 6 PM and too late that day to address the issue so about a week later I was at an appointment in Plano and stopped in in the afternoon to have the issue looked at and what it ended up being was the entire subframe of the vehicle that the entire front suspension attach too was not tightened back up after it was loosened up to remove the exhaust. While it only took about an hour to get back on the road and finished up the major issue is the danger posed by the service technician not following proper protocols that he could have left something that critical loose. While I find the level of detail and care the dealership presents for its customers it cannot make up for a serious lack of attention to detail from the service department.

Well not too excited or thrilled about the purchase as of now. I did buy a pre-owned Audi A4 and my sales associate reaffirmed me that the vehicles are inspected and have no issues what so ever. One day in of owning and driving the vehicle a sensor goes off and an hour later another sensor in the display pops up. Now it is flashing like a christmas tree. So it starts with these problems and I'm not sure they really inspect or check the vehicles here correctly. I'm trying to get a hold of the sales rep who assured me no issues and I get no answer from him looks like once you buy a pre-owned vehicle your on your own.

This particular dealership was unable to offer a deal on the Audi model I wanted and made me feel as though that it wouldn't happen unless I compromised or was prepared to drop $2000+ as a down payment up front for a lease or finance option. In the end, I got a much greater deal at Audi of Grapevine, without dishing out a down payment, with the monthly car payment I was looking for, 2018 model instead of 2017, a lease which is what I wanted, they gave me even more for my trade, and great customer service from beginning to end. I am hoping that this place will get better at trying to serve the community with better intentions. I don't believe that one should have to travel a far distance to get the same product for a better experience/deal when you live in the area. I cant wait for the new dealership to open in McKinney and hope that they provide great service to the community.
