Fantastic service. So excellently dealt with. The ordering was so easy,
the web site was so easy to use, the whole ordering and payment service was wonderful. We immediately received our Invoice by email, also received a message by email telling us a time-slot (within specified 2 hours, between 10 & 12 noon) on the delivery day. Then we received a text when the delivery was 30 mins away. Delivery men were so helpful and polite. Fantastic advert for the Company. We would most certainly use this Company again - we have never received such fantastic service before!

MarksElectrical informed me the day before of the time that they would deliver my new fridge freezer. On the actual day Danny W phoned me to confirm that he would deliver my appliance within 25 minutes. My new appliance was delivered on time. The driver also removed my old appliance.

Must admit was sceptical at using Marks Electrical at first as not heard of them before but I need not have worried. Service second to none Dan was a great help in fact excellent. Pricing not to be beaten and delivery by Tyrone from Marks was brilliant and fast. A super efficient friendly competitive company. I know who will be getting my future business. Brilliant product (Indesit washer/dryer), brilliant price, brilliant service. Delivered on named day as requested, lots of notice, lovely helpful driver. The washer/ dryer replaced an old Indesit washing machine that lasted a trouble-free 10 years. This new one is a lovely-looking machine and very quiet. No problems so far. I did notice the wash programmes took twice ad long as my old one but I can live with that and it seems to do a very thorough job.

Firstly I never leave reviews. Ever. I order so much online and work such long hours I never have the time to write reviews for anything But this was a genuinely exceptional experience. My fridge died. I needed one with specific dimensions to fit the existing space. All the other obvious online places only gave me 1-2 options. When I came to pay at these other places it ended up out of stock or the next day delivery was actually 2 weeks out. Not only did Mark's have LOTS of options in the size I wanted...but it was in stock but they definitely could do a next day delivery. So I ordered it. And given the great experience I thought I may as well order a new washing machine as well because I had been planning to replace. So I made a couple of calls to their call centre and they were able to add this to the delivery and take payment over the phone. The customer service on the phone and the delivery guys was exceptional.

Early days,but so far so good!
My elderly mum had a fridge delivered and plugged in 2 days ago!
Hoping that the fact they didn't let it 'settle' in for a few hours won't effect its long term performance!
The delivery guys were very nice apparently, in and out very quickly with job done.
The only problem for an elderly person was the very early delivery of 6.15am!!!
But she coped....took her all day to get over it though!
Ordering on line was easy peasy and arrived in a week.

Soundbar doesn't work

Have spoken with customer service now FOUR times who have promised an engineer. Not a single visit, return call, call to see how I am getting on.

Have now called for the 5th time to find them closed on Saturday. It now nearly 1 month since I bought the Samsung TV and soundbar and if someone doesn't contact me Monday I am getting a refund - you can unscrew the TV from the wall too.

If you can PLEASE get this combined package working I will happily remove this review as I dont like leaving it - but I seem powerless without it.

From ordering my vacuum to receiving it, I have never had better service. The website was easy to navigate and use, payment was secure and easy to make.
Delivery was exceptional. Given a date, (two days after ordering,) later a time slot via a text message. A phone call from the driver 40 minutes before the actual delivery. All backed up with emails. And as a bonus, the driver was cheeful and pleasant. Marks Electricals will be the first site I visit in future for any electricals

Ordered a washing machine which was cheaper than any other supplier and free delivery, asked if we could have help installing it as we are elderly, the sales person told us that for a small extra payment they would remove the old washer, install the new one and take the packaging and washer away. The washer was delivered at the time agreed by two pleasant young men who did everything for us. I cannot thank Marks Electrical enough it was a pleasure to deal with all the staff from start to finish. Thank you.

You order a TV from Marks Electrical for NEXT DAY delivery. They then take the money from your bank account, and they go and check to see if they can supply the TV. On the day of delivery when they find out they can't supply it, they cancel the order without even telling you. Marks Electrical then hold onto your money and will not refund ASAP until 3 days later meaning you cannot buy from elsewhere.

I wish I could rate a bit higher but the delivery driver scuppered any chance of that. His manner (or lack of) was something to be desired. Maybe a career of not having to encounter people would be more suited. His stroppyness (with want of a better word) was almost comical. It comes to something when my 2 year old has better manners than a grown man.

The cooker did arrive on time though but I wouldn t use this company again because life is too short to have to deal with deplorable people.

We visited ME to look at washing machines. The showroom holds all brands, is large, easy to get around and there was NO hassle from sales team. Questions we had were answered and we decided not only to buy a washing machine but a fridge and freezer also. Both these items were fetched from the warehouse and unpacked for us to inspect. Nothing was too much trouble. They delivered washing machine on Saturday as requested. Time was emailed on Friday evening and driver called 20 mins before arrival.
The driver was very smart, knowledgeable, very pleasant and installed machine for us. All packing etc was removed from site. We wanted to delay delivery of fridge etc and this was no problem for Marks Electric.
The price? Exactly the same as the major discount stores - we checked!!

Horrible company. I've ordered vacuum on 4/06/20, I paid straight away, using my debit card. They send me confirmation and message that deliver will be on next day, so I was waiting and nothing. I messaged them, they said that details on my card are incorrect so they need to hold my purchase. They were saying that my address , CVV is incorrect what is not true. I'm using my card from ages. When I phone them I was treated like thief and cheater(they have had my money already!) I've send them proof of my address and statement from my bank showing my detail and that payment been done. They couldn't do anything to realise my order, so they decided do cancel it. Not recommended, stay away!!! I hope my money will back soon!!!!

Cooker hood arrived minus charcoal filter detailed in the listing. In fairness this was sent out at no cost, although should have been included as advertised. However, once installed, the protective installation film was then removed, which peeled off part of the chrome finish on the product. Clearly a manufacturing defect. Called Marks to request replacement due to faulty goods & was told once item is installed it's not their problem. Explained I couldn't have known about the problem prior to installation & their response was the protective film (which is there to protect from scratches during transit/installation) should have been removed after delivery to check for damage. Rude staff who wouldn't accept any responsibility or help in any way. They also claimed to have spoken to the manufacturer who had apparently also said that once installed they weren't liable. This was a total lie. I called manufacturer directly, they hadn't had a call from the retailer & were only too happy to help as it clearly sounded like a manufacturing defect. Sent an engineer out who immediately confirmed this (and who laughed when told that Marks suggested the protective film should have been removed prior to installation). Manufacturer then sent engineer to remove faulty item & install replacement. Manufacturer was great, but if it had been left to Marks I'd be left with a defective product. Very poor service. Will never use again or recommend.

I ordered a Miele Vacuum Cleaner on 26th November and paid it. Then I got a message from the seller that my product was not available before the 11th December. When I was checking on 11th what was going on with my order, they told me they didn't receive the stock yet and that it will arrive only on 28th December. I was very annoyed and asked if in that case it will be delivered to my home at least before the new year. They said it will if it arrives to them by 28th. It arrived to them, but I got a message it will be dispatched from their store only on 2nd January. They said that DPD is not available before. A big fat lie: I ordered a product from Germany (not UK!) yesterday, it was already dispatched and it will arrive latest on 3rd January to my home with DPD. Marks Electrical are keeping instead my already more than one month ago paid produckt in their stock without sending it out. I will never again buy from this shop!

After publishing this review at TrustPilot, Marks Electrical responded: "Since looking into this, I can see the item was out of stock when you ordered it. We advise 8-14 working days for items that are out of stock. Your ordered the item on the 26th and it was delivered on the 3rd which is 8 days.We apologise we did not have stock of this item when you placed the order but we were within our estimated time frame. "

They are very bad at maths too! I ordered and paid the vacuum cleaner on 26th NOVEMBER and received it on 3rd JANUARY! This is one month and 8 days, not 8 days! So my disappointment has a strong reason and is after such a lousy response from the seller also accompanied with anger.

We were immediately impressed by the service as soon as we entered Marks Electrical store. We were politely asked what we were looking for, and the shown to the relevant area of display. The salesman explained the advantages of different oven models, and then said he'd leave us alone.
He seemed extremely knowledgeable about the products and genuinely interested in making sure that we chose an oven to suit our needs. There was no hard sell, and no pushing to complete the deal, but we did complete the deal quickly anyway!
Once we had placed our order the excellent service continued with text updates informing us when the oven was expected to arrive in stock.
The delivery & installation was also brilliant, no mess, no fuss and no problems!
We wholeheartedly recommend Marks Electrical, and will certainly use them when we next need kitchen appliances.

Purchased an American Style fridge freezer - Marks Electrical provided a very professional delivery service. Despite the item being a little large for my kitchen doorway, the delivery men swiftly removed the fridge door handles to enable passage - and removed my existing similar sized fridge. They were unable to connect the fridge to my water supply due to a problem with the water pipe which required a significant plumbing alteration. However, they refunded my connection fee in full.
The 2 delivery agents were polite and professional throughout. I can heartily recommend.

Delivery was following day and very good communications and arrived on time. A refreshing change compared to high street big names, 1 month order process and on line completion AD of Yorkshire who told untruths about stock.

I ordered an oven from them on 15 February 2020. It was delivered on 16 February 2020. The oven was installed on 18 February 2020.

Once installed, we noticed a fault in the base of the oven. This was reported to Marks Electrical immediately.

I spent the next 1.5 months chasing Marks Electrical, a third party engineer and AEG because the customer services staff at Marks Electrical (Including the Customer Services Manager) were unable to take ownership of this issue and look for a means to resolve it.

I received the same generic response from each time I tried to talk about the issue and try to find a solution: "Our policy states that once an appliance is installed, it is deemed as accepted in the condition as is".

When I called and asked to speak to the manager, I was put on hold for over 45 minutes and in the end I was told she was unavailable.

I wrote to their CEO and he still hasn't responded.

As I said, it was my determination and it took me chasing the issue with three different companies before the issue could be resolved. If I had left this in the hands of the customer services staff at Marks Electrical, I would still be sitting with a dangerous faulty item in the kitchen and no reasonable understanding or response from any of their staff.

Shockingly poor. I will never use again.
