I recently purchased a used Toyota from this facility. Was fortunate to be helped by Chris Lin. He was awesome and explained to me every detail of the transaction and also about the car. I was not rushed through the deal. I left the facility with the new car and big smile in my face. I would recommend this place for new and used cars. Was very disappointed. I ve been coming to this location for the past 8 years. Was surprised to see it s not Magnussen Lexus anymore. It s sad to see the quality of service has left with Magnussen. First of all there are no more operators or receptionist to help answer any calls or questions. The lobby is busy with salespeople that are hovering like annoying flies. I came to get my car serviced and told the gentleman I wanted to meet with the finance person. He very pleasantly said let me walk you to them. As we walk into the lobby he makes me wait in the waiting area and then brings me a salesperson who pretends to be a finance person. Super disappointed. To make things worse my car wasn t washed properly either, just rinsed from outside. The previous folks would have never done that.
Horrible experience. Magnussen Lexus gave us a written quote for a car they did not have; they knew we were driving over two hours (116 miles) one way to buy the car. Once we arrived they switched the vehicle and wanted to sell a more expensive vehicle to us. Very Unscrupulous. They do not care what their customers have to go through, they just care about their buck. They are just callous and cruel. I drove a total of five hours. Pure devious. Bait and Switch appears to be their Modus operando. They did not feel the need to even apologize.
Terrible Customer Service. We walked in, was not greeted at the door. We waited 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us when there was low census at the dealership. It was the last dealership we visited today and we felt profiled, discriminated against and mistreated. We were not taken seriously. Management was very rude, stated that he could not shake our hands because he was "sick". They denied us access to test drive a vehicle that we are very serious about purchasing. They stated that we could not test drive the car because of its low mileage and "personal connection" to vehicle and could not "allow a test drive" unless a deal was fully negotiated and placed. According to the salesman, they also do not allow test drives because many people come in for "joyrides", which leads me to believe he assumed that we came to the dealership for simply, a joy ride. We appear young, BUT we are in a professional field of nursing where we treat everyone equally and with respect. At this dealership, we left with an unwelcoming, unsettling feeling of disgust and a sense reality, that some people do underestimate the buying power of young individuals, who may not "fit" the image of a stereotypical individual who appears to be of wealth. We will definitely have the pleasure of taking our business elsewhere.
I have been coming here for years. It is definitely not the closest Lexus center but by far the best in delivering Excellent customer experience. Arnold Stovall has been my service advisor for the past 4 years. He explains the situation without overwhelming me with auto shop Verbiage and is professional, and engaging. On multiple occasions, he has gone over and beyond to ensure that I leave with the issue resolved without breaking the bank. I am rating the Magnussen s service center as a whole, not individual service. PROs - knowledgeable, welcoming and professional staff for the most part, generous array of loaner cars to allow you to test different models and know which model you would like to purchase next, decent warranty on parts. CONs- timing could be improved, wait time for loaners can be up to an hour, even longer occasionally, some parts are more expensive in this location than other Lexus service centers, cashiers are nice but seem overwhelmed, sometimes slow to check out loaners or just conclude so you can leave in a timely manner. Hopefully they will continue to improve
It was my first purchase at Magnussen Lexus and I had Robert Sun who helped me. He had excellent service that he went above and beyond to help his customer. I d definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
Sonny is an amazing sales expert, he was informative and sincere with the entire process. It was a no pressure, and stress free environment, and car buying can be really stressful, instead I had fun with it! Andy, the sales manager was great as well, and really worked those numbers. My service experience was amazing. I had Christina Fulkerson as my service advisor. She took really good care of me and my cars needs. I went in to get my car serviced for an oil change and a light bulb change. She let me know my status of my car and when it was ready for pick up. Very efficient and easy.
I bought my car here. My car is now almost 10 years old, and I've been taking it here for service the entire time. The staff is always professional, and provide above and beyond service. I have many examples, like finding great pricing for tires. Also, despite my car being older, it is always treated like brand new.
I visited Magnussen Lexus of Fremont for a repair on my older (2006) Lexus and I was simply amazed at the experience. All staff were friendly and forthcoming. All the folks I encountered, whether they were directly involved with my car or not, were smiling and helpful. Yes the job was done right and on time. I would absolutely stay away from this dealership. We had a horrible experience with them. My wife and I have been test driving cars for the past month or so. We decided on the GS50. We were waiting to find the right color. We found one at Magnussen Lexus of Fremont. Being that we live in Sacramento I called the dealership and asked if we could do thing over the phone. I was given to Sonny Alvarez. He indicated that would not be a problem. He sent over the paper work. We promptly filled out and sent back. We were approved for financing. Being it was a Saturday our credit union was closed. So he indicated we can work with them the next buesiness day which was Monday to get a better rate. The next day went by and I did not hear anything back. Few days later I was told we got a lower rate with the credit union. He even sent over the break down of the price. It being a few days later (now Thursday) I told Sonny we would be there this weekend to finish up the paper work and get the car. Today Friday we were told the car has been SOLD. He did indicate that he had other cars for us. This could be considered Bait and Switch. During this whole process Sonnies communication has been horrible. At one point I sent an email to Bo Magnussen explaining my frustrations. I was blown off by him. Told he would hand it over to a manager (keep in mind Sonny indicated he was a manager). It was almost like he did not even want us to buy a car. We had to reach out day after day. We even had to do most of the leg work on getting a better rate. I received a call from Javier Rabago shortly after being told the car I was going to buy had been purchased to tell me they had other great cars. So to break it down We found the car we wanted Called and made an offer Got approved for the financing Scheduled the date and time to pick it up Got told it was sold.
So now I have a ding on my credit while I look for a new car. Hope I can do within 30 days.
This is a little late but i wanted to make sure i put this in. I recently purchased a lexus from this facility and had the best car buying experience. Me and my wife were greeted by Matt Yi and he was also the agent who helped us close the deal. We were never put under any pressure and in fact Matt was super patient in answering all our questions. I am amazed at how folks at Magnussen work with you to make sure you drive away with a good deal. This goes out to the folks in finance. Great place and great staff. We went back a week later with a few fixtures that were missed when the car was delivered to us and Matt and the awesome folks in servicing fixed it right away for us at zero cost. This proves that these guys value customers, which is a huge thing for us. We will be going back when its time to buy our next car for sure. If you have an option please do ask for Matt Yi...he is a great guy to have by your side while buying your next car.
I had scheduled an appointment at Lexus of Fremont for my Lexus ES-350 air bag recall service. Mr. Vener Padilla as well as people who recorded the service details were really cordial and highly professional. Mr. Vener Padilla provided a very prompt service and explained everything very well.
I came to purchase a certified preowned Lexus ES 300h from Fresno. Even though it was 2.5 hr drive Steven Koidal from this dealer made it worth it. I got a fair trade for my trade in and got a really good deal for the Lexus. The purchase experience was surprisingly pleasant and painless. No surprises. I would highly recommend and have done so for my friends in Fresno.

I got connected to this dealership through the Costco auto program. The dealership response was very slow. They do not seem to have much interest in helping me find the car I want and sell it to me.
I expressed interest in a 2013 Mercedes on their lot and waited to be contacted from a salesperson but what I got was a text message of a business card. Are you F...ing kidding me. That's the respect a potential gets?o OK maybe my credit isn't the best but give me the respect a consumer deserves. I will take my business elsewhere
I went to this dealership with a cousin who was car shopping. We were met by Neil Chandra and I found him to be very personable and honest. And very funny. His customer service was excellent and he really seems to know cars. I will be returning in the new year as I'm looking to get a car for myself then.

I recently leased a 2013 Lexus IS250 from Magnussen Lexus. OMG! What is there to say other than WOW? Neil Chandra is definitely a one of a kind sales person. I dont even like using the word sales person, because you at no point in the experience did I feel like I was being "sold" on a car. It felt as if I was building a life long friendship. His customer service skills are definitely above par, and he goes above and beyond. From leasing the car, getting me the best rate, and even providing me with little goodies to go home with. I would recommend Neil Chandra to anyone and everyone that is thinking of joining the Lexus family!

Today I took my car to Magnussen Lexus due to concerns about a noise I thought was coming from a wheel. Service Consultant Justin Plude handled my case with incredible courtesy and professionalism. My car was thoroughly inspected by a technician and cleaned before it was returned to me. In the end, Justin handed me a detailed report showing what service needed to be done hopefully during my next visit. A big thank you to Magnussen Lexus for your excellent work.
If I could give 0 stars I would. The people that work here are horrible at communicating. Spent lots of money on protection packages, as I was told a small ding or dent would be covered for free.These protection plans cost thousands of dollars. I brought the car in because it got dinged in the parking lot, looked like a shopping cart streak. They even said it was a ding . They charged me to me to fix it. While dealing with them, I called and left numerous messages and no one could call back or answer. Never would buy a car here again, not recommended. Update - Talked with Bill the branch manger, he explained the coverage we purchased and helped me out while relaying to me that customer service was there #1 priority. Thank you Bill for contacting and we will be happy to continue doing business with you in the future.
I have two Lexus vehicles and they are routinely maintained by Magnussens. Magnussens Lexus is very accommodating on scheduling service appointments and providing loaner cars. The service reps are knowledgeable and never pushy.. and the quality of work appears excellent... between the cars I have/had with them getting it is approaching 20 vehicle years and I have never had one issue due to bad maintenance. I highly recommend Vener Padilla, who I take my cars to all the time.
Also what is nice is that the facility is first rate -- it is a nice place for hanging out while you get service done on your vehicle : free wifi, TV, popcorn, coffee.... and the waiting area is very clean and well decorated!

I emailed Sarah about a car I was interested in. I told her my budget and she called it an "embarrassment". It is for a used Lexus that is a fair price from KellyBlueBook. It seems very professional to insult a customer. I just want to know the manager who hired her. I do not what to negotiate with her manager, I just want to know what he was thinking hiring her.
Great customer service from Lexus service advisor Mr. Caplan. He is honest, very knowledgeable and super friendly. I would recommend this dealership specifically because of the outstanding staff.

Since it was a big service milestone, i was able to get a loaner vehicle. The next day after the car was done, it was washed and vacuumed. Love the service and staff here.

I love this dealership for several reasons. I had a wonderful experience and dealings with Ms. Amara Ragchaa, Internet Presenter. She has been very friendly, honest, and very responsive with my initial contact by phone and when I met her in person. She showed me the three different cars I wanted to check and the transaction after that just went smoothly and fast. I would also like to commend the financial coordinator for a very good service. The dealership environment and structure is also very nice, clean, and elegant. I love their practice of putting a red big bow on top of your new car and tutorial given about your new car. Bought my 2005 Lexus at Fremont in Nov. 2005 and have used their mobile services since day one. Michael in Service works very well with "seniors" and I feel very confident with him. Carmen (auto delivery) and Samson (home servicing) are a real asset. 5 star recommendation.
If you ever need service contact Arnold he takes good care of me every time I go in, weather it's just an oil change or a major service you name it Arnold is the man. He has good customer service very friendly and makes you feel at home never pressures me to do any extra services on my vehicle. This place is welcoming as you go in and has a nice and clean play area for kids with a very nice salt water fish tank. Has a room with massage chairs and even a waiting area with a TV mean while your vehicle is getting serviced. I live all the way in Oakland and I prefer to bring my car here rather than Coliseum Lexus.

Best of all, Chris got me a Great Deal! Also, he is professional, patient, tech-savvy, understanding, non-pushy and extremely dedicated to helping customers I really recommend Chris!
Service was great the reason for 4 stars it always takes forever to get my car after the services has been paid for. This last time it took more than 15 mins to bring the car up.
I've had a very disappointing experience with Lexus recently from the car buying experience to the service. I recently moved to California and bought a NX200t from this dealership. After I signed the agreement, the sales guy (Steve K.) told me Lexus has a complimentary shuttle service to pick me up from my house to the dealership. Minutes later he called to me to say their driver was unavailable and they would reimburse me for Uber there. Never saw the reimbursement. It's not the money part, but the not keeping your word part that gets me.
Fast forward a month later, my car window got broken into so I took it to the dealership for repairs. They (Robert F.) looked at it and suggest that I bring it to a body shop. When I got my car back this morning, I had expect to find the car back in the original condition as when I brought it to them. Instead, I opened my car door to find..no door. Just a bunch of wires peeking at me, and the door sitting haphazardly in the back seat of the car. Frankly, I had no expected to see this lack of professionalism. When you pay for a luxury brand like Lexus, you expect a certain kind of professionalism and service that was clearly not displayed here. One word: DISAPPOINTED! I hope it's just this particular dealership and not a reflection of the overall Lexus brand.
