First time we have bought from Marks Electrical and can't fault them. A great deal on our new cooker; really helpful sales manner on the phone; prompt efficient delivery and always kept updated on the delivery time. Thanks to everyone who handled our purchase we will be sure to do business with you again.

It is when you need service that you truly discover the level of customer care. In my case, I placed an order 3 weeks ago (16/04/18) and was advised that the product (Range Cooker) is not in stock, and that it will arrive in up to 3 weeks. I called on Tuesday this week and asked for an update and explained that, I need to return our faulty range cooker which we ve had now for 3 weeks to the other manufacturer and use the cash for this new purchase so to avoid charges on the credit card. I was reassured that the Range Cooker will most like arrive on Thursday, or Friday at the latest, and I will receive a notification confirming that. After not receiving any notifications or calls, I called Marks Electrical this morning to check on the order and was advised that they have the product on shipment and it will arrive next week. I asked if they could look into It, and double check, and explained what I have been told previously. The lady apologised and said there is nothing that can be done about it. Agreeing to wait 3 weeks for the order was already a reluctant decision, and now realising that its going to take longer when we have no oven (Family with 2 children) and receiving conflicting information is extremely disappointing to say the least. I would advise you to place order with extreme caution and confirming a delivery date instantly at the time of the order, otherwise I wouldn t risk it. I will indeed pursue this complaint.

After researching for a new blue ray DVD player/recorder decided to use Marks Electrical as they were competitive on price BUT could do next day delivery!! Thought this was a good deal so used them for first time.

Purchased Samsung BD-H8900M. Delivery process was exactly as described and the very polite delivery team called next day to let me know their estimated time of arrival. Duly arrived all correctly packaged and now set up and working fine.

Definitely would recommend Marks Electrical for future purchases. Thanks.

The most horrific company i have ever dealt with online. People are rude on emails rude on the phone. Really condescending. They make mistakes and its the customers fault. Been waiting 8 weeks for a fridge and had to chase them to get me a date then they never turned up saying they couldn't contact me but i gave them my number the week before but thats my fault. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Your passed round the houses so you never get to speak to the same person you ever did so they can avoid talking about the previous problems. Disgusting service and they dont care. I have now canceled as whats the point and am waiting for my money back. Who knows how long that will take. AVOID!!! you have been warned.

Disgusting customer service, bought a dryer but then had to pick another one, received it and broke after just 3 uses, I've had no apology just a choice to pick yet another or a refund I went with the sensible option of a refund, just asked me for a date and didn't tell.me how my refund would be handles or any apology for wasting my time or the inconvenience of not having a dryer for 2 weeks, don't shop here

693374 Googled an appliance I was looking for and Marks Electrical came up- I didn t bother searching any further as knew they would be excellent value as I d used them before. The delivery guys, Shaun and Emil were great too and put the fridge straight in the kitchen- they we re really polite. I gave them a tip and if you re reading this you should do the same if you meet them! Excellent service!

Nobody contacted me!!!
I contacted customer service 3 day ago. Still no response other than being told that Amy is dealing with it and is on holiday until Monday and nobody else can deal with it.The problems with these two appliances were reported well within 12 months of purchase,therefore I believe that in law my recourse is to the retailer not the manufacturer.I am still without a usable dishwasher.

Having brought many appliances from Marks over the last 20 years, I bought a Bloomberg dishwasher and fridge from them in the last 12 months.
NEVER AGAIN.
I have had numerous problems with them both. These are both under extended warranty and when service engineers eventually visited and found faults(including a basic design fault with the dishwasher, not being able to dispense the detergent tablet ); I was told by very rude and arrogant 'Customer Service'staff at Marks that it 'was nothing to do with them' and was given the manufacturers telephone number.
When I call them, they insisted that they sent out the service engineer again 'because the report had been lost'. When the service engineer came out again, I got him to write 'design fault' on the report. I then after a few days contacted Bloombergs, they still denied responsibility. I therefore contacted Marks who said it was nothing to do with them and I needed to take it up with Blombergs again.
The same happened when I once again called out the service engineer regarding the fridge. He acknowledged that there were two faulty parts that needed replacing and told me that they would contact me when they had the parts, to arrange to fit them. A number of weeks passed before I rang the service company; to be told that Blombergs were refusing to replace the parts, and I should therefore contact Blombergs.
By this time I was loosing the will to live.
This weekend the whole dishwasher tipped forward depositing much of its contents on the stone kitchen floor.
I won't be reporting this to Mark's as I want nothing further to do with them.

THEY SOLD ME THESE APPLIANCES THEREFORE THEY SHOULD ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY BUT THEY DON'T.

Any further problems and they will both be taken to the tip and I will find a reputable company to deal with that values it's long standing customers.

am extremely unhappy with the service I have received from this company with regards to my faulty oven. Everything is fine until you have a problem and then they lose interest and pass the buck to the manufacturer. This is wrong, and the consumer rights act clearly states the retailer is responsible, and I fully expect them to honour their legal obligations. They have failed to provide promised call-backs and completely ignored my emails.

We still haven't got a resolution to our oven issue nearly two months after we reported it to Marks Electrical (11/12) , Mark's have continued to absolve themselves of any responsibility in resolving the problem despite being the retailer and under consumer law fully liable, despite what they will try and tell you. I have also noticed that the most recent reviews of this company have been quite unfavourable so I would urge anyone to think twice before using this company.

The fridge -freezer in my holiday home failed on Saturday......We ordered a replacement in the afternoon. We were given an ETA of between 10am and 12pm on the following day...SUNDAY....and it arrived in Ripon from Leicester at bang on ten o'clock!!

Recently ordered a Rangemaster cooker. Best price around with a 10% reduction on the price. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Polite and helpful delivery drivers Mark and Ian . Would recommend this company highly.

For items not currently in stock the website says "Order Now for Delivery in 8-14 Working Days". The website does not make it clear that this is an estimate and you may not receive your order during that time (you can find it in the t's and c's). They were good at informing me about this as I was updated 10 days later to say there was a delay, and another 10 days later to say when they would receive it (24 days after order), but would not have ordered with them had I known this. I have ordered with them before and think they offer great service and value, but would advise against ordering items that are not in stock. Hopefully in future they update their website to make it clear these are estimates, as this can strongly influence who you order with when there is an urgent need (as was the case with me).

I couldn t believe that they offered next day delivery this close to Christmas, I received an email the night before giving me the time slot, the driver phoned me to say he was 30mins away and even arrived early! Fantastic service and will use again!

One of the best on-line companies I have ever used (I have shopped on-line since it first appeared on the Net). Next day delivery with 2 hour time slot and phone call from driver. Purchased a gas hob on the 19th December 2014 and payment was taken twice from our account on the 19th and 22nd December 2014.

We have contacted the company on numerous occasions to get this resolved and the staff have been very abrupt and unhelpful telling us that only one payment has been received on the 19th December 2014.

The matter is still unresolved and is now going through the Fraud investigation team at Barclays...makes me wonder if Marks Electrical have done this before as they did not seem bothered about it when I told them it was with the Fraud team!!!

The best price I could find for the product and free delivery to West London. I was given a timeslot the previous evening (between 2-4pm) and got a call from the driver 30 minutes before he arrived at 14:25. The delivery was made in a Marks Electrical branded van, and the driver was helpful and courteous.

Disgraceful delivery service. Do not order from this company. Two delivery men turned up to deliver my tumbledryer They refused to lift it up 5 steps into my house so left it on my drive. I even have grass leading to the back gate with.....No steps. Unbelievable....I repeat do not order from this company as they cannot do what every other company does as routine.

Not a reliable company - having written off 2 days for an anticipated delivery I am now keeping my fingers crossed that it will arrive on their third attempt!
First delivery day - I was not notified as promised the night before on a time slot and so was not at the house when they turned up at 7 a.m. in the morning.
Second delivery day - I had a phone call at 6.30 a.m. to say they would be with me by 7 a.m. and they turned up at the invoice address instead of the delivery address and refused to bring it to the correct address saying it would have to be re-arranged!
