Parts arrived however they do not fit. NOT MY MISTAKE.
Rockauto will refund me the price of the parts but not the shipping costs (both ways) . Losing over $61. User beware!!!

Generally I am very pleased with both price and service from Rockauto. Recently I needed a drive shaft for my daughters Subaru and notes in the catalog said the shaft I needed was only 17 inches long when the picture showed a full length shaft assembly. I tried to talk to someone who could verify this and it was almost impossible to talk to anyone. Finally got someone on the phone and he blew me off. I took a chance and ordered anyway and did receive the full length driveshaft. My only complaint. All other parts I've ordered, dozens of items over 2 years, have been spot on.

I would give 0 stars if I could. First, the wrong part was ordered because it was mislabeled on the site. I ordered some brake rotors for my f250 with the 4600 lb front axle. When I received them, they did not fit. After laying to have them returned, they informed me I needed to have shipped them back in the manufacturers original packaging which was damaged beyond any recognition in the first shipping. So now I have two options: pay 50 dollars to send them back to me so they can sit in my garage forever because they don t fit. Or they will keep them and dispose of them . I guarantee they will repackage them and sell them next week. See you in hell Rock Auto.

Now, I know why it's called "Rockauto." Before the iron age, there was the bronze age; and before the bronze age was the rock age. "Rockauto" began in an ancient time period known as the rock age. It's amazing that a business in the 21st century doesn't have an actual phone number. The telephone has been around since the early 1900s. I am ordering a car part, not a covered wagon and horse. WHY can't you call me back on the telephone! I don't want an automated message. I don't want an email. I want to talk to a real PERSON on a real PHONE line. Rockauto has a fake phone number that goes only to an automated message. Anyway, I bought a Remy alternator that went bad before the 12 month warranty. I asked Rockauto to expedite the shipping since it was their fault for sending me a bad alternator. I don't have a car to drive. I need the replacement now. What does Rockauto do? They closed my email ticket so that I could not contact them on this issue. They would not call me, and of course there is no PHONE number for customer service. I filed a complaint with the BBB. I have revoked my business from Rockauto until the day I die.

Ordered 16 gas lift shocks. 5 of the 6 AMS 4644 gas shocks I ordered for my motor home basement doors from Rock Auto UNIVERSAL PARTS section! The shocks per AMS web site were supposed to be closed 12" open 20" 1 came in correct (made in Turkey) the other 6 did not and would only close to 14". They didn't even have the same UPC code so my doors would not close, but because the Hawkins MOTOR HOME was not a listed vehicle the UNIVERSAL parts would fit, Rock said it was NOT RETURNABLE. Have been a customer for 10 years but if they don't fix this I will start a CC charge back. This is a rip off, you can not contact them by phone, email or via web site to solve an issue like this.

Good morning I sent an email to RockAuto Staton he had an issue with the strut we needed a left one not another right one another right one because they claim my husband ordered it under a warranty he even spoke to somebody at RockAuto and they told him he could get a life once he wanted a Laughlin we're all we ask for is a left front for a change for the right one that we got we did not realize when we place the order that you needed to order a left and a right front which was our are in Arby's I will admit that on my behalf but when we try to record you guys made him how to do it under a warranty or a warranty is when a item is defective or a went out under special circumstances whatever that's what I want is for naught to exchange the item you guys are wrong all he want is in exchange he's not asking for his money back he just wanted. I ordered struts/ shocks for my Toyota Camry. I purchased all 4, spent over $400 for kyb full assembly. RockAuto sent a wrong strut for the front right side. When asked to exchange them for the correct ones they didn t honor my request. After a while they stopped replying to my emails and they never pick up their phone. Overall horrible experience, now I know to spend a few bucks more and do business elsewhere. Terrible business practices.

I only give a 1 star because there is mo -1 the clutch kit I received for my 1990 Dodge 250 was inferior. The pressure plate was 85 grams out of balance and would not balance. due to time constraints I had to buy another kit. Rock Auto would not return my money but would replace the kit. I am out approximately $1000.00 and down time.

It is a pity that many parts are sent through different warehouses and it therefore sometimes makes shipping to Europe more expensive than the parts.

I have purchased many times with RockAuto and for the most part have been satisfied with parts and quality. I ordered recently and recieved the wrong part even with my VIN # . Now I must pay for the return shipping and all the bullshit hassle. My suggestion is that you buy small parts that they hopefully cant screw up on the order. I want a refund and am afraid they tell customers to GGF'd on refunds. It appears that way. I'll let you know the results

ON MAY 11,2016 I SPECIFICALLY ORDERED AND PAID FOR REAR HUB BEARING ASSEMBLY FOR MY VEHICLE. WHEN I TOOK THE CAR TO THE AUTO MECHANIC TO HAVE THEM REPLACED, THEY NOTICE THAT ALTHOUGH THE PARTS WERE PLACED IN A REAR HUB BEARING BOX, THE PARTS INSIDE THE BOX WERE FOR THE FRONTS HUB BEARING. ALTHOUGH THE AUTO SHOP WILL COMPENSATE ME FOR DOING SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE DONE, ROCK AUTO STATED THAT BECAUSE I DID NOT CHECK TO MAKE SURE IT WAS THE CORRECT PART BEFORE THEY WERE INSTALLED, THEY WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PAY ME THE DIFFERENCE FOR THE COST OF THE REAR HUB BREARING FOR THE PART BECAUSE THEY WOULD HAVE TO REFUND ME $60. I WILL BE TAKING THIS MATTER TO COURT, BECAUSE THE TOTAL COST THAT WAS PAID TO ROCKAUTO WAS $169.58 FOR FRONT HUB BREARINGS, WHEN IN FACT THE COST FOR FRONT HUBS ARE 58.79. THE SAME ISSUE HAPPENED BACK IN 2014 ACCORDING TO ONE OF THE COMPANY'S EMPLOYEES (JEAN/JAMIEE).

I wasn't refunded for my shipping charges which I paid extra for next day to keep my customer happy. Now I am out $50, the right part, and a customer. Thanks for nothing Rock Auto

first off let me start by saying that I'm someone who values phone customer service and even though they don't have it and it was a little harder going thru the process, it was well worth it! as a first-time shopper at RockAuto I am totally impressed with their customer service even though it was through email I bought some transmission lines for my 2007 Chevy trailblazer they all came within 3 days they were missing one little e-clip I shot them a note and I had a brand new line in in two days that is phenomenal customer service and quality parts at a fantastic price this place is awesome and they have everything!! Very impressed and recommend ROCKAUTO now to all I know !!ACDelco parts for less than half the price of what a neighborhood retailer would have sold it to me for

I bought defective rotors (out of spec) that were installed by a mechanic of 40 years. I called and was belittled by customer service rep by the name of "JOE" and I was told I didnt do a proper install and break in period on the new rotors. I informed them that a licensed profession mechanic did the installation, who then called me and told me to call rock auto. I then told JOE that the problem existed prior to me even picking up the car. I then received an email stating the proper intstallation of brakes and rotors which insulted my mechanic and his 40+ years of experience. I am currently filing a complaint with the Wisconsin Department of Trade and Consumer Protection. Joe is assuming that I did not have this professional done and that we as consumer are ignorant. I worked for a international car manufacture for a number of years and I know and seen defective parts for cars on a DAILY basis. I would highly reconsider saving a few dollars at rock auto and go elsewhere. I am now being forced to buy and pay for installation of all four brakes and rotors due to this problem. Things may have been different if my mechanic and I was not insulted but this JOE!!!!!!

They don't want to get their feelers hurt over the phone. What a joke! Support your local auto parts store. I had an awful customer service experience with this company. It started where you can only contact someone by email. Their representatives are completely inflexible and unreasonable. I had a negative experience trying to return parts and recovering a core fee. I am in a situation where my billing and shipping address are different. Rock auto claims they provide discounted shipping labels. However, buyer beware, that is only if the two address match up. This is not disclosed anywhere. In my situation, I paid $55 in shipping to recover a $70 core fee. I also had other parts to return and all needed to be returned to different outlets. In total, I spent $250 in shipping to get $500 back. Despite several attempts to come to a reasonable compromise, there was no reasonable understanding or flexibility. I acknowledge that I should have to pay return costs, but the amount is prohibitive and their customer service is horrible. In retrospect, I should have just kept the parts for future repairs or resale. I will not be a returning customer.

I am not happy with this company at all. When it comes to returning parts or dealing with warranty issues passed 30 days is the biggest hassle. This company does nothing for their customers. For example to even call the company you have to google search rock auto customers service number. No where on the website can you find the phone number. When you do find the number you will talk to some low life they hired to answer the phone and have you do all the work. They wont even process a return for you. Then when you want to speak to a manager they tell you its not an option to just be transferred to a manager. You can't even leave the manager a voicemail! That is a bit alarming to me. Instead you give them your phone number/name and wait for the manager to call you at his convenience. What kind of customers service do these people think we deserve? This company is right they will have most of the parts your car will ever need but not all like they claim on t.v. what they won't have is the customers best interest or care in mind. They are out to make money and that is it.

Couldn't get the parts I required from the Vauxhall Main Dealer in UK & still waiting after almost a month. Went to RockAuto and they are on my doorstep in 8 days from ordering to arrival. Whole experience was perfect - easy ordering, very good tracking and speedy delivery. They were also $4 cheaper including delivery to UK. Amazing!
You guys should teach customer service to my local dealer. Will certainly recommend RockAuto and return in the future.
Even better was that parts arrived despite the busy holiday season AND before I have a rather long journey tomorrow.

Never again. Recieved bent, damaged fuel lines, followed rock auto's return instructions to a T. Contacted customer service and was told I would only be getting half of the shipping costs($54) returned. Agent said I should have called first despite instructions saying to ship item back, then input tracking #. 24 year dealer technician, will never buy from this place again.

They sent me the wrong part and after returning the part to them they would not refund my money because I did not return the part in the original packaging. The wrong part was displayed on their website and did not fit my vehicle. They used a technicality to not refund my $ after the wrong part was displayed on their website and was sent to me. They also wanted to charge me for shipping the wrong part back to them. There's plenty of other vendors out there. I strongly recommend not getting involved with Rockauto, not user friendly at all.

I have bought from them for over 4 years and never had any issues. When I do have an issue it take two weeks from the original order date and you cannot talk to anyone . I called Fedex the day they said it was delivered (fresh snow on ground no foot prints, was not delivered) dealt with them for a week then they said I had to talk to the company I purchased from. Maybe I should have done that right away as all the computer prompts say they take another week. I have a broken car for two weeks and have change appointments due to this. I should have just bought from a local store and I would have been back driving right away. Learned my lesson do not buy online if you actually need something in a timely manner.

I have an F150 2015 XLT. Close to a year ago I purchased what I understood was OEM brake pads. The front seem like they have a lot of dust but I was never thrilled with the original amount of dust so I figured ok. There was a lot of meat on the pads so I held off replacing the rear. I went to do that this week. There are small nipples on the original that set the shim in place. The new pads have what looks like rivets that are not long enough to hold the shim. I asked for replacements and just received them. They are the same as the original pads I received. I tried to get customer service and can't find it. I did find this. I think the front ones are ok so a mix of stars. I don't think I will be using them again. I just paid shipping to return pads and received the same pads back. I do not think I will be ordering from them again. Good service with sending the return. Still have the same problem. I do not want to spend more so will be eating the cost. I am not happy.

Read all of this BEFORE YOU BUY from Rock Auto. I'm a homeowner trying to fix up my daughter's car and found Rock Auto to have the parts I needed at a reasonable price. After receiving the parts I was not ready to open the large box until several months later. Upon doing so, I found they sent me 2 of the same part rather than 1 front & 1 rear. One of the parts had 2 stickers (1 saying front & 1 sticker saying rear bumper) within inches of each other. Rock Auto would NOT honor their own error. I sent all the pics they asked for and they still would not make good on their screw up. Here's what they offered: I pay ($135) to send the wrong part back, I buy the new replacement part ($188), pay another ($135) again to ship the new part & we'll give you a store credit for the wrong part after we receive it!!! All this after I paid $197 for the right part, $188 for the wrong part & $137 shipping the wrong part. I'm tired of my fate being in the hands of IDIOTS! Good bye & good luck Rock Auto! Never again!! Anybody need a rear bumper skin for an 03 ML350?
