Bought a chest freezer. Very good price and delivery turned up on time. I paid for two man delivery and the unit was a nightmare to fit into my basement, and the guys went above and beyond their duty to get it through the doors and in place. To be honest I think most delivery companies would have refused to try. Would definitely use again.

Ease of ordering

Excellent price as compared competitors, excellent free next day delivery, excellent communication from the delivery team with an accurate two hour slot and a call from the driver 30mins before delivery.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! We ordered a tumble dryer from Marks in September, and there was nothing wrong with the process delivery etc., hence why they have mostly good reviews. Unfortunately the tumble dryer they supplied was faulty - it was condensating all around the door and over the control panel. As soon as we noticed this issue (which was within a few days of delivery) we asked them to refund or replace it - they point blank refused and claimed it is their right to send an engineer to check it first. This was a breach of consumer law as we were within the initial 28 day period. We reluctantly let them send an engineer over (Monday to Friday only so a day off work required), who replaced the inner tube and said that should fix it. Unfortunately we still had the same issue, spoke to Marks again who claimed because we had signed it off as fixed (this never happened because I wasn't able to test it with the engineer still there) that they still wouldn't refund or replace it. So again we had to get another engineer round who confirmed the machine itself is faulty and reminded us that the company was in breach of the law by refusing to refund the product. In the end we have claimed the money back from our credit card company. The people that work in their customer sales team are ignorant, untrained and rude. If you are unfortunate enough to have an issue with any of their products then best of luck to you!

Phoned and advised arrival time and again ten miutes before their arrival and they were early. Polite helpful guys in the van .

Prompt delivery. They did everything they said they would with text alerts to confirm delivery time. Very pleasant delivery team, could not be nicer. Would definitely recommend the company plus they do a very good warranty with far longer parts cover than most other suppliers.

I have ordered 2 things from Marks Electrical, a freezer & washing machine, & have been really pleased with their service each time. They have very competitive prices, offer better deals on warranties & cash back offers than other retailers, & their telephone advice in response to queries is excellent. The delivery process was excellent as well. The 2 hour time slot for delivery is texted the evening before, & on both occasions, the items were delivered on time by extremely helpful chaps. Ordered on Friday afternoon and just made the ticking-clock timeslot showing on the webpage for next day delivery. Then got a text as promised at 7 pm. with the 2 hr. delivery time-slot for Saturday and a named driver. Next day he called when 20 mins. away and delivered and was on his way in within 10 mins. New washing machine installed inside 24 hours. Highly recommended, no-nonsense and communicative company. Very customer-focussed. Definitely will use again and highly recommend.

I don't very often write reviews but I found Marks electrical on the web whilst looking for a new Bosch Dishwasher.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. They were SO MUCH CHEAPER than even my local John Lewis store!!!

The item was out of stock when I ordered but they told me when the item was due back in so I placed the order. Even better, They delivered 3 days earlier than I expected and the delivery team were great too. Free delivery and brilliant communication as well!

Initial ordering process was easy and I collected from the Leicester Depot. However, the customer service since (having requested a replacement/refund of an item that does not work) has been painstakingly slow and resulted in Marks Electrical refusing to assist in any way.

I bought a Miele vacuum cleaner but when I tried using it 3-4 weeks after purchase (only my cleaner had used it up to this point) I found it did not work at all on carpets. It merely pushed the dirt around forming clumps of debris. Having bought the item on 30/10/17 I contacted Miele direct on 23/11/17 who advised me to contact Marks Electrical. I have constantly chased Marks Electrical since then and was constantly fobbed off with excuses why they could not answer my questions/deal with the issue e.g. supervisor not at work for a few days, someone else dealing with it, waiting for a response from Miele... I was then told they would pick up the item but when I sought clarity re whether I would get a replacement or a refund they went quiet!!! Finally, after chasing again today 5/1/18 (6 weeks after initial contact) I was advised that as the vacuum had been used they could not refund or replace. How you can tell if a vacuum (or any appliance works) before you use it I'm not quite sure!! I am guessing that if you buy something from Marks that works and has no issues the customer experience will be fine but I have absolutely no confidence they will assist any customer who has a problem. I have only given 1 star because I have no option to give them none!! Extremely poor!!!

I ordered an electric hob and Marks Electrical offered the best price. Delivery was free 2 days later and I got a two hour delivery slot texted to me the day before. It arrived promptly and is as advertised and works perfectly. I would have no hesitation in using this company again.

I ordered a Rangemaster Cooker and Cooker hood. Both items weren't in stock, but Marks Electrical kept me informed all the way through. 2-man delivery was spot on time. Very good service overall.

Fast service. Friendly and helpful delivery men. We paid for the removal of our old fridge freezer and they were happy to remove it from inside the house even though an email had said we had to leave it outside the house (which would have been very difficult!)

Very happy with the service provided by Marks Electrical. After my Hoover dishwasher had problems, I had to look for a replacement. The usual large suppliers were out of stock or surprisingly expensive, but Marks Electrical came up as an option. They offered a cheaper price for the dishwasher, and a reasonable price for removing, recycling and installing the dishwasher which still worked out cheaper than the unit alone from other retailers which offered installation and removal at a premium. What was also a bonus was delivery was a time and date that was convenient, and only took a few days to deliver (after ordering on a Thursday, it came Monday).

The first 2 cookers we had delivered appeared to have manufacturing problems, however both exchanges were dealt with professionally and efficiently, especially from Georgia and Charlotte in the customer services team, we are hoping 3rd time lucky.

Wary of a company I had not dealt with before but "internet retailer of 2014" & the reviews mainly looked all good, the website was easy to navigate ordered paid & soon got e mails confirming the order, one advising preparations for delivery then a two hour time slot for delivery (never been offered this before despite dealing with most of the competition over the years).....
True as there promise the phone rang advising on way expect in 1/2 hour & there they were in a smart van very polite & professional, in fact it all ran like a very well oiled machine, the price the service all really first class & I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone.

Delivery and customer support were amazing!

I had some delivery restrictions on my end, but (unlike some stores) Marks Electrical had a can-do attitude. Clear information sent out beforehand. Ian and Michael did a fantastic job with the delivery on the day. Can recommend paying extra for two-person delivery. I just had to point where I wanted it. They were super polite and friendly throughout, and careful not to damage the item or our home.

There was a slight manufacturing problem with the item that we noticed after delivery. Charlotte at Marks Electrical was exceptionally helpful and friendly, talking to the manufacturer and keeping me updated on the progress.

Ordered an AEG washing machine - Marks Electrical had by far the best price online. At initial order I was told it would be approximately 2 weeks for them to get in stock from the manufacturer before delivery could be made - I was surprised to recieve an email the day after I ordered that it was in stock & ready to dispatch. I requested delivery the very next day, & it turned up on time. That's faster delivery than you'd even get form John Lewis. Very impressed.

Marks Electrical were the cheapest pricing for my AEG hob HK854080FB. They also had an extra refuction at the time of buying. This made the hob an even better buy. Most companies i buy thro the Internet fail by lack of comminication to me re the status of order but Marks Electrical were brilliant
They gave me the day i should receive then the time slot of 2 hours the day before then the driver rang me on the day of delivery to give me the the time within the 2 hours he would arrive and he did!!

The two men that delivered, Craig and Nick took extreme care as they carefully dismantled practically the whole unit to get it into the kitchen.
It took some time and some sweat and tears.but the job was completed without a cuss or moan.

Extended warranty dreadful. Takes 7 days for them to come out and then they don't bring parts even though I described fault. Another 8 days to wait for repair.

Found them just from a web search, ordered from their clear website becuase it was the model we were looking for at a good price. Ordering was simple, they let us know a two hour window for delivery the day before and arrived within the agreed time slot. I had paid for unpacking and taking away an old range which they did with out any problems.

I needed a LG American Fridge Feezer and a Rangemaster range cooker for a new kitchen and Marks Electrical simply were unbeatable on price and service. I was very particular about the cooker and there was massive confusion about the specification, with Rangemaster themselves contradicting their own literature and getting it wrong!

Marks Electrical went above and beyond and Daisy even went to the warehouse and took a photo on her phone to confirm the spec I was looking for. Brilliant customer service. Daisy 1 - Rangemaster 0.
