I have had a great experience with this company so far. Anne was so helpful and made us feel like we were her top priority. She responded to my questions and concerns promptly and made things very easy to understand. The girls in the office were also very helpful and took care of a pressing matter in minutes for me. The runners they sent to show me a home were also very friendly and professional. All around I have had a far better experience working with RESE than any other property management company.

Looked at a Holladay rental and it had a noticed of violation and fees from the city posted. House has been listed for a month and the yard work, furniture to haul from previous tenant, and cleaning was not done yet. Needed light bulbs every where and dryer vent hose missing =venting directly to crawl space. Doesn t look like this company has a checklist or walk through process between renters.

I've never had an issue with RESE, the online portal is nice. They've been pretty easy to work with and inspections of the property have occurred with plenty of advance notice. I've only ever filed one maintenance request and it was addressed really quickly.

A year ago, I had a roommate who was manipulative and psychotic. As you can imagine, my buddy and I were contractually stuck and were being mentally and verbally abused all the time by this roommate (he was twice my age), all the while believing he was the manager for the house.

As i looked into my contact, I realized i could reach out to the ACTUAL management. And so i visited their office and began receiving help while in the lobby, waiting to meet with their boss. I was so stoked to finally receive some kindness and help!
Well guess what? I finally met with the guy (with a new zealand accent?) in charge and as soon as he found out where I lived, he reprimanded me and literally yelled at me to get out because apparently the owner of the house i was living at owed him money? I never met the owner. I was manipulated into thinking the psychotic roommate was the manager. But that didnt matter. He didnt let me speak!!

(*Sorry this is so long! It was a long, horrible ordeal.)

Anyway, I left RESE Management in shambles. One second, someone was helping me and then the guy in charge chewed me out and kicked me out. I returned back to living with the roommate who would literally pound on my door at night and try to get in (and thats just the tip of the ice berg).

A few weeks later i mustered the courage to go back to management for help because my friend and I really needed it (obviously). And I began to receive some help and some empathy over the horrible living situations. And they set me up to meet with their manager guy. So, as soon as the New Zealand(?) guy saw me, he pointed out the door and began yelling at me and telling me "I told you to leave and not come here!"
I've never felt like i was living in a movie until at this point in my life.

Needless to say, I managed to find a number to the owner of the house. He decided to get new management and the story continues from there.

**OVERALL, RESE Management is the worse business I have ever worked with any field EVER. I am beyond disgusted and I feel so blessed to be out of that horrible living situation. Maybe if the head-guy would've actually listened to me and cared, this review would be better. But until then, what a jerk.

Just don't do it. Don't rent a house if it is managed by this company. We read all the reviews before we decided to rent and found a lot of them to be negative. We've always had good experiences with most rental agencies, so we thought there was no way it could be that bad. Oh, it was.

In the end it all worked out but we had to fight really hard to get what we were owed for our deposit. It is not even worth it though. Don't think you will be the exception. You won't.

They will try to buy your good review with See's gift cards, etc. Don't fall for it. Take the gift card and then be honest in your review.

If I could give negative stars I would, this is the most useless property management company I have ever experienced. They never follow through with maintenance, always make excuses. The staff are completely unprofessional, they are liars and they make up false charges that the owner's don't authorize.
I am so grateful I was able to get in touch with the owner of the property he learned the truth about them and fired them. Thank god I don't have to deal with Rese any longer .

Rese PM managed my Salt Lake condo after I moved out of state. They made the rental problem as smooth as possible. When important things came up, they got me involved, but for the regular things they took care of it all. If I do rental properties in the future, I'll be asking them to manage them.

Ups and Downs not going into alot of detailes Moved out in July and haven't recieved deposit refund within 30days of move out. Not to mention they are taking half of the deposit for unreasonable work for property that they are no longer in agreement with leasing the owner chose to part ways when we were done. So why the extra charges House was cleaner then it was before we moved in considering we notified them after moving in some of the the issues we had mold in both bedrooms that took 3 months to take care off. And communication with then is hard. Only good thing is Kacey who im assuming is new there she has been on top of it so far now that I have had to call and followed up to see whats going on but the for the rest there hasnt been much follow up or sticking to what they say. House was in better condition then moving in. Dont waste your time and money cleaning cause youll get charged either way. Wouldnt recommend Renting through this company. Everyone has there own opinion but the while experience wasnt that great. It just seems like they were losing money by not having the property to rent anymore so wanted to get as much out of the deposit as possible. Which seems unfair.

My experience with Rese properties has be nothing but outstanding. Not living in the same town as my rental property, I needed a company I could trust and rely on. When I first contacted Rese, they were so prompt in getting the property ready to rent and rented it quickly. The property managers are always quick to return my calls. Also they are quick to get in touch with me if their are repairs to be made, which in turn makes for a satisfied tenant . I would definitely recommend Rese Property Management.

Terrible Property management company. We've rented from them for over 3 years. Our original agreement was an 18 month lease, then after that we could do month to month. A week before our lease was up they called us and said that if we didn't sign a new lease we had to be out in a week. So we were forced to sign another lease. The other major issue is we would put in maintenance requests. These were either ignored, or they would schedule a time for someone to come fix the issue, then no one would show up. The few times we did get someone to show up they would do a crappy job and the problem would eventually come back. I feel bad for anyone that chooses to use Rese.

Rese Property Management should have no stars but I had to "pick a star" in order to post a review. This was the worst company I have ever dealt with. They gave me and my roommates the run around for 3 weeks, preyed on 3 young women, and violated Utah State Law as well as violated and changed our contracts without notice. I would never recommend working with this company.

We were very pleased with our experience with RESE Property Management! Our previous company that managed our property decided they didn't want to do it anymore. The only thing we asked our previous rental company to do was collect the rent. We were referred to RESE Property Management by another real estate agent. They stepped in, in the middle of the lease. They went above and beyond what was expected from them. And BONUS- they charged the same fee as our last management company. RESE Property Management was exceptional in taking care of our property and our needs.

We couldn't have asked for a better property manager- Brandon Epperson. He was constantly taking our calls at all hours and on top of getting things done for us and the property. We unfortunately had a terrible tenant that was always late paying rent, but Brandon would be on top of getting ahold of him to be sure we received our money. When we had our inspection of the property with Brandon and the tenant, Brandon offered his personal time to fix a couple of things. We were very impressed working with RESE Property Management and Brandon Epperson! We will always refer them and never go anywhere else!

In working in the property management field, I've been able to see both sides of the Tenant/Property Management company views. I just wanted to give a little input with RESE PM as I know there are good and bad reviews with this company on this site. I have been a tenant with this company since 2016 and still continue to be one for the time being with the home we rent from them. With the basic small maintenance issues, we take care of it on our own due to the fact that as tenants, for example, when a light bulb is out, although we weren't there when a new one was put in, we have some use out of it, so we will replace it. But when there are major issues such as a dishwasher just being old and no longer working, or roof tiles have been torn off by strong winds we've all seen and felt in the past, these have been reported to RESE and although they are bigger projects, RESE was able to get the issues taken care of. We've had nothing but positive responses to our maintenance issues. Whenever a maintenance request is put in, a representative responds within 24-48 hours of the request letting us know that they will be working on the issue. I have read a few reviews that RESE uses gift cards to obtain positive reviews, rest assure, I am not receiving one for posting this, but to let possible new tenants know that there are positive things that this company does. Thank you for continuing to be a great management company for us and the owner. - TY

This place will rip you off. I rented an apartment for a year and a half, never once late on rent, nothing. From my $450 deposit. I got $85 back. So apparently it cost $100 for blinds and paint, $125 for flooring (the floor was all chipped and screwed up upon move in, which was documented on my move in inspection, and then "affordable housecleaning" for $140. I spent hours scrubbing down the surfaces, the appliances, vacuumed the carpeting, everything. On top of all of this, I texted and called and emailed my property manager CONSTANTLY after moving out (she wasn't able to do the inspection with me, even though she went by to move someone in) to ask about the inspection and the status of the deposit, not one single answered call, text or email.

While I rented from them, it wasn't bad. The website has a user friendly interface, and it's easy to submit a maintenance request and you can pay your rent online, but don't plan on getting your deposit back, even if you are a clean person.

Anne has been nothing but amazing! We were wanting to rent a property and she went above and beyond with helping get everything approved. I also loved the fact that I could just text her! Unfortunately, our move in date didn't work with the property that we liked but I will definitely be working with them when we get closer to a move in date! Definitely recommend working with Anne!

Don't let RESE bully you.

Four months after moving out of a RESE-managed condo I received an email stating that I owed RESE a $100. They informed me that due to an "accounting error" they failed to remove $100 from my deposit for a cleaning fee, they said that if I did not send them the $100 ASAP that their attorney would begin collections activity.

The odd thing is that the contract and Utah state codes say that an itemized-receipt of deductions must be provided within 30 days the termination of the contract and of course the itemized deduction that they provided when I moved out did not include this $100 fee.

After contacting the actual owner of the condo I came to find out that the tenant after me complained about a dirty oven, so RESE hired someone to get it cleaned, they then tried to charge the owner, the owner told RESE that he would not pay because it was RESE's responsibility to catch that in the checkout they did with me, and so RESE then came to me to try to get me to pay for it despite having no legal standing to charge me.

After emailing directly with Tony (owner), he persists that I am responsible for the fee and attached the receipt they have from the cleaning service. The receipt showed that the cleaning actually took place over three months after I moved out. Exposing the "accounting error" story as a total fabrication.

They screwed up and thought that they could bully me into paying for their mistake.

WORST COMPANY NEVER EVER EVER EVER RENT A PROPERTY FROM THEM! They never return calls. Then they respond weeks later in an email. Tell lies to get you to accept a property and then charge ridiculous fees at move out despite leaving the property spotless. Like a $400 lawn care fee for not mowing a yard covered in snow. So they don't have to give you back your deposit. They changed the contact person 5 times in the 1 year I rented. The 2% of my deposit they did return took 6 weeks to get back.

Please review this before signing a lease.

My sister had lived in the same apartment complex previously before I had moved in. From the time my sister had lived there it had gone from Concept Property to Rese Property. When my sister had signed onto the lease the apartment had not been inspected. From when Concept switched to Rese the apartment had not been inspected. From when my sister moved out the apartment had not been inspected.

While living in this apartment it was immediately recognizable that the apartment was in poor condition. Between the price that I was paying monthly and the condition of the apartment I didn't have much room to complain. While I was living at the apartment though, I had put in several maintenance requests. The bedroom wall would leak from the outside plumbing. The sink gasket completely broke off because of how old it was. New blinds for the chipped and broken ones. A new water heater because the old one was leaking and all of the electronic components were rusted and exposed. The air conditioner had completely lost its blade. When they finally got to fixing the leaking wall they didn't finish the job. I didn't have a heater for the longest time and the paint was missing. After they finished that the wall continued to leak. All of my belongings were soaked. Some of the maintenance requests I had to put several requests in for before I would get a call. Still, all of the maintenance requests and the poor condition of the apartment is still not enough for a bad review.

After a year of living there it was time to sign a new lease. I had forgot about the lease and that I needed to sign it, totally my fault. Although, before my signing of the lease they did go through and email me with some startling info. If signing on with a new lease they were going to charge me for a new lease (expected), charge me $100 additional rent and charge an additional $400 for another safety deposit. After some thought to how much I was going to be charged I decided to move out.

When trying to move out I gave as much of a prior notice as possible. After some dispute and trying to work things out I had paid for an additional month of rent, a month that I never lived there for.

After moving out I never received my cleaning deposit, which is fine. For the entire month after I had moved out I monitored their online portal. I monitored it daily to make sure I wasn't going to be fined for hidden things. After 2 months of moving out I received a text message saying "If your current balance of $138 is not paid in 3 days from today (date that they sent) we are submitting you to collections. Balance needs to be paid in full. Thank!". I had received no prior warning of this. They have my current address on file. They have my father's, sister's and my phone number on file. They have all of our emails as well. After I logged into the portal, (which I had no clue that I had access to still). I noticed that they amount was wrong from the text message. I actually owed $183.

I called to question the charges. Things like a broken sink, carpet cleaning, not having a lockbox (concepts didn't require a lockbox so we never had one), bath, the toilet mechanism to let it flush. All of these things were all there before I moved in and before my sister moved in.

After calling Rese they told me to write an email and they will send it up. After 2 days had passed I called them to see what the status was. They had not sent it "up" yet. They said that they would call me back shortly after. After a good hour had passed I received a phone call saying that I would have to pay the amount and that the person that my email needed to go to wouldn't be back until Monday. They said that I would have to pay the money and they would go through and look into it when they got the chance.
I know that I will never see that money ever again. My sister paid a $200 deposit that she never got back. I paid the same as well. I paid another month of rent that I never lived their for. I also paid an addition $183 for bad management. $1383

Rese property is HORRIBLE to work with, while renting one of their properties for one year I had three different people to communicate with and none of them communicated so each time I would have to start over. When we moved into the property we let them know the issues that were there. The main one was the carpet was not cleaned we vacuumed up pet hair for months and we did not have a pet and it smelled horrible so I paid someone to come clean the carpets because Rese failed to return calls and emails. Then when it came time to move out they kept our entire deposit $900 claiming they had to replace things I know were not needed like blinds and such which we replaced before we checked out. When I email and call and request a copy of the checkout they never respond they have no customer service and are rude and act like their so inconvenienced when you contact them.

This company is not great! Poor communication between all their departments. I worked with one of the owners Glen who was leasing out his mother in laws property to us and everything was very unprofessional, confusing and tremendously one sided for RESE to benefit per the contract terms and the deposit money which was basically taken from us. I could go down the list of about 10-15 different legitimate complaints and name all the things done wrong with my overall 7 month experience with RESE/Glen renting one of their properties to us. If considering RESE I would recommend finding someone else. Their contract and terms was horrible and unfair. You will loose your deposit so don't get your hopes up on that.

I had a horrible experience trying to fix my AC unit and the Fan that broke down while I was renting....I had a 2 weeks old Baby back in that time!
When I came to the office in person trying to solve this... This guy just started swearing and using really unprofessional vocabulary.
In my opinion...Worst company ever!

Poor customer service--for tenants, at least. I would not rent from a place that was managed by them again. Slow to respond to maintenance requests (it's June and my swamp cooler hasn't been fixed yet), but if they do, they're likely to force the tenant to foot the bill. Property owners beware--you'll lose a good tenant as a result of using this company.

As a property owner I'd like someone to manage my property long term. I've yet to have a rep last longer than 6 months before I get a new one and I am NEVER notified when I get a new one. They just stop notifying me and when I call someone else answers or calls me back like nothing has happened.

RESE also has a contract for emergency services that allows vendors to perform repairs to your home at whatever cost they feel like without authorization. I had a water leak in our back yard and they notified me so I immediate went and turned off the water. Then some vendor showed up after I had left, put in a $3.00 coupling for 15 minutes of work and changed me $350! Then I told RESE it was not an authorized repair and they said they got it down to $250 for me. WHAT?! This is seriously our last straw. If something like this happens again we're done with RESE.

I'm a property owner and have been using RESE to manage my property for only a few months. I've worked with a handful of employees at RESE and have had nothing but positive experiences with them. They've communicated well, counseled me on cleaning and presenting my property, and finding the fair market value.

They were able to place a tenant in my home 6 days after it was listed and charge one of the lowest RPM fees I was able to find. I had to replace a water heater and they gave me the option of doing it myself or letting them bid it out for me for free. I got a bid from them and it was very fairly priced.

I am very glad they are taking care of my property and hope they take care of our tenants just as well.

My wife and I had been renting through RESE Property Managenent for one year. If you are searching for a fair property management company this is not the company you are looking for. As previous tenants we would pay rent a week before it was due, we would report any problems right away, we would care for the property as if it were our own. We went so far as cleaning the property extensively on the same day we moved out. The only thing missing was a professional carpet cleaning job. Everything electrical/plumbing was functioning as it should. We even had a RESE representative present while we were finishing our cleaning for final inspection. A month after we moved out we finally receive our deposit check and we are surprised to find that RESE charged us $220 for a broken pipe in a shower. I plead with Gail to investigate further for us because everything was functioning as it should have on the day we moved out and any plumbing issue occurring after our tenancy we should not be held liable for. The company refused to investigate for us. They unfairly charge their tenants without questions.

We would not rent our home with out a property manager. He has been Great. We don't have to collect the rent or deal with arguing or problems like that.

We are quite old now and appreciate someone else helping us with our property and helping us get wonderful tenets and other help when we need it. We also get our 1099's sent to us.

I've been trying to call for the last couple of hourse and all i keep getting is their automated message stating "they provide word class service."The title company opted them for our escrow account. Would not recommend using a business that does not answer their phone.

3 years ago when we initially moved in everything went very well and there was always someone to answer our requests for maintenance or if we just had questions. Now, after our original manager quit, and we've been through 3 others, no one will answer the phone or respond to my emails. Twice I've been served a notice without someone actually attempting to contact us first, and once we've received a fee for a notice we never actually received. I can't get anyone to respond to me. This is beyond frustrating. I want to be up to date with all monies due, but I won't pay those unfair fees.

Updated with comments responding to the owners rebuttal. Looks at the end of this draft to see my rebuttal of the lying of the owner. Rese property showed me a couple units. I liked one of them and applied. Claudia told me that I was approved. I was happy and I gave them $3,500 deposit for that unit. when I went to get the key at the unit they took me to a property that I have never seen a completely different unit number run down and in a very bad location. I started recording video on my phone and the person showing the property and giving me the key agreed with me that I never seen this one and this is not the one I applied for miraculously on the application the address changed to that different unit and it's impossible because I was never shown this one. I did not want this unit but they are refusing to give me back my deposit and saying I should have read the contract better. They are extremely dishonest and very unprofessional they are Crooks. Because I recorded the person agreeing with me that this was a different unit they agreed to lower the lease to 6 months instead of a year because they realized they did make a mistake but would not admit to changing the address on contract. At this point I was concerned with my deposit, and getting it back. In the beginning they told me $150.00 wasn't refundable. All of a sudden they told me carpet cleaning would be 500 or more and cleaning unit plus damages that they're expecting will probably chew up most of the $3500.00. I decided not to work with them. They told me that was fine but I loose my $3500.00. I then putting my phone to record or video insisted they were stealing my money and they were not being honest that I had recorded them admitting to making a mistake With a different address. I then showed them my phone that was recording and they tried to remove the phone from my hand obviously to stop the recording and to Delete it. Unable to get the phone from my hands (phone still recording) obviously the attempt to take my phone from me was a crime. They then agreed to return my $3500. Luckily they tried to take my phone away from me, and they couldn't. Not wanting any of this to happen. Wish I can delete the memory.
In addition they have replied to me saying what is the problem you got all your money back I got all my money back because I threatened to press charges with the police showing the video of them wrestling the phone from me. They also claim that they re funded all my money but it's not true there was still some stupid service fee for $100 that they kept or something like that this is my response to their auras spots to me. The facts they were not going to give me any of my deposit back and till the police talk to them and I had video of them wrestling the phone from me. I still have the video how dare they call me a liar or my facts being confusing
I read your argument how dare you call me a liar I still have everything recorded on my phone I was attacked you guys tried to take my phone away from me because when you found out I was recording you wanted to take my phone probly to delete the recordings the police asked me if I wanted to press charges I said I just wanted my money back God is my witness you guys kept a little bit of my deposit some make believe feed you had to charge me that's the truth your rebuttal to my statement you should be in barest many people know for themselves that you are in out right dishonest liar in the way you talk. Owners and landlords--go elsewhere! Read the fine print. Their contract gives them the right to collect management fees even after you terminate--EVEN against tenants that were there when they took over. Unbelievable. We kept getting new 'managers' assigned to our account--I can only guess at the reasons for the high turnover. We've never had such a change with the other property management we deal with. We tried discussing our reasons for dissatisfaction and our intent to terminate, and believe me there was no getting through to them--in their eyes, they had performed beautifully. Our tenants learned to dislike them so much that several moved rather than re-sign with them.

This is the first review I've ever left in my life. I've never felt the need to leave a review, but based on my experience with Gail Kastleman I had to tell you all about my experience. By far the worst customer service. I don't believe Gail Kastleman understands what customer service is. Gail Kastleman was very short and at times unresponsive to concerns or questions I had. There was a time a late fee was assessed on my account because she didn't process my payment on time. She tried to blame it on USPS for not delivering the mailed checks on time, yet I had tracking info showing date and time it was left at her mailbox. Our logistic systems are pretty accurate these days. Strongly advise you mail your payments with tracking if you choose to use this company. Anyhow, I called in to discuss this matter with her. The front receptionist advised me Gail was on the other line and would be a while, I replied it was ok and I would hold. 20 minutes later after being placed on hold the receptionist comes back on the phone to tell me Gail had left the office! She was fully aware I was on hold waiting to speak to her. I couldn't believe it. Yet when I couldn't expect any poorer customer service, she didn't fail yo surprise me. Gail Kastleman speaks for Rese as a brand. I would rate .2 of a star if possible.

I have had many issues with Rese but they have all been resolved eventually. I think they could be an excellent management group given that they show compassion by putting their customers feelings in mind with proper business etiquette. I hope to renew with them here in Aug. with a good year ahead where we work together to solve issues for a mutual benefit rather than them simply covering their bases and doing the minimum as they have in the past. I am hopeful that things are moving in a better direction and appreciate hard work.

This shows this willingness of the company to resolve issues. I'm confident that as long as concerns are communicated property to those in charge Rese will do what it takes to keep their customers happy.

Calling themselves a property management company is false advertising! They are a sit there and do thing for anyone company. We rented a town house that Rese was 'managing' and it was a mix between a bad joke and and horror story. When our air conditioning broke in the middle of summer they told us it wasn't their problem. Multiple times when we were paying rent they would come back a week later and say we paid late and charged us late fees even though we had bank records to prove we had paid on time and even early! When we moved out they told us that they didn't have to give us our deposit, but that the person moving in was responsible. And obviously they never paid us so we got screwed over! Rese Property Management is the worst experience I have had with any company ever... AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! seriously.

It was a constant headache trying to get any amount of information and then when you finally did, it was usually a blatant lie. Unless you plan on calling everyday to check for changes you will hear nothing. Wish I hadn't wasted the last two months dealing with this company.

I guess I should have checked the reviews before I ever signed up to view one of their properties. I received the dreaded automated email today cancelling a showing I had scheduled just yesterday. It told me to sign up for another time, surprise surprise, there aren't any and when you email them to explain that, you just get an automated response. So for now, based on the things everyone else has said they're getting two stars because this seems to be par for the course for them. Hopefully I'll hear back from them and actually get to see the property, but after reading all this I'm not holding my breath, and maybe it'll be a blessing.

UPDATE: Lowering to 1 star. I attempted to email Cricket Whitlock (is this a real person??) and all I got in return were automated responses, including one telling me I could schedule another viewing (don't ask me why I continued pursuing the property after reading all these bad reviews and having them cancel on me, because Idk) so I tried and of course there were no times available. So I called their office and was told they are no longer showing the property because they have enough interest and the automated system just sends out their emails regardless of whats actually happening. Then she actually told me that if I wanted to apply I'd have to do so without being able to see the property, are you kidding me?

So they cancelled a viewing they had set up with us just because they didn't want to show anymore, very unprofessional, if you already have viewings you should honor them, not just bail. Then instead of actually speaking with potential customers about what's actually going on they let their automated system send out incorrect information, even more unprofessional. No wonder so many people hate this company, I certainly will not attempt to rent from it again, I feel for the people currently stuck dealing with them and I'm glad I'm being spared that experience. Frankly I don't understand how the people that own these properties can trust this company to manage them based on my experience with them and the reviews I've read on here.

i keep on having so many billing problems with your company and its always the day before my rent is due leaving with pretty much no time to get the problem fixed before u add on more outrages fees and sending me notices stating u will evict me if my rent isnt paid asap ! i call no answer i email no answer ! your company is making things alot more stressful then they need to be and if the person who is over my lease aggrement would do there job right and not put the blame on the renters things would get done right away and we would have no problems but it shouldnt take the renters telling u to do your job to get things done

RESE HAS HIDDEN CANCELLATION FEES, BEWARE! They managed my property in Draper for 3 years. This company has questionable business practices. Do not let them manage your property. My tenant paid until the end of their lease term and I decided to sell my property at that time, RESE charged me $918 in a cancellation fee even though the tenant paid through the end of the agreed term. RESE was not transparent about this fee at all. That is BIG money! Don't trust these guys with your property. This is the first time I have ever left a negative review anywhere. I feel the public should know this company has questionable business practices. Just read the owners response to this review to see how they will get defensive and treat you poorly as a customer. His response has further solidied my poor opinion of RESE.

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT LIVE HERE the management does not respond very quickly if not at all and they will start to charge you fees labeled august and July . They also love to do cleaning checks and not let you know until the day of. They would even charge us a fee if we were not at our apartment or if the apartment was messy. When COVID happened we wanted to see if we could have some help and get out of our lease 2 months early but they wanted us to pay $500 just for them to put the apartment up on the web and have them sell the apartment. Management was no help when it came to trying to figure something out. They nicely told us, too bad, good luck. So we decided to stick it out. When our move out happened we left our apartment way better than we found it, we deep cleaned the floors, the walls, even places you would never have thought to clean. They took more than half of our deposit and we got our deposit check back 6 months later. Forget about getting your deposit back. Don t be allured by the nice town home for cheap. Not worth it. Management is bad, disorganized, and unprofessional.

They left up ALL of their property listings in an area I was looking at, and when contacted about the listings, they informed me they no longer have any spaces available in that city. I have also been reading through their reviews, and they threaten legal action against negative reviewers fairly regularly. I had previously rented from them, and had some issues with getting my deposit back, but decided to let it slide. However, after seeing the way they treat their customers who feel wronged, I feel it best to express my concerns with this company.

I do not really give them 1 star. Truthfully, I'd give them less than zero stars. The employees turn over faster than hotcakes and do not communicate ANY information about your property from outgoing to incoming employees or even from department to department. You have to hold their hands every step of the way and stay on top of them like a babysitter or they will double charge you. You might as well not even use a property manager for all the work you still have to do managing your own property because they are incompetent as hell. Not only do they refuse to communicate important information to one another, they will not communicate with the property owner either! My tenant went delinquent on their gas, which was then shut off, so they vacated the property a month earlier than their lease was up and I was not notified of this until THREE WEEKS LATER, even though Rese knew about it immediately. This is just one example. I have been misinformed by Rese more times than I can count, and every single time I call or email them, there's a whole new account manager who knows NOTHING about my property and tells me something entirely different than the last one did. None of them are on the same page, ever. When you call or email, expect to wait WEEKS for a reply. They are super unresponsive. They keep you in the dark. They steal your money and think you won't notice. Terrible, terrible company. DO NOT HIRE THEM.

Definitely a company I would avoid using. Make sure that you document and take pictures of the property when you move in because Rese will nickel and dime you for every small problem on the property even if it was already existing before you move in. It seems in their mind your deposit becomes their deposit and they try and hold back as much as your deposit as possible. I left my rental home in much better shape than when I moved in but they made sure to charge me for everything they could find. The charge descriptions are vague and trying to get a hold of someone at Rese is very difficult.
I also dealt with them and the property management side and things were just as difficult. Response with new potential renters is very poor. They seemed to have a communication break down throughout the process. Overall a very poor experience.

I ve been with Rese Management for about a year now and they have been professional and responsive to my needs as an owner. Some things are out of their hands and there was a mis-step too but by far the service has been on top of what needed to be done. Each time I ve called with some need or recommendation I ve felt they followed through right away which, of course, has increased my trust in them. I anticipate our business relationship will continue in the future.

This is not a professional company. We called a week before on two separate days asking to be shown a property. We never got a call back. I called on a Tuesday and a Friday. I then called the next week Monday and said I had not yet heard, they've been scheduled an appointment for me the next Tuesday. The person that showed up to give us a tour of the rental property, was high on something and had her boyfriend there as well who was also high on something. It was so unprofessional for the boyfriend to be touring the house with us and making comments opening doors and cupboards and suggesting we rent a room to him. The person showing us the rental didn't know anything about the rental. They then try to scam us the next day saying there was two people ahead of us and we should apply soon or will you lose our spot. That is just a market scam to get a rental rented. Absolutely disappointed, unprofessional company. People beware if they tell you it or act like there is urgency, there isn't they're just trying to get a place rented.

Rese hired a contractor to do work on our basement bathroom and they didn't fix the problem. They destroyed our walls, cracked the door, and took the door knob.

Rese then hired another contractor which fixed the issue, but Rese refuses to fix the walls and door the first contractor broke.

I spoke to Tony (The owner of RESE) and he refuses to do anything about it. Tony keeps denying they broke anything, even though we have before and after pictures of the contractor destroying the basement bathroom. Stay away from RESE. Tony is a scumbag.

I have had a great experience as a tenant of Rese. We moved from out of state and they worked with us in finding the perfect place site unseen. They have been very prompt on getting things taken care of when I have a maintenance issue or questions. I would recommend Rese to anyone.

I repeat, do not rent from them. I wish I would have listened to the other reviews.
Go and read all of the negative reviews - they're all similar. I promise, you will regret renting from them.
We've almost been with them for a year now. The house we moved into wasn't super great - it was nice for it's price, but definitely not great. It wasn't cleaned before we moved in. Shortly after (within the first two months) our water heater stopped working. The owner of the home wanted to blame us and charge us for things that had nothing to do with us. The owner's parents also came over OFTEN without any notice, which they're required to give AT LEAST 24 hour notice - and the property management didn't do anything to enforce this. We felt like someone was always coming over and never leaving us alone. Then the house had more issues, and they had to completely destroy the yard to fix the water problems, and even had the house flood in some rooms.During all of the problems, RESE was very hard to get in contact with, and they never gave us direct answers. Not only that, but when they had told us one thing about any issue/comment, they came back and told us something completely different. They would send someone to inspect the house, and they always gave us rave reviews - we took care of the house and kept it clean, and they STILL wouldn't leave us alone. We had to start keeping every conversation in writing, as they were lying to us. They have made living in this house absolutely miserable - and continue to do so. Even writing an email to them asking for a prompt response won't get you anywhere. So I guess if you DO decide to rent from them, keep everything in writing, make sure what they put ON THE AD IS ACCURATE (because yes, they even lied about what was on the ad) before committing to buying/renting anything from them. Oh, and make sure they read your application thoroughly, since they tried to take us to court over something that was THEIR MISTAKE - when they had just 'forgotten to tell the owner' about something on the application. Bad bad company. Most unprofessional place I've ever worked with. I don't know how they're in business.

STAY AWAY FROM RESE! This company is nothing but a scammer. I rated them two months ago without giving any details but it is really frustraiting. I moved out of the property they manage back in November. I initially wanted to move out by the end of October but since I notify them a few days (probably a week) after the month had already started, they said I had to pay rent for the month of November since I needed to notify them at least 30 in advance. I agreed because I wanted to do things right so I ended paying double rent for that month because I already had a signed least at my new place. After that I asked them about my deposit and first they said they were going to do a walk through and see how much I was getting back. To begin with due to circumstances I couldn't go for a show up of the place (my mistake) and did the contract online so they handed me a place all thirty, doors were not put on, carpet was really dirty and was unravel in two rooms. Only one small burner worked properly in the stove(they had me like that for months). There is a never ending list of things that made me move out of there. I cleaned the place before I left so I was expecting to get my deposit back or at least part of it. After not hearing from them I contact them again, they said I owned $1000+ for the water, thrash a sewer and they didn't charge me for while I was living there but they were so kind they were going to cut that amount in half. I went to check in the site and they changed it but luckily I had screen shoots from when I rented the place that said that those things were paid by the owner NOT ME! I told them that and they asked me to send the screenshots. Once I did never heard crom them again. I've tried to contact them 3 more times wanting to know about the deposit and not getting a reply. I just received a letter yesterday saying that I owed them $500+ and I don't even know for what!!. I am writting it here because it is useless to try to cantact them if it's not on their favor!! It is really frustraiting!!. I wish I had done some research before getting involved with this company. Worst experience EVER!! Hint if you still plan to rent with them, checkout the property, if there's anything to be fixed make sure it is prior to signing up the contract because they will handle it to you as is and take forever to get things fixed IF they ever do.

WORST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT!!!! NEVER ANSWERS THEIR PHONE, ESPECIALLY THE EMERGENCY LINE. They say they call you back within a half hour for an emergency and never do. They NEVER fix your problems with plumbing and could care less if you have a flooded bathroom or broken pipe. I have lived in my duplex for almost three years, before my landlord switched over to Reese property management never had a problem. After 2 years of knowing we were renting they finally showed up to take pictures of what my rental even looked like. I fear moving out after all the reviews of screwing people over in their deposits, this place is old and already in poor condition. And their lack of maintenance sure doesn't help. Called the emergency line over an hour ago and bathroom is still flooded, they have not called back once, this is at 1 am on a Monday morning. I shouldn't be responsible for any water damage because of their lack of care to pick up their emergency line which states it is for floods.

We turned in an application didn't get the place because someone before us got the place and they wouldn't refund us because they "ran everyone's application" of course so they could get everyone's money. On top of that they emailed me telling me we didn't get the place and then my sister got a text saying we did. We tried to get a hold of them the next day they never did answer. Then finally the next day they texted my sister again and said it actually wasn't available. Way to get our hopes up again. They just like to get your hopes up get your application fee money and disappoint you. Very hard to get ahold of and communicate with. Did not like my experience at all.

I've never met a group of people who accomplish their goals that they set, and work constantly on keeping them. I would recommend RESE to anyone trying to find a property or even wanting to someone to manage it for them. Two thumbs up for RESE.

They don't even deserve one star. This company evicted a elder woman that was caring for her 2 grand children. The lady is on oxygen and was told she had to be out in 3 days. This happened because neighbors called and complained about her children coming around to much and said she had too much traffic coming and going. This company sucks and I would think twice before you rent from them. I will be very surprised if they even let this review on the website. Shame on them.

I have been using RESE for almost 2 years now. They are managing 2 properties for me. I have only had 1 tenant in each property so far, so it makes me happy I don't have to worry about tenants changing so frequently. They have found some good tenants so far, and I haven't had any late payments. They have a cool system that lets you see the condition of your property for the quarterly inspections. I have noticed that sometimes I need to ask for the inspection report, but it is a really good way to make sure your property isn't being destroyed!

Do not use RESE Property Management. I used RESE PM for four years. Was okay for the first couple of years, but then got really bad. I believe that Tony, the owner/manager, is dishonest. Accounting is absolutely horrible. Either the accountant lacks appropriate skills or is dishonest. They never admit to making a mistake, they cover it up. They are not responsive to tenants, and have virtually never physically visited the property. They make unauthorized repairs and then say I gave someone verbal authorization. I talked to a tenant from another property, and they charged her $900 in late fees for rent that she had proof was paid on time. They refused to meet with her to look at her documentation. I would not recommend RESE Property Management.

This has got to be the worst property management company I have ever experienced. I read reviews before renting from them and I was a little nervous given the poor reviews but I did it anyway.
I was always on time with rent! Took care of the place as if I owned it.
Now I have moved out because the owner was selling the home. I left early so the realtor could get in. The owner gave me a rent credit which took over a month to get from Rese. They told me they mailed it so it wasn't their problem. I had to pay them $30 to reissue a check and send it certified!
I was told I would get my deposit back 30 days after move out day. It is over 30 days I haven't seen it. This is what I was told...

I just received an update from maintenance, Your security deposit is in a trust account, it is on our radar, as soon as we finish the move out we will be mailing out the disposition. We are working on it, thank you for your patience. It is a busy time of the year.

Amazing! Do NOT rent from these people. This is only part of it. They take forever to send maintenance. I went days without AC in 100+ degree weather this summer waiting for a maintenance response. My elderly mother got heart stroke while in house. My daughter almost passed out. Then they finally responded and told me not to use the emergency line for that!

So do NOT rent from them! Everything you read about them is legit. They are horrible. I've been hung up on! Then they don't answer calls when I call back. I could go on forever. I am not sure the owners of these homes realize how poorly their properties are managed by these people.

I repeat... do NOT use them either to manage our rent from! They are dishonest and unprofessional!

In the six years I have lived at the place that I live at they never follow through with anything that needs to be fixed but if it s something that you did and it needs to be fixed it better get done right away. They also do not do their job correctly when it comes to a rent increase approval with Housing. I ll be looking for a new place to live I don t care if the housing market is through the roof right now. I m done, you re losing a very good tenant.

I moved into my new place 6 days ago. NOTHING was clean, TRASH EVERYWHERE, BELONGINGS STILL IN THE HOUSE, NO KEYS, ITS A COMPLETE DISASTER, so many repairs that were promised to be taken care of before move-in.
I sent 70 pictures and still sending to unanswered responses, other than someone will get back to you AND only communicate via email. Called several times today, they blocked my calls but when I called from another phone it was answered then hung up on when they knew it was me. This place is a serious JOKE. I've been a property manager for 16 years and I cannot believe these people are even in business. If you are a RENTER or an OWNER expecting them to do anything for you, you are asking WAY too much. IT'S NO WONDER THE TENANT BEFORE ME GOT EVICTED THEY PROBABLY DIDN'T PAY BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS BROKEN!
