It's been almost a month since I bought my Prius 2014, and so far I have received excellent service from this centre from both Jeff, who is the Manager, and Preston Coward, the sales agent. To start off , not only did they have the specific color I was interested in, Preston, who helped me through the process was truly outstanding. He was careful about listening to my needs, understanding what features made me comfortable, and then gave me options accordingly. When I showed up three days later to get the truck they said that Toyota wouldn't honor one of the insentives and the price was now $1,000 more! They wouldn't honor the agreement so I left. We bought a new Highlander last night, so this is a preliminary review. Our salesman, Joseph was very green, but he was sweet, and tried hard. The sales mgr, Ray was great. We had an advertised price from a nearby dealer that looked almost too good to be true. Once Ray confirmed that it was in fact a real ad on a reputable site, he offered to match it. They really wanted to earn our business, and did so in the end. We paid cash for the vehicle, so financing was a breeze. Everyone was very professional, and most importantly, the Toyota Highlander XLT blew away the Nissan Murano Platinum and Honda Pilot EX-L in quality, comfort, technology, and overall driving (and riding) experience.
All in all, it was a great car buying experience.

Good prices, but THEY WILL LIE! (Salesman named OC). Yes, yes, I know that is not abnormal for a used car dealership, but in my case their willingness to purposely deceive me was appalling and therefore warrants a written warning in order that your experience might go better. Bottom line: do your research and do not trust their pricing or trade-in offer: verify every price or they will take advantage of you!
I was enroute to Florida with my four kids and just stopping by for an ad I saw online, 2011 LE sienna for 18,900 I explained that I could not stay long, but would give an quick offer and then work out a deal via phone on my way back home, if agreed upon I would turn around.
Drove on toward home and got a call saying deal was good. I clarified: "So we are looking at 18,500 out the door including leather minus whatever you give me on trade-in because I do not want to turn around if this deal is still in negotiation." Dealer: "yes he (manager) said we can work with those numbers." So I unpacked the family (not an easy task) and set them up for the night, then drove back. Even as I was in there working paperwork, they were saying, "yep done deal, congratulations." Then they brought out their "deal."
In short their magic numbers added up to me paying sticker price and giving them my car for free, nice trick! They took the sticker price jacked it up 3,500 added 500 worth of dealer fees and then subtracted my trade-in, 4000, which was 1000 less than any other offer I have received and 800 less than Blackbook. All this adding up to WTF! I have seen trickery like this before, but it was when bargaining with local Afghans near Kabul!
The dealer came out and said, "oh no this was a big misunderstanding (I love this word, you hear it a lot at this place), this is a great deal." Let me explain this great deal by showing the price I would get if I simply called and negotiated NOTHING using their pricing for leather and trade-in.
Sticker/internet price (18,900) + Leather (1,600) = 20,500 - trade-in (4,000) = 15,500
Their Deal: Price (21,500) + Fees (500) = 22,000 - trade-in (4,000) = 18,500
Difference between their deal and simply calling: 3,000, nice right!
So make sure you do your homework and verify everything before you take their word for it because at Toyota of Richardson their word amounts to a future misunderstanding!

Great customer service but was a bit disappointed when our vehicle was not ready when we got there. We dropped our car off at 9:30 am on Thursday and was given a rental car. We called to ask about the status of our vehicle later in the afternoon and left a voicemail. Kevin did call back and said our car would be ready by 5:00pm, but said if we didn't want to fight traffic we could get it tomorrow. So we said we would pick it up tomorrow morning. We were there about 9:30 am today and turned in our rental. I went to go get our vehicle and they called Kevin who informed us that our vehicle was not ready. He thought they had finished it yesterday but they had not. He said that they had to get the bubbles or something from the transmission out and let the fluid settle or something. Kevin was awesome and gave us a discount. I still did not like that it was not ready and that we had to still wait when they had our vehicle all day yesterday and should have been done by the time we picked it up this morning. I just know that if I had gone yesterday to go get it by 5pm and it was not ready I would be pretty upset. Other than that, kevin was great and did appreciate him reviewing the history with the car and making recommendations of what we may need. We are dropping our son off for college and want to make sure his car is in good shape.

They are not pushy. They don't mind doing only part of the service. No hard sales here. I usually pick and choose the things I believe are important for the car. This time I did the whole 90,000 mile service the car is running great still kicking. Oh and the shuttle service is free no matter the cost of your bill and the drivers are super patient as a couple of times I had them waiting because things were crazy at work but they didn't fuss and they said no problem I love this place.

I was sold service plan and when I went for first service I was told that it takes half a day to do oil change as they don't have Honda Pilot filter. Your company doesn't seem to care for customer issues. Please go through the email chain and let me know why you are not able to track my updates to Toyota Finance. Even though it's my primary concern, my whole car purchase experience with you guys is bitter. Below are the points of disappointment.
1. I wasn't offered test ride before buying the car. It was shown in dim light. (15-Feb-2014)
2. I wasn't explained on itemized pricing of different services added to my car. I was asked to sign electronically before seeing the overall price on paper.
3. Car wasn't ready as promised and there was 3 days delay
4. 4th day, I came to pick up and noticed that right headlight wasn't working and big scratch on the bumper
5. 6th day, headlight was fixed and scratch was covered up to some extent. No master key and I was given a duplicate key saying the previous owner didn't give them (I spent $150 at Honda to get master key)
6. 1st Apr I came to cancel the additional services and submitted the cancellation form. I was told that they will be updated to my account in a week or so.
7. 7th Apr I called Jared to find out why my account is not updated. He told it may take more than a week
8. Same week Jared told me that someone else from TOR will call me but they didn't. When I called for J**** again, somebody else told me that they just sent (after 2 weeks of my submission of the form) to Financing company.
9. From then on, I have been in touch with J*** but I don't see updates made to my account.

I have been a client for for years and I have recommended this dealer to my friends, most of the time they were nice and professional, but this time I m so disappointed and upset of their performance, to begin with I agreed to a sale price over their website, I showed up with my trade, they gave me a fair deal for it. The problem began when the salesman comes back from his manager with a different price, from the one agreed on, the salesman says oh we don t advertise our add ons, a 1500 dollars up over the agreed sale price, I had to make they split the difference for lying o the matter, which the agreed on.
When I finally got to the financial guy, I asked to have my trade paid to me and I will financed the rest, I even asked him how long will it take to get my cash back, he answer it takes 10 days to fund the loans pay my trade off , and get the title and then write a check to me, I even made sure to tell him to hold the check, because in my neighborhood we had had stolen mail lately, well it has been over 2 months and have not received my monies yet, I called just to find out, that they had dropped check on the mail to wait 7 to 10 days.
I will not ever buy from this people, an apology does not solves the problem, in my experience this was a disaster, NO I WILL NOT CONDONE THEIR UNPROFESSIONAL ACTS, I will no recommend future buyers, in fact I will not service my car with them, they are not worthy of my business or anyone s for the matter.
So if you think that with the pandemia you are going to buy a car online and they will have delivered to your driveway with the paperwork ready to sign, think twice, save a headache don t do it. After all of these years of buying cars, you d think that they will make the purchase of a car more pleasant, well you are wrong. I feel bad for the people who have less human abilities than me to negotiate a price, because finally this people are about the money and not the service they provide.

I was interested in purchasing a certified used car for my 16 yr old daughter. I came in to look at a 2011 Corolla I saw online that was priced competitively. Both Mario Arteaga and Mike Plazek were very informative and made sure I had all the comprehensive details in purchasing a certified used car, as I never bought a used car before. Once we made the decision to buy, Rey Reyas in finance made everything go smoothly.
During the sale, Mario, Mike and I were making plans to surprise my daughter, once she passed her drive test, after our vacation (Toyota held my car for a couple weeks).
On the day of the surprise, Mario and Mike worked above and beyond to make this birthday gift a special surprise! They detailed the car, packed the car full of balloons, put a sweet bow on the hood and hid the car behind a huge 4x4 truck in their warehouse! The setting was perfect and the surprise went off without a hitch She was over the moon ecstatic!!!

I first picked up a SUV and regretted my decision after the thought of monthly payments started sinking in....well!!!! I went back the third day to promptly return the purchase....to my surprise I was treated very well and the guys were very courteous. I picked up a smaller car which fit my budget and went back home happy. A shout out to the outstanding service we continue to receive from the Toyota of Richardson Service Dept. Been taking our Toyotas there since 2003 and that was the reason we purchased our 2019 RAV4 there...the knowledge that we would get exceptional service.
The RAV4 had minor issues but they have been taken care of. A software patch had to be installed for the transmission shifting (Aug 2019).
Currently there's a rattling sound that was diagnosed today as a sunroof problem. Will take it in next week for further analysis.
In all of this, working with Crystal has been a pleasure. She's competent and insures all issues are addressed.
Take your Toyota there for service and you will see the same.

I recently bought a 2015 Toyota Highlander from Toyota of Richardson and I must say this was the most transparent and pleasurable car buying experience I have ever had (this makes #50 for me so I'm no pushover.) Shawn Russell was my Salesman great guy ask for him he will treat you with respect and dignity and most importantly listen and fight for what you want. Jeff "The Yankee" was the manager great guy again , gave me a very fair offer on my trade and a great deal my wife's new car. Finally Glen McCain was my finance guy, I cannot say anything but incredible things about this man I was very difficult to work with intentionally to see how they would respond. The entire time he was nothing but respectfull and honorable in keeping his word. Not only would I recommend this dealership to all my friends and family but I highly doubt that I will ever buy a Toyota anywhere else . Your a fool to go elsewhere check these guys out first. And no I'm not being paid to do this and I do not work for them !

One of the best dealerships I have ever been to hands down, they worked so we with me and made sure I was satisfied and happy with everything, my experience was so good when I bought my first car today that I came back and bought another one for my daughter with a great deal!! The Worst customers service after buying a car from there !! When your shopping is the only time there nice after you leave with the car they don t care only about making money ! My wife had an scheduled appointment at @ 9:30 am for a oil change and took the shuttle to grab something to eat for my 3 year old daughter. The shuttle dis not come back to pick them up till after 1:30 pm . My wife called and called asking for the shuttle way earlier then that and the female who answered kept telling her it s on the way , keep In mind it s was only 5 minutes away while driving , yea she could ve walked back but it s been raining all day . This is for pre-owned. I really wanted to enjoy my time here, but this was one of my worst dealer experiences. Remember to include $1,700 in base, non-negotiable dealer fees when looking at the prices of vehicles here. $695 for make-ready and $1,000 in bringing it up to date on service (see below). The most I've ever seen at a dealer.
I came in to test drive a 2006 4WD 4Runner that they had just taken in, which are pretty hard to find. Nathan was very courteous and even put the truck up on the lift for me so I could check the undercarriage. The V8 needs a timing belt every 90k miles (Toyota recommended), and since this one was at 113k I let Nathan know that either they could replace the timing belt for me (cheap for them), or they could discount the car's price by $800 (estimated cost). He told me this shouldn't be a problem and wrote it in the agreement. He also said there was a 3 month bumper-to-bumper warranty with every used car. Both of these things were false - warranty is powertrain only, and I clarified with him several times.
Besides leaving close to a dozen voicemails over two days with no calls back, Nathan went out of town the next week. When I finally had time to go in I met with Aaron, who said they actually wouldn't do anything about the timing belt (despite them charging $1000 to 'service' the car, ok) and they wouldn't discount the car even a dollar from its listed price. Ok, fine. He checks again with the service tech and it turns out the timing belt was already replaced, but with a non-OEM timing belt and not by a mechanic.
I agreed to still buy the truck if I could get it inspected by a mechanic first, which they were happy to let me do. They called on Wednesday morning to let me know it was "ready for me to drive off with", and I swear they just ran it through a car wash and wiped down the dash with a rag. Crumbs all in the seat creases, steering wheel had layers of grime, and they had done zero paint touch ups even though that was written in the agreement. I'm not super picky on this stuff but it was honestly terrible. I ended up not buying it because of pervasive rust and the sketchy timing belt issue.
TL;DR
$1,700 in dealer fees gets you an exterior car wash and oil change. Impossible to get a hold of anyone. No interest in doing manufacturer-recommended service on a used Toyota before selling. Classic over-promise & under-deliver just like most dealers out there.

Had my vehicle in at the collision center for some repairs after getting rear ended in a random accident. My vehicle was at the shop for about 2 weeks. A little longer than expected, but ther service advisor that was in charge of my vehicle was always updating me on the status and giving me calls. When my vehicle was finally finished, they ended up discounting the parts cost for me as a courtesy. I highly appreciated that and I'll gladly come back to that dealership again for any other repairs. The staff there was also always super friendly and answered any questions I had. The only negative (if you even want to call it a negative), is that there was still one missing repair that was not done to bring my rear bumper the same state that it was before the accident. I was told to call in and bring my vehicle back in about a week to complete that missing work. I was told it would be a 30 min repair to complete that last work and that it would be included in what I already paid for, but I was left with that uncertainty. But, overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend anyone to come to this dealership for repairs.
