It's one of the weaker aquariums that I've ever been to, I've been here at least five times and it's always under construction . There's probably more pictures of things than the real things. Disappointed always hoping for better

Very nice more modern aquarium. Large tanks and exhibits which is better than one tank per fish species.
The horseshoe crab touch exhibit and ray tank have been staples of the aquarium since I was in elementary school (when the aquarium was in the basement of a school).
Will visit again soon.

Great aquarium. Decent selection of animals. I ve been to many aquariums in my travel, and this one has some really cool exhibits I haven t seen elsewhere, and some eh exhibits. It seemed like they had a decent number of closed exhibits, which was kind of disappointing. The employees were mostly nice and helpful. Can t wait for the second building to open and bring in more animals. I went expecting to buy a membership, but decided to wait and see what happens.

This was very fun place to visit! We loved looking at all the sea creatures and being able to let our 4 year old be very hands on! The Eric Carle exhibit was fantastic!!! This was our first visit and we have plans on many more!!

Overall nice experience, the aquarium was nice and it had learning activities for children throughout the facility. And the Adventure Park outside with ziplining and etc is a nice experience for families.

Nice aquarium. There are several unique exhibits, one of our favorites being the sea turtles. We also loved the touch-pool with the stingrays and horseshoe crabs. Very educational as well. We went ahead an purchased a membership, so we can go back all year!

Okay aquarium. We were hoping to have a nice indoor day in mid August but there is quite a bit of outdoor walking to get between the two main exhibit buildings. There was a really cool ropes course that would be fun to do on a cooler day. Alright selection of animals, some of the featured animals were few and far between, like turtles and sharks. Overall, a nice afternoon, spent about 2.5 hours and walked through everything.

The other half of the aquarium is closed so theres really not much to see. Honestly the biggest attraction are the seals right outside the aquarium which are free. We bought a family membership (veteran/active duty) which came out to 135 which isn't too bad. However, do not plan on coming here on a cold day like today. There was at least 5 families that I saw with multiple children. The parents just allow them to scream and run around and jump in front of your regardless if you're walking. Needless to say we left early.

They are reserving time slots so it's not packed for social distancing but it was also amazing because I have anxiety! I started having a panic attack at one point and it was nice that it wasn't crowded so I could step aside and calm down. The animals and exhibits were wonderful!

The "dragon" exhibit is super clever. The sea turtles are a must-see. The marsh side you could just about skip. The walk through the woods between the two buildings is fun - however know that you'll walk through the undoubtedly expensive treetop course area and your kids will beg to do it.

I would save your money during this pandemic, I am sure this is a great aquarium at a better time, my review is only for today. All of the touch tanks and crawl through areas and everything extra is closed off (understandable). And no one, of course, abids by the 6 feet rule.. so the limited exhibits open get blocked up and congested really quickly, and by the time you get to a breathable space, see the 50 animals, its over.

Not a bad trip but I honestly don't think they have very many exhibits. The ones they do have are nice. But, for the price, I was imagining maybe a bit more there. The snacks and gifts are reasonable priced.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. My son and I were very impressed with all of the interactive activities and of course the animals. The sea turtles were my personal favorite. Worth the money to get in.

What was open was great. I grew up in Va Bch. I was there when it started. I donated $$$$. But half of the museum is shutdown & we weren't told until an employee over heard us talking about the next building. VERY DISAPOINTED.
