ME saved Christmas. Ordered a new aeg cooker as our old one had gone wrong and fancied a better one. Plenty of delivery times available. Text received as promised the night before to confirm 2 hour slot and phoned 20 mins before to say they were on the way. Oven wired in, levelled and clock set. All packaging removed and old oven taken away. Perfect.

I ordered an Indesit dishwasher from Marks Electrical, who offered the best price for it I could find anywhere on the internet. I'd never ordered from them before but decided to give them a try based on good reviews.
Immediately after ordering, I received a number of well written communications from Marks Electrical regarding my order, what to expect, and steps I could take to ensure quick and easy installation. The dishwasher was delivered to my home the following day, right on time. The man who installed it was a polite and jovial fellow named Courtney who was very mindful of preserving the tidiness of my kitchen while he worked. I was favourably impressed with Marks Electrical at every stage of my interaction with them and will definitely consider placing orders with them again.

Nearly ruined our Christmas.
Ordered in November with a promise the cooker was in stock and it would be delivered before Christmas. When delivery day came it turned out it wasn t in stock, leaving us just a few days to source another cooker with 12 guests due on Christmas day!!! Absolute nightmare; communication and customer service were awful. Got a full refund in the end.

I was almost put off ordering from here due to a fair few negative reviews, but the fact they said they could get me a new washing machine next day, instead of a week's wait like the 'big boys' made it worth the gamble. Gamble paid off! New machine delivered the morning after ordering, a few quid cheaper than I could find it elsewhere too, The 2 hour delivery slot plus a phone call 30 mins before delivery was the icing on the cake. I would definately use these guys again and will recommend them.

Bought a refrigerator, price was very good. Paid for the 2 man delivery as my house is down a path with several steps and turns. Delivery time and date were exactly when they said it would be, they texted the day before with the time and the delivery guy phoned me 45 minutes before arrival. What a joke, we've bought a dishwasher there, it broke shortly and the producer gave as a code to give to the retailer in order to arrange exchange. This is where everything went wrong, dealing with Marks Electrical customer service is terrible, I've called 4 times now during 7 days span, and all I hear (after being redirected multiple times) is that someone will call me back.

I can't recommend them at all, their website have seen the 90s and their customer service is non existent, should have gone with JL.

Marks were professional to deal with on the telephone, and once I had placed the order for a dishwasher, their emails about delivery were helpful and informative. A text arrived promptly the evening prior to the delivery day giving me a 2-hour time window, and the phone call in the morning gave me the promised half hour's notice. Delivery was carefully done and the machine arrived in perfect condition. Excellent service all round.

Can't fault the price or delivery, but customer service is shocking!
Reported a defected wok stand on my Neff hob back in October, sent all the info pictures as requested, I was told this was now being dealt with the manufacturer and will be contacting me direct, no such response received, rang customer service several times to further understand and each time I was told the person dealing with my request will get in touch, never happened I had to ring back, finally spoke to the person originally dealing with report only to say will get in touch with manufacturer and ring me back straight away with outcome. End of year and still no response! Will be seeking external advice.

Needed a warming drawer in a hurry, to finish our kitchen. Not only did Marks Electrical have the one we wanted much cheaper, there was also 10% extra off too and free delivery on a chosen day. They texted the night before with delivery details and goods arrived early in 2 hour time slot the next morning. Would recommend on this experience.

Great service. They will give you a notice one day before delivery with time slot and name of the delivery person. I purchased a LG 49" TV. Loved the service and also the reviews for that TV which I didnt find anywhere else. Also Marks Electrical offered the cheapest price compared to any other store.

Excellent service and delivery of the goods was first class. Only had the appliance for 2 days but it certainly is living up to expectations.

Appalling service. I had two failed deliveries. The reason for one was driver sickness (fair enough I thought at the time) it was then rearranged for the Monday. I tried to call them all weekend to let them know I couldn t have it delivered then as I was working. No answer on the phones. On the Monday we called and then rearranged for the Tuesday which my partner took off work. Didn t turn up again due to apparently an error with the truck. I then asked for a refund since we were without a freezer and now down a days wage too. It has been 3 weeks now and I haven t received my money back. I ve called countless times to be told 2-5 working days. 1st excuse after a week of waiting was an accountant had to authorise it. 2nd excuse was there had been a system error and 3rd they simply didn t know. How can a huge company like them take nearly 3 weeks to give you your money back. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that they were in a meeting I enquired when they were going to be free and was told I don t know but I ll ask someone to call you before half 5. Did I get a call back?? Nope. I m absolutely fuming and I will never ever use this company again or recommend to anyone I know ever. Don t be fooled by the low prices because if there s a problem you re stuffed. If I could give them minus stars I would.

Very easy to place the order. Guy who took the order was efficient and went over the order without rushing me. Washer was delivered on time with advanced notice via E-maily and a mobile phone call by the driver. He put the washer exactly where I asked him to.Very helpful guy. Washer so far has been excellent, better than I had hoped. Covered it for 5 years so hopefully can forget about it now and just hope I have no problems.

A Miele Washing Machine was my 1st order with Marks Electrical. They were the best price on the internet and delivered within 2 days of my order. The delivery was free and well worth the installation charge as the guy struggled to fit but wasn't deterred. I would fully recommend this company.

Ordered a washing machine at 3 pm on Wednesday and delivered by 10am the next day. Fantastic service form Toby in sales and Jason and Najib on delivery.
Cheaper than curry s and free next day delivery, faultless.

Do NOT trust this companies reviews. I wrote a bad review for a horrible fridge that was purchased from Marks Electrical. It was censored and ultimately not accepted. This company misleads via censored reviews and cannot be trusted.

Awful service - left a fridge freezer in the middle of my 86 year old mother in laws kitchen and walked off - would'nt even put it against the wall because they had not been paid to fit it?!

Bought tumble driver which was competitively priced and delivered on time by friendly helpful driver. Will use again when next need something. A happy customer.

We ve bought from this company before and were very pleased but things have changed. Despite our wanting to buy a Samsung fridge freezer, the gentleman we spoke to was totally unhelpful on the phone and genuinely had no interest in answering any questions I had. Poor show.

Turned up with the wrong washing machine... then told me they aren't sure if they have the correct one in stock and it'll be a few more days before they can deliver the correct one if they do have it. Highly inconvenient so I cancelled the order and got it delivered next day from appliances direct.

Worst customer service I have experienced
Bought a cooker with 5 year warranty which I paid for.
Chased them up for 8 weeks for a small part.
They dragged this for 8 weeks.ignored my e-mail complaint,never replied or rang back as promised.was than told that I had to purchase this parts even though O paid for the service.Will never buy from them again

Leaving a one star review because I can t leave a zero star one. We placed an order for a fridge looking for a delivery. On the day that was agreed they ended up not being able to do it. We only found out because we called them. They never returned a phone call and each time they said they d call us, they didn t. Charlotte was the customer services person we spoke to. I ve never witnessed such unprofessionalism from someone before. She was patronising and unhelpful. We ended up cancelling the entire order. If you re looking for a company that offers friendly service, id avoid these.

Claim to do a price match on their website, saw an item (RangeMaster Hood) on prcdirect.co.uk website - met their criteria for price match (i.e exact same thing, no cashbacks, in stock etc) and Marks declined to price match (despite being a repeat customer) - LOL - dont advertise a price match guarantee if you cant actually price match - waste of time - if they cant be trusted with what they claim on their website then good luck once you buy something.

Opposite experience. Asked to go to their warehouse which is not signposted. No one in sight to assist. Called customer services twice who then eventually sent someone down to help. Faffing around for 30 minutes before eventual collection!

Price could not be beaten, and with the removal of my old freezer thrown in as well a bargain. Ordered a Stoves range cooker a couple of years ago but due to the manufacturer constantly changing the delivery date and my need to have it before Christmas I had to cancel the order with Marks and seek the product from another retail who already had the product in their warehouse. Marks were excellent at refunding the money and keeping in touch regarding the manufacturers dates. Due to the good customer service I'd received last time when it came to ordering a dishwasher they were in the running. I had looked at Currys website and saw they didn't have the one I wanted in stock ( due to my previous experience if I'm purchasing something I check the stock levels so I don't have to rely on manufacturers) Marks however did have the one I wanted and also had an excellent delivery date. I ordered it Sunday morning and it was delivered by themselves first thing Tuesday morning ( it was a Bank Holiday) the pre text message to say the time slot was spot on, we were the first drop and the driver was here before 7am. It makes all the difference to have a delivery done by the shops own transport, makes it more personal. Ours was a national delivery as were not local to the shop. All this was done over the website but it did feel like it was a shop down the road. Perfect.

Fast, excellent service. Ordered fridge/freezer Monday morning, delivered Tuesday afternoon. Excellent communication throughout via text and telephone calls. Delivery driver, Lee Freer, got held up in the morning and a text was received regarding possible delay, but Lee telephoned in the afternoon and delivery ended up being slightly earlier than original time slot. How can a company accept an online payment for an item that is out of stock saying delivery is within 12 days and 2 weeks later tell me that they are still trying to get it from the manufacturer. I've asked twice for a refund and I'll ask a 3rd time!

PROCESS OF ORDERING:
The online tool to order was fast and simple to secure the transaction. They followed up with a swift email reply to say that the order was being processed, and in no time our delivery date had been secured. Then we received an email and text confirming all details: order has been processed | delivery is due on this date and | more info to follow - which turned out to be the estimated time of delivery. On the day of delivery we received a polite call advising us that they would be early for delivery and whether that was OK - we said: "SURE" and they delivered as promised. After delivery we received an email invoice, with a request to feedback, which we have done because the service is EXCELLENT.

Mark's Electricals are definitely more competitive than anywhere else, and truly value their customers by keeping their promises. They are organised and keep you involved throughout.

WORST COMPANY EVER. If I could have left 0 stars that would have been more fitting. Couldn t fit my item ordered as fitters said would not comply with building regs (wasn t clear on Website when ordering however) and 2 weeks later I am still waiting for my refund to be PROCESSED. Excuse - we haven t collected the item from the fitter yet but usually there everyday. And I am still waiting for a call back from the manager on the matter 5 days ago where I was told the item would be collected as soon as possible!! Excellent work - at this rate I will have to drive up, collect item, return to Marks - and then wait another week for the funds to clear If they can manage a refund that day. My advice - avoid at all costs!!

I ordered a Panasonic NN-CF853W microwave oven on the afternoon of Monday 8th September & it was delivered to my door in Southwest London @ 12.15 on Tuesday 9th September. Is that good service or not! Great service. It was up & working that same afternoon. Thanks a lot.

We were amazed that we could place an order after 12 noon and receive it the next day - free.
We were told the name of the delivery person, which enhanced the experience, and he was a very nice and professional person.

Delivery team Simon Stevenso and Simon wright were the most arrogant selfish people my wife has encountered during a delivery... Dropped washing Machine on the doorstep and left it there but when asked why he wouldn't bring it in well the abuse she got wasn't called for... Good job I wasn't in otherwise he would not be walking for a while.
