I bought defective rotors (out of spec) that were installed by a mechanic of 40 years. I called and was belittled by customer service rep by the name of "JOE" and I was told I didnt do a proper install and break in period on the new rotors. I informed them that a licensed profession mechanic did the installation, who then called me and told me to call rock auto. I then told JOE that the problem existed prior to me even picking up the car. I then received an email stating the proper intstallation of brakes and rotors which insulted my mechanic and his 40+ years of experience. I am currently filing a complaint with the Wisconsin Department of Trade and Consumer Protection. Joe is assuming that I did not have this professional done and that we as consumer are ignorant. I worked for a international car manufacture for a number of years and I know and seen defective parts for cars on a DAILY basis. I would highly reconsider saving a few dollars at rock auto and go elsewhere. I am now being forced to buy and pay for installation of all four brakes and rotors due to this problem. Things may have been different if my mechanic and I was not insulted but this JOE!!!!!!
