Nice boozy brunch on a Saturday, great atmosphere and good price. A bit sloppy with the food supply, but never reluctant to assist.

An oasis in Singapore. You get 10 times more than you expect.
Everything from the lobby and bedroom to the breakfast was exquisite. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
My favourite part was waking up in the morning and being surrounded by peacocks.
Tip: If you would like a quieter room, ask to be away from the wing near the pool.
Nice and secluded resort, away from the hustle and bustle of the beach areas.
There are places in the hotel that are extremely well-groomed and very neat. Unfortunately, this does not apply to rooms that have their glory days long ago. After telling such a mushroom in the bathroom, I did not see how it is living in different hotels of different standards. Furniture in the rooms are also badly worn, and the smell is stale and unpleasant.
You can write the same about the staff, there are some such gems as the Lord serving juices and eggs at breakfast, but also a person poorly prepared to serve guests, like a waitress who unfortunately served us in the evenings in a restaurant. Unfortunately, it's sad that for 3 days no one offered us coffee at the table during breakfast.
Despite having a gold status late check out turned out to be a big problem, I had to walk to the reception 3 times and bargain for every hour of staying longer in the room, the first suggestion to stay in the room until 13 (flight we had at 21:30) I am sincerely amused, only you on the day of departure allowed us to stay until 17 in another room. What was not a problem in MBS despite the lack of membership in any of their programs.
A couple of minor issues came up but was bearable, but the bed that was in the room was obviously spoilt and should be decommissioned. It was creaking and slanting to one side.
The overall experience was great as it is difficult not to be taken in with the understated yet sophisticated luxury of the place. Every place exudes great charm and the fact that I was meeting my wife after a month probably helped matters too.
The only thing which stood out was that not all the staff smiled and made one feel welcome. I have been living out of hotels for the past few months and noticed that Singapore while efficient was not as warm and welcoming as the other South East Asian nations. Having been in Shangri La, Novotel, Park Royal, Chatrium, Meridien and Trident in the last few months, I had expected Sofitel to be a notch above. However, while everything was functional, there certainly were times when I just didn't feel welcome enough.
Gripes aside, the anniversary surprise arranged was very thoughtful and I would like to place my personal thanks to Rachelle for managing everything despite the confusion with the booking cancellation.
Clean comfortable place
Fun
The receptionist who handled my check-in has a pleasant disposition (always smiling), and he made sure he personally grab one of his colleague to bring me to my room. The porter who volunteered to bring my to my room was actually already tolling a guest's luggage to bring to the guest's room, and went out of his way to bring me to my room first!
The room is clean and smell good. Room amenities are wonderful, especially the complimentary TWG tea and Lily coffee machine! Tried both and they taste good indeed! :)
The bathroom heater is reliable, with hot water instantly on and temperature maintained at a stable state. Lanvin toiletries smell really good to use.
Out of the room I love the swinging sofa bed located in shed next to the swimming pool. The hotel is also quite near (via the over 130 steps steps down from the cliff) the Palawan beach and the suspension bridge leading to the most southern tip of Continent Asia!
Last but not least, the bar tender (Chinese fella, forgot his name) at LeBar was really nice and chatty, made me a really good welcome drink, and made a good suggestion for me to sit at the more shady side overseeing the swimming pool! A really kind gentlemen.
Check-out was a breeze and the free shuttle to Vivocity on mainland was a very comfortable ride. Upon stopping at the stop next to Vivocity, the driver advised us to be careful when alighting due to the high steps on the ground. Kudos to that special effort!
So, overall a really nice pleasant stay at your wonderful resort! I will be back in September! :)
Cheers ... Mr Low
A facility where you can enjoy a resort hotel. The rooms are small and have all the amenities. It's a shame that there were two shower gels, mistaken for shampoo.
Very convenient and easy, also a nice place to stay.
big shoutout to Danial from the reception team and Harshpreet from housekeeping team for decorating the room for my partner's birthday.
capacious bed, huge washroom and bathtub, couldn't ask for more!
thank you Sofitel Sentosa!
excellent service. enjoyed the beaches and the pool. great for family or romantic staycation. Free Parking
Hotel is pretty rundown but service from staff was worse. Didn't feel welcome at all and every request seemed like a trouble to service staff. There was a child with us, while the package came with meals for 2 adults, the staff did not bother to even provide utensils for the child. When we went to The Cliff for dinner at 6.30pm, we were told bookings were full and that we had to go back at 8.30pm. No one told us we had to make prior reservation when we checked in. There were only afew groups of patrons at the restaurant at that time. Our package came with dinner at The Cliff so we were not about to explore other options. When the staff finally decided to offer us a table, we were told to leave by 7.30pm. However service was slow and main course only served at 7.20pm. Throughout our meal there, the restaurant was never full house. The pizza we ordered came so charred that we could only eat bits of it. The entire experience was totally unexpected of a sofitel hotel. Hygiene was also lacking. Utensils were placed on table not on napkins. We also found a cockroach in the bathroom. It will probably be the last time we will be thereto top it off, we did not get any response from the hotel after providing our frank and genuine feedback.
went for the Pink brunch, and it was not too crowded, service was attentive, and Newman took special care to make sure our wine glasses were always full. I've also taken a tour of the resort, and it's very spacious, rooms were clean, and it had a good resort holiday feel to it. nice job refurbishing the old Beaufort property!
Super nice hotel to escape from the city. Excellent indian cuisine and french breakfast. Spa & Massage too overpriced, take a 5mins cab and you will get the same for less than half of their pricing.
Beware the weekend crowds and avoid the tourists. They can be extremely uncouth and noisy, spoiling your weekend breakfast in a scenic place.
Excellent Property and Even Better Staff Perfect For a Weekend Staycation
Booked a weekend birthday stycation, first hotel booking since the circuit breaker lockdown period began. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend a visit to give that relaxing holiday feel while still at home in Singapore. The food quality and choices (Cliff restaurant dinner, Kwee Zeen breakfast and room service) exceeded my expectations and I would return to visit Sofitel Sentosa again just for dinner. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful but a few really stood out and need specific mention.
I originally had made a mistake in booking the room booking and could not use my Accor All platnium upgrade benefit. Naturally I was a bit upset but the front desk staff was really kind, helpful, made me feel weclome and went out of their do what they could to make sure my stay was a memorable one. I think the hospitality and professionalism of front desk staff exceeded my expectations even for a prestigious brand such as Sofitel. Samantha and Farah are exceptional employees who go above and beyond the call of duty that Accor should be proud to have as a member of their team.
I also need to mention a member of the pool staff, Sarah, who despite being extremely overwhemed and understaffed at the poolside this holiday weekend rush, he was constanly running back and forth fullfilling orders and despite some delays he was able to accomodate all of the guests. I never saw him idle for a minute during the two hours i visited the pool.
All in all, this was a 5 star visit for Sofitel Sentosa Resort and has exceeded my expectations despite all of the recent changes and regulations needed in these stressful times. If you're thinking of a weekend staycation getaway book a room at the Sofitel Sentosa Resort and be a part of the restoration of the great travel and hospitality industry here in Singapore.
Came here for a wedding lunch Sofitel has a very nice ambience. However the food wasnt up to expectation. There was a metal scrub wire in the soup. My cold platter portion was missing the tako. The ee fu noodle wasnt very tasty. The taro with pumpkin was very nice though.
A real staycation away from Singapore. However, guests have difficulties accessing the gym and spa facilities because it is at a different block a buggy ride away.
Attended a wedding at Sofitel Hotel, so did not have much opportunity to use the amenities etc. Main drawback is location, since it is quite remote and is rather inaccessible from RWS itself (need to take a separate shuttle bus from Vivo City).
Toilet wasn't very clean, flooded urinal. Food wasn't very fantastic as well.
BEAUTIFUL AMBIENCE...It is situated neaby Palawan Beach and Tanjung Beach
My booking was cancelled by the hotel without me being informed - and then despite me being a very regular Accor guest was only offered a higher rate than what I was booked. Checkin took an hour
Situated in a very green n good environment, this is a super luxury resort. Non veg food and facilities are excellent.
Nothing great it just looks like resort in Bali with 3x of the price there.
When for a wedding lunch. Food wasn't nice considering its location/prestige
The staff were friendly and the requests were being fulfilled promptly
The place is extremely beautiful and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
I really adore this escapist resort within bustling Singapore, with its laid back atmosphere and Bali-esque ambiance. The room was pretty great too, surpassing my expectations.
The accompaniments like IlLido & So Spa were good complements to the stay, and I was glad to be able to experience them.
My only qualm was with the service, which were defined by few incidences which really annoyed me:
1. The TV remote in my room was not working, to which I called on the "One Touch" service. I was informed someone would come to the room to remedy it. We waited. No one came. I was only able to have it fixed when turn-down service happened and I asked the guy to fix it. To agree to do something would mean that you will deliver, so please make sure it happens when you do instead of ruining the integrity of the service.
2. The complimentary fish spa beside the bar was quite a popular amenity, and the foot towel provided runs out rather quickly. I went to visit it once, and the towels were out. So I approached the closest hotel staff, which happens to be the bartender(?) behind the counter to inform him of it and to ask if I could get 2 towels for my wife and myself. But clearly he has a serious attitude problem, first asking me to use towels that were already used by others and dumped into the used towel basket. Only after I refused did he pass me the towels he had behind the counter. Please do tell me how is that even acceptable. To make matters worse, I happened once more afterwards. I invited friends over so we can lunch in IlLido, and 2 of them wanted to check out the fish spa too. Again, towels were out, and I went to the bar where the same guy was there. This time, he even went further to chastise me, saying that he has already given me 2 towels earlier and once again asked for my friends to use the unsanitary used towels before giving just 1 towel for 2 of them to share. I did not want to pursue the matter further then as I did not want to spoil the day further, but this is was utterly ridiculous to contend with.
Of course, there were better service experiences throughout the 3 nights I spent, like with the concierge and lobby staff or the driver. Sadly, they were overshadowed by the above and few more service issues here and there along the way, but those were small enough to be overlooked.
Please, do this beautiful place justice and get the service up to scratch. I honestly don't know if I would come back again after what I had gone through.
A nice and sophisticated hotel, look elsewhere if you are searching for a boutique place.
My wife and I had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at the resort. It has a great ambience and the staff who served us at check-in and at the restaurant were most friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back for our staycation.

Complete spa experience. Can go for a few treatments and then enjoy the lovely pool area afterwards. There is also a good poolside restaurant for a light lunch.
Attentive and professional staff, a very good stay at Sofitel Sentosa Resort & Spa!
This stay was a redemption from my credit card. I came with no expectations simply because I did not pay for it but I was hoping to evaluate my experience for the future when I have family/friends visiting. I have to say that the ambience of the resort is good, and the service staff at the front desk really friendly. Kudos there!
However, as a guest, i found the room to have a musty smell throughout the stay. The biggest disappointment of all was the unavailability of a table for dinner at Il Lido. Since it was a staycation we decided to eat in the hotel but when we called to reserve a table, we were told that they were all fully booked. I think you should reserve a certain % of the tables for your in-house guests rather than trying to maximize profits. We were lucky that we have a car and we could drive out to eat.
2 person staying but only provides 1 bath towel , bathtub not clean enough and pillows too soft I think the pillows is time to get replace
Not what was expected for their price disappointed dust all over their passages and their rails of the doors.
The hotel is beautiful but the service for a five star hotel is less than adequate. (Most of) the staff are unattentive and even forgot our drinks on occasion. There is no table service around the pool, which I find quite unbelievable. However, the grounds and pool area are lovely, as is the food. I just feel like you should get more based on what you've paid.
Jump into a Balinesque resort with live peacocks for companions, wonderful suites and a real pool overlooking Tanjong Beach... without the need to fly all the way to Denpasar!
Very stylish Sofitel with tasteful design, generous breakfast buffet and a large footprint that spreads the rooms all over the place and leaves plenty of open spaces. Highly recommended for a romantic week-end away from busy CBD or to spend some time with young kids.
Will take my parents there for dinner sometimes!
Wonderful spa facilities, very peaceful and attentive staff.
When on holidays I want to relax and have a few drinks, however the prices for wine & cocktails are ridiculously prohibitive so we simply do not buy any. it is silly to pay as much for one mediocre glass of wine as for a meal, especially when we can stay at home and buy the same thing in a restaurant for less than half. If you charged a reasonable amount we would have stayed at the pool or bar for longer and bought food as well, so it is counter -productive for you
The hotel itself is quite nice and I love the service of front desk and concierge staff.
The room is quite nice with comfy bed. Plenty choices of breakfast buffet and perfect spa treatments and pool.
The only thing I want to suggest is that, please make face tower s regular amenity in your guest room.
Great. Cozy. There's a shuttle bus out to vivocity but not to resorts world. Rooms are nice and big. Good WiFi and good heated water supply..quiet.
PROS: Kudos to the events and F&B team
CONS: Villa was leaking throughout and severe lapse in service especially during the check out
1) Late arrival of duty staff to arrange the check out at villa despite numerous calls and reminders since the night before and on the day itself, which ultimately have affected our wedding programme.
2) Payment issues upon check out, which mainly affected our wedding Programme. Staff insisted that we have not made any payment, despite having done so a week before. They even showed us a receipt to clarify if it was our signature, yet they still could not be sure if we have made the payment. They did not even give a call to the respective planner/ finance department to clarify. Once it has been verified that we have actually already made the payment (which was only a few days later), an email with a mere apology was sent to us.
3) After emailing a service review on our experience, it seems like our email was taken lightly. It was only after 9 days, when we received a reply from the Quality & Experience manager starting off the email with "thank you for highlighting on the issues. This shows that you care", which is interpreted by many of us as scornful and impertinent. Clearly, they were not apologetic at all for the overdued reply, and for the bad experiences we have faced. The rest of the email contents just came across as "points noted. Thank you bye".
Extremely disappointing for a 5 star hotel.
The coolest setting and relaxation I would recommend and effortlessly
Held my wedding there and the service, location, deco and ambience is just impeccable...
Love the fast and early check-in as an Accorplus member. The turn down service was great! Staff were polite and accommodating. Calls to reception for requests were promptly delivered. Great experience overall. However, the shuttle frequency could be improved as we spent a lot of time waiting for shuttle services around the island. The minibar could have been complimentary considering the price paid. More choices of complimentary drinks at le bar.
Staff were having a face doesn't look approachable. Housekeeping takes a long time to give us extra towel. After housekeeping, toiletries were not topped up.
One of the most luxury hotel in Singapore. Very close with nature, fresh and peaceful atmosphere
Would have given it an even higher rating if not for the freezer I was staying in. Something was wrong with the air con in the suite; but your people just didn't know how to repair it. *The only staff which need to be trained to be more polite are those at the Lounge where the High Tea is served and the older staff of Kuzina for dinner. Having said that, it was such a beautiful place with excellent service that you escaped reality and it didn't feel like living in Singapore at all - and I have travelled the world.
The best resort I've ever been to. The place is perfect for rejuvenation and relaxation. The staff is really helpful and professional. The chef is brilliant. The property is really beautiful and makes it hard to say goodbye to.
One of the best hotel stays we have had as a family
Swimming pool was average, they can increase props and remodel that part
Very nice place. Green and airy. Excellent and efficient service. Too bad you gotta wear a mask... It kinda spoils the experience but kudos for doing their best in the circumstances.
All staff (Tony at Le Bar particularly) were so friendly and helpful. Great quiet spot that is easy to get to other parts of Sentosa. Need to fix the chore of daily login to WiFi.
Check in and Massage
Stayed here with my wife for 2 nights as a staycation as a mini-moon. Service on arrival was prompt, courteous and helpful. We had booked a romantic couples package for two. The massage rooms are fairly dated and it's quite obvious that the facilities need maintenance. Compared with their neighbours Capella, it felt very out-dated and almost shabby. The massage itself was lovely and the post massage dip in the pool was very relaxing/enjoyable. We both ordered the burgers poolside and it was excellent, would give it an 8/10. The bartender was also kind enough to make me a bloody Mary even though it wasn't on the menu. Would give their spa a solid 8/10 with 2 points off only for the exterior of the building and the rooms themselves being slightly dated.
Rooms and Amenities
After our massage we checked in to our rooms. The rooms were spacious enough and neat. Bathrooms were also tidy and spacious with a nice rain shower. Will give the rooms 8/10 with only two marks off because again they seemed rather old and in needing some upgrades in furniture.
Service
Overall the service left a lot to be desired. On two separate occasions we left the room for a rather extended period of time with the "please make my room" light switched on, only to return to the room not having been cleaned. Although once we called ahead and requested for room to be made up, it was done so. Not a major complaint but just something for the hotel to take note.
Service at reception with directions/getting cabs etc was fantastic and very helpful. Overall service. 6/10.
Food
Breakfast
No longer serving all you can eat in this post covid world, we were treated to two complimentary set American Breakfasts. Coffee was cold. Bread basket was cold. Omelette was overcooked. Bacon was burnt. I miss you buffets. Please come back. 3/10
Burger at OSpa - 8/10.
Dinner at The Cliff 2/10. Have left a specific review on their page, please take a look for details.
Overall, I would have to say I was rather disappointed with the stay. Sadly as we aren't allowed to travel in this current climate, we will have to make do with Staycations. However at 500++ per night, one would have to ask whether it is a viable options? I completely understand that the hospitality industry is suffering during this pandemic but so are most people. If the industry wants to keep attracting patrons, they will have to up their standards otherwise it will be exceedingly difficult to convince people to part with their hard-earned money, especially during such economically uncertain times. Overall rating. 5/10.
Food and accommodation is good. Enjoyed the stay at the hotel.
For 5 star the room furnishings seems to have been there since the days of Beaufort.
The staff is not very kind, but overall the hotel is amazing
Great location! Exceptional facilities..a tad bit low on hospitality. But overall amazing stay.
Had a wonderful stay in this property. Gives the impression that one is away for a tropical escapade like in Bali or Phuket.
Don t call yourself 5 star luxury. the service is really bad. make me pay for room charges which i already paid and pre-auth for 500 deposit. Have to check with them three times before they notice the problem. check in process is one of the slowest i hav experienced.
service at the cliff is bad. staffs are not attentive and took them hours to serve lunch and dinner.
Wedding food was not up to standard for such a luxurious place.
great calm and peaceful place. food at the restaurants are great.
Was informed that our room was not ready and had to wait. My baby was fussing and thus we urgently needed the room. Asked the staff at le bar multiple times about our room but nobody responded to us. Ordered 2 macarons and it took 20 minutes to arrive. After an hour, I had to carry my crying baby back to the reception counter to ask about my room, and to my dismay, my key was readily available at the counter but none of the staff informed us at all! Was truly disappointed with the service. We booked the junior suite but was met with poor air conditioning. Asked for help but the maintenance guy took more than half an hour to arrive. He tried to fix it, but it was not any better. We expecting better hospitality and facilities, will not return again.
Love everything about this hotel after a year of renovation and completed in Oct 2015. It is a perfect place to feel life and earth, i would regard this as a palace! Looking forward to my next stay in January :)
