Outstanding , professional company who truly put their customers at the heart of everything that they do.
The recent work that Tetris UK carried out at my property was first class and finished to a very high standard. All of the staff that I have made contact with have been very professional and a pleasure to do business with.
I will definitely recommend this company to all my family and friends and I will use them for any future work.

I have been using Tetris for a few years now with several of my properties in Nottingham. Jo, the Maintenance Manager, has been great to work with and her team is very friendly and knowledgeable. They always handle my requests in a timely manner and very kind when speaking on the phone.

DO NOT trust the positive reviews - Tetris has been bribing people to give them positive reviews. I know this because they tried to do the same thing to me and my housemates - see the attached picture. By the way Tetris staff, if you are reading this, this behaviour is explicitly disallowed by google and I have reported you for it.



I don't want to get too extreme with my language here so I won't go on an expletive filled rant but really that's what Tetris deserve. I've nothing else to say except never, NEVER give them your business.

No Matter what I say, unless you experience by yourself TetrisUK on your skin you won't believe in service provided by them and their practice to milk the money out of students.

We use tetris for work purposes. There fast and friendly. Prices can be s bit expensive, though we have a work account.

Nothing but good things to say about this company. Fantastic customer service.

Terrible agency. Took weeks to fix anything which was usually followed with a rude email from Jo. Trying to get anything fixed was a nightmare. Followed the procedures with their online system and heard nothing from them for about 1-2 weeks, this was with every fault in the house. Call them and they are rude. Stated we should use the online system. Cleaners which are in the contract to come round every two weeks only came once a month, if lucky.

Landlord and agency popped around and knocked on doors whenever they wanted. I worked nights so it was incredibly inconvenient. Plus worried that they might have gone into my room on those times they had been round and i was not there.

Stay clear!

Been using these guys for years, quality work, on time and in budget. Friendly service and always on hand to answer any questions I ask. I have used them for lettings too, house was let within a week, excellent!!

Have been with this company a number of years now,have been really supportive with regards to students tenants and effecient with dealing with any issues including any maintenance issues.

In my personal view, I would not recommend using Tetris at all. Echoed by other reviews, charged over the odds for minor things including weeding the garden- even though this had been done prior to us leaving, the company waited half a month before inspecting the property and therefore the weeds had grown back. At least 5 times not giving 24 hours notice before entering the property and the property was a state when we moved in. Would tell any student to stay well away.

I was worried after reading the reviews but having and dealing with the guys in the office I can honestly say I had no issues.
They really did help me, all the staff were helpful and I will use them again.

We have recently purchased a house from Tetris and we couldn't be happier with both the property and the level of service that we have received from them. Everyone that we dealt with throughout the sale of the property were friendly, professional and helpful. I would definitely look to use Tetris again to build us a house and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Rude, Slow and a bit of a Con!

Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend Tetris as a letting agency.
We had a number of issues in our 1 year tenancy. Throughout the tenancy Tetris were slow and unreliable. On multiple occasions they were rude, this was over the phone, on email and on visits to the property.

We had 2 weeks over this winter when the heating wasn't working- they responded extremely slowly to this and offered no compensation.

They caused great un-needed stress when they told us a fire wall was needed to be built in the middle of the property at 2 weeks notice. We were a group of doctors and so were working nights and sleeping in the day so this was extremely stressful and in the end didn't happen... We asked for regular updates but this simply wasn't done by Tetris.



Overall we have been extremely disappointed and would not recommend anyone to let with them as either landlords or tenants. In particular, Michael and Craig were most rude and unfortunately these were the agents we had the most contact with.

The handyman was a gent and always was extremely helpful when he was sent round.

Tetris UK are undoubtedly the best student lettings agency in Nottingham, we are so pleased with the service we have received that we have decided to stay with them for another year. Tetris have always been prompt if we've needed anything sorting out in the house and they have also been very patient with us in returning our application forms as we are all recent graduates working full-time.

It's clear that they always try to keep their tenants satisfied and are willing to resolve any problems that they might have. This has been the best Letting Agency we have ever dealt with. From help with our Dog and to accommodating us with moving from another country, they literally could not have done more. Great people.

Most unprofessional and unreliable of staff. Rude, patronising and unwilling to fix any problems, sometimes their responses seemed like a joke. They tried rinsing us for all we had and their management of our student let was appalling. Our internet broke: "you're lying". our stove broke: it took 6 months to fix. my tv speaker broke: "go and buy yourself some wireless headphones". our boiler broke: "sit under your duvets". They have viewings? they will barge into your room while you are sleeping without prior warning - then blame you. Their office Wifi goes down: They use the wifi of our property (which begs the question, how secure really is all of our information in their hands?) the list goes on.

Tetris has been the second agency I've used in the past two years and I thought they were great. The customer service is beyond amazing and they're more than willing to make sure everything is going well. Unlike most agencies, tetris are understanding of the fact that some individuals find themselves in tough situations and they do actually try their best to help.

They aren't the 'plague' and for the person that mentioned they were. She was completely out of line seeing as how I lived with her during our tenancy with Tetris. It turns out she should be avoided. Like. The. Plague.

Paying for reviews on google as noted by several other reviews. Can't trust them as the same story crops up time and time again wherein they leverage the DPS to try and claim a deposit for themselves falsely.
They stooped as far as forging signatures which is a criminal offence.

Please save yourself the hassle and please avoid this shambles of an estate agent.

Update 14th July 2017
In response to the idea that this is a liable claim I would like to remind Tetris UK that ultimately though 4/5 of our deposits were not returned, one of them was actually returned to us. This is because Tetris UK refused to answer any emails in response to obtain a "supposed" itinerary of which Tetris provided the DPS they they claimed we had signed.

By the time we had gone through my personal dispute 3 other of the deposits had been lost as a result before the DPS were able to provide me the document in question. Upon review the signature provided was forged of which the DPS took into consideration before awarding us the final deposit.

The response from Tetris was that the member of staff involved with that particular document in question no longer worked there, absolving themselves in their own eyes.

Whether their dodgey practices persist now I can't speak for that but my experience with them has left me feeling like they used scare tactics to students who might not know better otherwise. they claimed such a disgusting amount of costs upon a property that was returned in the same state it was originally to scare us.

Just to further confirm that none of my former housemates have taken the time to rate your business so your poor business practices could be exposed. Sadly you couldn't be this communication throughout my dealings with yourselves.

A truly professional team that take the stress out of letting your property. I have worked with them now for nearly 5 years and wouldn't consider any other company to take care of my house. We liked the property we chose and we lucky in having a good landlord who wouldn't mind helping with most issues. However, the staff at Tetris, particularly the maintenance manager Jo were always keen to blame us for problems. We informed of sofa damage which we did notice during an inventory but noticed later and were told by Jo that is broke because we had a party!! I think this accusation is a disgrace- i couldn't believe it!! We have been the most quiet and respectful student tenants you could ask for and that is the comment that is made?? Awful!! Also, being told to weed a garden which is full of dodgy paving is never been something Ive needed to do in a property. We never even used the garden because it was far too small. We have re let the house for another year if it wasnt with tetris - they made it a bad experience even though we like the house

Lived in a student property maintained by Tetris for 2 years now. Always quick to respond to maintenance requests and easy to get in touch with on the phone/via email.

I've been dealing with the staff in one way or another for many many years now. I've always found them to be both friendly and reliable as well as very hardworking to say the least.
Over the last few years I've also dealt with some of the team on a social side too.
The enfusiasm of all of the team is nothing but infectious.

The property itself is good and so is the location but I feel forced to move to another property purely because of the attuide of the staff.

I live in a 2 bed share and simple things like can I be made aware of when viewings are happening or even when someone is moving in go completely unheard, to the point where someone moves in and the first I hear of it is as I'm woken up from my sleep to noises downstairs.

And when I requested a call back about this, they called and immediately said we don't need to tell you, the law doesn't say we need to make you aware when it should be common courtesy especially when your in the house on your own.

Every conversation had with them feels like a battle, it just feels as if they are working against you rather than with you. But the funny thing is that they seem nice at first but once you move in and they have what they want there whole attitude changes.

I could go into so much detail, but simply put just avoid them because tenants will feel so bad that they have to move out and Landlords will miss out on money while they find new tenants so it's just a lose lose for everybody.

Tetris UK has really made my moving in to be such a pleasant experience.
They catered to my personal needs and gave me very good advice on the moving in process.
Finding a house and signing papers can be daunting but they guided me through everything and it was a breeze.
I would recommend everyone to use Tetris as their estate agent.

DO NOT TRUST THEM IN ANY INSTANCE.

I would suggest taking all the money that would go to:

1) The deposit which we didn't get back;
2) Repairs which we had to do because they didn't;
3) Weekly rent which was too much;
4) "Cleaning" fees which were a scam;

and spending it on a box on the side of the street. At least there you won't get headaches from talking to Michael.

We rented a student house through Tetris for one year between 2015-2016. The house itself was actually very nice and well equipped, in a great location and lovely street.

However, Tetris UK were absolutely awful.

We didn't get any correspondence throughout the tenancy due to them having the wrong email addresses even though we told them the correct ones several times. When things went wrong such as mould and malfunctioning basins, they made us fix it ourselves, even though their promoted "in-house maintenance team" should have fixed it.



Overall a very bad experience with Tetris, I would advise the landlord using another agency to avoid further dissatisfied tenants as a result of their incompetency. Do not use Tetris.

Generally, quite good. Thy have helped fill my rental even in lean times. I would certainly recommend them.

I required a new bed and they delivered it immediately the next day! Very responsive and friendly to talk to.

I lived in a tetris property during my final year of university, and overall it was a terrible experience.
I'd like to start by saying please take any 5 star reviews with a pinch of salt, they tried to bribe us to give a 5* review with the promise of being entered to a prize draw to win money - so there is a high chance this has been offered to others too.
My housemates had lived in the property the previous year, and I moved in to take someone else's place who was leaving to do a year in industry. This tenant left the room in an unacceptable state with holes in the walls from removed shelves - tetris promised me that these holes would be filled in and painted over before I moved in. I moved in and the holes were still there, I was then continuously told over and over again that they would be fixed, however they were not.
From the moment I moved in we had issues with the cooker, the gas rings did not work and we were again repeatedly put off, it took weeks to get them to agree to send someone to look at it, then the person who came to look at it didn't even attempt to fix it, then it took two more weeks for them to come and fix it. This happened repeatedly throughout the year as it kept on breaking. There were 6 of of living in the house and a cooker that kept on breaking wasn't good enough, especially with how long it actually took to rectify the problem. The staff at tetris were incredibly difficult to deal with and continually tried to belittle us and act like we didn't know what we were talking about, we were exaggerating, and spoke to us like children - we were all 21/22 and this was incredibly unprofessional.
On multiple occasions they let themselves into our property without prior warning - which breaches the lengthy contract they made us sign.
At one point around the time we were all writing our dissertations (all 6 of us in final year), the Internet completely broke. We immediately notified tetris of this, and they accused us of lying about the problem. Why on earth we would lie about the Internet being broken I don't know. As a result of this we were unable to do any work in the house during the day or at night time, and it took weeks to get this sorted. Our property was directly above the tetris offices so it would have been very easy for them to attempt to connect to our WiFi (as we had suggested) and see that there was no connection, however this was refused and the staff were extremely rude about the situation. There was no apology from the staff when they finally realised that the WiFi was genuinely broken, and this had proved detrimental to our studies.
Often when we reported that things broke (very regularly) they would not respond to emails and would try to pass us off when on the phone.
To add insult to injury, when we moved out they charged us extortionate amounts to clean the property, amounting to hundreds of pounds in total. Considering the state of the property when we moved in, this was completely unacceptable and I now regret not challenging this with legal action.

To summarise, don't waste your time with them. They are overpriced, with bad service and you simply don't get your moneys worth for what you are paying. Everything will break (washing machine, TVs, cooker, WiFi, shower, toilet, the lock on the front door, the heating) and they will refuse to fix it. If it's not already broken then it's poor quality (our sofas were falling apart and were in no fit state to be in a rental property, my walls that had holes in the entire year, the front door lock, the house had two bathrooms but only one shower could be used at once) so god knows where all that money is going. Staff are rude and demeaning, and should definitely not work in customer service. They didn't appreciate the urgency of many situations such as no WiFi in a house with 6 people writing dissertations, however I am sure if they lived in a house with no gas rings and no Internet available, they would soon be complaining themselves about how the house was not fit for purpose.

Bought a new build in 2012 of tetris . Very efficient company no problems at all. If changes were wanted along the way they would accommodate where possible. Friendly professional people would definitely recommend

Really dissapointed in this company. Had a good experience majority of the year with no problems but having a lot of trouble for the deposit as most reviews have said. We have disputed the deductions of our deposit as they were ridiculous and have heard nothing since (blatent ignoring) despite emailing multiple times. We are still waiting and our tenancy ended in July. Would not recommend as can no longer call this a trustworthy company with students best interests at heart.

I have given 2 stars simply because Micheal, Dona and (I think her name was) Becky were all pleasant to deal with. However, Jo, the maintenance manage was bloody horrendous to deal with. She was so patronising and rude that she reduced my flat mate to tears when she rung up about a broken washing machine. Jo would constantly tell us to fix something ourselves before she would send anyone out and when what we did didn t work she would accuse us of breaking the landlord s property so we had to pay for it to be sorted. Not to mention we were accused of breaking stuff. The oven knob was slightly broken on arrival but worked so we didn t report it. Overtime it got worse until it just broke off. When we reported it she said we d obviously had a party and someone had come round and leaned on it and broken it off??!? She just made a story up in her head as to why it was broken! We were third year girls who looked after the property and we had NEVER HAD A PARTY in the whole time we were there. Overall, we paid for a lot of maintenance stuff that wasn t our fault. Luckily our landlord was nice and could do some things himself with little charge but if it was left down to Tetris we would have been massively out of pocket.

Louise and the team have been great at Tetris UK. Everything from moving in to the final move they have been supportive and informative. Any maintenance requests have been dealt with in a timely manner and fixed to a high standard. From what could of been a stressful experience was made extremely easy with using Tetris. I would recommend this agency and the portfolio of properties that they have.
