At times it's the most worthless place to buy auto parts . Be careful has delivery is nothing to talk about . The parts sold many times have a defect and to return defected parts well you find out for your self . I started buying elsewhere paiding a few dollars more but one thing for sure parts get deliver on time and the quality of the parts is much better .

Rock Auto has a unique website that makes finding and ordering the right part a breeze. Lots of auto parts sites seem to have all used the same 3rd party software; not Rock Auto--their site allows me to make core returns, product selections, even co-ordinate shipping centers for the best prices, all without need for outside help. I love the photos and info provided for each part too. Since I've found them, I tried a few times to bring business to the local stores, but Rock Auto has the information and the price that can't be matched locally.

I wouldn't order parts from anywhere else unless they didn't have the parts. Smooth, hustle free transactions, from placing orders to streamlined returns at unbeatable prices.

I have been buying auto parts from Rockautos for quite sometime. Mostly, what is mentioned online is what you get. What I am also interested in is to also choice to buy genuine parts.
Their service so far have been good. Until recently when I paid extra for quick delivery, I was desperate to receive my parts at the beginning or atleast in the middle of the day (Friday) to get my car fixed by the end of the day instead of wasting whole weekend. Parts arrived in the evening when workshops had been closed. It was frustrating. Please follow up on such delivery issues. You are doing good business overall.

Also, I don t know why your review writing feature is so secretly hidden in your website. When you are doing your best. Make it easily accessible for your customers.

I haven't ordered that many times from RockAuto and this is the second order with a problem. This time instead of 3 boxes of H9407 (the correct Carlson bleeder screws), I received 2 boxes of H9407 and 1 box of H1457.
My first order problem was receiving some obviously used lug nuts. I needed them for a job that weekend, so replacements from RockAuto forced me to pay for overnight shipping.....even though the error was RockAuto's. I would have more trust in RockAuto right now if you would have paid for the mistake.
This time, thankfully, I don't have an urgent need for these bleeder screws, so waiting replacements is not a problem.
You obviously have some significant warehouse/order picking issues. I hope you find some resolution so I can trust placing orders with you at some point in the future, but for now I will likely continue ordering only non-critical items from RockAuto.

This company does not stand behind the parts they sell. Even though they claim you can depend on the quality parts they sell. Its all a scam. Bought timing belt and component kit for my husbands work car. Well the parts failed and bent valves and tore up the head on his car. Unfortunately they will not pay for the damage the faulty parts caused. Terrible business practices. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! IF THE PARTS FAIL YOU CAN BE OUT YOUR CAR. PERMANENTLY!

I've ordered several parts from RoackAuto recently and have found their pricing to be very competitive in my online searches. The website is very easy to navigate and gives a wide range of part choices and price ranges. Deliveries have been earlier than the Estimated delivery dates even when specifying the lowest cost shipping method. Returning the O^2 sensor that I ordered the wrong p/n of was almost and easier process than ordering; I filled out a couple fields on the Return form and immediately had an RMA# issued.

Very easy website to buy parts from.All you need is year,make,and model to find your part.The exploded diagrams with part #'s help greatly.Purchased an entire exhaust system for my daughter's Camry and received it in 3 days.Also,the price was much better than I could do locally.I'll use them again.

Attention all Rockauto requires you to pay for return shipping if a part breaks under warranty or if they send you the wrong part. In the case you send the part back you have to wait for them to receive the part than they will ship the warranty replacement, Hopefully you or your customer do not need the vehicle for a week or 2. rock auto also offers a addition option you can buy the replacement part and they will reimburse you the cost of the part once they receive the broken warranty item and you are still response for shipping. This review is based on my person experience and is not meant to effect rockauto as a whole.

Ordered MOOG parts for my vehicle, package arrived in a timely manner. When it came to changing the parts, the parts were unpacked and realized they were used parts. On the upside submitted a warranty claim for the parts and was able to get replacements for them. Unfortunately I will not be ordering parts from the again due to the above, too much time wasted and should have just given me a full refund.

I broke a wiper arm trying to change the wiper blades on my 2012 Hyundai Genesis. Yes it was pretty dumb on my part. I looked for a replacement wiper arm and found one on RockAuto. In less than a week the new arm arrived along with new blades. A perfect fit with Hyundai factory parts. I saved more than 50% over the price of anyone else.

purchased a centric master cylinder for a 1969 Chrysler, brake pedal was never firm. bleed mc traditional way with1 person pumping other bleeding at wheel cylinder/clapier. tried gravity bleeding. tried pressure bleeding with compressed air. tried bleeding with vacuum pump at bleeder screws. always had marginal brake pedal. had power brake booster overhauled. still same mc issues. was told by rock auto that my order was over 100 days ago and that it was only warranty
for 90 days. was told that they have a rebuild kit for the mc,$21. a 47 year old car is not driven that much ,would like to have them send another. good prices,but not like dealing with your local parts dealer. MH.

Years ago this is the only place l will purchase auto parts from, the speed of shipping was great now its terrible, it takes forever to get your parts and when you pay their shipping costs it should arrive in a timely manner, not now l buy from Ebay most items are free shipping and arrive in a timely matter, Rockauto lost my respect and don't care never respond, hey not every business last forever, Rockauto needs to listen to the customer.

If you know you're going to need something for your car and are planning a major repair . RockAuto is the place to go ! They have everything from original equipment brands to high quality after market brands. They even have economy brands . Something for everyone's budget. I have been ordering my parts from RockAuto for many years now and have yet to receive the wrong part for my vehicles. That's major! If I could change one thing it would be the discount that they offer When you're a consistent customer. Someone checked the email and decided to resolve the issue.

RockAuto has automated customer service so when they make a mistake on your order you can't get the issue resolved because their system will reject your email and tell you the issue is resolved. RockAuto sent me a part unrelated to my order because someone there mistakenly printed two shipping labels and placed one on someone else's order. The mistaken package was delivered shipping due so, I am stuck with a part for a car I don't own and I am out the shipping cost. RockAuto doesn't have a telephone so you can't get past the automated rejection system to discuss the issue with a human.

My brother in law is a mechanic; he swears RockAuto's prices are unbeatable, so it's where I go to buy parts. So far their shipping has also been incredibly fast (well ahead of "expected" dates provided on the site)!

Working on cars and trucks most my life I was so glad to learn of Rock Auto. It's hard to say how much money they have save me over the last few years. The whole front of my freezer is covered with the magnetic stickers of cars and trucks people have restored using Rock Auto. I have parts I need to order for my next project. It is a Ford 2006 F350 5.4 gas engine. Was waiting on a 5-10 percent discount. :)

Where do I start...
First, this company has horrible customer service.
Second, they have no business selling in Canada.
I ordered Rotors and Pads and paid for express shipping. I placed an order on Sunday and got a confirmation that my order had shipped on Saturday.
I received a confirmation letter stating I would receive my parts that Tuesday and included a tracking number. Tuesday rolls around and I track the package as I never received it. DHL s site said the package hadn t been picked up...
I email Rockauto (as they have no customer care number) and ask about the package. They told me they have up to 10 business days to deliver the package despite me paying for International Express Shipping which is 2 business days.
I asked if they could check with the warehouse to ensure the package was shipped. Rock auto responded our system says it has . I asked a second time if they could insure the warehouse had shipped it as DHL s site said they hadn t. They just repeated their system says it has and DHL missed the scan.
I contacted DHL of course and they told me a truck hadn t even been to Rockauto that week.
Long story short 2 weeks after the I placed my order they refunded me a smaller amount than I paid and claimed it was the currency conversion. (Which hasn t changed). I wouldn t recommend any Canadian order parts from Rockauto. They are clearly incompetent!

Rockauto is the best, the parts arrive at the maximum two days of ordering and most importantly at lower prices than in the common parts, I highly recommend it. Greetings.

I have had a great experience over time with Rock Auto. Service is excellent. Returns have never been a problem as the only time I have had to return a part was due to "my error" in ordering the wrong part and still they accepted the return without a problem. Delivery has always been prompt. Quality of parts have always been good. I would and have recommended Rock Auto to a great many people.

On large parts, shipping cost can be prohibitive.

Really cheap prices for what you need but they shipped me the wrong part now I need to ship it back and wait for a refund and wait for the right part to come in so much time wasted when I need this car to go been sitting for a week now and now I have to wait another week works great if you need something you can wait for other wise wouldn't do it

Ok so I ordered parts on the 7/7/16 at 11:15 am and got my parts on 7/8/16 at about 9 am WOW. I have never gotten any shipment that fast ever. Rock Auto is faster then special order parts form the local parts store and let me tell you about the packing they make damn sure your parts will not get damaged in shipping I could not believe how much packing material was in the boxes wow. Rock Auto is the best in my book no more Ebay for me.

Long time customer at Rockauto. I've ordered from here for the last 7 years. They've made changes recently that make shipping difficult to deal with and they've reduced customer service to almost non existent.
I had a shipping issue with parts from them, I could not get any sort of resolution from within rockauto, many times not getting a response at all from customer service. I had to go to the bank account used for the purchase to request my refund and rockauto is still trying to charge me for items/shipping I didn't receive. Time to find a new supplier.

just got my pass/side mirror that came in 3 days.....the original order said that it didn't come with a puddle lite, well it did ...looks just like the factory part and installed in 15 minutes....couldn't be happier.....thanx rock auto for coming through again....

Easy to get what you need and fairly short turnaround as long as you're not In a hurry.

I have found they have more selections on most parts than most parts houses and have the best prices. They need to have better trained phone service representatives as I have had a couple people who were weak in a/c knowledge.

Great Service + Great Prices = Excellent Value!

I've never been disappointed by the service at RockAuto. Whether ordering online or calling to get help finding the right part, they "rock" the "auto" parts business!

I am joining the unfortunate ranks of non-returning customers of RockAuto. I ordered a distributor cap and rotor for my truck and instead received Marshall Meiser's fuel filter for his Corolla. I talked to what I was told was the manager who WOULD NOT give me free expedited shipping to get the part I need to get to work. When asked if $40 would make or break the business, I was told that it would over time. Well, if the business could get their act together better and not continually send the wrong part, they wouldn't have to worry about it. I still need the part, but RockAuto can sleep better tonight knowing they will never have me yell at them over the phone again, since I will no longer be supporting their business. After many years of correct parts and hundreds of dollars of my money spent, they've lost me. Keep up the good work.

They carry just about every part and prices are very good. Their parts breakdown is UNMATCHED. Shipping cost can be a negative but still competitive.

The part I ordered was top quality and WAY cheaper than anywhere else. That actually worried me at first...cheap can't be good...right? wrong here! It also arrived a day ahead of schedule which puts the work truck back in business a day earlier.

Sent me two different ball joints when I ordered my moog ball joints. Looked it up and they are aware of the problem but don't care. They will refund me for the price but not shipping and can't guarantee that they can sell me the part they advertised. It's "not their problem" because it's the same part number. The three five balljoint they sent me instead is obviously lower quality than the moog one... I just spent $500 on parts, I should be able to get what was advertised.

Not to mention the one moog ball joint they did send me came in crushed taped up packaging missing the castle nut. Just here hoping that someone from Rockauto reads this and realizes they just lost a customer for good.

I ordered some parts from Rock Auto as usual they arrived several days earlier than the expected ship date. they go out of there way to get your parts to you. there service is top notch. everything was packaged securely. Purchased Moog K3161T ball joints and received both. The problem was there is a new and old design. I received one of each. Wanting the new, improved design, I attempted to get a matching pair. After two emails with customer service, my ticket was closed out where there was no way to communicate.
Customer Service stated they were both designed to fit the vehicle. I attempted to explain that with the old design, the axle shaft needed to be removed to grease the ball joint where the new design located the zert in a different location. I again was told both were designed to fit. A steel wheel and an aluminum wheel will both fit, but I still would not put one of each on my Jeep.

The best solution to overpriced local auto parts! I recommend RockAuto on a daily basis. Happy with "All" my purchases. And confidant everyone I recommend RockAuto to will be happy also. Haven't received any negative reports from my friends.
