Waiting area had free hot drink machine, that had 6 kinds of hot chocolate!
In addition to large area of couches & big screen TV, several reading/working tables were off to quiet side of the Showroom. WIFI was free (password poster is on top of coffee machine)! The busy Service dept got work done in the predicted tI'm frame!

The car shopping and buying experience has dramatically changed since the last time I purchased a car in 2000. To be honest, no one really likes the process of buying a car. However, due to a freak accident, I found myself searching for new car online. After I narrowed my search online, I visited several car lots before I wound up at Tansky Toyota where I was greeted by Richard Norman. He was extremely friendly but not pushy. First the beginning, he went out of his way to show me exactly what I wanted. I left the car lot that day knowing that I would no matter what car I would buy, I would be buying from Mr. Richard Norman.
Mr. Richard very patient and extremely helpful in allowing me to process what was my best and most cost effective options were. He went above and beyond to explain differences in multiple cars and their respective features. He explained the financial advantages of Leasing and made sure to answer my many questions; sometimes more than once.
After a nearly 3 week long informative dialogue, Mr. Richard remained pleasant to work with and consistently make me feel like I was the ONLY VIP customer he had. His sense of humor and professionalism helped to comfort my anxiety about getting my new car! In the end, I leased the new 2013 Avalon Hybrid, which is the car I originally went to Tansky Toyota to test drive. Mr. Richard Norman was awesome to work with, and as long as I am in Ohio, I will recommend everyone to purchase a car from him.

Richard Norman was very helpful in showing me how my new highlander works. He was very patient and answered every question. I was surprised at how different my new highlander is when compared to my older highlander. I have purchased both vehicles at Tansky's and I am a customer for life.

Erica Wilson was also a great help and went over all of the extra coverage I could purchase. She was very nice and professional. She took time to explain all of my options but did not use high pressure tactics to make a sale. I really liked her and I would recommend Erica and Richard to friends and family when it comes time to purchase a car.

Richard Norman was wonderful to work with. I picked out the car I wanted and filled out the application online. When I got there Richard had my car by the door and the paperwork ready for me to sign. Three quick signatures later I was off to financing. In financing, the service was very friendly again. He was very helpful and mindful about my budget and did not try to sell me a bunch of unnecessary stuff for the car. Overall, I was in and out in 45 minutes! Very pleased!

I had tires completed on Tuesday. When I picked my car up on Wednesday it was vibrating when I hit my brakes. Took my car back in and they said I needed to have my rotors replaced. Discussed how we were going to trade the car in soon and they said it still needed to be done first. So we had the rotors replaced. Picked my car up and my brakes were squeaking! We were suppose to leave that night for vacation in my car. I called the service department and they were closed. I text the sales guy we were going to buy the new car from. He said I m sorry. Nothing he could do. Used the chat online to speak with Jennifer . She gave me the number to the dealership. That was it! So we were scrambling to even know if the vehicle was safe to drive out of state. To make matters worse. I called when we were back and the receptionist was extremely rude. I left a voicemail for their service department as well as their general manager. No return call from their general manager. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. We ve used their service department for my car since we ve bought it without any issues and the gentleman we bought the car from was fantastic. However after the last 2 weeks of dealing with them I wouldn t recommend anyone use tansky Toyota off of sawmill! They have not made any effort to correct their own mistake and absolutely no follow up from management.

Lately I'm not impressed.. They are always scratching up my Tacoma they don't listen when you ask them to do something. I do not expect the type of service I get here from a dealership I take my Tacoma to a dealership for dealership level service not for crappy service..

The guys in the service department move the speed of turtles to even get your information and are beyond rude. I ended up buying the tire I needed and going to tire discounters instead. They did a way better job and I only waited 10 minutes. Go there instead!!

The best thing about Tansky Toyota is not the peaceful upscale waiting room I'm sitting in waiting for my new Highlander to get its 5,000 mile service or the helpful sales people. The best thing isn't the amazing after the sale service they gave me when my temporary registration was about to expire as I was getting ready to leave for a trip and they sent a member of their staff to my house to go stand in line at the DMV for me and get the permanent plates (truly White Glove service!). The best thing wasn't their dilligent search all over the Midwest to find the exact combination of model, color, seats and trim that I wanted and import it from Cleveland to Columbus in less than a week.

The best thing, by far, is the car itself. I love everything about it, particularly the dynamic cruise control and the air conditioned seats.

My husband spent over 3 hours waiting for an oil change - appointment was at 1, didn t leave until after 4. No one informed him it would be such an incredibly long wait. When I called for an explanation I was told that the computer said the work order was completed at 2:30 and he kept insisting there were 2 sides to the story ... definitely got the impression that they thought we were just lying. This visit cost us $115 and half a days work. Absolutely cannot believe that we were treated with such suspicion and distrust - we purchased our vehicle from tansky last January and had been customers since. All they could offer us to make amends was a free oil change. I wanted the cost refunded, but I honestly would been willing to compromise if I wasn t treated with such distrust, as if I was trying to pull one over on them. If they had just offered a sincere apology for the poor service I likely wouldn t be writing this review, but their first reaction was to disbelieve our experience and act like it didn t even happen. Truly disappointed and hurt.

I went here after being blown off at another dealership. I was immediately greeted at the door by Donell and was treated so well!! NEVER pressured to buy anything at all. I was able to drive two cars that I really liked and I ended up purchasing a car here just two days later. Financing was very easy and I am super pleased with my new car! Thanks so much!

2 years ago when I bought my HYBRID RAV 4, I had a great buying experience! This was my first Hybrid, and the Tansky salesperson did a great job of educating me without talking down to me. When I wanted to test drive, they gave me the keys and let me TEST DRIVE BY MYSELF so I could get a feel for the car without the distraction of a salesperson next to me trying to sell me. (This made a HUGE difference LOVED the feel of the car, and came back the next week and bought it!)

I just had my last TOYOTA CARE 2 year service that was included when buying the car. I was so happy with my service experiences that I bought TOYOTA CAR PLUS for another 2 years of maintenance. My experience with MEGAN CROGNATE in Service was great, and I feel good about supporting a dealership that has people like her!

But on my last visit, it seemed strange and dangerous that the Toyota Car Service desks were moved into the garage entrance bay, away from the office inside with the rest of the service people. Especially on a hot morning, the exhaust fumes and noise of the incoming cars, a few feet away, was very distracting to me as a customer, and I felt sorry for the Toyota Care staff that had to work there.

I hope that Tansky Toyota management quickly moves the Toyota Car service area back inside, it made me feel that Toyota Car customers wasn t seen as important as the other service customers (I bought Toyota Car Plus anyway :-)

The service was nice but they seems take a bit longer. 1 1/2 hour I waited in the lobby and got up to service desk to see if my car was done oil change after 90 mins waiting. . I found out the car was done already and the paper was sitting on the desk.

My experience with Tansky service department has been terrific. I have been a Tansky service customer since 1999, and currently have both of my vehicles routinely serviced there. Rodney Barrett is the best service consultant. He has personally managed the service of my vehicles since 1999. He always goes out of his way to insure my satisfaction is met. I would recommend Tansky service to friends and family without hesitation.

I just leased a 2014 Camry Hybrid from Tansky Toyota, and I couldn't be happier with the car, the service, and the entire experience I had at the dealership. I had not thought of leasing, and Ryan Spence, the salesperson, crunched some numbers for me, and at this time in my life, leasing is the way to go. What's great is that under the lease, there is a maintenance deal, so that means for a low monthly cost, I get basic maintenance included for about two years. The car is amazing, too--it's a lot of fun to drive, and it gets remarkable gas mileage. The entire process was pleasant, and I really think that when other members of my family need cars, we will return to Tansky.

I had an absolutely stellar experience here; Amel Mustafa is such a wonderful person - great to talk to and 100% fair. I can say this with full confidence instilled in my very being, because I am Sudanese so I know when talk is talk without the walk. I recommend this dealership to all of my friends and family whom are searching for a kind, easy, and fair experience in purchasing a vehicle. This dealership is tenfold superior to all others in the Ohio. It is imperative that I point out I am a car collector (I have been collecting since '93), I have purchased automobiles from others all over Ohio, and it is blatantly obvious to me that the authenticity of Tansky Sawmill Toyota is far greater than other dealerships in Ohio; you can't go wrong here!

I love Tanskys Toyota on Sawmil Road. Everytime I bring my car in for serivce the staff is always friendly. The atmosphere is nice and it has been remodeled and looks beautiful. They always have hot coffee or tea and popcorn available while you wait and they give me a candy bar when my car is finished. Tansky Service team has always been very accomodating! I had purchased my 2017 RAV4 here and have brought it in multiple times for service, the customer service has always been the best. They explain all the services needed on my car and also let me know if something could be done later or could wait. I usually work with the Service Advisor Chuck Kelly and he gives honest opinion/recommendation. The only 1 thing that I would like to see changing is the service technicians not being available at 3 PM or 4 PM and on Saturdays. I can understand they don't work Saturdays, everyone needs weekends. However, I wish they could stay a little longer on other days. It allows the customers to have the convenience of getting off work early and still be able to come and get vehicle diagnosed as opposed to bringing in the vehicle in the morning and going around without it. Other than that, kudos to everyone!

Good service and friendly staff. Had a manufacturing recall service here, and after the service I noticed some scratches on my car. Came back here, Chuck Kelly is very helpful and friendly. We are very happy that Toyoya Tasky has good employees like Chuck. Definitely this place is great and appreciate Chuck.

Terrible communication internally and externally. It took them over a week to service my car. I left voicemails and spoke to several people letting them know I wanted to move forward with what they had quoted, only to find out later that the person handling my account never got any of the messages and hadn't ordered the part needed. I had to consistently reach out to them for updates as nothing was being proffered on their end, and then was finally told that it was done and ready for pickup. After taking an Uber to go pick up my car, it turned out my car was not in fact done - they had just gotten the part and hadn't even started it yet so it would be at least another day. They tried to make it right by offering me a loaner for the last day and discounting my labor rate, but I will never go back here.

The staff was awesome. The rep Destry was great and Vicky from the Service Department went way over the top to help me. They were not able to recreate the issue my old 2003 Toyota (with262,000 miles) was having (because it is so random). But they tried really hard and they had a few theories which I hope to explore with them going forward. And in the end, I had to have my car back and they didn t charge me because they couldn t figure it out. which I very much appreciated. (There is nothing much worse than paying for a diagnosis and not getting a diagnosis!)

I personally received excellent customer service while shopping for a new vehicle here at Tansky Sawmill Toyota. I had been to other dealerships around the area and none of them gave me even half of the friendly, courteous, and attentive service I was blessed with at Tansky. Richard Norman was immediately by my side as I began to look around the lot, and with his amazing persistence, drive, and knowledge I was quickly able to find my new vehicle. I am new as a customer at Tansky but if this trend of superb treatment continues, I will most likely be a customer for life!

Just bought my 2nd car from here today. The first was 9 years ago, still runs and looks great, just time to upgrade. That's why I love Toyota's, they last! The prices are always low on used cars. The service department is great and very reasonably priced. I had taken my 4runner to another shop, that tried to sell me replacement part that tansky said are nonreplaceable.

when I originally brought the vehicle in to get the seat belt replaced, the part was not available so they immediately told me I would have to come back when the part arrived. They had many openings to choose from morning afternoon and evening to get the service done. once they had the car the service took about an hour and a half and they were finished and called me and let me know it was done quickly. I just recently bought my new 2014 Toyota Prius C ...

I just recently bought my new 2014 Toyota Prius C from Mr. Richard Norman and absolutely love it. Going from a gas guzzling 1997 Toyota T-100 Pickup to this hybrid car has been night and day in terms of saving money on gas and being in the new millenium in terms of car technology. Heck, even having a car with automatic locks/windows is a step up from where I previously was.

Richard was very helpful in getting everything set up for us! He was very warm, welcoming and friendly. If you get the chance, I would definitely recommend working with him. Whenever there was any sort of down time with us waiting, he always made sure we were taken care of - whether that meant making sure we were filled up with coffee, cookies, or even just comfortable with making the purchase. He even let us test drive the Prius beforehand to make sure that was what we were needing - no strings attached..

Also - Richard's follow up skills were great. We didn't make the purchase on Saturday - so he scheduled a follow up with us the next day on Sunday, which I'm sure is not the most ideal day to go into work, with us to finalize the purchase. That being said, his dedication to the job was clearly there!

All in all it was a good experience! The time frame for the purchase was a little lengthy, but that is too expected! As this being my first "new" car purchase, I have not been disappointed at all. Mr. Norman - thanks again! I love the car!

Over the past couple months, I have been researching compact SUVs and crossover vehicles to be used as a family vehicle in replacement of my 2011 Toyota Corolla. I have been a Toyota customer since 2010 and my family has owned multiple Toyota vehicles. The RAV4 was an obvious choice but I (and my wife) very much like the Ford Escape.

During my oil change last week, I had the pleasure of meeting Richard Norman. I told Richard that I wanted to upgrade soon but had very specific numbers to meet. Over the next week, he put together a package that convinced me to not even drive the Escape. Richard was able to lease me a 2014 RAV4 AWD Limited with all the options within my budget and handled our discussion with the utmost professionalism and integrity.

Since moving to Columbus I have used Tansky for service on my vehicles and now thanks to Richard's service I will be a Tansky customer for all my future needs.

Needed to take my '10 Tacoma Prerunner in for the ...

Needed to take my '10 Tacoma Prerunner in for the corrosion resistant compound application as settlement from a class action lawsuit. Tansky applied the compound to the frame and returned it a day later. The application seems to be done correctly but the compound dripped from the frame when I got home, onto my concrete drive. The odor has made the truck difficult to be near, and the compound is still tacky six days after application. The Tansky folks were very good to me as they have always been. My service advisor, Destry Snyder, is always very helpful.

My wife and I just purchased a 2014 Corolla from Tansky Toyota and the salesperson...STEPHEN KING...was incredible. He is a fine young man of outstanding character and is an honest salesperson. Our experience was top notch and we hope to work with Tansky and STEPHEN KING again in the future. One of the things I was most impressed with about the 2014 Corolla was the amount of trunk space and the ability to fold down the back seats because that is a must for myself. Stay away from this dealership!
We are in the process of purchasing a new vehicle and currently own two vehicles purchased from this dealership, a Highlander Limited and a Matrix. We arrived at the dealer and began working with a sales person when he had an unexpected appointment show up so he moved us to another sales person who was rude and condescending. This is the only dealership we visited that didn t know anything about Apple Car Play. The first salesperson had not even heard of it. The second, Benjamin, was somewhat familiar with it but was explaining why I didn't need it, while I was explaining why I am interested in the feature. Even manufacturers that do not have it are able to speak about it and what their plans are to integrate this feature into their vehicles. Audi, BMW, Acura, Lexus, Honda, and Subaru all had very good answers when inquiring about this feature. Toyota is the ONLY place we went that the sales person said what is that? . It is also the only sales experience that the sales person did not say, I m not sure about that, but I ll find out for you . When we asked to take the Highlander for a test drive he told us we were wasting his time. He thought the Rav4 would fit our needs better, however, he hadn't discussed our needs with us. He criticized us for looking at the Highlander because of the heated steering wheel, but again, he didn't ask why and didn't ask about or listen to our needs. Had the sales experience been good, the Highlander would have been at the top of our list. We obviously like the Toyota product. However, I had stopped servicing my current Toyota due to poor experiences at Tansky s service department and would have been hesitant to purchase from Tansky anyway. I'm very excited to be purchasing a new Lexus where the buying experience has been phenomenal. As long as the current management is at Tansky, and due to the bad experiences with service and in sales, it's unlikely our family will ever own another Toyota. There are simply too many other quality choices and dealerships that want to provide quality service in all aspects of the experience. Tansky is failure in my book. I would caution against visiting this dealership. Ever since they have built the new building everything has went downhill and it s really unfortunate. I've also posted this review on my mom's group which has over 5,000 members and will continue to share this experience with others because it was so terrible.

It's impossible to get the price of the vehicle from them without going going through their sales process. Multiple times have I gone there, and each one had the same bad experience. I asked for the price of the car, and they want to go sit inside and start asking a lot of detailed questions. When I stated that "I don't think you should need my address, phone number, email address, or knowledge of what vehicle I have now just to tell me what a car costs", they refuse to give a price. It seems that it is just their policy to not be honest, upfront, and open with their customers. If the price of a new car depends on who I am, then they can sell cars to someone else. I gave two stars because their service department treats customers well. Unfortunately, I have to drive farther from home to buy, though.

Edit:. They reducing my review to one star because of their response. The window sticker doesn't represent the purchase price. It's legally required to display a window sticker, so that doesn't mean they're up-front. A payment amount is also not a purchase price. I asked them explicitly to give me a purchase price, not a payment. If you need to figure out who I am before giving a price, that's anything but up-front. Saying that they're up-front in pricing when they only want to give a price masked by a payment amount after harvesting information is anything but honest...they're quite literally doing the exact opposite of what they're labelling it. By their own response, they have validated my complaints.
