The absolute nastiest and unprofessional claims adjuster I've ever talked to. I was rear ended by their insured and they're saying I'm at fault!!! Not to mention, they are the most rude and unprofessional company I've ever dealt with! They will NOT let you speak to management, they intercept the call. And the worst part is they blatantly LIED to the insurance bureau when a complaint was filed! I'm in shock that a company is allowed to act like this and remain in business! If I could give them ZERO stars, I would! Please read the reviews before doing business with them, they are HORRIBLE!

This is the worst insurance company to deal with when it comes to claims. They will offer you way less than what your vehicle is worth when you have a total loss. The claims adjusters are rude and not helpful at all. Asked to speak to a supervisor and had to leave a message for them to call me back, and guess what no call back from supervisor.

This is the worst insurance company!! I'm not impressed the least bit. They have horrible customer service. They will scam you of your money take ridiculous deductions off of what they should pay you. Tell me it was totaled before an appraiser even went and looked at it. The damage wasnt that bad and refused to fix it!! I wouldn't not recommend this company to anyone!! Someone needs to investigate this business and make things right for their customers.

Worst insurance group ever. They only care about you before they get your money. When you file a claim they take months to return a simple phone call. Almost went bankrupt not being able to work because a rental vehicle was UNAVAILABLE for WEEKS UPON WEEKS while trying to get a claim paid. Save your sanity and go anywhere else.

This is the absolute WORST insurance agency. Their agent outright lied to me in an e-mail and did not follow insurance laws regarding a claim. How they continue to be in business is beyond me. The agent only cared about her renewal premium and had no sense of integrity, honesty or customer service. The president of the company never called me back when I left a message to complain about my experience. I have never experienced a more unprofessional agency in all my life.

Unresponsive, unprofessional and unethical customer handling. Moreover, AIC never tells you that they will short rate - impose a higher calculated premium than what they tell you upfront, check pp#34 B-1 of their policy (If you cancel your policy, the return premium will be computed at 90% of the pro-rate return premium). Don't get fooled. AIC never gives a lower premium than any Auto insurance out there. They know how to cheat you. Check them and you will be the greatest LOOSER ever of your money value on top of their unrespectful behavior.

I represent this company and they are easy to deal with as an insurance agent, customer service, and claims handling. They continually improve their product and platform and listen to their agents feedback. As for upholding their promise (money where their mouth is), one of our client's had a claim in Sept 2019 that paid out over $150,000 between Bodily Injury, Medicals, and Property Damage. It's not the kind of claim anyone wants to have happen, but talk about insurance safeguarding your assets and staying out of bankruptcy. AIC is an insurance company you can count on when it matters.

This company has the worst customer service I have...

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. After their insured hit and totaled my car, it took Agency Insurance four business days to get in touch with me regarding my claim after I had called them at least ten times. Each time I was told they were "waiting to assign my case to an agent." Meanwhile, I was left with my totaled car and no one to help resolve the claim from an accident that was not my fault. I finally spoke with an agent who said he had been distracted by other things which is why he hadn't returned my calls, but that the company was accepting full liability, and that someone had already appraised the damage to my car without ever contacting me or letting me know they were doing so (my question is how did they know the car would be at my house when they dropped by without checking with me first). The agent gave me an estimate and told me the car was not totaled and I could drop it in the shop. After spelling out my last name and correcting the agent twice for referring to me by the incorrect last name, he made a reservation for a rental car which could not be found because it was filed under a completely different last name. When the rental agency finally spoke with him they were able to locate my reservation, at which time the Agency Insurance agent called me to let me know that he had read the claim wrong and my car had been totaled the entire time. By this time I had already dropped my car at a repair shop, and the owner of the repair shop contacted me to let me know that from just their initial inspection of the car (without pulling anything apart), the estimate was off by $4000. My claim was then transferred to a different agent named Christine to handle the total loss, and she has been nothing but rude. When I asked about the remaining $200 of my auto loan that would not be covered by the total loss, she told me that "if I was upside down on my car loan, it isn't her problem." A week has gone by now during which time she was supposed to have mailed me documents to sign regarding the total loss, and nothing has arrived in the mail. I live one state away, and have successfully mailed cards to family members across the United States in less time than it has taken to receive these documents. When I called to ask when they were sent, her curt reply was "you'll get them. Just give it time." Well, time is something I don't have considering my rental contract is up today and I am still car less as it has been two weeks since the accident and still nothing is even close to being resolved. This company is rude, inefficient, and completely indifferent to the sufferings of others caused by their insured, and they have offered no help in resolving this claim.

To any person checking reviews for this shady business , please scroll down past all of the FAKE 5 star reviews left within the past month or two to get a TRUE idea of what your experience with Agency Insurance Company (AIC) will be like. I ve been in the car sales business for the past 7 years and I have never heard so many horror stories from victims of AIC s unlawful tactics that I am only left to question why someone will give them a penny or the time of their day. Please save yourself the headache and legal fees by choosing one of the major auto insurance companies before even considering going to AIC for ANYTHING. You do not want to be represented by AIC in case you have an accident. You will regret it DEARLY. If I could I'd give it 0 stars. They are the worst insurance company I've every seen. I was in a very bad car accident last year and the claims department was very rude. 6 months later I get a piece of mail stating my license was being suspended due to me not closing my case of last year. The gentleman that was suppose to have closed my case did not because he quit and nobody notified me.. I'm now having to pay a reinstatement fee because I need my license and they denied any fault.. RIDICULOUS.

Horrible experience, One of their clients rear-ended my car. They are not returning my calls or voicemails.
My car is too damaged to drive very far.
I'm stuck waiting for them, I was supposed to drive out of town, I can't because they are dragging their feet on this claim.

My boyfriend at the time (now husband) had this company just for liability on his vehicle. Once we got married and decided to combine policies we went with a different company. After signing all cancelation papers they still continue to draft money out for a policy he doesn't even have anymore. He even called them to confirm that they had gotten rid of our banking information. They said they would not be drafting out anymore money, and what do you know, I wake up to it being drafted out again.

Not surprised to see all the 1 stars for this useless company. Had a policy for 1 day and cancelled because I found another place that was half the price. Still waiting for my refund check 3 weeks later that they claim they mailed out. And then tell me after 30 days they will send a new one if I don't receive it. It's 2018 and they can't refund electronically? They must be waiting to make sure the check clears or something...

We picked up AIC compared to other companies pricing. The first month was fine $138 for 2 vehicles, they then raised the rates to over 2x the original price $296. I quickly told my agent that this was not acceptable so he contacted them and said the rate would drop back to the original, it dropped $24. Wasn't happening, so he switched me to another company and told me that there may be a $50 cancellation fee...they charged me over $213 for a cancellation fee. Since I did auto pay they already had my $. I will be filing with the better business bureau. If i could leave 0 stars I would. I had never heard of them before and now I can see why. I can't imagine that they'll be in business long. AIC should stand for Assh*les, Idiots & Crooks!!!

Would never use this company again. My wife was in a car accident that was the other person's fault we assume as we have never heard who got blamed for the accident. We tried calling Ken Frank multiple times and only got his voicemail with assurance that he would get back to us in a few hours and waited a few days before we heard anything. We were leaving on a cruise the following weekend and when we got back after a week found we pretty much had to start the whole claims process over again. Once things got processed we had to wait for 3 weeks before the check finally arrived for our totaled car. Still waiting to hear back whether it was technically my wife's fault for the accident.

Not happy with this company. When my policy runs out in January I won't be renewing with them. They paid off good when I wrecked my truck . But they dont want to pay when someone is hurt. My girlfriend was with me when I totalled my truck and they said they dont owe her anything. Any other company if I was injured would offer some sort of settlement but not AIC... The claims agent Nathan is a very rude person

Don't do it. They are a rip off. A bunch of zombie mo mo's in there. I got auto withdraw. Was supposed to get a discount never did. I recommended them to my ladyfriend and received a referral check for $50.00. My policy went up $51.00 a year, that's right. Coincidence I think not. Called and complained. Didn't do anything for me. Every year after that it would go up. I shopped around and quickly found other insurance at half the price. So I canceled the account. I clearly printed on the policy renewal CANCEL THIS ACCOUNT PLEASE. So what did they do. Renewed it. They STOLE money out of my account. If I told them in writing to cancel then they shouldn't be authorized to use MY bank account right? Didn't hear from them. Just took the money out and then sent me another 47 something dollar bill. They are horrible. Don't bother calling them it's like talking to Garry Busey...Beware!!!

I have had the absolute worst experience of my life. It s been 3 weeks and I haven t heard from my agent at all. She decided to take a vacation and ya know just not let me know. Everyone I have spoken to other then Eric has been disrespectful and rude. I ve asked for managers and supervisors and they continue to say they cannot let me speak to a manager. I have been disrespected, humiliated, and not taken seriously. I don t recommend this insurance to legitimately anyone. Chris Dyer should be fired. With video proof and and Officers report showing their insured driver was AT FAULT he claims my claim is denied because I am also at fault. Meanwhile I was NOT ticketed and the officer said on scene to myself and the driver they were at fault for hitting my car. I plan on suing this company, the driver and the owner on the vehicle. There was marijuana also in the vehicle and the driver was under the influence. Yet I'm at fault. Dont think so.

My insurance agent had me signed onto a fixed price with AIC and very shorty after they jacked my price up a considerable amount. It went up largely because they removed years of my driving history, I had to call and pay to find out the exact date of when I was issued my license. It took awhile to bring my price down by hardly anything, when I asked them why I was directed around and got nowhere. DO NOT USE AIC!!!

So the details of my compliment come from a single pleasant interaction with one of the representatives. I had been battling my property management (Timber Top Apartments, owned by AIY Properties in Cyahoga Falls in case anyone thinks about living there) over a charge of renter's insurance on my account.

This charge was erroneous and started based on Timber Top's claim that they received a cancellation notice. After providing multiple documents to the contrary and after many months of frustration I had called to try and see if there was a method that I had not tried. To my surprise the agent (I wish I knew her name) had gone above and beyond the call of duty and got management involved to help me resolve my issues. Due to the fact that my property managers would not attempt to collect any relevant information on their own, this AIC agent with support from management had gone through an unconventional route and called out from the office to my property management!

Although AIC was also given the run-around by what I consider to be the worst property management I've lived under so far, they pushed through and ended up contacting the corporate office of my complex and started a process by which they are now doing all of the legwork to prove that my insurance was both never cancelled and still active.

After writing a horrible review of my apartment complex, I wanted to share my experience with AIC as a thank you to their wonderful service.

Just got off the phone with this company after one of their clients hit my Parked car. They obviously use the lowest estimate and Totaled my car. I have to buy my car back at their salvage price. And I have to pay to get "their" paperwork notarized. The agent Rebekah Tate in Maryland was so condescending calling my 2006 car OLD, because she rips people off to pay for her newer car. Now they'll charge the guy who hit me for all the costs they pay out + interest. While they continue to collect fees from every client who never has an accident. What a RIP off "Insurance Co. Are.

Every now and then we get one or so customer that misunderstood the coverage and had a different expectation. 99.9% of my clients are happy with AIC.

I have known and have been working with AIC since its inception. I know this company inside and out and I know that they strive to serve all clients AND claimants respectfully and fairly. There are many issues that go into a claim, especially how quickly they get ALL information as well as some occasional phone tag. I have never heard ANY of these complaints from my clients (I am an Independent Insurance Agent) and believe that, based on my experiences, AIC strives for fairness and superior customer service. Does it happen on EVERY claim? Odds are every company has an occasional opportunity to make a mistake but my observation is that AIC strives to be one of the best.

I have been an agent for them since 2004 and while we had some ups and downs at the beginning, they do a great job from the agents perspective as well as customers. We have 17 companies and they are one of the leaders and favorites in our agency. They are small enough to fix things that aren't correct. They have some good people in all aspects of the company. They are forgiving if someone is late or gets cancelled with possible reinstatement, something not all companies are willing or able to do. Their discounts avail is as massive as any in the industry and their paid in full discount is also one of the biggest you can get. You won't see them advertised like you will see Flo, gecko and the like, but that provides a better price in the long run, imo.

I would give this company zero stars if I could. Agency insurance, Insured driver hit my Truck , while he was sleep driving and totaled my truck. The insured contacted Agency insurance, after he was given a ticket and advised, he was at fault. When I called this company, customer service reps were rude, did not care, that their insured called and accepted fault. The adjuster assigned , would not call us back to set up a rental, then when I called to speak to a different rep, who just pushed us back to voicemail, even when she stated , she could see him sitting at his desk. he refused to answer his phone, or return calls , from voicemails we left. When we did here from him, no empathy at ALL!!!!! Tried to treat us like criminals or a girlfriend who dumped him.. Just a hard way to go, with a very smug demeaner . I will never beg a company for anything!!!!! We simply asked for a rental, as we were not at fault!!!!!! My agent even called and tried assisting us, with this company! When the adjuster did call back about two days later, still had a smog demeaner, as if he was doing me a favor..... I had it at that point!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET OFF MY PHONE SIR !!!!This company should not be opened to the public, until the reps learn empathy, professionalism , and business antics ! And after 4p.m. , they play phone games when you call, once they see your number on the caller ID, they send you straight to voicemail. Being in an accident is traumatizing enough! My vehicle was damaged in shipment by a truck driver who had coverage through Agency Insurance. Agency Insurance went through all the motions but in the end did not pay the damages because their insured...the truck driver...would not call them back or cooperate with the investigation and the fine print in their policy says he must. This policy is shady at best and probably illegal. If this is how they operate to avoid paying out legitimate claims, that says all you need to know about them.

Some idiot that hit my car and totaled it has this pathetic excuse for an insurance company and I can't get in touch with them, despite the fact that they called me, left a message telling me to call them back, and EVERY TIME I CALL no one ever answers!!! This is not the company that you want to depend on...

This is not the company that you want to depend on in case of an emergency. The customer service reps are very polite and professional..... however the agents you get assigned to once your claim is filed are very rude I had 2 claims during mu policy and they didn t make me feel welcome as a client . The office is in md locally but you cannot go into the office to pick up or drop off paperwork for your claim everything mist be mailed. I had a very bad experience with my last claims agent who asked me person information not relevant to my claim. It felt more like he was investigating me and my claim . I was embarrassed and humiliated by the questions i was forced to answer as part of his investigation . You work hard for your money and belongings and I would recommend that you spend your money and protect your property elsewhere. The customer service department is excellent it is the ppl who get assigned your case that i had difficulty with. I have never been treated like this especially with an already stressful situation i dont need the company i rely on to make it harder on me . I hope this helps someone please dont be fooled by the few 5star reviews. If majority are 1 star that should tell you something. One of the 5 star reviews sys that the negative reviews are not true but everyone has their own opinions and experiences some ppl may have had a nice experience but on 2 claims I didn t. I cannot recomend this company.

I had an accident with one of their "insured". The woman ran a red light and I hit her in the rear side of her car. This crooked insurance company is denying liability because they said and I quote "our insured pretty much made it across your lane before you struck her". It took them over a month to render this decision. Within that month I have called the adjuster literally every day and left voice mails to never have my call returned. Fortunately for me, my lawyer answers his phone so I will be calling him in the morning.

Working with AIC it is very easy to understand and work with, especially with one of their representatives Bob he always has such positive attitude and has great work ethic! I have a claim through this insurance company. Someone hit my car on the street and left from the scene. A witness sent a picture with the tag to the police however, the agent is looking to get an signed statement from the witness only to delay the claim. He was very disrespectful telling me that he don't care when I asked him for a car rental. This insurance company need better professional to handle their claims. I made a couple of phone calls and emails to get the status of my claim however, no responses. A DISASTER

This Company has very rude customer service, and they do not notate accounts. Asked last month to take it off auto pay, they didn t and basically telling me they can t do anything. Train your employees on proper notation of accounts. I wouldn t even give this company one star unfortunately you have to give at least one star.. Don t waste your time, they re outrageous and rude.

These clowns don't even deserve the 1 star I'm giving them. Claim they have a 24-48 hour turnaround for accidnets, we'll it's beenough WELL OVER 2 damnesty weeks now, and no word on my vehicle!!! Every time I call, I get voice mail! They are A JOKE, don't go with them!!!!!!!

I someone covered with this insurance hit and ran me about four days ago. I called and placed a claim since I was able to follow the guy who hit me and take his plate information to provide to the state police. The state police provided me with his insurance information. When I called today, the claims department told me that the adjuster had already came by and explained everything to me, which is a total lie! I have a police report, the person who hit me confirmed that he did and this is the response I receive.

Great company! They frequently give me a much better price than other companies in the same market. In my 36 years of experience as an agent their claim service is just as fair as any other company.
Customers often believe their car is worth much more than it is, especially if they bought from a dealer and financed it. All insurance companies pay ACTUAL CASH VALUE at claim time which usually totals a 10 year old or older car. No company will pay dealer overhead, profits, reconditioning costs, etc. They ALL pay basically what your would sell it for as is in a private party sale. When I explain this to a customer I have had nobody complain that they were ripped off.
Frankly, IMO the best way to sell a used car is to "sell" it to an insurance company.
