Unless it's an emergency I always order my parts from RockAuto.

I purchased a defective part that ended up costing major damage to my motor when it failed, and all they would offer is a replacement part. Why would I trust to by from them again??? Return policy it terrible and I feel they really don't care about their customers.

Ever since I switched to Rock Auto as my go-to parts connection I have saved literally hundreds of dollars even though they charge for shipping. I get premium parts for close to half of what my locals charge so shipping becomes irrelevant. Thanks for being in business folks! If I need it right now of course I use my local stores, otherwise RAP is it for me! I will always be a customer.

These guys are awesome to deal with. Fast shipping, and best prices around. Usually half to a third the price of dealership parts. Its my go to for any parts I need that aren't performance related.

Returns are a nightmare. We ordered window motors & they are not the right one's even though they said they would fit the vehicle. By the time we contacted them it was over 30 days & they refuse to help at all.

Ordered a part that checks out with every single parameter that they have listed. It does not state that it will not work on the vehicle unless it has original equipment parts. This completely negates buying parts from them that are OE compatible. This could not be determined until the part was out of the box and an attempt to install had been made. The part is PHYSICALLY too large to fit.

The person on the phone is NO BETTER THAN going to a local store and having another person look at a computer and read things they can recite, but not understand. After being a customer for years, never again.

Worst customer service ever, surly and argumentative employees . Very misleading shipping quote and failed to mention that parts would be drop shipped. At Rock Auto the customer is always wrong. Do yourself a favor spend a few more bucks and buy at a local parts store.

Will not let me do a return! Then when I call the person I talked to will not help me at all! Said I had to do it all online but it will not let me online. No customer service! Stay away! Do not buy from them!

Rock Auto has been my go-to place to buy parts for years now. I've always loved the classic layout of their website, and I can appreciate the fact that they have kept it simple for all these years. But that isn't the only reason why I love this website so much. The prices for the parts are the best in the world, and they don't try to overcharge you for shipping. They also stock a wide variety of parts from different manufacturers, and frequently have closeout prices.. I honestly don't know what I'd do if I didn't have RockAuto to get my parts. I have never had a bad experience with them and every part I've ever ordered from them has been quality. Trust me, buy from them. I promise you won't regret it. I am in Canada, most auto web site here in Canada will not post any prices on their items. It makes it tough to get a head-up on how much my repairs are going to be.
I have deal with Rock Auto previously and by far I would say they have very affordable prices, easy site to navigate for parts. It will also instruct you on how to save on shipping by consolidating most of your order if it's possible.

Amazing experience
Used Rock for 1st time to replace rear tail light assembly on 07 Altima. Saw on tv and thought I would check it before calling salvage yards. Was impressed at how easy it was to find part and how many other parts were available. Price for part was less than what I figured a yard would charge and it was new with bulbs! Shipping was super fast and resonable as well.

I have used Rock Auto for several years now and have always been happy with the parts and quickness of service. Recently a part I purchased failed shortly after being put in service. It was warrantied by the manufacture and Rock Auto replaced the part within a few days. They were very helpful and the process was quick and easy.

I love Rock Auto... I own 2 late model Mercedes Benz vehicles out of warranty. I turn to Rock Auto for parts... because of price, and Availability and ease of returns and exchanges. VALUE is the word... Pleasure is the experience. Rock AUTO.. Thank you.

All the parts I recieved look like they were previously returned as all the plastic bags that were supposed to contain the hardware were ripped and hardware missing. Not to mention grease finger prints and boxes all torn open. Loseing hundreds a day if I were to do what rockauto wants me to do and ship stuff back. Not sure why they have a partial refund to buy hardware localy if they wont allow you to do it. My immediate family and myself have over 10 vehicals on the road and I work on and service them myself. Friend suggested rock auto for their decent prices brand name parts. Prices dont mean a dam thing if you dont have the hardware that was supposed to be included. Rock auto fix this and I'll give 5 star review if not my current review will stay

By ordering my rear window regulator through RockAuto and installing it myself just by watching a YouTube video, I was able to save $350 over what the dealer wanted. The part came very fast as well.

parts came in on three days after i order them very quick got the rotors in perfect condition, ordered parts with the heart next to them. cheaper then parts stores by 12 bucks per a rotor. Will always buy my parts here from now on!!!

I have been using Rock Auto for a while and am completely satisfied. The one time I got a defective part I notified them and was given the option of a new part at no cost or credit for the price of the item. I chose the credit and just used it today for another part that I needed for my vintage Olds Cutlass. Great service all around!

Folks this is a sad tale of woe. I bought a catalytic converter from rockauto on 3/17/16 for my 2003 Camry. Recently the check engine light came back on so I took my car to the mechanic. He confirmed it's the same code (P0420) as I had before, which is the reason I purchased the catalytic converter in the first place.

I've dealt with four people to no avail. They all repeat the same scripted response giving me options that aren't useful.

1) Remove the part and send it in for inspection. This is useless because I won't have a car. I can't have the mechanic remove it because then the car will be stuck on his property (storage fees). It'll take at least a week or more for me to send it to rockauto, rockauto to send it to manufacturer and then wait for the manufacturer to have time to test it. I need my car to go work so that's not a real option.

2) Buy another converter at $379.00. Have my mechanic install it (another $100.00) buy another oxygen sensor ($50,00) Send the old converter in for inspection by the manufacturer.

If the manufacturer doesn't find a problem (Do you honestly think they'll want to eat the cost?) then I'll be stuck with two converters!

I'm not a pro athlete. I don't have several cars laying around. All I want rockauto to do is to support their parts. Send me another converter, I'll send this one back and rockauto should deal with the manufacturer.

Even under my scenario it'll cost me nearly $200.00 to replace the converter (install + new sensor). Is this customer service? I don't think so. I'm going to file a report with the BBB.

I have been dealing with Rockauto for quite a while now. The product is not bad as well as shipping though they should think about giving a free shipping option as people like me spend hundreds of $ in one order.
Everybody else provide free shipping once the purchase is over a certain amount.

Always a pleasure ordering from RockAuto. The prices are always very low, and they even come in lower than the local parts stores even when you calculate shipping costs!!

I've been dealing with RockAuto for a few years now, and every experience is a good one. Their ranking of parts is helpful when shopping, and every order has been correct and on-time.

Called this place once and that will be the last time. I need a headlight cover for the passenger side of my GMC Jimmy. I didn't know if it was the right or left side, found out it is the right side if I am sitting in the car. Customer service was in such a hurry to get off the phone, I told him the headlight was working fine that I just needed the cover and asked if they carried it. He couldn't even answer the question! He was not going to check for me. He said if it is not in their catalog then they don't have it. Period. I wasn't even sure if I could buy just the right side without the left. I've never purchased one before. Very, very bad customer service.

ordered ford oem part, received a timken hub which i could of paid half the price yet can not talk to any one, phone numbers listed will not answer, should of read the complaints about there scam.

Prices and availability of parts are excellent, however, when you add in shipping charges to the parts order, the total price is no better than local auto stores. Rock Auto should have free shipping promo codes and better discounts than 5%. For me, and I'm sure many others, a free shipping code and higher discounts would make all the difference in purchasing at Rock Auto versus other auto part retailers.

Two attempts to replace failed ignition coil. Both times received defective replacements as observed out the box. The replacements had holes in the body that causes shorts. This is the exact reason the original warranted part failed. No way to contact Rockauto to talk to anyone. Manufacturer of part (SMP Intermotor) verified hole in body of coil is indicative of failed part.

I've been buying parts that could wait a few days for years now, NEVER had a problem. Parts would arrive sometimes the next day! and often half the cost of local counter guys.

Success with RockAuto again. I buy vehicle parts from a half dozen suppliers. Rock Auto is on that list for search, supply, quality, good shipping, and pricing competitiveness. My older vehicles love 'em.

Speedy delivery for good quality and good priced parts

I have ordered and used many different parts and sets for maintaining and improving my family's automobiles/ trucks. Everything came and performed as expected. The only problem I encountered was with a fuel pump for a 2005 dodge Ram 1500 from Carter ( the small plastic board that is part of the fuel sender was cracked in half. I didn't notice the defect until after the fuel tank was re-installed and there was no fuel reading.
I was forced to remove the fuel tank and pump again. Luckily, I had not disposed of the Old pump and was able to salvage the fuel level board from it. Disaster averted. My faith has not been swayed and I will continue to use ROCKAUTO for all my future needs

Not only does ROCKAUTO have a cool commercial, this is a must go Parts Website that has virtually every part at pricing that out does the Chain Gang's! I have been a customer for years and have not had one bad experience. Can't say that for the Other Guy's! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ROCKAUTO for all your parts to keep your ride rolling. I am in the process of major upgrades to my 1991 Nissan Pathfinder , and in the past few weeks I have placed 5 orders with RockAuto. Each order arrived ahead of ETA , and I have had no issues. I also saved over $100 on parts compared to the local big name parts stores , for parts of equal or better quality. I will never go to one of these chain stores again . The shipping costs are a little steep but that's not their fault , and I STILL saved money. If there is a downside its having to wait a few days for the parts , but I honestly don't really have a problem with that. I will definitely be using RockAuto from now on and will highly recommend them to anyone who asks me!

I have a 1985 Dodge Daytona Turbo that I bought new in late 1984 and have been trying to restore it but unable to locate parts for it but RockAuto came through for me.

parts came in sooner than expected and fit my vehicle. i was a little dissapointed the timken wheel bearings are no longer made in italy as shown in the picture though. i hope they stand up.

I have used Rock Auto a number of years and on multiple cars.In all that time I have had to return only one part the new one arrived before I had the other shipped. I live in the city it shipped from.All other parts including engine.suspension and body have worked as they should,no one can make new parts fit perfectly on old iron.You have to be a wrench to appreciate quality and make it work.

We are a car dealership and we buy $1000's in auto parts every month usually from the local parts houses. we are in a big city so there are plenty to choose from so they can deliver same day. We purchased a catalytic converter from rock auto and this being our first purchase from them. The part was cheaper and we could afford to wait a few days to get the part. We figured this might be worth while to start buying parts from them. the part arrived. We had out ASE Certified mechanic attempt to install it. the flange was miss shaped and hit against the oil pan. Ok it was worth a try. I went on rockautos website to file for the return. I answered a few question. I was told that I would hear back in a few days.In the mean time I could no longer wait for a part. I ordered it from a local vendor and had it same day. I had not heard anything back from rock auto so I logged in today. It now says that my part is non returnable. WTH!!! I get that we installed it. we knew right away it didn"t work. they should take it back!!! there is no customer service to talk to about this. never again will I do business with this company

Worst customer service out of any place that I've ever talked to. Disrespectful, ignorant, useless and careless. Would never in my life buy anything from them again. Don't waste your money with these guys if they mess something up they will never fix it, unless u spend more money.

When they have parts cataloged incorrectly and ship a part that won t fit your vehicle. There stance is well good luck. There system will not allow you to change an order like they tell you to do. Claiming it s shipped before it s anywhere close to being shipped. There email customer support send you one standard copy and paste email not addressing the problem you are having. No one answer there corporate phone number. And they stop and seeing email and even Facebook messages. Leaving me no option but to dispute the charges with the credit card company.

I ordered a slave cylinder from rock auto for my car. the mechanic installed the part as was recommended by the warranty. The part turned out to be defective and now i am left with a high bill to the mechanic and no vehicle because rock auto denies that their part is faulty and that it is my problem for going with a mechanic. at least they could cover a part of the bill as they screwed me over with the part.

i spend a lot of money buying parts and i can honestly say RockAuto is the best dollar for dollar and cheaper than Advance Auto Parts and Autozone ,its so funny we have a slogan at the shop " call advance and cut it in half " why give the corporations the cash? TERRIBLE. If you own a business, like I do, order from somewhere else. Parts delay to ship and when they finally do arrive--they're broken. Called customer service and refused my return because I didn't sign off on the delivery. Someone who doesn't even work for me signed off and Rock Auto accepted it! But they didn't care. Also, they expect for you to open up all packages, hold up the freight company, stop everything you're doing and throughly inspect for damages. If you don't and you find damages later, then guess what? DENIED. Will never order from this company. There are much better, QUALITY, auto part vendors elsewhere.

I replaced 3 O2 sensors AND the serpentine belt for the price of two sensors alone. The parts arrived faster than expected so I can enjoy my weekend. The parts were the right ones because I had all the correct information and the site is clearly worded.

I was disappointed in the catalytic converter and exhaust piping I ordered. It was poorly made and did not come close to fitting the car it was recommended for. I had to cut off the converter and have it welded to the original piping from the manifold. Then the $60 promotion card I was entitled to I did not get because the Tenneco company that was handling the promotion lost the bar code I sent with the paperwork. Tenneco insisted on a resubmission of the original bar code. How do you do that?! I think I have had my last purchase from RockAuto.
