Exceptional. Competitive price. Easy to use website and informative ordering process (videos were helpful with decision making. Two man delivery service was efficient, friendly with great communication. Impressed by post sales communication too, helping with links to warranty page, to register product. When we got there we have seen 2 guys seating In Miele department and all what we heard it was
a blond guy swearing over the phone(one of the staff).
We weren't asked anything ...just ignored.
Then we went through all shop and all we heard it was bye when we were opening the doors.
We won't be back there for sure.

delivered a cooker to me as they said they would, it turns up and its a gas one, what are the chances of that happening if it had been checked before it was loaded on the van, being a delivery driver i all ways check delivery that way the company does not look like foolish, in making such a silly mistake, so now waiting for the call back for wat ever day i will get the right cooker delivered, so no cooker to cook with at moment thanks marks electrical. wonder if this post will vanish as well,

Where to Start... Ordered washine machine on 14th August Promised delivery on Friday 16th August 2019 between 2-6pm which was great as I have a family of 5 and require a washing machine quickly.. THIS IS WHEN THE FUN STARTS.. 5.30 pm on Friday no phone call regarding the delivery So I phoned the delivery service, ( The number which Mark ELECTRICAL GAVE ME) she stated the Machine would be delivered by 6pm and its coming from Newport.. 5.55 pm I gave another ring (Due to the delivery service contact No. closed at 6pm ) This time a man answered and told me then it would be a hour late AND Traveling from the midlands?? and stated that if I'm not at home I would occur a charge for NON delivery He then put me on hold for 10 minutes to contact the driver but couldn't tell me where the delivery man was (I DO BELIEVE ALL DELIVERY VANS HAVE TRACKERS FITTED SO YOU CAN SEE THE LOCATION OF THE VAN). He then give me the delivery name and mobile number so I HAD TO CHASE THE DELIVERY> The mobile number he gave me was always going to answer phone where my suspicions arose that the delivery service gave me a NON contactable mobile number and false name as I tried contacting all night.. Saturday,, and Sunday ( even tried today but straight to answer phone). Then at half eight on friday night I recieved a text from the delivery service CDSWAREH 'Due to unforessen circumstances we are unable to deliver your item today' IF the delivery service told me that the couldn't deliver when I contact them at 6pm I could of handled it but I had to wait till 8.30pm to find out by text plus I had a family meal booked for half seven that evening so I was late.. Anyway after disccussion with the wife as we required a machine quickly we decided to buy local and therefore I cancelled my order with Mark electrical on 17th August by email with a response on the 19th confirming cancelling the order and a REFUNDED IN 2- 5 WORKING DAYS ITS BEEN OVER 7 DAYS now I have contact Marks electrical by phone regarding my refund and told me that they had to wait for the delivery service to return the machine before refund and the next call stated 2-5 working days ITS BEEN OVER SEVEN DAYS KNOW IM CONTACTING MY BANK TODAY TO DEAL WITH THIS MATTER. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY STAY WELL CLEAR......

Absolutely perfect dishwasher delivered really quickly even though it was a display unit and they had to get it from the store first. Arrived right when they said it would, delivery driver very professional and made sure not to scratch anything. Price could not be beaten either. When I need an appliance I quite simply don't go anywhere else.

No problem at any stage of the purchase to delivery. Everything that was confirmed would happen after purchase up to delivery was spot on. Very pleased that I found Marks Electrical online who were matching best price for the fridge freezer I wanted to buy and offered a far superior delivery service than any of my local suppliers would have been able to offer.

After placing an order for a standard hotpoint fridge freezer on the 21/08/2018, the estimated delivery date from the manufacturer was 04/09/2018. After these 2 weeks had passed, I then received another email on the 05/09/2018, stating the new delivery date was 14/09/2018, taking the total time to 4 weeks. On the 14/09/2018 I had heard nothing from Marks Electrical, so I decided to contact them and they could not guarantee when I will have the fridge freezer, even after 4 weeks. I was told over the phone on the 14/09/2018 that I will receive an update of my order by email that day. After still not hearing anything from them by the 21/09/2018, I called them to find out an update, but still Marks Electrical could not guarantee when it would be delivered, even after 5 weeks! I decided to cancel the order as the situation could have gone on for months! Disappointed to be lead on, especially when I ordered the same fridge freezer from another store, and was delivered from the manufacturer to store and then to my house within 6 days. Please be honest to customers and do not lead people on with dates that are not met. More than 5 weeks for a fridge freezer is unacceptable. Luckily enough I received a full refund.

I ve bought a dishwasher, a washing machine, a chest freezer & a tumble dryer from Marks Electrical & each time has been great.
Items are usually delivered next day & you are given a delivery window around 7pm the night before.
The delivery blokes have all been great & give you the heads up when they re on their way to you.
And on top of all this, their prices are usually the best online but if you can find it cheaper, they will price match it.
Finally, their customer service is outstanding too.
I ordered a tumble dryer, under pressure because the old one had broken, & later realised I had chosen the wrong model & they put this right for me at very short notice & I was really grateful for that.
Top Leicester based company that is my first choice for white goods.

I did my research and decided on Marks for a fridge/freezer for my new house. Wasn't registered at the new place but spoke to someone in the office . . . sorted, delivery in a few days. Excellent communication every step of the way. Gave me a 2 hour delivery slot, arrived on time. Delivered and manoeuvred in by Craig Chambers . . . affable, professional, swift & funky! Marks Electrical are excellent for price and customer service. I bought a Samsung Fridge/Freezer and their price was substantially better than everyone else. Their customer service was second to non, when I spoke to them about delivery when we had the recent snow, they had their delivery company call me within 15 minutes of my call to brief me on delivery.

Delivered on time - really nice delivery driver with no problems moving it to my kitchen.
Great Price - Free delivery - - although went down a bit in price after I had it delivered - but that's the way the market works!
Machine is good looking and stylish - fits my kitchen well.
Tried it out before installing under worktop.
Really quiet - you would not know its even working unless you went into the kitchen to check.
Extended 5 year warranty has to be the best price on the internet.
Just be careful - they are deep washing machines -so will stick out a bit under a standard worktop - you need about 10 Cm space behind machine for pipes etc.
Good stuff so far!

No communication in the first week,

Day 8 I receive a mail stating that one item was due for delivery into their warehouse by day 10.

I chased stating that there was still another outstanding item, what was the date and the order was incomplete. The response completely ignored the out of stock dishwasher and in fact stated

"We are just waiting for the item below to be delivered to our warehouse on 10/07/15.

As soon as we receive it we will notify you to arrange delivery."

Day 13 once more I chased asking where is my order, the first item they were waiting for was now in stock but still no update on the 2nd item.

Day 14 Response acknowledged the dishwasher was indeed out of stock but they were chasing up a date and would let me know as soon as possible.

Day 16 once more I chased asking what was the status of the order as it was now 16 calendar days since order and 13 working days, so approaching the end of the (long and) un-revised estimate.

Day 17 Response, the dish washer is unavailable for another month.

This now leave me in the situation where they wont release my order in parts due to the cost of delivery / finance agreement, (the agent on the phone quoted both reasons not sure if one or both are valid)

I can take a different dishwasher (not what i want), I can cancel after being poorly informed for 17 days (with one agent advising me that canceling would affect my credit rating) or I can wait another 30 days.

On speaking to Marks Electrical today they refuse to accept any responsibility in the matter and wont acknowledge their poor customer service in managing my expectations, merely stating the dates issued are estimates and are subject to change.

Retailers have suppliers, suppliers have issues, good retailers manage their customers expectations as soon as possible to allow them to make the best possible decisions.

Marks electrical as evidenced above didn't acknowledge one missing item for 2 weeks, didn't provide anything resembling an updated estimate till the date the first estimate expired and then when asked over the phone what was going on that

"they would look into it to see if anything else could be done and call me back"

I question this response; was it not very clear from the multi week, multi email chain, i was looking for information around my order. Why wasn't this "looked" into the other 3 times I asked for an update.

Complete apathy towards customers, stand behind their T&C's resolutely defending the position that estimates can change at any point (which they may or may not tell you when they do) and it's most definitely not their fault (or their problem)

Tyron Bates (Ty Bates) BIG thank you!! 10 out of 10 customer experience for Marks Electrical. We had not bought from them before. Marks was listed on the AEG site and we felt confident due to the score on trust pilot. When making the purchase we could see that were getting a competitive price as rival prices were also listed on the site. We made the purchase on the Thursday and our washing machine arrived on the Saturday within the time slot that was texted to me the day before.

Ty (the delivery driver/installer) called in good time as per my request when placing the order. I missed the call but he answered promptly when I got back to him (even though it was probably easier for him to let it go to voicemail).

The machine arrived and it was unboxed in front of me. The machine had a minor mark on it but it was superficial and so I decided to accept it. We started using the machine on the same day and are very pleased with our purchase.

Will definitely use Marks Electrical again and special thanks to Ty Bates for the smooth and rapid installation.

Never been to the shop. I ordered my appliances online and they were delivered on my chosen day. Very difficult access but the driver was great, so helpful and determined to get them into my small, side entrance terrace. We managed to get a large fridge freezer through an unbelievably small space. Some delivery guys would have just given up! Thanks Mark.

Ordered a cooker hood on Sunday as they have 48 hour delivery. Phoned Tuesday evening to find out where it was. The customer service rep kept putting himself on mute and me on hold and on and off speaker the whole way through the conversation, mid sentence. I was not contacted about the delay in delivery and he told me we requested a Wed dispatch from them even though there is no option on checkout to do this!! I was told there was no way they could help have it delivered in their 48hour delivery. Very poor service especially as we ordered from them for the delivery time period.

Delivered my appliance to the completely wrong address. When speaking to Sarah in customer services she said she would get to us within an hour with a solution. 7 hours passed and she still didn't call. Turns out its quicker to get a refund than your actual item delivered.

Needed a dishwasher urgently, did a bit of research and decided which model we wanted. We rang Marks Electrical and were told they had the model in stock.
We went to their store in Leicester, to be served by a pleasant assistant, who took our details and money, we then visited their warehouse and collected the machine..
The experience was good, simple and easy. My machine is now installed.
Ten out of Ten to Marks Electricals, the price was good too.

It has been 15 days and 5 calls to their customer service department. They still have not refunded my money. As close to daylight robbery as it comes.

I have dealt with Marks Electrical many times without issue. However the mark of a good retailer is how they act when something goes wrong and that service has been terrible.
I purchased a dishwasher eleven weeks ago and it stopped working. Marks Electricals wanted nothing to do with it and insisted I went through Hoover. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 makes this the responsibility of the retailer as the item is almost brand new and that is where the trouble began. These people just will not conform with the law, ignore what you say and choose their own course of action despite requests to the contrary. I have been without my dishwasher now for two weeks and nothing is being done. I will never use this company again and I would advise anyone else to avoid them too. I have reported them to Trading Standards and I will continue down the legal route until I am refunded.

I ordered a range cooker by telephone with a guy called Chris, I stated that the access was via a side gate, then through two double doors into our sunroom, then through to the kitchen.
They sent the cooker out with one man for delivery,(he was super helpful thus the two star rating) however he could not get it through the kitchen door on his own and had to either take it back or leave it in the sunroom, as I would then be cooker less for up to a week we had it put in the sunroom. I then had to hire two guys to move it into the kitchen for me. When I rang up and complained I was told that I should have mentioned a doorway into the kitchen and that I would not be given compensation because it was my fault. It would appear to this company, that it is not normal, in order to get from one room to another, that you go through a door way!!! They have since replied to my review and now say that I told them there were double doors with direct access into my kitchen, a complete untruth, as they previously said that I didn't tell them there was a door at all!!

Excellent service from website to contact with customer service & prompt courteous delivery by Tyrone Bates who offered & delivered my dishwasher right into the kitchen. It was great to have contact with real people at Marks Electrical.
And finally I got the most competitive price on my Indesit dishwasher & extended warranty.
Will definitely use these people again.

The worst experience I have ever had as a consumer, was with Marks Electrical.

I ordered a fridge, and paid for it on the same day. They promised me a delivery date, so I waited for the fridge, however, it did not come, when I called, their office was closed.

I called the next day, and they told me that they could no longer get me that fridge for up 3 months. I asked for a refund, and purchased the same fridge from Curry's, who delivered the next week.

4 weeks have passed, and I have still not received my refund! I have called 4 times, and been waited over 15 minutes each time for their Customer Services to respond.

You are able to get through to their sales department within seconds, however, their service leaves a lot to be desired.

I would not recommend this company to any one who wants a professional after care service

Knowledgeable and helpful customer services, good prices, and flexible delivery options. Only negative is that I paid for 2 man delivery, to get a double oven up to my 2nd floor flat, but on arrival was told that they could only go up 14 steps max - obviously not enough, making that service pretty useless to me. This should be made clearer/checked at the time of purchase. Fortunately I had delivery-men who took pity on me!

This supplier is was not only the cheapest I could find for the product I was buying but the item was in stock and you are able to select your own delivery date.

The day before delivery they text and confirm and narrow down the delivery time to a two hour window. So if your bored of hearing the usual "we can't give you time except sometime between 8am - 6pm rubbish" then send other suppliers a clear message about their slack service and use these people instead.

If my memoery serves me correctly I think you can also select a Saturday service at no additional cost - GREAT SERVICE - OTHER SUPPLIERS TAKE NOTE
