Excellent service, had a choice of delivery days, got a 2 hour slot and driver rang 20 mins before he arrived, pleasant driver, will definitely use again and recommend it to family and friends.

Found that Marks Electrical offered the best price for the Hoover built-in oven that I was looking for. Ordered on line on Monday night, specified delivery for the following Saturday, and it arrived mid afternoon, delivered by two friendly staff. Visually checked the oven, which was in perfect condition. Installed the oven on Sunday, and are absolutely delighted. The price that was listed, was subject to an additional 10% discount at checkout, plus free delivery.
Fantastic experience, and will be using this company again.

Ordered a Stoves Double gas oven BI 1900G and it was delivered on time, in perfect condition. The delivery men, Craig and Nick, were polite and helpful and put it in the garage awaiting installation. The oven is gorgeous and cooks everything to perfection so am well pleased. A very competitive price as well. Will definitely use Marks Electrical again for any other appliances I need in the future.

They have a very tunnel vision approach to customer service when addresses are concerned and their processes and don't look outside the box. I also selected unpacking on the website and didn't get anything on the invoice. Had I not cancelled my order I would have had to follow this up, and stay in queue for more than half an hour on their phone line.

First delivery day no show. No call, no email.
Second day, they thought it was delivered. Until I called. Cannot deliver until another day.
Day three, no show. No call. Email at 5:45pm, drivers are at the pub (maybe) .
Cannot deliver till Monday.

Cancelled order.

Fundamentally flawed logistics process does not prioritize rescheduled customers. It's based on location only which means if you are not in the right area you are always last on the list and guess what you never get your goods.

This company offers gold star service (think old school John Lewis) but with a very reasonable price tag! What a breath of fresh air! I'll start at the beginning... items are shown as in or out of stock on the website so you know what you can get quickly and what you can't. Having been duped by this before I picked up the phone to them and it was answered within a minute by a lovely chap who helped me find what I needed, get it ordered and booked delivery... for 2 days time! He recommended I took the 2 man delivery service, I'm so glad I did! This morning, Ali and Mark called me to say they were 30 minutes away (not all delivery people do this but it's really helpful!), the guys were polite, friendly and worked with our not-too-easy house entrance with a smile to get our new items inside. I will recommend Marks Electrical to anyone looking for appliances from now on! Will use again myself in the future too! Thank you, outstanding service.

Where to start this this tinpot money grabbing company. The delivery drivers say they tried calling me 3 times yet muggings was waiting by the phone all day, after waiting around i placed a call to the customer services and spoke to a girl called Georgia, she wasn't willing to help at all, then she broke the data protection act of 2018. In this current situation i believe her lack of compassion just shows the incompetence of this company.

They phoned me in advance to give me an arrival time and although it was a real struggle getting the appliance in to the kitchen they smiled throughout. Don't get deceived by their prices..they will earn back the remaining cost by coming to your doorstep and say some or other problems for not being able to fit new appliance, eventually making you to pay for re-delivery or a whopping 50 pounds to return it back

Worst customer service I have ever had.They are not helpful at all and will keep pointing to their Terms and conditions and say which is useless.

Just needed a bigger hole in the board below the sink for hose pipe and filter to go thru for dishwasher which they say they cant do and ripping off 50 pound for return cost.
Appliance fits nicely,power plugs in place,water connections in place but they still find some or other reason to not install the appliance and just get away with 50gbp for returned goods.

I believe they are roaming around with few appliances in stock taking to customer house just to say they cannot install for bla bla reason and pay 25 quid for redelivery setting up whatever they ask for or 50 quid if you cancel the order.

No option to give zero or negative rating else I would have given it.

awful awful AWFUL customer service - so even if you get just the appliance it will be nightmare to get something sorted through their customer service.

New appliance was not even bought into my house but being charged 50quid as for a simple reason that the hole on the board need to be of bigger diameter - which no customer would expect until engineer says

And no point of escalation in customer service - you have to write by letter or email if you need to raise complaint.

Great experience yesterday. It s amazing how many retailers don t carry Fridge Freezers in stock, they re mostly home delivery. However that s where Marks Electrical step in. I was able to reserve online and collect from the depot in Leicester (a bit of an understatement as this is a proper showroom). When your fully stocked fridge freezer goes bang, the last thing you want to do is wait for a home delivery so a massive thanks to Marks for saving the day.

We've been using Marks Electrical for years. They always try to help as much as possible and don't try to push a sale. They're moving premises, so we're hoping for a really great showroom.
Unfortunately the attention given in the showroom does not extend to deliveries. Despite being given dates and times by them, our item did not turn up. An email and phone calls did eventually lead to our goods being delivered.

I can't rate this company enough. My dishwasher packed up on Friday night. We ordered a new one from Mark's electricals midday on Saturday and it arrived 3PM on Sunday. This is an amazing service considering all the other retailers could not deliver untill the first week in January. Only John Lewis were offering this model at the same price . Mike and Jamie the delivery drivers phoned ahead and our order was delivered earlier than expected. On arrival they were very friendly, helpful and offered fantastic customer service. We had not heard of Mark's Electricals but we would highly recommend this company and would definitely use you in the future! Thank you so much from my wife as she now does not have to wash up on Christmas day! Simon from Stevenage.

Bought an integrated tumble dryer - White Knight C4317 from Marks. I opened only the front packaging (see picture) so I could open the tumble dryer door in order to get to the fitting instructions.

Absolutely shocked at this appliance, the door mechanism and hinge is ridiculously flimsy and made from very cheap plastic. The tumble dryer door window itself is made from even cheaper plastic - same quality as a plastic boxes from a take away salad bowl!

I realise there are not many integrated tumble dryers out there but I'm surprised that Marks would such a poor quality appliance.



Next time, I'll be going in store instead of purchasing appliances online.

During lockdown we replaced our kitchen but the dishwasher we wanted was out of stock everywhere. I spoke to Cristian at Marks Electrical and he said if I put a deposit down I would receive one as soon as their new stock arrived at the beginning of September. He said that if the dishwasher was available earlier from somewhere else I could get my deposit back.
I was fortunate in that another supplier let me know they had it in stock so I range Mark's Electrical and told them and within the day I had an email confirming my cancellation and refund being processed.
Great customer service, I will definitely use them in future.

We have just had a kitchen ext and purchased our appliances from Marks Electrical. We received the goods and once we unwrapped the items, the fridge freeze was marked and scratched and the wine cooler was scratched on the temp controls. The temp controls wasn't working either. We called their customer service centre, they told us we have to approach the manufacture directly and they would have to come out to see if the fix the item. They are not flexible as regards to times for engineers coming out as you would people work.

We thought it would be a simple collect and replacement. How wrong we was, they are so rude and not customer focuses at all. My partner called them and they put the phone down 3 times when she called. They are happy to take your money but when it comes to service that shows me their true colours. We paid a lot of money for our items and don't expected items to be scratched and should be working correctly. I would not recommend them and warn all future customers to stay away from them!!!!!!!

When the delivery men came they said they can t deliver it because there s no parking(even though there is if they were willing to put money on the meter. The delivery men said they will come back on Sunday which they did but then said they will have to re-arrange the delivery because the flat is on the second floor.

When I spoke to the woman on the phone she was very rude and said they would now only deliver it on the ground floor

Now stuck with the fridge and offered nothing but a 10% discount because I plugged it in coupled with a tough luck there is nothing else we can do because that's what our terms and conditions say. Probably the worst experience of online purchasing we ve ever encountered!!!
Ordered 3 items in the Black Friday sale in November, still waiting for a refund!!!
No oven for Christmas, thanks for that! even after endless telephone conversations and emails , promises made that we would receive the goods even dispatch emails with tracking numbers but nothing turned up ! Eventually admitted that they don t have the goods in stock ! And still waiting for refund as I type this ! DISGUSTING SERVICE BORDERING ON ILLEGAL!!!!

Terrible customer service not interested in complying with consumer law. Bought a dishwasher and stopped working after 10 uses. Manufacturers tried twice to repair and failed. Marks Electrical don't return calls and ignore letters of complaint. Refer you back to manufacturer who refer you back to Marks Electrical. Been without a dishwasher now since 3rd December and still no idea when it will be repaired or replaced. Had I read all the reviews on Google would never have purchased from this atrocious company.

Don't be fooled by Marks Electrical quick replies to their terrible reviews. It's still the same contempt for customers failing to reply to emails or phone calls despite their comments.
If they put as much time and effort into dealing with their actual customers as they do into replying to Google reviews they might find the online comments improve.
The manufacturer wants a third go at repairing a not fit for purpose dishwasher 24 days after the problem first reported. SHOP ELSEWHERE

this was a first class demonstration of how to create a raving fan of a customer. From beginning to end of the sales and delivery process it was seamless faultless and just an overall pleasure that finally someone did what they said they would do. The salesman Christian knew his stuff and successfully helped me chose the right machine for our family, not over selling or pushy just offering sound advice an overcoming objections.We came to an arrangement to pick up the old machine and they also picked up a fridge which was not being replaced by them... this is the extra mile. At 4.30 pm on Friday I expected to be told Monday delivery, no Saturday, I was told i would get a text by 7,30 giving me the delivery window. yes and at 7,30 the text delivery between 12 and 2. 1.30 saturday i get a phone call delivery there in 15 mins, sue enough the guy was there very helpful in all aspects . So far I would highly recommend Marks electrical, good prices a vast range of product but more than anything which is where they have differentiated themselves, a great customer service experience provided by great people. Mark who ever you are congratulations take care of your staff and make sure you reward them highly compared to the rest of the industry to ensure you have staff retention and thus maintain the very high standards
