Booked Hollywood Beach Resort thru Tourico Holidays. Got off our cruise in morning and went straight to the hotel. Ended up downstairs with lots of heavy luggage. My wife is handicapped. Security wouldn't let me use the luggage cart until I checked in so left my wife downstairs with luggage. Went to check in counter and waited a full 15-minutes for check in clerk to get off the phone. He wouldn't check me in because if was too early. Went back down stairs to get luggage and store it. I took me 20-minutes waiting on the one slow operable elevator than was jammed pack with people. This hotel has 400 rooms and four elevators of which one rickety elevator that worked. (I wondered what the fire marshal would have said about that!) Overall you could see this hotel had lots of deferred maintenance. It finally dawned on me that this hotel was not going work for us particularly with my wife's condition. I could have seen us trying to catch a shuttle to the airport on time the next morning. It wasn't going to happen. I demanded a refund and eventually received it. In the meantime I had to scramble and book another hotel and pay another cab ride to the new hotel. I am now out $108.00. I asked to be compensated but was brushed off by the Tour company. I would not recommend this hotel or doing business with Tourico Holidays to anyone.
