What a awesome experience I had here at Toyota of Richardson, my sales person James Weaver is amazing and all I can say is that he have went hard for me from the very first time I had called the dealership and the end results is that this girl have gotten approved and roiling off the lot with a car. I had an awesome experience at Toyota of Richardson. Tracy Brown was able to help me find an affordable, nice, luxury car. He was patient and honest with me while taking his time to show me ALL of the carfax without me having any prior knowledge of buying a car. I can appreciate the time and dedication he took to make sure that I was purchasing the right car to fit my financial needs. I had no intentions on buying a car when I arrived and I was definitely sold by the time I left! Thanks again to the Toyota team and most importantly Tracy Brown. GREAT SERVICE. I've been dealing with this Toyota for the past 4 years and I have never had a complaint everyone is honest and helpful and the service department is very fast when you go to have oil changes or more serious issues which I personally have never experienced.
*Updated as of today. My speaker stopped working and Doug was great with keeping me updated and made the process simple and super easy.

I had a fantastic experience buying my used car from Eduardo Varas. He is great all around and made my husband and I feel very comfortable. We came to Toyota of Richardson after finding a good deal on their website. Eduardo helped us before we even got to the door! Everything went as smooth as possible, from the test drive, to the financing! He even stayed late after the dealership closed to make sure our experience buying a car from him was as perfect as possible. I can not say enough good things about Eduardo and the rest of the Toyota of Richardson staff. We are very happy and we definitely recommend Eduardo and Toyota of Richardson! Attempted to buy a preowned vehicle but had no luck. Place is a step out of the 1970 s. Made a very fair offer, they rejected my offer came back with asking price plus a $1600 dealership prep fee plus tt&l. Watch your paper work closely if you buy here. They later agreed to drop the $1600 fee but would not move on the price of the car. Month later they still have the car. I found it easier to fly to Houston and drive back in a purchased car than buy the car close to my home.

Terrible service department. I wasted 2 days coming here and never got my certified vehicle serviced. I got 2 different answers from 2 different guys, it's beyond frustrating.
I called another Toyota and they said they'd take care of it with no inconvenience to me, which just proves this Toyota was lying. I won't be back nor recommend this place to anyone.

Aaron Tunnell was my salesman and I absolutely love his work ethic he is a person who loves what he does and doesn t just push you into a car he helped me get the Camry I always wanted ! He was a real life savior the finance company is amazing as well they all work as a team to make the customer happy and that is what makes a dealership successful ! I caution anyone finding marketplace ads for this ...

I caution anyone finding marketplace ads for this dealership. Apparently someone is publishing false ads unknown to management. I saw such an ad and couldnt discuss it with anyone as it was Sunday. I drove 90 miles and spent the night so to be able to see the vehicle on Monday morning. I received a call from Chad at 7:55am and made an appt to come see it. When i arrived Chad informed me that his later appt had come in early but he would find someone to help me. I was escorted to the shop and shown the vehicle in question which was nowhere near the vehicle in the ad. After discussing it with a sales manager i was shown a much newer more expensive vehicle. They were going to help me out but showed me full list price plus $5000 in other products. I was assured this was not a dealer ad I had seen but it did have their logo etc on it. Please be careful that you do not fall for the same mistaken advertising. Go to their website to confirm anything else you may see.

I love this place. I hate buying a car, but with a team effort, they made it so easy to get me what I think was a fair price. I feel like I made a bunch of new friends. Not too pushy, made it a pleasant experience. They went out of their way to get the car I wanted from another dealer. I already love the service department, especially Manny, and I want to give a shout out to the new car staff: Ben, who sold me my first car and is now a finance guy over my 3rd toyota from there,as well as Babs, Bruce, Jonathon, Chase, and Shawn. Highly recommend this place.

I waited a while to write this review to decide if I really wanted to give this place 1 star.

And the bottom line is - yes. I do. I went in for an oil change and brake job for my 2012 Tacoma. Check in was easy and my service guy was kind.

About an hour after I dropped it off, I got a call saying that my Valve gasket cover was leaking. They recommended changing it, as well as the spark plugs because oil might have seeped in the plugs. Cost: $500.

I told my service technician that was not possible today because I was already paying for a brake job and an oil change. When I arrived, I received the invoice with all the recommended fixes - to a tune of nearly $1,000. I paid my bill and left.

I decided to take my truck to another shop to check my valve gasket cover. And guess what. No leak. None. Zero. The guy who worked on my car had lied. I called Toyota and spoke with James, the service department manager. He told me to go ahead and bring it in to show him there was no leak. A few days later, I did. I know James thought I was not telling the truth, but as soon as I popped my hood and showed him the invoice, his face showed it all. There was nothing he could say - his guy lied, and lied really badly. He apologized and offered to refund me my brake job. I accepted.

Why only one star if James made it right?? Because I have a grandmother who would have spent the $500 for that lying sleeze ball service guy. STOP trying to take advantage of people - and if you do go here, get a second opinion and post your review. It's the only way to make sure they stop this shady practice.

I bought a Toyota Tundra from Omar Abu-Sherbi, he was fast, efficient and really made the whole car buying experience great.

He pointed out difference in double cab and crew max features and made sure I got the truck with everything I wanted and more! With an even better price. He made me feel so special.

IT FELT LIKE WE WERE DATING. The buying experience sent a tingling sensation to my loins.

That is how close and intimate car buying experiences are with Omar.

I will buy all my cars through him, they also have a great financing department. Omar made sure I was always in the loop and wasn't being overcharged.

I have purchased 5 cars from Toyota of Richardson I have worked with Cesar and Ali in pre-owned they have provided excellent service and always go the extra mile. I also have worked with Terry and Walee (sorry if I spelled your name wrong lol) in New Purchase; Moe and Jordan in Finance they are all the best of the best. If you are looking for a reliable vehicle and reasonable prices, Toyota of Richardson is the place to go... The best part of the experience is the personal relationship with the sale people. Very professional and positive experience. They are with the customer through good and bad times. Completely satisfied with the experience about used car deal. Signed a contract on a condition. Took the car to inspection and after inspection returned the car after 5 days. No questions asked and they did not even took a penny from me till the inspection results were out. Shout out to my master salesman Drew C. This gentleman is a true professional when it comes to auto sales. He didn't give me any crazy pressure pitches and followed up when it counted. I enjoyed his great product expertise and he was incredibly helpful with the research phases of my shopping. I recommend anyone shopping for a Toyota to look him up before going anywhere else.

I don't write many reviews, but I felt compelled to based on my experience last night. I dealt mainly with 3 individuals - Omar and Joe in sales and Nick in finance. Omar and Nick earned 5 stars from me. The most significant thing that stood out about Omar was that I believed he was sincere and genuine in what he told me. I didn't get the "car salesman" vibe from him. He was attentive and seemed to care if I got the car I wanted. Nick in finance was the same way. He worked out a better deal for me than I even expected when I was transferred from sales to finance. He was personable, kind, and hardworking. He didn't go back and forth several times to create some kind of tension to get me to sign. We talked once; he left; and came back with a better deal than I expected, so I signed and was out right after.

My experience with Joe in sales was less than pleasant, however. I was initially offered 18% on my car. I said I had been offered 12-14% everywhere else and 18% was ridiculous. Immediately, they lowered it to 14%, which means there was no reason it ever should have been 18%. Then, they added a bunch of line items that weren't necessary, explaining it away with a bunch of dishonesty when I pointed it out. I told them I would pay the price listed on the site or they would lose my business. (To clarify, I obviously wasn't upset about sales tax or title fees being added to the list price- those I, of course, expected). When I told Joe I would pay the list price and not the extra $1k they didn't disclose on the website, or on the phone when I talked about the car before coming in, he began discussing "bank fees" I would have to pay when they submitted my app for approval. This is a fee literally no one charges, and I've never heard of. He was condescending and said "bank fees can be complicated," as if my small 29 year old female mind wouldn't be able to handle it. However, I've worked in the industry, so I knew it was made up. The men in finance also confirmed they don't charge bank fees as described by Joe, and said he had no idea why that would have been told to me. I spent 3 hours waiting around in sales for Joe to give me the deal I was told I'd get before coming in, and less than an hour with Nick in finance.

Overall, I left the dealership after 4 hours with the car I wanted, at a very fair price. I'd recommend working with Omar and Nick every day. Omar even helped me transfer my things from my old car to my new one- at 9pm. I feel confident I got a good deal, but I felt Joe and whoever the "desk manager" he kept referring to were totally trying to take me for a ride. As a young woman, I already feel like I'm seen as an easy target at dealerships, and that was exactly how I was treated by the sales team (aside from Omar).

After some confusion on my part, about the shuttle. Jonathon from the dealership and the G.M. Brad Clark, have now made sweeping changes to update the customer experience to more reflect the changing needs of the consumer.
I am certain they will continue to be a leader in the Toyota products in the DFW market.

Hi everyone I am writing this rewiew because for the future buyers from this dealership,how they rip off the money from you. They treat you like a king soon as you get to see them. But they try to confuse you as much as they can. At the same time they keep you telling they are going to get you a vehicle of your choice but problem is your credit score is not so good. They are doing there best to get to a banker who can finance your vehicle. Then comes the finance officer who gives you certain offers and tells you to sign some bogus contracts to rip off your hard earned money they sold me maintenance contracts for oil change for 837$ which he told me is for two years I thought it is good deal and without it the bank will not approve my transaction I said its OK then he sold me another service contract for 2036$,then he sold me a gap insurance for 201$,then accident & health insurance for 626$ then single credit life for 256$ adding about 4000$ to my vehicle price that's how they rip off the money from you. So be very carefully while buying a vehicle from this dealership.

Dont not go to this dealer bad place to buy car or parts. It was first time going there and it was my last going there. I bought a part it did not work possibly defective part. I tried to return but they refused to refund me or exchange for it. They even refused to tested to see if it defective. They say all their parts are good and they don't have any defective parts. That was a perfect lie. Even brand new parts come defective sometimes. They got zero customer service experience They deal with customers like customer work for them. They think they pay customers not customers pay them . Would never recommend this dealer to any one especially if u buy parts u wont get refunded or exchange nothing. Would recommend Toyota of plano for buying cars or parts anything. They take great care of customers.I bought one car and i am planning to buy another one from toyota of plano..

Seems like customer service went the window once they were paid & the deal was done.
They were nice and friendly until the moment the deal was done .
Bought a truck, check engine light came on before i even made it home.
I was told it would be cleaned and filled up amongst a couple other things ....nope.
I expect this from crasigslist or offer up, not from a big reputable company!
I feel like I was SCAMMED. I dont recommend !!!

The one time I had my wife take my 4Runner in for service they try to hit her with $3300 in reccommended repairs. I brought it back same day same advisor who put the car on the lift to inspect these specific items (drive belt, timing chain, water pump) and agreed nothing was actually wrong when we looked at it together. This is after she waited 3.5 hours for an oil change we had an appointment for. Meanwhile, two different new car salesmen are calling my wife suggesting she come trade it in on a new car. So, they write inflated service tickets for issues that don't exist to try to push you into a new car purchase. Unreal. Never going back to see these failed con artists.

My husband and I arrived at Toyota of Richardson at 5pm and were home (26 miles away) by 7:30 with a new car. That included looking at the inventory, test driving, and financing. The first person to help us was our salesman, Tyler McLoughlin. He showed us the inventory and was very helpful in getting the ball rolling. Tyler knew what he was doing and was part of the reason we were able to drive home in our newly purchased vehicle immediately. Our finance person, Sam Karr, also did an amazing job for us (which I was not expecting)! The time spent with Mr. Karr was very pleasant and he gave us a great deal. Thank you, Sam! This was our second time using Toyota of Richardson and we will be back.
