The Skinny Review

Anyone wishing to purchase on this site be very careful.. l subscribed without knowing it and they have sent the same order over and over again I have received two this week .. I had to cancel them from my bank .. but not before I got scammed for about 4 different orders I did not want .. there Facebook messages and email is all automated and there is no phone number .. it is not easy to unsubscribeonce you have done so .. this what I ended up months supply of stuff total scam

First order didn't go to plan but that was not Skinny foods fault, it was Royal Mails fault. Customer service was great, quick response and refunded me.
Received the second order very quickly and the sauces are OK, they do taste like zero calories sauces (as expected) but still nicer then other low calorie sauces.

Fabulous taste, perfect to add in my porridge or even a coffee. The taste are great, custard with my sugar free free is great on a diet with zero calories

Me and my family absolutely love these products, as a family who have completely cut out sugar these really get us through without feeling like were missing out. I dont feel guilty giving my young daughter chocolate spread in her toast! We also love lashings of their savoury sauces (because we can). Cannot wait to try some of their new products that are on there way. Excellent delivery and service always. I wouldn't be without this company.

The whole process from ordering through to delivery was seamless and very professional.

Like other people on here don t be conned into the subscription. I am going to bring this up with Martin Lewis and watch dog. If you don t realise you have signed up to a subscription you should be able to send the items back and get your money back. But this company just seem to want to take your money and give nothing in the way of customer service back. I m absolutely disgusted and will never buy from this company again! The products taste awful as well.

Great flavour matches, and the range of jams are really full of flavour! Personal favourites I d recommend are the custard, golden syrup, chip shop curry sauce, sticky toffee pudding, peri peri and all the jams

I love this company! I firstly ordered the mystery bundle and loved every product! Especially the salted caramel syrup. I was lucky enough to win the bakery collection in a competition too and I love how I can use the syrups on pancakes. I can t wait to order even more products. Perfect for anyone on a slimming journey or just want something a little lower in calories. The customer service is brilliant too. 100 % recommend x

This company steal your money, they automatically set a subscription for your orders and generate automated new orders the following week for the same products!! Of course they don t refund your money and you have to pay the costs of the mail. Please do not give a penny to this company.

Fantastic products and such a wide choice from syrups and sources to chocs and other snacks. Nice and fast delivery. Very happy and defo be buying more bits

The sauces and syrups are almost unbelievable. Usually mention 'chocolate' and 'low/no calorie' in the same sentence will usually have a response of 'wishful thinking' , it is almost as though the skinny food company has done the impossible.
I also like the coffee creamers, both for their intended purpose, and also on fruit as a low-cal alternative to single cream [original and vanilla flavours].

Excellent products and brilliant service !! This site has helped me stick to my diet and makes my food taste absolutely delicious, love the creamers as well.

After taking 5 payments out for 1 order I cancelled it with my bank and then they changed their company name or how ever they do it to KEEP TAKING MY MONEY. I even changed my card and they still managing too! What a scam and disgusting people to do that. I ve seen it happen to loads of people PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST. I asked for a refund and they still haven t. I never signed up for any subscription I don t even have an account. I will be reporting this company to the government .

Brilliant company, gorgeous syrups and scrumptious sauces!! All without the guilt may I add! For a reasonable price it's a revelation!

Ordered recently, got myself a selection of Skinny Sauces, the smoky BBQ one is the best, tastes good, only criticism is they re a bit runny I was slightly disappointed with the mayonnaise, it does taste like it but it s very runny in comparison to full fat mayo, you can t really dip things in it but on the other hand there s hardly any calories in it! The skinny syrups are good I tried the cherry one on some protein ice cream and it goes together well!

Super nice Low Sugar Raspberry Jam, Zero Calorie Salted Caramel and Maple Syrup.
They also had a great offer on their website for Oatein Hype bars: best ones ever!
I definitely recommend it. :)

HIDDEN SUBSCRIPTION SCAM - BEWARE !!
We ordered some stuff on a 48 hour delivery service which came 2 weeks later and without the free gift. Then found out we'd somehow activated a weekly subscription service - only by checking the credit card balance as the 2nd and 3rd lots never arrived. No idea we'd signed up to this!! Must be some hidden wording in the website. What a scam outfit!!

I have ordered 3 times and I am very happy with my purchases. Also they are helping to lose weight with SlimmingWorld.

I have been buying these products for a while and have had no issues. The products are brilliant, however, the "customer service" is diabolical. I placed an order 2 weeks ago which still hasn't arrived, I have been fobbed off at every opportunity and ignored by their "customer support" team. I resorted to commenting on Facebook posts to get a response and they just remove my comments. Absolutely disgusting.

Brilliant for diabetics and people trying to have a calorie deficit, it tastes just like any normal sauce would, better even, no fat, sugar or calories, magical.

Fantastic spreads that taste amazing . I have tried many different products from the Skinny Food Company and have never been disappointed . They are much healthier than similar items and tastier ! I would thoroughly recommend their products .

I was bought a bottle of your skinny chocolate spread and loved it. In fact when it ran out I wanted to replace it so I went to your web site. Great site and great selection so not only did I order the skinny chocolate spread but also some jams too. Delighted by the process, ease of ordering and even better no delivery charge for which full marks!!!!!! I intend to become a regular customer.

Subscription by stealth. Left a very bad bitter taste, misleading and zero customer service, zero stars.

The website is difficult to negotiate on a phone due to banners. Most items are out of stock and hard to pick items to gain free delivery total. I was buying a gift and not interested in regular deliveries and tried to make a quick purchase. When scrolling down the subscribe (weekly!!!) order has defaulted in and you can t see it; looks like add to cart.

No order acknowledgement received to even hint at signing up for a weekly subscription of a product you haven't even tried. You have to read reviews on Fb to then send a correctly headed email to find out that:
1. Creating an account is optional at point of ordering.
2. Creating an account is mandatory if you want to see what you have been charged/what the order status is and how often you will be charged (for items not even despatched).
3. When you create an account to cancel the subscription it seems you already have an account and your bank has been debited with the initial order and the weekly repeat order(s).
4. You can't cancel any orders, even when not yet despatched.
5. No cooling off period - or option to reclaim your money back within 14 days.
6. This dreadful company has all your details.

I didn't receive an initial order or email to indicate I had picked the reduced item/subscription price. This would have highlighted the issue. I gave up and ordered elsewhere for the gift and boy have I regretted ever logging into this site.

I then watched Fb and posts from unhappy customers mentioning they felt scammed, let down, confused, angry and when I added a post it was deleted along with the other posts. I have screenshots.

It is clear from a quick look at Google and Trust Pilot reviews that I'm not alone.

A disgusting way to operate and treat hard working people. What a waste of time for us, Trading Standards and bank officials who are all now involved - at a time where resources and time are precious.

A week on, no initial order but bank debited twice without authorisation.

I have tried the chocolate syrup, the salted caramel syrup and the chocolate spread. All are lovely tasting. I put the choc syrup in coffee to make a mocha and it's great. The choc spread is divine on toast. Reasonable delivery time with current situation. Have purchased twice now. Lovely stuff!

Skinny foods products are so useful in trying to lose weight and eating palatable food. All the products are great for making amazingly tasty breakfasts, especially as I am intolerant of lactose and gluten (and need something to put on my fruit and gluten free granola),. The only complaint I have, and it's a very small one, is that the tomato ketchup and the mayonnaise are so sweet, but that is a taste preference. So, WELL DONE Skinny Foods, and keep up the good work.

Since the Skinny Food Co took down my first review i have had to put it up again, summarised. This is a objective and honest review, you should listen to this free feedback

-Website bombards you with popups, gimmicks and marketing which actually pushes the customer away.
-Forced subscription, by default every customer is automatically subscribed and repeat orders processed unless specifically deactivated somewhere in the purchase screen
-Customer service is slow to respond and orders cannot be cancelled after placing even if you contact CS less than 5 minutes after placing.

The wrong order was sent initially but it was
fine I kept what was sent. Another order confirmation came through that I didn't place!!!! How have they used my card details again?!!!!!

We have been using skinny food for a while now and it isn't just the sauces which are both healthy and tasty, they have an amazing range of other products and as we both are members of slimming world we find them ideal for adding a little something.
They are very efficient with the delivery and we usually only have to wait a few days for the goods to arrive.
We will definitely continue to use The Skinny Food Co

I have shopped from this company more than 10 times and I will continue to do so. All the products are amazing.

I've ordered multiple times now and never been disappointed.. I'm trying to significantly reduce my sugar intake and their products have really helped! I love the sugar free salted caramel syrup , crunchy peanut butter, chocolate spread and spices .. I would totally recommend these products.

Great sugar free items. I have only tried the syrups but find them really nice. Favourite being the Salted Caramel one. Delivery is quick and ordering is hassle free!

Love Skinny stuff; it is great for me teetering on the edge of diabetes. Currently eating chipotle spice all over sliced tomato and cucumber. Yum

Ive ordered from here twice. Second order had a problem (spilt jam), i contacted the conpany and after sending photos in an email problem was solved and a replacement sent. The blackcurrant jam is delicious as are the chocolate spreads. Now i can eat my cravings without the guilt, thank you

Shocking service. Ordered 9 items and only 3 showed up. Tracking and shipping said all had been delivered. No chance could they have missed it as one of the items missing was a box of 12 bars! And the box I recieved was too small to fit any of it in.
Have emailed customer service before you suggest that and am still waiting for a response. Asked to send over order number and various pictures of packaging, packaging slip, items delivered, confirm address etc etc. Have done all of this and still heard nothing.

I'm writing this in hope someone doesn't get conned like me.

Great company really good products and excellent customer service.

I love SFC products especially the flavoured coffees, spreads & syrups. My faves are the Cookie Dough coffee, Maple Syrup and chocolate hazelnut spread.just as yummy without all the sugar found in store brands. I ve rarely had any mix ups with my orders but when I did, it was easy to bring it up their attention and they re very quickly rectified which was great!

Please be careful when purchasing the Chocolate Hazelnut Spread.
It has a laxative affect.
It should be stated more clearly on the packaging.
This could potentially make people with intestinal issues very ill.
I do not recommend this company.

The products are amazing - especially the chocolate spreads, hazelnut coffee and maple syrup. Great for low calorie alternatives. The reason I couldn t give 5 stars is because the delivery was so slow (took around 4 weeks) and I had to keep chasing them to ask where it was, was told to wait and it should arrive (even though when I tried to track it, the Royal Mail site said they couldn t find it), and then eventually they sent me another.

Everything has an awful aftertaste due to the amount of artificial sweeteners in the products. They can also make you extremely bloated and not feeling very well. Will never buy again. So disappointed

I ordered 4 different syrups and sauces, only 3 was in the delivery. After many emails backwards and forwards this is still not sorted, just as you think your getting somewhere a different person replies and takes it back to the beginning. Luckily I paid by PayPal so I am awaiting them to sort my refund out.

SHOCKING customer service with no contact number to talk to anyone!!! 1 star is to many for the way they treat customers, I know will get the standard please email customer services reply from this review, which I have done 8 times already!

1st time I've ordered from here.
I did not realise that I subscribed to the monthly subscription.
1st order came quickly, then I saw that they took another payment and my son said you've subscribed.
2nd purchase did not come and after emailing them they kept saying wait another 10 days.
Time was going on and still nothing.
It gets me annoyed because they are quick to see payment and they are quite local to me.
So after more emails I got a refund, I did not really want to do that because my lads love the syrups.
I will not be ordering anything ever again from skinny food..
I feel they will lose business because they do not seem very promising and professional.....

I first ordered the flavoured coffee syrups for my diabetic husband who loves them and they work out cheaper per 100ml than similar products. My daughter has also placed a number of orders trying many products. I can honestly say we have loved everything we have tried and had no issues with delivery or customer service.

Absolutely horrendous service. Ordered goods to the value of 25.95, order number 332670. On arrival the peanut butter was smashed open destroying the entire contents. The box was soggy and as this was bought as a gift, the items inside were destroyed. When customer service was contacted about this, was offered a refund for the peanut butter to the value of 3.99. Explained the other goods had been destroyed, which was clear from the pictures that were sent. No offer of a refund or duplicate order to be sent, despite the condition the order arrived in. Was told the food would still be good, despite the packaging being absolutely destroyed. I would be expected to get destroyed myself attempting to clean everything because of the poor packaging of your products. How long do you think that would take, and then to try to pass it of as a gift is simply unacceptable. do not want to see a public response to contact your customer service again because of the one star review. You have my order number and can contact me if you value new customers and want to make amends for the absolutely horrendous service I have experienced so far by either sending the order again or offering a full refund. It would not be acceptable to sell goods of the shelf if they were covered in peanut butter, and people would certainly not buy them so to have them arrive in this condition and be expected to accept it is unacceptable.

*updated after the response from owner..... you are happy that you "resolved" this by refunding 3.99 for the peanut butter and nothing else for the box of destroyed stock I received, but I am certainly not. Clearly a blatant lie, as this has not been resolved. Hopefully everyone will see how little you value your customers and AVOID

Even though I really love some of your products, I'm extremely disappointed in you as a company. Creating an automatic subscription and not notifying a customer about it is just awful and you should be ashamed. I only realised what's going on by accident, going through my bank statements and seeing money has been deducted from my account, and I didn't place any new orders. Taking my money without my consent is called stealing and I'm thinking of reporting you. And please, don't even bother writing a generic apology, I already know you don't really care.

Terrible customer service. I ordered quite a few items to be delivered to Europe, I waiting patiently for nearly 3 weeks. One day the tracking information said it had been delivered, well it hadn't, as I work from home I could not have missed it. I contacted their "customer service department" (it's a joke of a department) and I was told I had to call the royal mail to get a reference to prove that my package was lost before they could do anything. I spent an hour waiting to contact Royal Mail for them to tell me their contact is with the sender and the sender had to be make the claim. I reported this back to "customer service" and I was told that there was nothing they could do as this was company policy?!?! This is the 1st time that I have had to chase the courier service when I have bought something. Avoid ordering from here

Can only say how much I like this company. Have bought from them for quite some time and tried out most of there product and went back and reordered as they are so tasty and keep me on track with my diet.

I now have a cupboard full of skinny food sauces and syrups as they are a delicious alternative with either zero or very low calories I would certainly recommend these to everyone, not just those looking to lose weight but as healthy option

Really disappointed, I orded on the 22nd January and still have not received anything yet, I've emailed and got an automated response, they apparently only have 16 full time workers, I advise they get more, even being really busy, if they want to be a big company and cant handle the work load they need to revise their plan, I will definitely not be ordering from here again which is a shame as I was planning on ordering bucket loads, if I dont recieve it this week I'm hoping I will get a refund as they cant treat their customers like this.

Been using skinny food for well over a year now and I love them! So much choice and always sauces have been my downfall when dieting 100% recommend them to anybody good value, good customer service, fast delivery and a massive amount of choice

Customer service is absolutley shocking, products are vile chemically tasting slop, orders take forever to come and when they do they're packed so carelessley. Dont waste your money on this garbage.

Placed my first order which took weeks to arrive. Complained and was told the excuse that the are a little company and are battling to cope with the volume of orders. Finally arrived and was sent a discount code for my next order when used on my next order did not work but the order was taken. I emailed them numerous times to cancel but they took the money and do not respond to any of my email. Do not trust this company.

DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY.

The worst company I have ever come across. Their customer service is shocking. They use an external website to process their orders, they accessed my account and payment details without asking for permission. If you are familiar with the website shopify they normally send you a security text to access your details but Skinny Food didn t do this. When entering a discount code it automatically processed my order without my consent, and funnily enough didn t even take the discount off. Within minutes of this happening I contacted them to cancel it as it hadn t given me chance to update my details and I no longer lived at the address. They said there was nothing they could do because the order had been processed but yet I didn t receive the dispatched email until 5 days later so obviously they could have cancelled it. I have been speaking to them for 5 weeks now to sort it out, and they haven t done anything. Constantly telling me they ve sent me emails to sort it out which obviously they haven t because they don t understand what good customer service is. Customer Service Manager Chloe - said she ll resolve the issue and just said sorry for the inconvenience and now isn t willing to put her words into action. They are a money grabbing business, would not recommend anyone to shop with them.

I ordered some sample sauces and syrups.

They were honestly not good at all with a lack of taste and texture.

I would not recommend this however if you would like to try for yourself .. definitely start by getting the sample packets and see for yourself.

You're better off purchasing lower calorie sauces from the super market and watching your calorie intake.

Love the Skinny co pancake mix and with being on slimming world and them only being 1syn each it's fab (makes 10 pancakes per pack) All the family love them with the Skinny co syrups. I have tried a lot of the syrups and sauces and haven't found one I don't like.
I must say i love the the blue raspberry flavouring. I add it to some lemonade and ice and it tastes amazing. you can also use it as an ice lolly flavour when making your own same as a slushy.
It's ice to have a range I can have on slimming world and only have to use ma small amount of my daily syns.
I will be using again to buy more goodies :)

Love these products, particularly the syrups and flavour drops, some of the sauces are a bit too sweet for me but everyones taste is different. Website sometimes slow but a bit of patience gets you there in the end.

I order from Skinny Food Co nearly every month and I ve only ever had one problem which was very quickly sorted out by their really helpful customer service. I ve been using the products properly since January 2020 when I started my weight loss journey and I am pleased to say I ve lost 3 and half stone to date. Skinny Food Co products add excitement to my meals without adding the calories. The Salted Caramel, Maple Syrup , Golden Syrup are among my favourites. I recommend the Skinny Food Co products for anyone who is like myself, on a journey and who wants to make their food more interesting

Bought sugar free vanilla syrup from these guys. When I opened the Jiffy bag a plume of dust came out, the protective layer in the Jiffy bag had disintegrated presumably due to age? Anyway, I got the syrups out and there were a few ants which I didn t think too much about as they were on the outside of the bottles and it is syrup, plus I wasn t sure if they were from the inside of the old disintegrated Jiffy bag. When I tried the syrup it wasn t good, tastes very artificial - I bought it for coffee which people had recommended but it didn t go at all. A few days later I had quite a few ants in my apartment, as I live on the sixth floor this is not something I have ever experienced before and realised it must have been because of the packaging from the syrup so I wrote to them to complain. The girl Chloe was very defensive and dismissive, saying many people enjoy their syrups and nobody had ever complained about the things I had, almost insinuating I was lying. As a result I ve given up but thought it would be worth giving everyone else a heads up.

Great company. There website is so clear and easy to use, I like how it gives you suggestions as well. I was recommended this and just so happens the day I went on they had a great offer for delivery for over a ten pound spend. There garlic and herb sauce is to die for and hasbarely any calories! Since I've discovered the Skinny Food Co my breakfasts are amazing every single day - I've got an array of different flavours and I adore them all. The syrups and spreads are just so diverse you can use them in all sorts of ways - in porridge and cereal, on pancakes and waffles and to make cakes and cookies. Best of all they are practically zero calories so just perfect for those who are watching their waistline!

Fantastic products tried the sauces which are sweet and great for flavouring Greek yogurt. Can use them on ice cream. The coffee flavourings are lovely. Coffee is nice and sweetened. Use the mayonaise and very light. Products are suitable for slimming world diet.

Avoid this company! Their customer services is appalling! I was sent a repeat order which I didnt opt for and charged. When I emailed them about this my query was ignored and was sent a standard email on how to unsubscribe twice by two different people...I'm still waiting for my 3rd email to be answered..not holding my breath...This company is a joke!!

Their products are full of known carcinogens such as titanium dioxide which has been banned in numerous places such as California and France.

Absolutely love their sauces. Garlic mayo is my favourite but I also love the chocolate syrups. I think the taste is very very good considering there 0cal.

The skinny food products are really tasty and I love the extra benefit it's without kcal. I like the instant coffe, and the absolutely favourite is the salted caramel syrup and the vanilla one.

Wow i order from here now regularly. I love the sauces they are so tasty. And the jams well what can i say lush. The creamers are lovely in my coffee,and seem like a real treat, the egg replacer is great for me to as i am allergic to eggs ,they are really helping with my new eating plan, the service is great,well packed and fast delivery.

Ordered 9 days ago and the products havent arrived. I contacted them 2 days ago and was told they didnt know when they will get to it as there busy. Asked to cancel order and they refuse to let me. Do not buy from them.

Fantastic! The sauces taste amazing and really help keep the calories low but the flavour up!
The chocolate spread is superb and the little extra nibbles etc help keep me on track!

Take money from your bank account without agreement. Scamming company, avoid at all costs. Not ethical, not moral, ensure you read all the reviews on google prior to giving this coming your credit card details!!! AVOID!

Dodgy company. When you order something they sign you up for a subscription without making it clear what they're doing, then just keep billing you and sending stuff until you create an account and cancel the subscription.

Terrible customer service, this seems to be a key theme. I still have the wrong products they refuse to send the correct products. Want me to go to the PO in lockdown whilst I m a vulnerable person due to illness!! Shocking, terrible and has been an upsetting experience all round. Oh and the products are higher in fat and calories than generic products.

Enjoyed my first order of skinny syrups and am now awaiting my second order of chocolate spreads. With free offers added to my order this is good value even with the postage cost.
