Exceptional service from a local company which I never expected. Always use Currys, but not anymore. Ordered a washing machine Friday @ 5.20pm, got it delivered Sunday morning at 9am as promised. The price was as competitive as all the other well known companies on the internet. The delivery was free, the delivery time stated was spot on, the delivery guys were sound, very helpful, they unpacked the machine beforehand, took the old machine away as agreed.Cristian, the sales guy was very helpful & knowledgeable on the phone as well.

Call from driver half hour before delivery and my washing machine is just great ! Just what I wanted :) thank You again . Definitely will buy again .

Delivery was speedy and free.They delivered my washing machine on Sunday morning.I have been texted the day before about my time slot and the driver called me half an hour before delivery.They offer installation service at a fee which makes everything hassle free.

We ordered two items from Marks Electrical - one of the items was out of stock, but although it was Christmas we were emailed regularly keeping us informed that as soon as they had more information regarding a delivery date they would be in touch. This they did and we received both items yesterday. The delivery lad was great and very friendly. The price we paid for our goods was brilliant and with free delivery. We will certainly tell our friends about Marks Electrical.

Delivery was the exact time I asked it not to be which was frustrating but it was at least next day dwlivery. However, when we had a leak after installation, they sent someone around next day to look at it. ThetThe engineerwengineer identified the problem (which was with the internal pipework) and there was no charge for them coming out. Overall a good service.

The sales rep was untruthful over the phone upon my purchase of a new European style fridge. I told him that we had 2 1/2 flights of stairs to navigate and he did not express any concern that their delivery men could complete the task. Upon arrival, the delivery men refused to carry the item citing that they would hurt their backs, as one of them just got back from leave after a bad strain. Upon calling the home office, they basically had no solution to get it up the stairs other than returning the item. They left it in our front hall on the ground floor and we had to then pay 125 pounds to hire two men to carry it up the stairs the next day. I regret not paying a bit more and going with John Lewis as they do not leave their customers in the lurch.

The online systems work well and efficiently. The problems start when you have to deal with the human element. Interaction with customers is not this company's strong point. When I asked them for some assistance with delivery information and timings they made it very clear they weren't going to help and in fact I had really gone too far in asking for any additional flexibility in delivery times.

The delivery drivers are surly, bad tempered and make you feel unwelcome in your own home. They also specialise in scratching wooden floors.

I've got my product, fine, but I wouldn't choose to use their services again.

One of the most brilliant customer service you can get from any retail store. We had our washing machine and tumble dryer bought from here and the delivery man was friendly and helpful and he explained all the functions of the products comprehensively. Competitive prices! However, including the discounts you get with a large order takes out a lump sum of the total amount which makes the products from here available at a bargain price. Would definitely recommend!

Recently purchased an intergrated washing machine, it arrived within a couple of days . Time slot allocated and also a phone call from the very pleasant delivery driver . The machine was wrapped very well with protection on all four sides. I must say that this is truely the best company I've ever ordered from . Marks Electrical sold me a Beko fridge that broke....

Marks Electrical sold me a Beko fridge that broke. Three attempted repairs later I got them to send me a replacement. That also failed. A repair attempt on the replacement also failed. Despite not fulfilling their duties under the Consumer Rights Act, ME are trying to fob me off on the manufacturer, who are claiming that the warranty is no longer in effect because they've managed to spend enough time making bad repairs. This isn't true: if you buy an item, the obligations under the Consumer Rights Act are with the retailer, not the manufacturer. ME don't seem to understand their role in law here.

EDIT: I think the reply here demonstrates the company's lack of engagement with basic consumer law very well: "this is the policy and Terms and Conditions at Beko and we cannot override this unfortunately". Beko's views are completely irrelevant here; the contract is entirely between the buyer and the seller.

What can we say! Nearing the end of our extension ...

What can we say! Nearing the end of our extension and our American fridge freezer decides to give up on us! We were so hoping it would see the next few months out until we had our new kitchen fitted and brought a new one but it wasn t to be! By Saturday 11th the fridge section was no longer cooling, so went online to look at new ones done the usual price comparisons, product comparisons and came across this beauty from Marks Electrical. However there were no reviews on the model. Knowing other friends having problems with a popular make American fridge freezer we decided to avoid that make and went for this stunning AEG! Not only did we order it Saturday evening with the shop being closed not only because of Easter Sunday but also Covid-19 we confirmed a delivery date for Monday 13th April. We thought this is too good to be true, with other companies not being able to deliver for a week plus adding extra for delivery. Sunday evening we received a text to say that delivery would be between 7-9am. Monday morning we had a call at 6.15 to say they were half hour away! Okay yes it was early but we didn t care, we shot out of bed emptied our fridge freezer into insulated picnic bags disconnected the existing F/F starting to move it out to the front! The delivery men turned up explaining they were unable to come in due to civic-19 but could also see we would not get the new fridge freezer in the house through the front door, so moved it round the back for us, and couldn t have been anymore helpful! Telling us we can t plug it in for 6 hours. The fridge freezer itself is great, very spacious, much more room than our previous F/F, loving the top drawer and the choice of what it can be used for, freezer, meat and fish, cold drinks, or cellar! Water dispenser is great, flows at a decent speed and where the water comes out the space is big enough to take a very big sports bottle or tall pint glass, much better than the last one. So so pleased with this product! 5 stars all round from us! AEG RMB96716CX please note this will be our kitchen hopefully very soon!

Delivery details shared as stated on the website, my delivery guy (think it was Colin) was extremely efficient and pleasant even calling to check that he hadn't missed a connection in error - as if i'd let him out of my home without this is, if I'd paid for it!! Highly recommend this company

Well, I am absolutely gobsmacked. Bearing in mind we are all in the middle of a pandemic and locked down, less than 24 hours from when I ordered my new washing machine, it was fitted and working beautifully. I cannot praise this company enough.

My old washer broke yesterday full of water and dirty washing. I searched all the usual popular firms, and delivery was delayed understandably, fitting and removing the old appliance was not available also understandably. Then I had a quick look at Marks Electrical. Never heard of it. So a bit dubious but they could deliver the next day, which was Sunday, and they would remove the old appliance and unpack and fit the new one. I thought it was too good to be true. So I checked their reviews which were broadly very good. They offered a 2 hour delivery slot which would be notified at 7.30pm and then when they were 30 mins away they would ring and let you know. So I ordered on line but the fitting option wasn t available so I called the number given. I spoke to a lovely chap called Sam. He explained that he could add the delivery option if I wished but added that the delivery chaps were quite nervous of going into houses because of the virus, and said it was really easy to fit. So I went for it without fitting.

At exactly 7.30 pm I received a text message giving me my 2 hour delivery slot the following day. Then I received a call the following day 30 mins before they arrived. Two lovely chaps, Blake and Dan Goodman. First class service. Cannot fault them. They removed my old machine and brought my new one into the house for me. Fantastic!

I would highly recommend this firm and would use them again in a heartbeat. I have already recommended them to my step daughter and will pass their name on again. Well done Marks Electrical.

Paid extra for two man delivery and clearly instructed at the time of delivery it is four flight of stair. The delivery guys refused to take the product upstairs, refused to take away the old uninstalled equipment and refused to take the packaging away. They would not even wait 5 minutes so as to call customer service. Massively let down.
phoned customer service, very poor attitude, did not have any regard for the issue. Tone was arrogant and made me feel that customer is not important. No apologies, they indicated 40 steps up the stairs is too much even though they knew from the word go, it was 4 flight of stairs = atleast 40 steps. Won't use them again, mainly for their attitude.

One of the best delivery service without a doubt.
The price of the fridge freezer bought was competitive, the product itself is well made, no flimsy shelves etc, looks good (Haven't tried it yet but confident).
Free evening delivery service with 2 hour time slot and a 30 min call before arrival. You cannot beat that !
I even received a call while placing an order on their website, it was just to check if I needed any assistance. Nice!

The delivery drivers were also very professional had I had great communication from them, they informed me the night before delivery of a 2 hour time slot and their names, Steve Waret and Lee Freer, I also recieved a call on the day confirmig this and then another call when they were close by.

The salesperson that looked after me was more than helpful without being pushy. I was kept up to date with delivery information and my item arrived on time as promised. Not quite the cheapest on line but next day delivery included in the price. The cheaper quite stated delivery in three to ten days.
Delivery at 9am the next day by very helpful Kevin and Macauley. Our previous freezer was failing, we managed to transfer everything to the new freezer in time.

Excellent company to deal with. Best prices and offering different models than available on competitors' sites, with a further discount in a flash sale. Really speedy, free delivery and friendly delivery man.The goods arrived well wrapped and undamaged slightly earlier than the two-hour timeslot e-mailed to me the night before, although the driver did telephone to check it was convenient before arrival. I could hardly ask for more. I will definitely use this company again.

Customer service is dreadful. I was promised a message by 8pm tonight so that I can get to my elderly Mother s home when her cooker is delivered tomorrow. No message by 8.20pm. So do I go for 8am or 2pm or anytime in between?
Previous experience was even worse. Promised a text message last year to tell me when my dishwasher was in stock. Never got one. When I rang 3 weeks later asking where it was - rude person told me it was my fault for refusing to give them my email address. I asked why they hadn t tried to text more than once since texts don t always get through the person said the system was automatic and so it wasn t possible. Very poor! So they had happily sat on my money in full for a month and made a feeble attempt to contact me.
I won t deal with this company ever again.

Nice easy purchase, lots of communication to update on the free delivery & 2 hour timeslot given on my chosen day. Also a call 30 minutes before the delivery arrived. Item was perfect & i will be using these guys again.

I placed my order on Saturday & it arrived Wednesday. Text received the night before with a 2hr expected delivery time. On Wednesday Ash the delivery driver phoned to say he was running early so actually delivered more than 1 hr earlier than expected which was perfect for me. Couldn't fault anything from placing the order to taking delivery. Would definitely recommend Marks Electrical & would definitely use again. Oh & on top of all this, they were cheaper than anyone else!!!!

Very expensive dishwasher bought
Waited a week for delivery
Paid for disposal of old appliance and this was not done on the day as delivery men said they couldn t put it anywhere?!
Was assured it would be picked up following morning
No one turned up
I emailed to find out when this would be picked up and was told they were not picking it up and would refund?!?!?!
They were not even aware that the service paid for was not carried out until I informed them!!
That was all they could offer

Very dissapointed with the customer service depart...

Very dissapointed with the customer service department. I had no problem ordering the items but when things arrived damaged/faulty I had no end of problems trying to arrange a replacement, arranging a a partial refund due to the item being damaged by the delivery drivers.

The customer services department failed to call me back on several occasions and it was only after a nearly two weeks did matters get finally resolved.

I was always told someone would call me back but they never did . I had to phone so many times and recieved a frosty and abrut response. I would personally avoid ME. They maybe cheap, but John Lewis will price match and should anything go wrong they will look after you.

I have dealt with many companies during my current project and I have never experienced such awful aftercare service.

Excellent in every way. Good price on the internet (which is why I chose Marks); delivery the next day (even though it was a Saturday) included in the price; arrived on the dot of the anticipated time slot and Tim Welford called me twenty minutes beforehand. Clearly Marks takes a pride in its work. This is reflected in their smart vans - finished in a subtle grey green with modern signwriting.

All-in-all very impressive service.

Fantastic service and assistance in buying our new TV. Chris was brilliant, very knowledgable and helping advise on wall brackets and compatibility.

Was determined not to buy from Currys due to poor customer experience in the past so was so happy to find these guys so helpful and really go that extra mile to help and get back to you as soon as possible.

Ordering through to delivery was seamless and very professional.

Would highly recommend anyone wanting to purchase anything electrical from these guys!

Ordered a Fisher Paykal Fridge Freezer with next day delivery. The day of delivery received news - no fridge as the billing and delivery address were different (my partners flat was the billing address. The delivery address was our new home). It took all day to be resolved to prove ownership and we were happy with their stringent checks at the time. The resolve was get the fridge delivered to the billing address (my partners flat). They couldn't deliver it the next day we had to wait another week. The day of delivery the drivers rang to say they were 15 minutes away. My partner went to the billing address the drivers weren't there. He got home and asked me if the drivers had been I said no. He rang the drivers - they said they rang customer services to find out which address they were supposed to deliver to. Customer services then told them to not deliver at all. To return the item back to warehouse which is what they did. They advised us to speak to customer services and if they approved delivery they would return. We contacted customer services confident that the complications would be resolved. We were wrong. They were extremely unhelpful, unsympathetic. No notes regarding our order existed and there was nothing they could do to help. We therefore had no other choice but to cancel the order and ask for a refund and to add further insult told us we had to wait for the refund. Such a shame that 1 person could have helped and yet chose not to to our detriment. Thanks so much!

Not recommended. Did not deliver my television on the promised date; when I eventually got a refund, (when another suitable delivery date could not be provided) the refund was less than the value paid, and no response to multiple emails.

When i opend it, it had a gash on the inside, after sending picture to them, was told that can only happen with a knife and as i plugged it i am only entitled to a small refund, i accept it, anyway when i rang Consumer Advice, they said otherwise but because i accepted a partial refund my case was weak

Avoid this scam company. They sold me a washing machine for nearly 700 pounds which turned out to be faulty. The manufacturer has confirmed that it is faulty and that it should be returned but Mark's electrical have been messing me about for two weeks saying the will collect it but they haven't. The machine damages my clothes when it dries by overheating them which lg have confirmed is a fault. The lady on the phone today told me that because I used it it now mine. Sorry for not being psychic marks electrical but you cant tell if a applianceis faulty without using it. Your terms and conditions relate to a damaged item which should not be installed and cant be returned if installed. This machine has a internal fault which you can only diagnose once the machine had been fitted and used. Did you expect me to tell you that the machine is faulty and damages clothes before actually washing and drying clothes in it. I find this nothing but a pathetic excuse to avoid doing what's right. By the way I am disabled and use a wheelchair so I really needed a washing machine because I cant go and use the public machines and these guys have left me stuck with this garbage. I should have used curry's PC World.
