If parking space is such a huge issue to your engineer then please specify when I make the booking. I take annual leave to stay in the house to wait for the engineer and being left with frustration. The company cannot just be can indecisive and changes their mind every half hour or so.
Thank God my neighbour called in a plumber today too so I use an alternative company instead.

I made an enquiry into using your urgent drainage blockage service. The lady was polite, slightly evasive, but none the less booked an appointment within 90 minutes requesting my card details which I provided. Since this was urgent I assumed a prompt service. I received a response phone call from another, less pleasant lady at 724pm stating that the plumber had clocked off and would not be doing any more work tonight. I inquired why and received an unsatisfactory answer,made in an aggressive tone stating go somewhere else and then put the phone down. Customer service I don't think. What a disgrace. I hope she gets sacked
I contacted this company because they offered robust solutions to pest control for mice.
All they did was put some poison down. The treatment didn't work. They Said the mice may have Come in through the front door. We later found an entry point and blocked it. As the problem got worse I had to spend more money to address the issue. ( stick pads work) The pest control manager is refusing to refund any money. She is unreasonable, rude and abrupt. Don't use this service!
Efficient service, very helpful call centre, contacted my tenant swiftly, arranged access directly and fixed the job with no additional costs. 2nd time of using them and will be recommending them to my company (I m an estate agent) and have them top of my list for the future.
I used their drain clearance service to unblock a bath drain in an apartment in Leeds.

A courteous person arrived, well within the time slot, I was 'phoned prior to the visit to check that I was expecting someone and to give a more precise time of arrival.
The person took their boots off before entering and without being asked! Went straight to work after explaining what was going to happen.
The job took about 40 mins, no mess was made.

Called to get a quote and some advise in regards to pest control. Spoke to a Rachel who not only was unhelpful, she came across really condescending and patronising. Rachel was the sole reason I decided not to go with this company even though I was in an emergency situation - she was that bad. I think re-training for your staff is necessary, especially the staff who pick up calls as they're the first impression of a company for first time customers.

We had an issue with a broken window. We ended up having to make multiple calls, we're promised callbacks and emails which never happen. Always an excuse as to why we weren't receiving emails/calls. We made it clear on Tuesday that it was an emergency and by Friday afternoon we had enough of the poor service and non response so spoke to management and cancelled the request. Would not recommend the service of business to anyone.

Unfortunately i cannot give zero starts otherwise i would do. In 15 years at my current address i've have an issue with the drains once, on this occasion i instructed the Able Group to clean the drains. The engineer arrived swiftly and cleared the blockage, or so i thought. a week later the drains were again blocked, i contacted their customer services to be told that i would be charged again for them to be cleared. Charged again for not doing the job fully in the first place??? Safe to say i didn't have them back and instructed DynoRod to complete the job.

The tap in our ensuite bathroom sprung a leak, soaked through the ceiling. I called Able at about 8am just after it happened. Office staff very polite and friendly. Said they would get a plumber out between 9am and 2pm so I took the day off work. They rang around 10am to say the plumber would come between 3pm and 5pm. Then at 3.45pm I got a call to say the plumber can't make it today. So I'm feeling pretty angry having sat in all day with no water and now I have had to spend more money on an emergency plumber because it's so late in the day. I never write reviews but I'm so p****ed off I have to vent my anger!!!
Cancelled twice on the day and inflexible with rescheduling.
This company stood me up twice, now I m in a very difficult situation because I trusted them when they said they will be showing up to my house. If you need something done timely I would avoid them. I called them the date before to confirm they will be showing up and they said they will from 1 pm to 5 pm, when I called at 4 pm they told me they forgot to tell the electrician about my job, extremely unprofessional.

I called Able at 9pm on a Sunday evening as I suspected there were rodents in my kitchen. A pest controller was with me 8am the next morning, which was amazingly quick, he was very thorough and set various traps and bait and he advised me on what measures I could take to stop them from getting in again. He came back after 8 days to clear up - very satisfied and felt the cost for the two visits to be very reasonable.
They got my day wrong on the booking but otherwise a very good service. Unblocked my drain fast and left area clean and tidy. Workman was very professional and efficient. Would recommend to friends and use again if needed in the future.
I can t judge this company on their work but I can judge them by their employees. One of their drivers tried to swerve into me and knock me off my bicycle while on my way back home from work. This is absolutely disgusting and not how anyone should behave I hope he doesn t do it to someone else and actually knock them off
Unfortunately, this company is very poor in all areas and I would highly recommend that you do not use them.
The customer service is unprofessional and they will constantly blame their suppliers and you (the customer). They blamed the constant delays on the supplier and then, when the units were eventually made, they were damaged so the supplier was blamed again - even though they had been made 6 prior to the fitting date and could have been quality checked prior to the day of fitting.
On the day that they were meant to be fitted between 8.00am and 11.00am, I was contacted at 10.00am to be told that one of the units had scratches on so they wouldn't be fitted. Unfortunately, I was unable to return the call until 12.30pm when on my lunch break. I suggested that the other two units could still be fitted as we were expecting our first viewings on our property the following day and we had postponed the viewers twice already due to changes in the date the glass was to be fitted.
I was told that it was in fact my fault for not calling sooner so this would not be able to happen, but if I had requested this earlier in the day, it would have been able to happen - a claim that a manager later explained would never have happened no matter when I called back.
When I asked to talk to a manager, I was told that the company does not check the units before the day of the fitting as this is their policy and even when there are multiple units being fitted, if one is damaged, none of the units would be fitted on that day. The manager explained that they would never fit suitable units as a curtesy to their customers and would postpone until it suits the company, which is understandable but disappointing.
I am genuinely concerned that this company is a scam and that I may never get my windows sorted. I have already paid half of the balance for the windows and really do question if this is a legitimate company, especially after talking to the manager.

I called Able about a suspected wasp nest in my back garden late one afternoon and the pest control man was with us first thing the following morning. Within 2 minutes of his arrival he had located the nest and, 20 minutes later, he had treated it. All very impressive. I found the call-out price very reasonable. I would gladly recommend them to my friends and family.

Acted promptly. visited quickly when they said they would. diagonised the problem. took immediate action and solved the issue. Hoping never to have a repeat of the issue but if so would not hesitate to use them again.

Able Group are an absolute disgrace. It took them 3.5 weeks to install a triple glazed window after they did the estimate. From the outset, they knew of my timeliness, a holiday coinciding with my house sale completion. I requested the window be installed before I went on holiday.
They were unable to meet my needs. I was ringing them 2-3 times a day trying to pin them down for a installation date. They kept fobbing me off with a couple of lies as to why the window was taking so long. I had a gaping window at the back of my house which they offered to secure, but at extra cost. I declined. This added to my workload as daily I was a anticipating having to change my work diary at short notice. They appear to have no understanding of this or customer care.
Finally, I managed to pin them down to the 28th August - when I was away, which they knew. Fortunately I was able to find someone to let them in. I wrote a complaint to their customer relations team before going on holiday and still have not received an apology.
To my dismay, I have come back from holiday to find a new window installed, but with a crack in the bottom left hand corner. I believe they either knew of the crack already, or, it cracked during installation. Craftily, rather than asking the girl to come back and inspect the work, they dropped the keys back to her, and got her to sign without inspection. Therefore I have no witnesses. The outstanding money was taken out of my account without inspection.
I rang Able yesterday and spoke to a manager who became very nasty and said we'd have to pay for it all over again.
Do not go near this company, they are total Cowboys!

Worst company we have ever dealt with, passed from person to person by the phone, and then to be hanged up on. Plumber turned up day later to quote for new boiler, after i had taken the day off for them to come when they were supposed to. Where do I start? I damaged a wire under a plaster board in the wall. Just nicked the insulation. The electrician (?) turned up, dug a huge hole in the wall and eventually (after lots of chat) got himself into the second charging period before so that the original quote would be doubled. At which point he suggested I pay hi subcontract firm and the Able group individually. And as part of his double priced service, he mixed up resin on my table and wrecked the service. If that's your thing - go for Able.

i had a leaking tap which was flooding out i needed an emergency repair i called able group they promised me a plumber would come out within 60-90 mins and sent me an email to confirm i waited 2 hours no one came when i rang up they said they couldnt get anyone out for 2 days even though they promised and confirmed! they took my card details beforehand!
We hired an gas engineer to replace a gas hob. He turned up on time and worked efficiently, completing the job quickly and to a very high standard of workmanship. Once the job was complete he left the area clean and tidy. I would highly recommend the Able group for reliable tradespeople.

Emergency plumber said they would come out before 6pm. Half an hour before 6pm I received a call saying they weren t coming. They booked for the next day. The next day they called to say that no one was at the property. Someone was home and no one knocked on the door. I have dogs so I never miss a door knock! The engineer called me and didn t say anything. I called them back straight away. Spoke to the head office and they had gone on to another job and couldn t do the work for another 3 days. The man in head office was extremely rude. They wasted my time and completely unprofessional. They can not be trusted to turn up. Don t waste your time contacting them.

Had trouble finding a plumber in Cardiff prepared to come out and fix a simple radiator leak. These guys sorted one who came out the next day. Probably paid a bit over the odds, but it needed sorting and they sorted it.

I found Able Group online, called them up and an engineer arrived the next day. Because they didn t have the part with them they offered to come back the same day and fit it however I requested they came back the next day which they did. The engineer turned up, fixed the fault and replaced the programmer all in the time promised. Great work and I will definitely use again.

I booked the Able group to get a quote for a shower replacement. On agreed day, I had a call that a plumber was not able to come that day. That's ok, can happen. We got another appointment day 2 days later -it was yesterday. A plumber rung saying he was on his way and to confirm the address, and he never arrived. We rung his number, busy - and he didn't call back. We rung another number, and left message. No response. Dissapoining. Not professional.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!! Awful experience with this mob. Called them to book an engineer to carry out some repairs on my bathroom, gave them all the details of the work in hand and booked them in to attend. Apart from the adviser being slightly arrogant and rude on the phone, everything was fine so far. I was advised I would receive an email to confirm the booking, however this only came 2 days prior to them attending. It stated they would attend between 8-10am. I noticed the work scope description wasn't accurate so I called them up the next day to double check they knew what they had to do and they were going to attend, the adviser changed the work scope and said the engineer had not been allocated yet which prompted me to ask if the engineer would definitely attend, they replied they could not "guarantee" an engineer would be allocated (this was less than 24 hours before they confirmed they would attend!). The adviser again was arrogant and rude and I really sensed he had an attitude, the customer service at this company are so poor. After this unconvincing call, amazingly, I was still unsure if the engineer would even turn up in the morning. I took the morning off work to be here for them. 10am came and went and no engineer. I called them up and asked where they were, the adviser seemed clueless and put me on hold for about 5 mins, she came back and told me the engineer would arrive at 4-5pm that day instead. I explained they had confirmed a different time in the email and the inconvenience this has caused me and the adviser just said "I don't know whats happened here". I then just cancelled the booking and contacted a local company in Glasgow who are going to come out to do the job for me in a few days. Do yourself a favour and scroll past this company on google. Better to use a local company who value their customers!!

Terrible service! We paid to have a nest killed a week ago, with the re-assurance on the phone that if the first treatment wasnt succesful then a second treament would be included in the cost. The engineer treating it on the day suggested it would possibly require a further treatment, but reiterated that this would be carried out. Needless to say a phone call to them today suggests they want the full original amount again to re-visit!! Thankfully we have access to the original phone call and will be sending this to trading standards and the ombudsmen. STEER WELL CLEAR!

(It must be noted my mother has no issues with your technician) However I have major issues with misselling and breach of contract for a non existent service that you sold to her. Which i will deal with in due course.

I thought I would give them a try as I have a number of buy to let properties in London and sometimes service / expertise is more important than price.
Two men turned up who were nice enough guys but gave me no confidence they were in any sense the experts that that justified such charges.
Before they started I had hot water but couldn t turn off the water to the radiators - although I could turn them off individually. I was assure they would leave me with hot water. Their main concern it seemed was to get paid for the visit.
They didn t leave the hot water working ( I m now having to use the back up immersion heater ) and the office never rang to arrange to order the part or with any follow up .
I ve heard nothing since . A complete waste of time and money.

I was absolutely disappointed with their service. I called and fully explain about my situation which was more rare in comparisons to others which i made my description very specific. They sent someone out which unfortunately was more mature and not able to do the job as it requires him to go on the ladder as my issue was on the roof top. I called the office as the kind gentlemen couldnt proceed with the job and the consultant was very rude and abrupt. This company doesnt some how provide services that requires climbing ladders or being on roofs for wasps/bee nest removals ? So after my explanation they wasted my time by sending someone out that to do a job which they dont provide the service in the first place!!!
