Let the reviews speak for themselves! The several reviews that claim this company is "good and charitable" are obviously just trying to salvage a tainted reputation.

I received a bogus letter in the mail from this company saying I owed a debt of over $2,000. I called up the company and said verbatim," Yes ma'am, I received a letter from you guys in the mail stating I owe money and I'm not sure if it's a scam, or what?" Her stern response, "Ma'am, if you've received a letter from us, it is NOT a SCAM!!" Taken aback from her tone I responded "Uuumm...Okay...so what is this about?" She took my claim number and according to them I had stolen property from someone a few years ago and I had been arrested at the time for this criminal offense! Of course I laughed: I've never stolen anything in my life, nor have I ever been arrested! The operator seemed very frustrated with me after I said, "You've got the wrong person..." She kept repeating "You are ____, you live at ____, and your birthdate is ____?" I say "Yes, that's me, but this must be a case of stolen identity!" She then places me on hold without warning (rude) and comes back on the line a minute later and repeats the name of the defendant asking if I know him. I again tell her, no. Then she throws out another name. Again, someone I don't know. She then hangs up on me! No "thank you for your time..." or "I apologize for the confusion..." just an abrupt hangup!

Worried I might be a victim of identity theft, I immediately filed a complaint with the CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau) online. In response to above aforementioned complaint filed, Wilber & Associates stated: Our file is closed and her information has been removed from the claim. Still, no apology for their slanderous accusations!

In response to another review that gave this company 5 stars: People at (your) company may be "charitable people," but what good is that when you can't treat an innocent person with some respect? If this isn't a scam, this company deserves the boot.
