Be careful when you go!
I went to the service because the vehicle shows that break fluid is on service required while others all ok. Once I came in, an advisor pushed me to do break check. After I refused, I started the over 3 hours waiting. During the time, the advisor told me twice it s almost done. Another advisor explained that there is an identical car confused them. It sounds like a fresh excuse for the delay to me. When I finally got my car, I figured out that the vehicle info shows me the rear break pad is on service required instead!

Who can guess what happened on my car? LoL!

Just bought a 2020 BMW X3, Overall the experience was great and enjoyable. Anik Roy (my sales person) helped me through the process and really understood my needs and highlighted to me the various options that helped me made my decision. Then she managed to find me a car that matched my needs. Otto also gave me a fair value for my trade in. I am very happy with the experience at Otto BMW and highly recommend them to any BMW purchaser in Ottawa.

Otto's BMW sets the standard for all service industries from start to finish. All staff are courteous and authentically helpful, which includes efforts to avoid unnecessary charges. The new showroom is gorgeous and a positive attitude permeates the dealership. I've been so pleased with Krzysztof Goldewicz's persistently grade A service I took the time to figure out how to spell his name properly. Top notch!

A+ experience. I dealt with a Eric Bergstrom to purchase a new vehicle and it was a perfect experience. Very helpful not pushy in any way and took the time to treat me with respect and listened to what my needs in a vehicle were. From this point on I will always deal with Eric to purchase new vehicles. Support staff including an individual named Simon was helpful and patient with all my questions. A+ Dealership with A+ staff.

I didn't realize how lame their service was till I moved to Toronto and got my service at a different BMW location. The staff at the Toronto location are so much more polite, easy going, and professional. Here are what I found:

1) For my three years at Otto, I never received a multi point check list after each annual service (in paper or electronic). To be honest, I don't even know what service they performed, because the first time I got oil change in Toronto, the mechanic was so surprised at how aged and dark the oil looked, he wouldn't believe I had just performed an oil change at Otto location six months ago and the mileage suggested I wasn't due for another service for a while.

2) My new mechanic laughed when he saw the name tag was stapled on my tires by Otto staff as they stored my tires, which is obviously bad for the tires and one with sense and training would have used tape.

3) My new mechanic and I laughed together as we found out that three out of my four winter tires were missing centre caps. I have always left my tires at Otto for storage and the only time I took them with me was for this move, and they were sealed in bags. Where did the caps go -- we wondered. The staff at the new BMW location volunteered to give me a discount as they felt bad for me.

These are just a few things I discovered recently after going to a different location. I remember quite a few unpleasant encounters while I was in Ottawa dealing with Otto, including incompetent staff who can't answer a simple question, repairing things without checking with me even though promised, and overhearing how they talk to and treat other customers. I feel this place is lucky that it is in Ottawa, where the customers don't have many choices if they prefer to go to a BMW dealer for service. In a more competitive market with more BMW locations close to each other, it would only survive with many staff retrained or replaced.

I had a tremendous experience today purchasing my first BMW at Otto's BMW Centre on Hunt Club Road in Ottawa.
I first met some of the staff at the 2016 Ottawa Gatineau International Auto Show held in March of this year. The beauty of the vehicles as well as the warm friendly personalities of the professional staff drew me to this location when choosing my new vehicle. I was not disappointed. Sincere thanks to Pierre Tremblay, Mulualem Bokere and Luc Danis for making my day such a memorable one.

Best dealership customer service I have experienced in a very long time. Thanks to Micheal (sales person) and sales manager Neb. They were truly dare I say it, honest and helpful through the whole car purchasing experience. The dealership is also massive and really well maintained.

I recently purchased a 4-series Gran Coupe form Otto s and did so 100% remotely. When making a large purchase sight unseen, you put a lot of faith in both the sales person you are dealing with and the dealership they work for. I am delighted to say that this trust turned out to be extremely well-placed as Jose, Bijan, Jackie, and the rest of the team at Otto s went above and beyond to make the experience a simple and enjoyable one.

I made the pick up an overnight adventure with my two young sons and Otto s, being a family-oriented dealership, made this special for them as well.

This is my third consecutive BMW and based on this experience, there will almost certainly be a fourth and fifth in my future.

I brought my car in to get serviced and when I got it back there was damage to my windshield wipers and sprayer that was not previously there. I called them mutlipe times over a 2 month period to try and get the issue resolved and they only got back to me once. They claim I was lying about the damage and they can't help me. What great customer service.... Don't go here!

Overall a very pleasant experience. Attentive staff, complimentary coffee and cookies. Lengthy lineup for drop-off though. 15-20 minutes in line. On pickup even though they called to say the car was ready except for a car wash, when I arrived an hour later (half an hour after the car wash was supposed to have been completed), they had had an issue and my car wasn't ready so I waited another 20 minutes to get it and it wasn't washed in the end. A second call would have been nice.

From the start of my search to the final moment of the delivery process, I was amazed at the professionalism and attention to detail that was provided. My sales consultant, Eric Bergstrom showed a level of service that was exemplary, and I couldn't be happier with the vehicle I chose, and the process of acquiring it. Additional thanks to Financial Services Manager, Bijan Sanei for making the paperwork aspect flow smoothly and Cameron Gaudon, Delivery Specialist for getting me rolling on my great new wheels. Last week I put a deposit down on a used 335i at Otto's, after being told that it was in immaculate condition, never winter driven, and after getting the price I wanted. I checked everything one should check when buying a used car. Stupidly, I trusted the salespeople at Otto's BMW, and drove all the way from Kingston to finish the transaction. The car was far from being in immaculate condition and had telltale signs of being winter driven. I got my deposit back and wasted my day. After I asked why it wasn't in the condition advertised, the salesperson said something along the lines of, "well it would have been if you hadn't got me to reduce the price so much." Do not deal with these people unless you're going to buy a new car at the price they ask, or else you're just wasting your time.

I went to Otto's BMW to buy a BMW and luckily, I met with one of the best salespersons there named "Jakob Hisham Badr". I have been going here and there trying to finalize a car but wasn't able to. I am a big car enthusiastic and it is very hard for me to select car a which even have a single flaw. Jakob, however, made this experience a piece of cake. He treated me like a friend rather than a client and was very honest, transparent and effective at the same time. I would highly recommend people to go to him whenever you visit Otto's BMW for any car you want to buy, be it used or new. He made sure that I got the car before the promised delivery date and always stayed on top of it with prompt communication.The entire team is great and I look forward to have a long lasting relationship with the dealership.

These guys really helped me out in a pinch. Blower motor resistor had failed on my car and they managed to squeeze me in and get it fixed within a few hours. Very happy with their work and professionalism.

I've been dealing with Otto's on the service side for years, and have always had great service from Dory and Krzysztof. Recently, i was helped by Jakob Badr on the sales side. And, I'm happy to say it was an equally great experience. Jakob was very helpful, and made the buying experience as easy as possible. I would highly recommend Jakob when buying at Otto's!

Been there a few times for maintenance and some repairs to my car. While you might be able to get cheaper service for your BMW at some independent shops, in my experience, that comes at a price.

For instance, after trying oil changes at two independent shops, and always having the level of my oil decrease by a bit after a few months, I did the last two ones here and the oil level never fell between intervals.

Another example is when having to change two of my car s components: a rear LED taillight and the coolant pump. Both of these were slightly cheaper at two other independent shops, but their warranties and how fast it could get done were better at Otto s.

Finally, I the service section to be good. If you are waiting people are attentive and offer specialty coffees etc. If you are leaving your car, the shuttle service works well and they are usually very good at letting you know progress on your repairs. You can also call and I have found they are friendly and give you updates when you want them.

Note, my review is based on the service and parts section. I have not bought a car here, so I am not sure about their sales department.

I would recommend OTTO's BMW to the whole world! We have been dealing with Otto's for a long while now and the service is just exceptional from the start. We have always been buying off-lease BMW with exceptional extended warranties that makes it so easy if anything happens. (that makes sense!) About 3 weeks ago my husband and I went in so he can trade in his X5 for a newer X4 2017 so he did and we were greeted by Reza this tall handsome, exceptionally courteous guy. He made things so easy for us, he didn't complicate things and he was very easy to talk to. We told him our needs and he listened and worked with us and made it happen. He made things so easy that I traded my Audi A5 2013 for this James Bond M4 convertible 2015 in a heartbeat... It was so easy to do that for many reasons... customer service is the key and Otto's BMW has it all, they roll the red carpet for you, we really feel like on a trip when we go there. My husband at first wanted a cayenne, I made him realize that there will be no service after sale so he then realized too himself that Otto's is the way to go. All that to say... THANK YOU, THANK YOU Reza, the best to deal with!... Jackie, for explaining the gears on the car and truck! you're a good teacher!... Tyler Tobin - thank you for making my BMW buying experience the best experience I've had buying a car. I purchased a pre owned 535i which needed new brakes, tires, oils and detail. Tyler Tobin ensured all was completed appropriately according to our agreement. No pressure, knowledgable, cool, polite and always reachable for updates by text, phone or e-mail. I am a car loving dude who can be fussy for these types of transactions, Tyler made this deal the best experience I've had in my 20 years of car ownership.

After leasing two vehicles from Otto's I had a terrible experience with the return of my most recent. There was a few issues on the lease return inspection that I was assured would not be a problem by the dealership and was told not to worry about it. I did not end up leasing another vehicle with Otto's and then they sent me a bill for the previous lease return 2 months after the vehicle was returned.

We have a company lease program and now 8 other people within the company will not be leasing vehicles with them over this situation.

Honestly, I did not end up buying the car I wanted as I had more interest in a different car that is not a BMW, but I have to say that this is the best car dealership I have ever been into. Jose was very friendly and helpful and actually got me a very good deal. The manager is really nice as well and kept checking on us and made sure everything was okay. I just picked up a brand spanking new 340i. The experience was flawless from start to finish. I dealt with Jose Noguera. He was patient with my endless questions. He never tried to push us in one direction or another. And made recommendations based on what we wanted. First impression was great, door greeter and lady at reception were great then it went south. We were asked if we had an appointment, we replied that we did not but wanted to see a sales rep (our choice was made from shopping online but still have to go through one), we wandered in the showroon for half an hour and even tough it seemed that there was only a customer or 2 and about a dozen sales rep, no one ever came to serve us (we were dressed casually), we left and bough an x3 from Elite the same day.

Went in to buy a used BMW with between 15,000km and 25,000km, they had a few, but I must say I was disappointed in what was available (so much cosmetic damages that one I almost didn't believe it was not involved in a real accident. They clean and inspect cars only after you buy them, so don't expect that WOW effect when trying/buying used from them. I give it a 3 star because I was well received. Price wise they were close, but not the cheapest vs other dealers. I know this is only a review of my experience there, but I highly recommend shopping before on the internet and if you want to compare apples with apples give Audi a try, you will be happily surprised.

Ed Choi was one of the most professional and courteous vehicle sales persons I have ever dealt with. He made my purchasing experience extremely pleasant, and demonstrated a high level of integrity throughout the process. Ed was very thorough in presenting me with all the vehicle choices of interest to me, new and used. He also demonstrated a very thorough knowledge of the BMW line-up, including the features and technology in the 2017 230i that I am now the very proud owner of.

Christianno was also excellent on the day I picked up the car, explaining the many features and settings with a contagious enthusiasm. All in all, I was very impressed with the Otto's BMW Team. Highly recommended.

Despite the heat wave and being in their temporary location for so long, all staff were fantastic when I arrived to pick up my vehicle last week. Throughout my BMW ownership time every aspect has been taken care of impeccably.

Aside from being lat for our appointment, the car I test drove (hybrid) ran out of gas in the test drive - lucky there was a battery. Beyond that and other aspects, the whole experience didn't live up to expectations for what is positioned as premium/luxury products.

Went 3 times for service and 2 of them were problematic. 1st time the mechanic forgot to tighten a bolt or something, proving that they did not test drive the vehicle after the repair. I picked vehicle up after work at rush hour, got on the highway, noticed the rattling and then had to turn around in rush hour traffic to go back. Missed my son s soccer game as a result. They did nothing to compensate me.

2nd time they promised me a repair would be done by Wednesday after I had brought car in 1st thing Monday morning. My wife had to rent a car for 3 days. Wednesday comes around and no one has called me by 3 pm. When I call them I have to leave voicemail. I do this repeatedly. Eventually I have to demand receptionist to put a live human on the phone. Live human tells me they were sent the wrong part from their supplier and that they would need until Friday. I get the manager to promise me that he ll call me by 12 noon Friday to give me an estimate of when my car will ready for pick up. My wife has to rent the car for 2 more days. Friday noon comes around and no call. Rental car is due back at 2 pm or they charge another day. We have plans to drive out of town for weekend. I have to terrorize poor Otto s receptionist to get manager on the phone (not vm). He apologizes profusely for breaking his promise and then tells me car still not ready. He says he ll adjust the invoice and offers to give me a loaner for weekend. Following Monday morning car is finally ready. I return the loaner and clerk requires me to pay full price no adjustment as manager (who conveniently is not there) promised. Then he asks me if I filled up loaner s gas tank and I said no, it s at least half full and he can fill it after all the BS I ve been through. Just let me pay their premium bill ($150/hour for labor) and get out of this nightmare 5 days after originally promised date. He asks me to go drive their loaner across the street to fill it up. I nearly lose it. The guy gets all defensive and says but we didn t charge you for loaner! . I should have demanded they pay for the 5 day rental I had to pay because of their incompetence!!!

I understand that unexpected events and delays happen in every business, but how customer service reacts to these is crucial. Own the problem and fix it immediately. Duh! You d think that at a premium dealership with premium prices you d get premium service. Unfortunately at Otto s BMW they haven t even passed Customer Service 101. I get better service at a local shop and they re cheaper too. Never going back to Otto s for any reason. Can t trust them to even have the basic courtesy of calling back when they say they will.

The rad over flow bottle was cracked, and if you think that your getting better service from a BMW dealer Mechanic, think again,They also said that my Oil filter housing was leaking, it was not. Beware, these service advisers make a commission, to change things they don't have to. If you need 'good' Mechanics that know what they are doinglearly not the place. Long time client of BMW and in particular Otto's in Ottawa. I own a 2012 x3. In the past 2 years or so I have noticed a significant decline in customer service. In particular, the Service dept. Unable to reach a service advisor on numerous attempts and rarely receive a return phone call when message left. I hope Otto's sees this and improves the situation and avert the downward trend I am noticing.

Not impressed with the service I got from Otto's BMW. Booked my car in for first thing in the morning for an alignment. Car never got looked at until 2 pm and the work was then pushed to another day. Finally got the car back Tuesday afternoon. Never was it mentioned to me that it would take 4 days for an alignment. Had to wait hours for a call back for an update aswell. Looking over the invoice after I found they didn't even have my proper email address or licence plate number. I was not expecting service like this from Otto's.

I just purchased a BMW from Otto's BMW. My sales person was Feras El Abbas who had the BEST customer service I could ever ask for. Answering all my question and showing me many options when purchasing my Car. He even lifted the car so I could have a clear view of what I was purchasing top to bottom. A week later I got a flat tire and went into the dealership and Feras El Abbas made it feel like home. VERY welcoming. He pointed me out to the Service manger which also had amazing customer service and called around a few places to order me another tire. He mounted it and put it onto my car which I was very satisfied with the same day. Kevin who was another Service employee passed my expectation of service towards me as well when I was picking up my Car. Giving me advice of how to use the USB in the car and when all the service was done prior to me picking up the car, the car was clean as the vacuumed all the floors and cleaned the seats. Otto's this is how you get a customer to reference all his other friends and family. Very Satisfied. I will be back for all my service at OTTO'S Only.

I recently had issues with my 4-year old BMW and needed to replace a few parts. Although I had to go through a third party warranty company, which made things more onerous and frustrating, Otto s BMW went beyond expectations to make my experience seemless and stress-free. Krzysztof in Service in particular was amazing to deal with, but then again so were many others I spoke to or dealt with throughout the process. My final invoice was also lower than originally quoted, which is always a nice surprise. Honestly an A++ experience from start to finish.

This is one of the many dealerships I tow into regularly and the level of service is outstanding. Most dealerships will not give you the time of day as a tow op let alone help you with questions. The staff at ottos is by far the best and most helpful even bringing tow operators chilled water on those hot summer days.

I made an appointment to speak with a sales manager and I was made to wait over an hour in the showroom. The sales associate I made the appointment through was "very busy" when I arrived and we never actually had face time. When I finally met the Otto's sales manager with an offer from Elite, it was "beaten" by offering winter floor mats. Hardly makes up for the hour wait and the dismissive treatment.

Note that the reception staff was very attentive and tried many times to get the attention of the sales staff but I was shrugged off. They're the reason I give the dealership 2 stars versus 1.

I ended up buying my 4-series BMW at Elite BMW the next day.

I had a poor experience here. Wanted to buy the model that would show up in April at that time. They had no prices for it and there were no brochures available however to get the car when it launches the sales person told me to put a deposit. He laughed ironically when I said I won't purchase something they dont even bother telling me a price for. They somehow wanted me to sign up for the MSRP whatever that would be. And one more thing, I was looking to buy a 2 door car the "best" they could do was to have me test drive a 4 door model. Honestly it wasnt about their inventory problems it was about their attitude. Next day I bought an Audi A5.

after only a few months since buying a new battery...

after only a few months since buying a new battery for my 323i it died during cold weather. Came into the dealership with the hopes of replacing the battery. After an hour and a half, they were only able to determine that it was because of cold weather and didn't offer any real solution. And still charged me $65 + HST. Customer reps told me "it's only $65". Awful service, not buying from here again!

The parts and service guys at Otto's really came through for me today. Bought parts from them to do an emergency repair, but the connector was wrong...as spec'ed by their catalog. Friday at 4pm they hooked me up with custom parts required to complete the fix. Thank you Renado and team!

very disepointit with service they will add things to change evry service with no nedet to be change and evry time i was there after cuple of days my chackengine it was on like it was setup to be replace something. i sent it to change oil after 1 day my stering wheel was block change next time was my dors lockt many other things.

Great show room. I do find it hard to get someone to approach you and ask if you have any questions. Staff just seem to stand around and ignore you. Maybe it's the brand or perhaps they have to many people coming in to drool over what they can't have. Regardless, I feel they could do better at being more proactive in starting a conversation with potential buyers.

If I could add more stars I would have chosen 10 for Masood Jenali. Fantastic sales rep who understood exactly what I was looking for and within the time I needed the X3. Thanks so much Masood for your patience with me, lol, since it was my first "real" vehicle!! I highly recommend Otto's and even more highly Masood because he is very professional, knowledgeable and patient!

Was really interested in getting myself a new car from Otto's on Saturday late afternoon. Stood around over 30 minutes looking at cars in the showroom and no one had approached me and the dealership didn't seem too busy either. There might have been a couple of clients there which seem like they were being helped. The only guy to acknowledge my presence was a client himself asking if I was looking at the X1 or X3. One would think to ask if you needed any assistance as soon as you walk through the door.
