I had been looking to buy a certified Lexus for a while. My husband and I went to Magnussen Lexus of Fremont and a gentleman by the name of Fred Omar showed us a few cars. When I decided what year and model I wanted we went back again and asked for Fred to help us. He is very professional, extremely knowledgeable about cars and a great negotiator. He found a car that I liked, got us a good deal and on 12/5, I walked out of the dealership with a beautiful certified Lexus. I highly recommend him to anybody who is thinking about buying a Lexus. You will appreciate his polite manner, professionalism, his sincerity and the breadth of his knowledge when you work with Fred.

I came into Lexus of Fremont in early September to cancel my pre-paid maintenance package. I was told that there was only ONE person I could speak with in order to do this, Bret Chan. Unfortunately, he wasn't there that day and I would have to wait and they provided me with his business card.

I sent an email to Bret the same day explaining what I wanted to do and asked what he needed from me so that the next visit I could come prepared. I told him I would be coming in on Saturday since reception said on Wednesdays he had the day off which is unfortunate for me since those are the only days I work from home during the week to come in.

I waited for a reply and never got one. I came in that Saturday and he wasn't available. Just like everyone else, I HATE having my time wasted. So I started to call and leave voicemails. Not a single call was returned. Not an email was replied to.

At this point I feel like Lexus of Fremont has put me towards chasing a ghost. It's absolutely ridiculous that there is only ONE person in their entire finance department who is available to help you on a request it's been two months and I STILL haven't heard back from them.

I'm a patient person and I gave them ample time to get back to me but this is unacceptable. Expect that once you buy your car from here they provide you with zero service and support after and just waste your time!

I went in as a first time luxury car buyer and was helped by Bennie Carter. He was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. I felt no pressure to buy on the spot or out of my price range. The entire experience was actually much more relaxing than I had anticipated. I would recommend his service to anyone interested in purchasing a new car.

I and my wife really liked Magnussen Lexus of Fremont. Our salesman Oscar was a really nice guy who made sure that we got the best deal in bay area. Even the finance manager Ric here is very humble and jolly. Both of them made sure that the entire process was very relaxed and that we were happy with what we were buying. Oscar took special pains to proactively show us some of the accessories that we could have installed in the car. He never misguided regarding anything.

Even after purchase, he made sure that the extra accessories that we wanted were installed within a day and that we didn't have to deal with the service department directly. I am mentioning this because some dealerships in bay area would not care about such things after purchase and would just leave you to deal with the service department.

We had never dealt with Magnussen Lexus before even though we owned a 2007 Lexus. They were the only Lexus dealer that had an RX 450h in the color and options we wanted so we made an appointment to test drive it. The night before we got a call from Sonny A. that he would be meeting with us regarding the appointment. We thought we were going to be pressured into buying a car with more options. When we got to Magnussen's, Sonny told us that the car we were there to see had been sold and that he had already checked and there were no other cars in the color and options we wanted available. We decided to test drive the RX 450h just to make sure that we still wanted that model and after the test drive, we did. He asked if there was any other color we would take and we finally decided that the Nebula Grey would be fine. He checked and said he would be able to get that color with the options we wanted but that it would take several days. He said if we were willing to wait, that he would have to the car delivered to our home at their cost. After that, we said we would take the car and with the internet discount and Lexus previous owner discount along with our trade-in of our old Lexus, the price was better than expected and there was no pressure at all. We would highly recommend Magnussen Lexus of Fremont if you are looking for any model of Lexus.

Michael Stuart was great, as was the entire auto body service staff--they get 5 stars. The reason for the 3 stars is because I averaged out my experience here. The person at the cashier's department was awful. My friend and I came to pick up his vehicle on 11/23/14 around 2:30 pm. I couldn't get the name of the cashier attendant, but she was the only Latina working there. First, she didn't acknowledge us, just stood there...fair enough. The she asks for my friend's last name, which she couldn't locate on the computer. This forced my friend to actual run out to the service department and retrieve the service statement/receipt himself. I was annoyed, but my friend was still being a gentleman and respectful handed her the receipt, and she responds by accusing him of giving the wrong name initially! My friend kindly corrected her pointing out that he had in fact giving the correct name earlier, to which she replied, "oh" She then continues to eat her french fries (gross) as she completes the transaction on her computer. Really Magnussen of Fremont??? Really? Being totally honest and fair, the DMV provides better customer service then she did.

I remember calling Praneal Chandra when I wanted to buy a Lexus. We had previously seen the model. I called Praneal and requested he get the car ready. He called back within couple hours and mentioned the car was detailed and ready to go. Bought the car and have enjoyed owning it ever-since. Even though I live out of town, I still get my car serviced at Magnusson's because of the curtesey and professional service offered by Praneal. My family has bought 3 Lexus from Praneal/Magnusson's Lexus.

84 month battery warranty means nothing unless you install new battery in their shop. I bought a battery in Feb '16. It died yesterday. To get the prorated warranty claim, I was told I got to have the battery installed in their shop. Hmm, I can not get the engine started, how am I ever to drive the car to their place? Get the car towed to their place? or jump start the car and pray it doesn't get stalled on the way? Never heard a warranty claim is contingent on another new buy. 84 month warranty is just a ploy to get you hooked, and later using create ways to deny warranty claim.

Just recently I was car shopping at Magnussen Lexus of Fremont, I was being helping by a gentleman named Neil Chandra. I was really tense about going car shopping but when I talked to Neil my nerves were at ease. He was very polite and personable, he also seemed knowledgeable about all the cars in the lot and had great answers to my questions. Not once did I feel like he was trying to sell me a car I didn't want for his benefit. I would definitely recommend seeing Neil Chandra if you're car shopping at Magnussen Lexus in Fremont, he will make you feel comfortable and relaxed while helping you choose a car that's perfect for you.

Gabe Hernandez went above and beyond to help me find the perfect car for me. This was my first time buying from a dealership and I had spent most of the day at many others. I had mostly poor interactions from other salesmen at other dealerships( pushy, overly aggressive, you know the type) but Gabe at Lexus of Fremont was very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable and supportive while on the journey to finding a car. This is my third Lexus and I would not trust anyone else but the Magnussens Lexus. They are very knowledgeable, professional and the follow through is outstanding. I know Monte since 1998 when my first Lexus was purchased. He is the best service director I ever dealt with. He respond very quickly and resolved any issues in a timely manner. He even picked up and delivered my in a crunch time. Unfortunately I had to move out of the Bay Area but I miss my favorite dealership and people at Magnussens. I wish them good luck!

I have been a very royal customer. I have been trusting them and bringing my car to them for services for over a year. I also did major maintenance with them so spent thousands of dollars with them. Last year summer, they recommended me to change all four tires which I did. They charged me for over $2,000 which I was hoping their service would deserve that price.

Last month, when I brought my car to them for service again, they suggested me to change tires again. I asked them why I have to change ties again within such short time and they said someone put too much air in my tires so they worn out quickly than usual. They tried to indicate that was someone else but I am 100% sure no one else has touched my tires other than themselves. After I pointed that out, they tried to argue it was because the temperature change which doesn t make sense either because I changed tires in summer, so the temperature would only go down not up.

We ended up with no conclusion on that service day. I had to go home and described the situation in text when they send me the customer service text. They responded saying they will investigating but I didn t even hear them back. Tried to follow up but no one else cares. I am extremely disappointed. I hope I at least get a reasonable explanation.

Overall, I am a very busy person. But in this particular case I have to share an experience I had in purchasing a car. When I arrived at Magnussen's Lexus of Fremont I expected to be mauled by an aggressive sales person but that wasn't the case at all. I met a sales person, Neil Chandra, who greeted me as if we had met before and insisted that I call him Neil instead of Mr. Chandra. It immediately put me in a calmer state of mind and I started to feel less stressed about the whole car buying ordeal. Before jumping down my throat about buying a car, he walked me into the dealership into what I would describe as a family friendly lounge area, to offer me a warm cup of coffee of different flavors on hand. Also during this time, he introduced me to a few coworkers and management personnel. I enjoyed the fact that Neil didn't immediately rush me off to a back office/room to interrogate me on what type of car I was interested in purchasing or hide me as if to keep me away from coworkers who could snatch me away from him to make a sale. Instead, we enjoyed a cup of coffee while discussing my criteria for a car in a more relaxed setting. Neil had a very genuine interest in the type of care I was looking for and not pushing me toward some other high priced car that would benefit some type of mandatory quota. After it appeared to me that he had an understanding of what I wanted, we proceeded to walk the lot to preview and test drive cars that fit my criteria. I am happy to say Neil did a great job in narrowing down what I was looking for and sold me a car. All the final paper work we had to accomplish was easy and painless. I know there are tons of car commercials out there from happy customers but I must say this experience in buying a car for me was truly a first for me. I have purchased cars before but never experience a fun easy day out car shopping as I experience with Neil. Great job !

I was looking to purchase a brand new Lexus GS 350 and compared prices with Lexus of Steven's Creek and Pleasanton, but found the best deal from Neil Chandra at Magnussen's Lexus. Not only did Neil give me the best quote but he was the most helpful. I called him with the type of car, color, and features I wanted, and he called me back within 30 minutes with more than what I was looking for.

I usually do not have great experiences with sales people because they are pushy and persuasive. But buying a car from Neil Chandra is like having someone on your side. Neil is very very honest and gives you his best opinion, he will not sell you something that you will not need like other sales people.

I have and always will recommend Neil Chandra to all my family, friends, and coworkers, because he makes purchasing a luxury vehicle that much more easy!

I was trying to decide between two models and Jenny Haskell and Steven Koidal gave me the information and driving experience I needed to make a decision on which model to buy. They had a variety of cars of that model on the lot, so I could get the colors and options that I wanted. Danny Dang went over the different financing and service options and answered all of my questions. Steven got the car connected to my phone before I left the lot. Steven used my phone to take a picture of me with my new car with a huge red bow on top! The model I bought has every single option under the sun and Jared Hovander, their technology specialist, showed me how to use each one. I have been a customer of this dealership for the last twenty years.

We visited different car dealers and ended up bying our Lexus from Kathleen Xu at Magnussen Lexus of Fremont. Kathleen is an extraordinary sales professional. She kindly welcomed the whole family of ours taking our three kids into consideration very warmly, provided us with all the information we inquired, got back to us immediately (even at 2 a.m.) whatever questions or comments we had etc. Kathleen works very hard and efficiently, and so we were able to close our deal within a week. Purchased a new 2020 Lexus 450h after a 3 month search using all of the usual car finding sites. Fremont Lexus has a great website, product selection and a very helpful sales and support organization. Jim Maroudas did a great job on the pre-sales process of my acquisition and Kathleen Xu was excellent in her coordination on the sales and post sales process. Nick Munoz was most helpful on the RX delivery spending a couple hours with us explaining all of the technical features and options. He displayed excellent product knowledge and communication skills. My only problem as that I had to drive a beautifully detailed Lexus home in the rain. Fortunately I was just trained by Nick on all of the windshield wiper systems and features. Would definitely recommend Magnussen Lexus to everyone.

Magnussen was the most friendly, non-pushy dealership, that got me the car I want, for the lowest price that I could have paid anywhere. Eric is a great person to work with, and he put my wife and my minds at ease. Would recommend this dealership for all your Lexus needs, any day.

This week, my advisor was Christina and while I was nervous due to the Pandemic, she worked with me to get my car serviced. My amazing sales Rep was Robert Sun. I first found my car on Cargurus. When I called in, we mad an appointment to come in and see the interested vehicle (2018 450HL). Brought my grand kids with me to sample the 3rd row seat space. I've got to tell you that Robert was very patient, offered the kids snacks, but not before asking me permission, was very detailed with how to use the back seats and all the other special gadgets in the car!

I asked if we could set up an appointment to take the car for another test drive the next day without kids. Came in, again greeted with enthusiasm and welcome by staff, who asked where the grand kids were! After the test drive I was getting anxious in making the sale, as it always comes with pressure and negotiating. Upon sitting in Robert's office, he was very thorough with all the warranties the car came with, what options I had, what other extra apps came with my car. Things I didn't know existed with a car! We negotiated the price on car and I felt that he was fair. Walked over to financing and again no haggling, it was sign, sign and them the rate and price were explained. I have never experienced such a calm and relaxing sales transaction such as this! And believe me, I've purchased many cars!

I live in San Jose and driving to Fremont Magnussen was worth the 15 minute extra drive. Sales Manager Alex was extra helpful when we had an address hiccup. I was able to come in, get verified and all was taken care of. I gotta say that all the staff here is very professional and I will be coming back again, to purchase my next car in a couple of years!
