The service at Magnussens Lexus of Fremont is wonderful, from the start they had my dream SUV. Although, it wasn't a Lexus they have treated me as if it was. I purchased a previously owned Toyota Sequoia from Neil Chandra. The whole experience was great and the whole team was there to help. Usually, the paperwork is the worst part of purchasing a car but at Magnussens Lexus it was easy, no one was pushy and answered all of our questions. Neil Chandra was not pushy as many car salespeople can be. Neil never acted like a sales person, instead he was there to help me achieve my dream of getting the car I have always wanted.

After the sale Neil was still there for me. Someone hit my car not long after I purchased it and he helped me get the best place to repair it. Neil even picked me up from the repair shop and took me to the rental car agency.

I have utilized my warranty for the car, this was a stream lined process with no problems. I called Neil and he handled everything for me. I just went and dropped of the car and jumped into a loaner. When the repair was done, I dropped off the loaner and jumped back into my car. The service guys were always very nice and my car was cleaner than when I dropped it off!

The customer service provided to me from Neil Chandra and Magnussens Lexus is like no other. I recommend him anytime I know someone is shopping around for a new or used car.

Magnussen Lexus of Fremont has always been a pleasurable experience. From purchasing a new car, to using their service center. Their dealership is amazing! -just like the slogan. I've purchased two new Lexus vehicles, and Benny Carter has always taken great care of me. I tried looking elsewhere to buy my new ES, but Magnussen, like always gave me the best deal! Benny, and his manager went out of his way to get me the best deal, and set me with a monthly payment that I felt comfortable with. Definitely recommend Magnussen Lexus, I will definitely return for service and my future purchases. Remember to ask for Benny Carter, he is your go to guy, very attentive, and will take care of you needs. Also, Jimmy Wong was very helpful thru out this process. Thank you Magnussen Lexus team!

Magnussen is an example of how to do things right. They understand that people are usually up tight about buying a car and deal with customers accordingly. The sales person that I worked with, Gabe Hernandez understood how to deal with a skeptical customer (me) and his experience showed in the answers he gave to the questions he anticipated. A no rush test drive convinced me that the tech issues that I THOUGHT that I had with the car were easy to overcome. Consequently, I'm driving around in the nicest car that I've ever owned (ES300h).

Highly Recommend. I've purchased from Magnussen's Lexus before and they continue to be a stellar dealership with an exceptional staff all around. Gabe Hernandez provided excellent service and expertise with complete knowledge of their inventory. We were able to narrow down a car to my specifics within a short time. He walked me through several models through the show room and the test drives.

Gabe's professionalism is exemplary. He is attentive to what I am looking for; rather than imposing what he wants to sell. It was a great experience to work with Gabe once again!

The closing process with Finance went very well. Rick Choudhary is knowledgeable and straightforward. He was thorough with explaining my finance options as well as additional warranties. I appreciate the time he spent with me.

Overall, their facility is also A+++. Gabe and Magnussen's create a great car buying experience. I am happy with my purchase and definitely glad I came back to them for a return purchase.

I've owned two Lexus cars and always had my service done at Magnussen Lexus of Fremont. The professionals there have been consistently reliable. They keep me well-informed about the status of the repair and provide several options for transportation during repair (loaner, shuttle).

Word to the Wise! Be careful when buying and make ...

Word to the Wise! Be careful when buying and make sure you read everything! i.e. Extended Warranty, Prepaid Maintenance Packages, etc.

To be clear, Fremont Lexus has Two Options for Prepaid Maintenance packages. They have the Lexus Luxury Care Package they need to sell, and then they have their own. This is what was explained to me just recently. I was told the Luxury Package allows you to go to any Lexus nation wide and the other is just Local, you can only go to the dealer in which you purchased your vehicle.

Now here's the thing, pay attention, the Luxury Package has an expiration date and mileage use. I'm only pointing this out, because we were never informed of this expiration date. We were aware of the ending mileage, but we figured we would never get to that mileage because we usually trade in our vehicles prior to that particular mileage.

Just food for thought, if you don't drive a lot, you might be better just paying for the Local prepaid maintenance that doesn't expire, but remember you need to go to the same Lexus you purchased your vehicle.

Also note, other Lexus dealers want your business, ask for a quote for a prepaid maintenance package from several other dealer to get the best price possible. Someone will want your business, don't be pressured to purchasing the package right then and there. That goes for the extended warranty as well. Feel free to call other Lexus dealers to get a quote on the extended warranty as well. The only benefit of buying while purchasing your new vehicle, is you can finance it with the car. Sure it makes it easy but they are actually making money on top of what they are already making buy sell you the car.

The reason for the little review. We purchased our vehicle back in 2013. They took in our barely used 2006 vehicle, gave us little money for. Sold us the extended warranty, which we were able to get 8 years up to 90k, don't forget to negotiate. But when it came to the prepaid maintenance. We just figured what the heck, we already had one we'll just get another for the new care. Not once did the finance person say the package expired. I know, it's my fault for not reading what we signed. But I just figured I could trust people.

So in summery, I don't like say negative things about dealers or anybody. Just know, we have had better service at our previous Lexus dealer; read what you are signing and be aware of the expiration date of the Luxury Package.

We will not be going back to Fremont Lexus for anything, and we will not be recommending Fremont Lexus to anybody.

We will be going back to our original Lexus dealer, were they treat you like royalty.

My recent buying experience at the Magnussen Lexus of Fremont was excellent. Although the car didn't qualify for the Costco Auto Program, the sales person, Kathleen, did her best to work with me on a reasonable price. On top of the price, the whole experience was atypically pleasant.

These guys are very unprofessional ..I am moving out of the country, so I went to transfer my lease, took the buyer with me... their finance manager came out and told us that he hasn't heard of anything like a lease transfer.. "we don't do it and neither does lexus".. only option you have is to go to a credit union, get a loan and buy the car..
A sales guy accompaning him suggested that I sell the car to the dealership and he will help the buyer get a cheaper loan.
How can somebody, so bluntly give wrong advise to the customer and not only on their behalf but also on Lexus's behalf..
I didn't have a great experience when I was getting the car from either.. very unfriendly people.

I never write reviews but Neil Chandra was so friendly and really made me feel at ease- I was able to ask him all of my questions with zero hesitation and he gave the best suggestions for what type of car would be perfect for me. If it can be rated 0 star for this dealer i would. They have terrible service no responsibility to their customers. They only friendly when you are going to purchase their cars. When you have problem they just try to ignore. I had a problem with my new car (the car has only 300 miles) tires problem. I brought it in to get fixed on Saturday The service adviser took a picture of my car and said his manager will call me back with in 24 to 48 hrs to follow up.I was waiting waiting for about a week. My brother and I both called back the following week to the service manger named Oscar 6 times. We left messages and hope he will reply but it had never happened we had to bring our brand new car to different dealer to get helped. This is unacceptable to a dealer treating their customer like that. Please stay away this dealer

He took his time to give us all the things we need to know that helped us pick the perfect vehicle that we were looking for. Originally came in just to "look" because my budget was kind of low but ended up leasing a new car which I absolutely love!! My sales person, Fred, was able to really help me understand how far my budget could take me. After exploring a few options and us requesting to see many options we found the perfect fit. Fred probably lost a few pounds - we had him running around the dealer showing us so many cars. The experience was extremely easy, and he was really informative and understanding which is great because I'm younger and this is the first car I've ever bought for myself. Fred has definitely made himself two lifetime customers. We will be back for another car in a few years.

I have had excellent service in the past 8 years but my last service at Lexus of Fremont was horrible. I was on hold on three different phone lines from my home. One one I was on hold for 47 minutes. Finally the line hung up on me. The day before after being told my car was ready for pickup but the guy didn't even ask my name or what car was mine. Called again was told no it wasn't ready. Couldn't even get an update. Left message on my service guys voice mail, no return call. Called following day service rep haven't been to work for days. So no I won't be bringing my car to this dealer. They had my car two weeks for a battery issue. All it needed was a new battery.

I was still driving my first car that my parents had bought me when I was 18 so I had no idea what or how this process was going to be like. I was more nervous than I was excited. Went in for the fuel pump recall and passenger side mirror issue. Fuel pump was replaced according to paperwork, I hope. Why I say this? Passenger side mirror was not fixed and probably never looked into.

The gentlemen I spoke with at the dealership, maybe the service manager tried to make excuses to avoid dealing with the issue. I told him that my vehicle was ready according to the text, he said I don t know who sent you that text . He said we didn t charge you for looking into this issue . Did you get into an accident by chance ? When I brought up warranty, he said the vehicle is out of warranty . He didn t realize my warranty is good for another year.

The fix to the mirror is that there s 2 motors, one of them needs to be replaced. Yes, this is coming from the customer and not the experienced, I hope, service manager from Lexus.

I will not bring my vehicle into this dealer for service anymore since they do not respect customer s time.

I bought my Lexus a bit over 4 years ago with Gabe Hernandez. It was a wonderful purchase experience, with Gabe really taking care of me, not pushing pressure, and helping me get the right price. He even went out of his way to have the exact color of car I wanted shipped from LA!!

Since then, I've been very satisfied with my car and having it serviced almost exclusively at Fremont Lexus. The service manager, Monte Munoz, is awesome and genuinely cares. He leads a team of very good service advisors who provide excellent service and have always bent over to take care of my car.

As always, the dealership itself is very luxurious and nice; just being there is elevating.

I highly recommend Fremont Lexus both for new purchases and service! It's a great experience with both the car and the dealership that will make life a bit easier.
