We purchased a 2014 Toyota Corolla around 2 weeks ago. Really like the remodeled Tansky and our kids loved the kid's zone. Amel and Richard are really nice and patient to listen to us. Financing took some time, but overall, we had very nice experience there.

I recently took my Corolla to Tansky because it seemed louder than normal when driving and I wanted to make sure it was safe to drive on a long trip. Despite my inability to give them any more specific signs or problems, Ben and his crew were able to find a minor problem with my tires, correct it quickly, and get me on my way without a long wait. Everyone was extremely polite and helpful and made this a very positive experience. Highly recommend!

My running light has not been working past couple ...

My running light has not been working past couple years. Last time they checked it they said it was fixed and 1 week later it went out again. Could pound on car and it comes on and goes off. Something is loose. Asked them to check it this time. I was told the fingers holding the light were loose. I have been saying that. This time, thinking it was fixed because they said they checked it, I didnt check it until I got home. Funny. Now the bulb is burnt out. It wasnt before I went bc I checked it 1 more time b4 taking car in. Bulb was clear. Now it is dark gray. So they figured out the problem why isn't there a working bulb in it. Another thing every time I've asked them to look at the light I believe only one time it was put in print that they were checking it it has been checked at least four times.
Still not fixed.
I was told/shown on paper that everything else is okay. The last 2 times I was in I was told my battery was running low. It still is as I can see from my dash icons.
This time they say my car is perfect

I drove 120 miles a day to work for this company in the service department. after being fired I was cheated out of my last bonus check. even though I sold work to customers if they did not pick up their vehicles until after I was let go I don't get paid for that remind you I'm a hundred percent commission. Just a bad place to work and do business. The sad thing is I'm not the only one this has happened to.

My wife and I want to thank the great staff we worked with at Tansky Toyota in buying our 2011 Rav4. To the ownership of Tansky, you have great employees in Ryan Spence, Pat Perry, Jim Bapst, and Richie Ables. To those looking for your next vehicle, I highly recommend shopping at Tansky.

We found 4 vehicles at Tansky that interested us. My wife set up an appointment with Ryan to see them but had to go alone since I had a conflict. She was nervous going by herself, but Ryan was fantastic. He took the time to show her the vehicles, explain the differences and take a test drive. He was kind and patient, helping her to feel comfortable and relaxed.

There were several vehicles she liked so we went back a couple days later. Ryan was busy with another customer but introduced us to Pat Perry. Pat was quite knowledgeable and very helpful. He knew the differences between model years, options, and packages which really helped my wife and me narrow our search to the right vehicle with the right equipment. We made an offer on a Rav4 which allowed us to meet Jim Bapst, the general sales manager.

We found Jim to be courteous and respectful. Arriving at the right price can seem difficult but Jim was a pleasure to work with. We felt valued as customers and were able to get things settled in a short amount of time.

Next up was Richie Ables who was able to meet with us to sign all the paperwork, explain what would happen over the next few weeks, and answer our financial questions. He was great to work with.

While Richie met with us, Pat was seeing to it that our Rav4 was prepared to be driven away that day. It was clean inside and out. And Pat went over it with us from bumper to bumper. He pointed out the various features and explained how to operate all the accessories.

My wife and I were quite impressed by how we were treated by Ryan, Pat, Jim, and Richie. All of them exceeded our expectations.

It was refreshing dealing with a team at Tansky Sawmill Toyota. I was in and out of there in about 1.5 hours. That s impressive when you are including a test drive.

I had a fantastic experience with my sales representative, Richard Norman. I don t know how he it did. He must have telepathic skills, as I came in no nonsense mood and somehow he met every need & desire I had for a new vehicle, and more, without the normal sales games and deep probing questions.

Richard really should be given a bonus for dealing with such a harsh customer. There was no room for mistake, no patience for wasted time, as I was well prepared to move-on to the next dealership. Richard won me over with respect, space, and knowledge he provided.

I drove away with a 2015 Toyota Corolla Prem S, fully loaded, with the payment rounded to $200 even, (Thank you Rich, go Steelers). For someone that hates payments, I love my new car and I don t even mind the payment. She (my car) drives like a dream.

I would even refer friends and family to Richard at Tansky Toyota. He was professional, personable, knowledgeable and fair without having to be asked. I could not ask for more; as I drove away knowing I had a Good Deal!

I had a terrific experience at Tansky Toyota. When I walked in the door, I was greeted by a man named Richard Norman. He'll tell you up front that he takes a more aggressive approach to making sales, but unlike most aggressive salespeople, he made sure I was comfortable and well-informed about the car I was interested in (2015 Corolla). He is a genuine, knowledgeable, and very funny guy who makes sure his customers needs are met and their questions answered. I ended up not making a purchase my first trip to the dealership because I wanted to test-drive a few other cars so I could make an informed decision about my lease. Richard honored my wishes, and after visiting several other dealerships and driving multiple cars, I can say for certain that Richard offered me the best deal. When I visited the dealership today to make my purchase, Richard greeted me at the door and had even taken the time to clean up the car I would be leasing and put it in one of Tansky's garages, out of the cold, snowy weather. If you ever go to Tansky Toyota on Sawmill, make sure to ask for Richard. He will get you a great deal and make sure you leave feeling awesome about your purchase!

I dropped my car off at 8 in the morning for $130 power liftgate diagnosis. Service rep was supposed to call me with update. Five hours later when I did not hear from the rep, I called them to acquire of the status. Rep told me that there was no update available, after I requested to speak to the manager, I was told that the manager was in a meeting but will call me when the meeting was over. I received a text that my car was ready. I went to pick up my car that s when the rep told me that they could not fix the liftgate because the part was not available. I usually have good service, but it seems most of the reps have been replaced, the level of service I am used to is not there any more.

Purchased a 2018 Tacoma TRD Pro from Tansky. Good experience with the purchase.

Had a recall on a part. They wanted my truck for a day so I asked for a loaner. They said we re booked out 3 weeks. I said OK and scheduled the loaner.

I showed up for my appointment but they couldn t find any record in the system. Luckily the guy who I dealt with remembered me and said they d do the work.

The loaner car they gave me was a Toyota Carolla. I was not happy as I had specifically requested a truck. If I wanted to drive a car I would have bought one. Ok... It happens.

Get home and 2 hours later they call and say the part needed for the repair is on back order and to bring the rental back.

Take the rental back and get my truck back. They say they ll call in 3 weeks when the part comes in. 2 months later I go in for regular Toyota service and ask about the part. Was told it s been sitting on a shelf with your name on it. Nobody called you?

Nope. Nobody called. Now had to schedule ANOTHER appointment in a week and give up 2 more hours of my time to get this fixed.

Also, at this last service the tech went over everything. He said everything was great, the only fluid we added was windshield washer fluid. Guess what? They didn t add any. I was out. Went to use it on the way home to clear the lines from the wash and was out.

They could do much better...

They told her they didn't have time to talk to her even though she had an appointment. I don't appreciate the way Tansky treated her. She will NEVER go back & I will be sure to tell everyone what a terrible dealership they are.. She is going to Byers..

Richard Norman was there to greet us when we came ...

Richard Norman was there to greet us when we came to test drive a Camry we were possibly interested in. He wasn't pushy, like a lot of salesmen can be, which is a turn off to me, frankly. He was professional, friendly, knowlegeable and very pleasant to deal with for both my wife and myself. We were not really planning on buying at that time...maybe in a wk or so after looking at others but Richard gave me the deal I was looking for and I always have a maximum amount in mind that I know we can afford..and he made it work. I'm very happy with the transaction and will recommend him to anyone I know looking for a good car and a good sales consultant. My wife was able to text him with other questions later and he replied every time immediately. We are both very satisfied.

When you walk into a car dealership, you aren't only looking for a car, you're looking for a car salesman as well. Well we found a wonderful salesman in Richard Norman, and he helped us find the perfect vehicle. My wife and I were lucky enough to be referred to Richard by a friend that has worked with him for years, and I now understand his loyalty. Richard is the consummate professional as he worked with us through each step of the process. We were extremely impressed with his ability to collaborate with his colleagues to get a deal done. I would recommend Richard to my fiends, family, and anyone looking for a new vehicle. We look forward to working with him again when the lease on our new 4Runner is up. Thanks Richard!

Our salesman was Tony Lafond and he was awesome. He listened to exactly what we wanted and we were able to get the deal we wanted and quickly which is not normal at a car lot. It was as painless of an experience as it could be! I would recommend Tony to anyone who is interested in buying a Toyota!

Called trying to work a deal from out of state. They made some ridiculous insulting trade offer and then tried to play the whole drive it in and let us see game. You can appraise a car from vauto everyone knows this. Then he told me they don't use NADA. That's hilarious. Marc Cox the GSM called and was entirely unhelpful. Yes my trade is old and has miles, so did the car I was looking at! If I am willing to work a deal sight unseen you can too. In fact, I do it for my customers every day and make lots of out of state friends! They have a lot to learn here, I recommend not trading a vehicle here. Or doing any business at all if you can avoid it. Having worked in the business a long time I know exactly what's going on behind the scenes at dealerships that act like this.

Edit: read some other reviews and looks like they don't allow third party mechanical inspection of used vehicles. Stay the hell away.

Even working out the financial aspects where the inevitable duty to sign here and here and here and .. was uncomplicated and explained well. Came in at 10.30am for an appointment $247+tax transmission flush in mind and supposed to take 2 hrs to be done. 2 hours later, Charles called said my "transmission gasket" leaks and he said need to be replaced and it will cost me additional $379 (a lot more than the market price to replace a gasket) !!! He said it will take about 1.5 hrs, which would be around 2pm ish. Called again around 2.20pm, still not done. I finally out from dealer at 3.15pm. My kids and I stayed for freaking almost 5 hours!!! Btw, Charles really good at 'educated' a grandma about how bad aftermarket oil filter is, how the oil won't work properly when the car started the morning . Stay away from this dealer when it comes to maintenance, they gonna try to "sell" additional services.

Disclosure: This is my first time buying a car through a dealership. I have to admit that I am 110% satisfied with my experience with Richard Norman at Tansky Sawmill Toyota. In the past month I went to over 10 dealerships in search of the vehicle for me and my family. The first stop and last stop were Tansky. I did not buy a vehicle on day one because everyone knows you don't buy the first car you see, no matter how much you like it (although I was tempted to after meeting Richard) -- you have to shop around for a purchase of this nature. So we went in circles and found a few cars of interest, but ultimately came back to Tansky, not so much for our favorite car, but for a wonderful car buying experience. We wanted a certified pre-owned had specific criteria that needed to be met. Richard heard us out and made it happen. We only had one hiccup, which turned out for the best. We were looking at a top of the line model Camry Hybrid in a color we didn't absolutely love. We slept on it and came back in the morning to buy it---HA it had been sold by another salesperson that same night we looked at it. Richard asked us to give him some time to find a replacement--and no, they do not do dealer trades, so I thought the likelihood he could make good on this offer was slim. I gave him less than 8 hours to get back to me. We were securing our second option car at another dealership a few hours later when Richard called us with a THE car for us. It met our criteria, was a color we loved, and we didn't have to deal with a grimy salesman to get a great price. I highly recommend buying a car with Richard Norman at Tansky Sawmill Toyota! Go for it and enjoy the ride.

We purchased a platinum warranty with our 15 Highlander. Brent our service advisor was unwelcoming and not serving the customers. I will never be a customer at tansky due to my first and only experience there. At least you could say you'll look into it and see if anything can be done.

My wife and I just bought a new 2014 Toyota Highlander Limited from Tansky Toyota yesterday. We want to express our appreciation for all the services they provided us from start to finish. All the employees from sales, management, finance to the maintenance service were super courteous to the moment we drove the new car out of the showroom. We cannot begin to tell anyone how delighted and satisfied we were with the whole process of buying the new car. There was absolutely no hassle or haggle in working with the Tansky staff. The new 2014 Highlander Limited is another great experience with all the new changes and updated technology making the driving a totally new experience and challenge. Again, we highly recommend Tansky Toyota to anyone looking for great and honest service. I had a scheduled appointment for recalls. When I arrived at the dealership, they couldn't find my information. I had no issue repeating and spelling my name three times except they still didn't spell it right on the form. The shuttle service was great...no issues with that. I did have to call to check in the status of my car,as no updates were given. The same man that checked me in answered and said it would be ready in 10 minutes. Great. So I get there and there's a bunch of markings on the paper and I ask the lady what they mean. She even said "no one went over these with you?" Of course not. To sum it up. Dropped the car off for recall repairs,won't be back.

I came in and was abruptly taken back by the persistence of a need for a sale; because I decline, I was insulted and treated poorly. I waited all day for my car to be finished and when I returned to pick it up; the man helping me reiterated he understands how I m having troubles with my finances, etc etc etc.... (That was a rude and passive aggressive comment) here s a chocolate bar for you. I do not trust they did the inspection as I was called in by Toyota to receive and was shocked they left my car dirty and tires needing air; because I didn t want to purchase a set of tires by an overly aggressive sales person first thing in the morning! Every other Toyota dealership I have ever been to will at least update you on your car and will also wash it since it s no hassle for them. These people are rude and demeaning! I will never return to this Toyota dealership and neither should you!

First the service adviser told us that our car with about 80K miles, which we bought from them and brought to them for every service, somehow never had the 60K service. Furthermore, the dealership refused to accept their own coupon for this service which we happened to have, citing the reason that the price of the 60K service on the coupon was too low. When we asked to talk to the manager, he was not available: when the manager called us back a few days later, he was trying to justify not accepting the coupon by saying that the coupon was only for the 30K service, and not for the 60K one. The coupon explicitly asks "Has you car reached another 30K?" and quotes the price. I do not see how this could be interpreted as a coupon which does not apply to the 60K, 90K, etc services as well. A really disappointing experience.

I worked with Stephen King... No not the author. The whole experience was great. He was incredibly patient, he only cared about the things that were important to me and did a good job helping me figure out what exactly those would be. I went a few places but he treated me the best and didn't get discouraged when initially I didn't really know exactly what I wanted. Stephen even stayed well passed close and went the extra mile to make sure I was given the best care and a great deal! I love my new Corolla and I am glad to feel confident in my choice!

He made sure we had the vehicle that was right for us, and when we were ready to buy he had all the paperwork ready. Speaking on the Service department alone: Nice service reps, but they are hungry for your money. An HID headlight replacement alone was over double ($300+) what I was quoted and completed at a nearby AAA. Avoid

2nd visit (May 2020) forced due to hybrid battery issues. Just took my car in for a diagnostic because it was having battery issues, but the battery would still charge and did not feel completely dead. Upon getting the car back and hearing I would need a $3200 replacement of the battery, the car actually performs significantly worse now. Would not be surprised if this scum damaged the battery during diagnostic. I felt comfortable driving my car before but no longer.

Everyone should do business here. I have had the best service at this Toyota location. Also, I want to mention that the service rep, Charlie was amazing! Charlie made me feel so welcome and he was so kind. Charlie offered to set up my next appointment; however, I couldn t at the time do to crazy scheduling. I will be back to do business again. Great job Charlie and thank you for sharing your hospitality.

I started talking to Ryan Spence (sales dude) several months before I made the purchase. Besides sending me promotional information and deals, he didn't push the issue. When I was ready to buy, he was very knowledgeable and made the process quick and painless. They are willing to work with you on the price. By the way, did you know that you get your first 4 routine services for free on a new Toyota!? Rest of the staff was friendly, but I only really had to deal with Ryan. The facility is brand new and super nice.

Ryan was not your typical salesman, not pushy at all, patient, helpful. Didn't try to trade me up to a model I wasn't interested in. I will buy another car from there when the time comes.

Doesn't hurt that I love my 2014 Highlander.

I have an urgent airbag recall on my 4Runner so I called and they transferred me to Tansky Toyota a few weeks ago. I was told by Mia in service they were ordering my airbag. After a few weeks I heard nothing so I called back and spoke to Mia again for her to tell me they never ordered my airbag. I guess no big deal it s only life threatening if it deploys. Mia is the absolute worst customer service person I have ever spoke to. It sounds like she sleeping when she answers the phone, she never addressed me by name and its apparent she hates her job. It makes me feel very uneasy taking my vehicle to this dealership. I might call another dealership to fix this recall issue.

I called Tansky's toyota ahead of time to make sure a trip to see them was helpful. The person on the phone told me to come on in, they would look at my vehicle and let me know what needed to be done with the vehicle.

I dropped my other plans and went there right away (during rush hour traffic) so that I could get it all figured out before the end of the day - they closed at 8. Upon arriving they told me that it would be $108 to get my vehicle serviced. I mentioned that I called ahead of time and the things that I was told. They were very upset with the person that talked to me.

I was upset that they would not take ownership as a whole company for their mistake. They wanted to charge me $108 to look at it. One of the men yelled at me. I left in tears.

Was all set to buy a used 2011 RAV4 Limited, fully loaded. I had arranged to finance half the car and paid a $500 deposit. So far so good, and the people at Used Cars were a joy to deal with up to that point.

Fast forward two days: I was all set to pick up the car and I show up at Used Cars, very excited. I then find out that at the time that I:

1) Test-drove the car
2) Paid the deposit
3) Arranged for a loan,

that the car had already been sold. Somehow, this fact had been overlooked until the night before I was set to pick it up. As if the oversight weren't enough, I was not given the courtesy of a phone call: regardless of the time of night, it would have been better to find out in advance, not at the time I show up to pick up the car. Obviously, I did not get the car, and while I got my deposit back, I found the stumbling answers and complete lack of information as to HOW this happened, let alone the fact THAT it happened, incredibly unprofessional. I would be willing to continue using Tansky for my service (I have since found a car through a different dealer) but I will likely NEVER attempt to buy from here again, unless communications between sales personnel and the New/Used dealers drastically improves.

When it comes to servicing appointments, Tansky does a great job. Their new facility is just so superior and also enhances the over experience of visiting them and waiting while the vehicle is serviced. Car wash facility adds to the perks and so I love it all!!
