Ordered a Fisher Paykal Fridge Freezer with next day delivery. The day of delivery received news - no fridge as the billing and delivery address were different (my partners flat was the billing address. The delivery address was our new home). It took all day to be resolved to prove ownership and we were happy with their stringent checks at the time. The resolve was get the fridge delivered to the billing address (my partners flat). They couldn't deliver it the next day we had to wait another week. The day of delivery the drivers rang to say they were 15 minutes away. My partner went to the billing address the drivers weren't there. He got home and asked me if the drivers had been I said no. He rang the drivers - they said they rang customer services to find out which address they were supposed to deliver to. Customer services then told them to not deliver at all. To return the item back to warehouse which is what they did. They advised us to speak to customer services and if they approved delivery they would return. We contacted customer services confident that the complications would be resolved. We were wrong. They were extremely unhelpful, unsympathetic. No notes regarding our order existed and there was nothing they could do to help. We therefore had no other choice but to cancel the order and ask for a refund and to add further insult told us we had to wait for the refund. Such a shame that 1 person could have helped and yet chose not to to our detriment. Thanks so much!
