Ordered a new washing machine and left the old one...

Ordered a new washing machine and left the old one in the porch. Delivery man arrived and made me take the new one off him and drag into the house whilst standing watching me with his trolley. Totally rude with a terrible attitude, we went to Marks as they were cheaper than anywhere else, should of paid the extra to receive a decent customer service experience.

I await your findings.

My post is not going to be as good as the others.
I had a very bad experience with Marks Electrical. Bought the very expensive oven just after Christmas, delivered next day, unfortunately it was faulty. It took few days to get the agreement to exchange for new one. I was informed that the waiting time is 8-14 days. Three weeks later no response. Got in touch with ME to be told that I have to wait another two weeks, two weeks later again- no communication. Rang again to hear that my oven wasn t ordered till 23.01 - two weeks after the first phone call!!!! Now I have to wait another week...
Customer service is very poor, no communication at all!!!
That not everything
I left feedback on ME website that was never published!!!!! Shocking

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service

Refusing to engage to resolve an issue with a damaged washing machine. Customer services refusing to listen and repeatedly talked over. Correspondence has gone unanswered. They also have no knowledge and/or complete disregard for consumer rights legislation and are trying to avoid their statutory obligations. Will be referring my complaint to the Ombudsman, Trading Standards and ultimately issuing a claim in the Small Claims Court for a refund that has thus far refused.

Update- within 2 hours had a call from ME to advise they did not want this matter to escalate as above and that I would receive a further call before 5.30 to advise of next steps for a replacement or refund, my choice. No call received.

I ordered a washing machine saturday evening, Monday morning at 8am it was delivered, excellent service, the delivery driver was happy and chippy which was nice to hear, the delivery driver phoned before he came to tell us when he would be arriving,even the van was clean and classy looking. Our driver was called Ian. I will definitely use this company again.

I like this company and would like to think that I could use them again, however upon my most recent purchase I feel I have been let down by customer service / after sales. I purchased an item off of the website which in the full specification detailed that it come included with an optical cable, upon receiving the delivery I found this item not to be included with the packaging. I reported this, to be told it was a mistake on the website and in fact the manufacturer doesn t supply the ancillary item with the product. I received an apology which was great and advised by customer services to go and purchase this item from a local store and they would reimburse the costs upon proof of purchase, sent over the proof of purchase and received quick responses explaining that the refund would be processed. I had to chase this again as it hasn t been processed and was appolagised to again and told it would be followed up again and I would be advised further. That was the last response, I have followed this up with a further 2-3 emails to which I am no longer getting a response at all. looking like they have reverted back on their intitial intentions over the matter.
A minor frustration which leaves abit of a bad taste from a thriving reputable business.
However like a lot, the intial sales and delivery process were very efficient and professional.

Update: 29/2/2019
Still no contact made to me personally despite publicised action and resolve to be followed up.

Washing machine started as soon as I plugged it in...

Washing machine started as soon as I plugged it in - no dial was turned or button pressed. Within 2 minutes an almighty bang and my consumer unit box had been tripped.
Faulty and dangerous machine followed by woeful customer "service". I had to get google trusted stores involved to get a refund.

Worst internet shopping experience ever.

Great service, Shaun and Gavin delivered new dishwasher on the date and the time they had said. Despite having had a long journey, they were cheerful, friendly and professional. This is my second product from marks electrical. They will phone and say they on on their way, so there is no hanging about. Great prices and great delivery service from Shaun K and Gavin D.

We found the company via a Google search and their prices were extremely competitive. Reviews looked good so we ordered a washer dryer. The communications were fast, very professional and we were impressed. The goods were delivered on time with no issues and we would certainly use them for any other electrical purchases. Highly recommended

My first experience of ordering from these guys has been a dream. From them having a queueing system on their phone lines (brilliant idea) to Steve's helpfulness when I had to delay the order but wanted to buy it now (solution, put a deposit down) to the friendliness of the delivery guys. Not forgetting there are some discount codes on the site right now to be used on the already good prices there. Great place. Will definitely use again instead of *mazon (my asterisk!).

Ordered a new fridge for it to be delivered with the door not opening fully and one of the glass shelves had wedged itself into the door on the inside which wouldn t budge. Rang the company to be told there s nothing they can do for at least 2 days and they took our old fridge so left us in a mess!! Was told even if we wait 2 days we wouldn t get the original fridge we ordered either as they now only had white!! Curry s and AO can deliver next day so why can t they?? I will tell you why, not bothered!!

Would of been a 5 if the delivery driver had not made me go down to ground floor when there was no need to.
Live in flats with working lift, driver pressed my buzzer and I opened the door to allow them in, I could see him holding the door open on the camera but he still said I have got your dryer for you are you coming down.
I had to go down just to show them the way up in a lift that was clearly signed.
The rest of the service was good, placed order online so not much human intervention.

Be careful choosing Marks electrical , we purchased a Samsung RR39M Fridge with missing parts in April 2020. Due to an error on my part I failed to notice a missing part on delivery , due to this being outside the 48hr window for Marks electrical I was referred to Samsung UK , they have failed to send out the parts out now too. On Calling Marks electrical several times and asking for Branch Manager /MD. I was told the MD doesn't take calls from customers ??
why not , Its customer feedback, like it or not ,if you do not listen to customers how will you improve? That's quite shocking.

Marks Electrical Customer Services promise things that don't happen and Samsung has not delivered either. Marks Electrical may save you money but be careful when choosing them?

I will definetely not recommend them to friends and family or repurchase from them in the future ,which is the price they will pay for the poor customer service delivered.

Excellent service from ordering to delivery. I was informed by text, phone and email every step of the way. Goods arrived earlier than expected on the day of delivery but was informed beforehand which was a bonus. Very satisfied with my fridge freezer and would recommend.

Excellent prices plus further discounts available on some products. Prompt delivery with various delivery options plus helpful customer service - who could ask for more?
Just make sure you can turn off the water supply to washing machines, dishwashers etc. before they arrive, as they will be unlikely to want to risk tackling sticky/corroded stop valves! However they immediately refunded my installation charge due to this.

After surfing the net looking for a new dishwasher...

After surfing the net looking for a new dishwasher, we found Marks Electricals.
We found their prices were the best by far and decided to place our order.

We had a query which after speaking with Marks Electricals, was answered in a very friendly and knowledgeable manner. A good start.

We then went ahead with our order, a confirmation email duly arrived along with full details of expected delivery, returns, cancellation etc.

Later in the day we received a text message informing us of our delivery day, date and time slot with a promise of a call from the driver around an hour before arrival.

Unfortunately and as we all know, the snow arrived with a vengeance which delayed our delivery, however, we were informed by Mark Electricals along with an apology for inconvenience (no fault of theirs).

A new delivery date email arrived along with a later text again with full details of delivery day,date and time slot, this time, (no snow) the delivery driver did ring us to tell us the exact time he would be with us, he actually arrived 25 mins ahead of time! another great example of friendly and superb customer service by the driver.

The dishwasher arrived in excellent condition, it s now up and running.
Would we recommend Marks Electricals? 100% yes.

Check them out, you won t be disappointed.

Wow! Amazing service from Marks Electrical. 10% off, a price better than John Lewis anyway, interest free credit order placed Tuesday evening, delivery Thursday (this) morning before 9am by 2 lovely chaps who were exceptionally skilled, friendly and careful. Delivered large fridge freezer down & up step, through back garden and negotiated an only just big enough gap into the kitchen. Unpacked, removed and took away packaging and old American style fridge freezer. Fantastic service will definitely use again! Thank you.

Not happy!

Not happy!
Ordered an LG fridge freezer a month ago.
Completed checkout process and paid for the product.
4days later was informed the item was out of stock and they would contact me when it was back in stock.
Now 4 weeks later and I just receive a weekly email confirming that the item is still out of stock.
No response to my emailed replies.
When will I receive the product I have already paid for?!

Easy, quick and accessable website. Placed order on Thursday, to be delivered on Saturday. Got email Friday Eve saying arrival time will be between 9-11. Got a call at 9.30 on Saturday and delivery arrived at 9.45. polite delivery driver.
All round great service and good quality TV .
Would Defo recommend.

Very good choice on display but no prices on anything as you have to download their app and then scan each item . So very hard to compare prices as you wander round

Excellent service. Good price for item. Received a text and an email with a 2 hour delivery window that also advised me of the names of the delivery men. Item was delivered on a Saturday for no charge. Curtis Morris and Glenn Chambers delivered the freezer to us and they were very professional and courteous and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Marks electrical and will definitely do business with them again in the future.

Delivered by a fantastic driver with a wonderful multi coloured beard. We bought an LG TV from Marks electrical on the 2nd January. Scheduled a delivery which they failed to advise us wouldn't be happening due to the item being out of stock. Rescheduled delivery : wrong TV in the box. After several calls chasing them during the following week to which I kept being told that they would contact us with an update, they didn't... (the girl said she had been to busy to call back...) Correct TV turned up.
So, correct TV is now here but wrong controller. Which I requested be replaced on the same day of delivery of said TV (2 weeks ago tomorrow) I have heard absolutely nothing from them in regards to this since being told it would be rearranged as soon as possible and had the expected "we will call you back" that seems to accompany these calls without any intention! This is now two months on from the original purchase date. This kind of service is nothing short of disgraceful. I would not advise using Marks Electrical and nor will I be using them again unless they were to offer substantial compensation for this cocophony of errors and poor customer service.. (Which I doubt they will recognise as their fault.) It's a real shame as I always prefer to go to a smaller retailer as you normally get a better service and care... it just seems like they do not care in this instance. Absolute Let down.

From the start,the ordering over the phone was very easy with a very friendly person
talking me through the very quick ordering process with great efficiency.Then the email
the evening prior to delivery next day which said I would take delivery the next morning between 7.00am and 9.00am.Duly the next morning I received a phone call from the delivery driver at 6.40am saying he would be with me in half an hour.He did arrive right on time at 7,10am.He was most courteous and helpful,and in no time at all he had the washing machine through the back door and into the kitchen.All this was achieved with no fuss and no damage whatsoever.All in all a first class service from start to finish and
a lesson in how to really run a top class business. 10/10 and well done

As good as their word, bang up 8am, arrived at house. Put drier into position in garage for us and recycled old appliance and packaging. What friendly lads, can't recommend these people enough. Will definitely be using again.

Poor Customer Service, was waiting over 25 days for a delivery of a washing machine. Kept telling me out of stock and did not offer any alternative solutions at the same price. Their manager did not have the decency to call me back either. In the end I cancelled my order. Extremely disappointed with Marks Electrical. Lesson learned, Always order in future from a reputable company like John Lewis or Currys than can fulfil their orders.

Excellent service, times were spot on and nobody else could beat the price,
