I was really looking forward to this stay at a 6 star hotel but found the hotel did not suit our situation well. We have a 7 year old and 18 month old baby. We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms I found to be very small and not baby friendly, lots of sharp edges and things the baby could get injured on, and not much space. The coffee machine stand was a very awkward shape and awkward to use, and also baby unfriendly as it was so low the baby could reach up and grab cups and things from the work bench. While the hotel provides free shuttle services to Resort World and Vivo city, the main attractions on the island, I felt it was quite islolated from these attractions. The buses were every half hour so we had to ensure we were organised to meet the times, difficult with a young baby. Also the bus did not pick up consistently from Resort World, only if there were people to be dropped off there. So we could make our way there by shuttle bus but was uncertain whether we could back by shuttle bus and took the chance that other hotel guests were getting dropped off there when we wanted to go back to the hotel. Luckily a lot of hotel guests wanted to go there and we were able to catch the shuttle back to the hotel. Otherwise, we would have had to catch the monorail to vivo city and then the bus back, which was a bit more time consuming as the monorail lines were very busy and long. The hotel should seriously reconsider this as a permanent stop as Resort world is one of the main attractions on the island. Everything at the hotel was expensive, we are accor members so did receive a discount on restaurant items. Staff at the restaurant seemed to be very confused with how the discount worked, we had to ask a few staff members who then asked their managers and there still seemed to be some confusion. I think this place would be good for singles or people without children who are after a quiet retreat holiday away from everything, but it wasn't for us.

Excellent Hotel, Large Deep Pool, Beautiful landscaped gardens. Staff were friendly and attentive, Buffet breakfast has a large variety.

Get to the pool early to reserve a covered pool lounge or chair.

Shuttle Bus to Vivo city and other island locations makes getting around very simple.

Marvelous stay in a bustling city. It really a getaway from busy Singapore. They have, and they thought it all, for transportation, they have hotel shuttle bus, on a regular basis go through their hotel and vivo city. We csme from Johor and take the bus to Sentosa, and the hotel pick up point just beside Johor drop off point. And they have shuttle from and to Paragon Mall on Orchard rd.

Things to do : you can have spa (marvelous), you can swim in a quite big pool, and you can have doctor fish "examined" you. Or you can relax at various bar spot.

Design : one thing i notice, it is similar with Bali, with Orange roof, but in Sofitel resort they pay more attention to the luxury and details.

Breakfast : we visit during chinese new year, the hotel staff do a very good job considering a large crowd storming their place, food can be filled pretty quickly, with some exception (dimsum), though i understand because the time for preparation is longer too.

Cleanliness & comfort : the room is clean, no complaint here. The bed's so comfy, we slept well and overslept (usually we're morning riser). It's so good that makes us take a note for the bedsheet brand.

No complaint here, they can keep their reputation well. Good job !

Good environment spoilt by awful service. Platinum benefits was not accorded to status - no welcome drink, no fruit platter, no room upgrade, no personalized welcome letter. Was initially even denied a late check-out at 4pm. Upon query, the reason was initially because booking was under a preferred corporate rate which should all the more be accorded status benefits because of corporate and personal loyalty. The reason later by the duty manager was because status was only presented at check-in and not during booking. I told the check-in staff that I was only going to be in my room at 9pm since I cannot check in early due to room unavailability. This is the most awful experience at a SPG hotel.

A gem of a hotel with a nice pool and delicious food offer. I love the relaxing atmosphere and the many peacocks that stroll around. Staff is high-class. However, cleanliness of my room was clearly deficient!

As usual, the experience was great. We stayed there for the 10th time and even without many complimentary gifts that we have received over the past years, we still enjoyed staying there very much. Two of our favorite things are the room with exit to the gorgeous garden with peacocks and the rich breakfast.
Keep up the good work and you will have us as and our friends as clients for many years to come.

Sofitel Sentosa is a very relaxing place to stay. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The swimming pool is the best pool we have used in hotels all around the world. The hotel shuttle service is a great way to get to Vivocity which is a launching pad for anywhere you want to go in Singapore. The restaurant and Le Bar are relaxed and of good quality.

Managed to get a cheeky staycation during Phase 2. Great service and a lot more quiet than last time we were here!

The staff are fantastic, seeing what they have to go through to ensure everyone is adhering to social distancing etc.

Honest, quite poor expericence. I arrived at hotel at 4 pm, but until 5 pm, the room is still in preparation. Though I am satisfied with the reception's attitude, but the result impacted my plan a lot.

Fantastic location, very good and hard-working service staff! Very clean and high quality hotel. Unfortunately, the competence of the staff in the reception for our concerns or questions was not always given, which irritated us at a five star hotel. We want to come back in any case!

Oh wow, what a beautiful stay here. We stayed for about 5 or 6 nights for our honeymoon, it was lovely. The staff are super friendly and kind. We had an nice upgrade to a "suite" which was wonderful for our honeymoon experience. They had a nice decorative setup with food drink and cute little heart swans in the room saying congratulations and happy honeymoon. Nice touch. The hotel itself is great, nice pool, quiet tranquil environment. It is not "adult only" which is the only shame. The hotel has a spa which you can make appointments with however its quite expensive. The buffet breakfast was amazing, eggs cooked to order sort of amazing. The location is great, shuttle buses to all the local attractions and major transport hubs. There's nice boardwalks down to local beaches through the trees. All in all I would happily stay here again honeymoon or not. 5/5!

The place is very big. The beds and rooms were very clean! The peacocks at the resort were very friendly too. It was very relaxing. But the gym and swimming pool was very far away from our room. We had to drive out to get to the gym. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Update Nov 2020: Another stay during Covid times. I downgrade the rating three stars. Despite the hotel being maybe 25% full we were given a basement room overlooking the carpark. When complaining they gave us a better room. The hotel is clearly showing its age and I get the impression that there is a lot of penny pinching.

When checking in, I told them it was our wedding anniversary. The response was. "Sorry that we did not prepare anything for your anniversary". What does that mean in English? It turned out to mean "Sorry our policy is not to do anything for wedding anniversaries".

Here you have a hotel that must be suffering during Covid and they do nothing to pamper customers. What about providing some free chocolate in the room? Or two free softdrinks in the mini-bar?

The location is still tranquil and nice, just don't expect any top experience. On the plus the Italian restaurant actually had nice food (but very oily and sugary and no bread). Stay away from the Kwee Zine restaurant which is catastrophically bad.

I really like this place as a banquet hall. It's comfortable, the food is amazing, and the service is pretty good, or at least the time that I was there. Although it's relatively smaller and pricey, I really like how you can achieve a very intimate experience because of it. You get free toll entrance if you're able to quote the name of the couple or show the invitation, so all is good on the costing side, even for guests.

Lovely resort and staff were great. We achieved our aim with a 3 night stopover after 3 or more weeks of touring in Europe - great relaxing stay.
However, I am not sure whether we would go again given the cost of food and drinks

Enjoyed my stay here despite the covid related restrictions.

My only point for possible improvement is the little to no place to sit and relax at night other then the restaurant or your room. The pool closes at 7pm, it looks beautiful at night with all the ambient lights but its closed and no possibility to sit next to the pool to enjoy.

The room assigned to us with a shared door to the next room, and the next door guests made great noise from 10:30 pm to 3 am, just sounds like a group of people shouting next to your ear; which wakes us up and I almost had no sleep that night. As the result of no sleep, our day plan is totally ruined because we are all tired. what a disappointed stay.

The hotel other public areas is good, 2 negative areas, 1st my room(469), bathroom flooring is in bad condition, water everywhere, I'm not sure if there is leaking from bath tub or any other place... it's not just wet alone... can be considered small flooding, spend almost 1/4 to 1/3 of my stay there drying the bathroom. This alone makes my stay unpleasant, the other one is not so bad but just some feedback, breakfast buffet staff might not be enough, cutlery not enough, no glass for drinking , no spoon for eating and no coffee or tea....

I'm frequent of Sofitel Manila and I can say this is a different experience. Sofitel SG has a resort feel to it but still enjoy the luxury of a hotel. The pool is big but very deep (2.4m) and kids mostly stay on the stairs side (1.4m after stairs). There are a lot of peacock and myna bird walking around which will snap your food when you are not looking at them. They aren't harming the kids though.
Breakfast in the restaurant is goos too although nothing beats Spiral in Manila (has more variety).

Visited Capella last year, thought it was great, I think Sofitel ambience feel more idyllic and cosy. The human centricity is better with all the low covered link-ways. I love the slanting Frangipans.

Fish Spa is the main reason why my boys requested to be back.
We love the heated swimming pool which lots of sun.
Thanks for the beautiful memories

**AVOID THIS PLACE IS YOU PAY BY DEBIT CARD OR HAVE KIDS*

We booked a Hotel pick up from the Airport, arrived on time at the airport and had to wait 45 minutes for the pick up to arrive, and that was after 2 phone calls.
No apology from drinking vet or hotel staff.

Arrived and paid by debit card, the front desk explained that they need a deposit but if they take it on debit card it will take months to have it refunded so best I use a credit card, I explained I don t have one so they told me I had to pay cash everywhere in the Hotel as they basically don t trust Hotel guests.
So I asked where I could leave money while I swam so I could pay for drinks and food cash(as they don t trust guest with signing it to the room). They told me I had to take cash there at my own risk.

No children s pool as it s 1.4 meters deep minimum.

So basically zero facilities for kids.

They have a shuttle service to get to universal studios but it will drop you off but will not pick you up. What s the point of the shuttle then?

Stay somewhere else if you can, use this place as A very very last resort

Also they don t serve any food by the pool.

location is on an island . so depending on individual whether its good or not. do note that at night it could be difficult to get around especially after 11pm as most public transport start to end. its partial isolation is also one of the reason the place is very peaceful and rejuvenating.

it offers late night food by the hotel. breakfast is also great with wide range of food and they taste great too!

there were a couple of hiccups and each and everytime im impressed by their way of service recovery. so i would said i was very satisfied. and would like to compliment shumue ( based on memory i think her name is spelled like tt) , the duty manager for ensuring that my partner and i have a wonderful stay.

others:
if u book the junior suite u enjoy their spa facilities such as mud pool and private pool.

what i like most is the fish spa. probably its my first time doing it. their pool is also very deep, 3m!

would visit this place again!

Sofitel Sentosa has given us an excellent service. It starts from the reception, the garden, the shuttle service, the staffs, the pool, and finally the rooms. All the facilities are designed smartly.

Instead of checking in at 3pm, we only managed to check in after 5pm. However, thanks for making arrangement for us to have a drink at the lounge and visit the garden spa while waiting. Staff are generally polite but not able to provide correct advice (for some). In addition, our USS ticket was not delivered as per advice and we got to go to the concierge to ask for it (was told that it will be delivered to our room but it didn't happen). The room is clean with nice decoration. However the room allocated doesn't have any view and there are insects crawling around (maybe because it's at level 1). The 2 seats outside the "balcony" seemed redundant. Breakfast was decent too but the egg counter was quite busy thus the egg wasn't up to standard (unfortunately).

The high quality experience starts as you walk into the lobby through a semi open square arched vestibule. It continues for all of your time here.

Clearly, the hotel is keen to provide to all your needs and you don't have to leave if here for a few days (maybe walk to the beach across the road). If you want to escape from Sentosa then just use a Grab.

The food is good to very good, but not outstanding for the region and comparable hotels.

Place looks fantastic. Was here for a wedding lunch. Ballroom looks great, decors are beautiful. Food was good for banquet. This should be one of the places you consider if you want to hold a wedding.

Had quite a bumpy stay. I was doing some work in the room and realised the wooden chair I sat was bit shaky. Never did I expect one of the legs actually broke and I fell on my bum. Called the hotel and the manager was very helpful who came right to my room within 5mins with first aid kit box. I have to say she did very well in terms of service recovery and was very apologetic of the incident.
Otherwise, had a good stay at Sofitel Sentosa. The staffs are courteous and helpful. Loves the ambiance and surroundings of the hotels.
Food is ok and can do better at Kwee Zeen.
Swimming pool could be more thoroughly clean. Lots of dirt at the bottom of the pool.
It will also help if the resort can actually provide a shuttle service around Sentosa.

Great if pricey Saturday buffet. Would gladly go again but only occasionally. Too much of a temptation to massively overeat as all influences on Singaporean cuisine are represented and beautifully presented.

Lower 5 star quality hotel. Good size rooms, well furnished. Food is average which is a surprise for a French chain hotel. Cliffs restaurant had no cheeses as advertised, just mozzarella at lunch. Room service meals comes wrapped in cling film so fries and burger buns come to you soggy. Mostly let down by poor reception with no explanation about the hotels facilities on arrival. The Accor hotels app useless, checked in day before asking for baby cot and to see if we could check in early. Reception not informed by request. Got to room. No cot.

Spa treatments very overpriced. My wife was not told about spa facilities on arrival for treatment so wasn t able to take advantage of the extra experiences on offer afterwards.

Service was exceptional, room was perfect, hotel grounds/ facilities were amazing and food was excellent!

They even had a cake and birthday card for my daughter waiting in the room for us after a day out.

Have stayed here last year as well where the experience was just as good.

I ll definately be back next year for our yearly holiday to Singapore!

The facilities were very good and the room excellent. We found that the concierges had differing advice on the same subject and both were not correct. Which made our connecting to a tour difficult.
Also the shuttle goes through and stops at the Resort World centre and then on to Vivo City in the day. So you would believe it does the same thing all day. There was no written details stating this does not happen. We spent half hour waiting for shuttle in Resort World and then got told by casino parking staff it does not come through in evening. And to catch a bus to island but there is no connecting bus on island that regularly comes to Sofitel. Hence we ended back at Resort world and had to start again. It took us 2 hours to get from the Resort World to hotel and then we had to WALK on the road when got off bus on island to hotel. The hotel needs to be clear in instructions on how this shuttle service works and not do a route physically daily and then change when it wants without guest having full written or verbal information. as the shuttle card does not explain route been changed through the day. We could not use a taxi as had no proof staying at hotel to get through island gate. So we did not have a very good day due to this lack of information and did put a negative on our stay with your hotel.

My wife and I came back to the hotel where we held our wedding dinner 5 years ago. It has not lost its luxury spa charm.

The room was tastefully decorated, the bed was plush and the bathroom's rain shower was wonderfully decadent. There is a small downhill path that leads from the swimming pool to the beachfront. The spa and gym are located in a separate building across the road (You can call for a buggy if you are that lazy). The breakfast buffet at Kwee Zeen is your standard international spread (It's easy to miss the Asian food options in the al fresco area). There are many peacocks that have made the hotel premises their home and walk about without any fear of humans.

Overall, definitely a place I will come back to for a short staycation.

Good.

Been an accor member for years, way before sofitel comes under according group. Previously, the service staff are friendly and seems eager to serve you. But now, it seems to be more stuck up. Most probably because hotels under accor group have grown much bigger and reputable over the years?? Stayed 2 different hotels under accor group this year and got this conclusion.
Most disappointing incident during stay at sofitel sentosa, on the day of check out in the morning, requested twice for shower gel and shampoo but it never came at all. End up didn't shower and just check out.

We went here with our family. It is the best hotel I know. It is located on the island sentosa and has a bus going from the hotel to the vivo city mall. The breakfast was very nice. Its great for trips with the family because there's a lot of free space. It has a great short way to the beach too and a nice swimming pool.
