Very disrespectful answers even from email. Asked a few questions for a car in their inventory, instead of answering he would just keep say "IF YOU WANT TO MISS THIS PERFECT DEAL, YOUR CHOICE". "PRICE WILL DEPEND ON ME, JUST COME IN"

He tells me that I need to pay for the Certificate. So I asked him back that
"I've never heard of a CUSTOMER buying the certificate for CPO vehicles, can you explain?" Then his respond was "NOTHING IS FREE IN THIS WORLD".
Like, what?? Am I talking to an actual dealer? I AM NOT 5 YEARS OLD.

Very, very disappointed. I will never want to make any inquiries for the future, nor any purchase from this Lexus Dealership.

I visited the lexus of englewood today with the intentions of purchasing a gs350, however I spent about 20 minutes looking at inventory without one single employee asking if i needed assistance. It was a pathetic experience to say the least but i suppose my attire (shorts & a tee shirt) was not appropriate clothing to wear to the dealership. Needless to say i took my interest & money down to BMW of tenafly where I was acknowledged as a human being. I would strongly recommend staying away from this dealership moving forward.

SCAMMERS! They are going out of business. They took a 5K deposit on a car and said it would arrive in 3 days. It's been 3 weeks. They don't answer calls. I finally went in and they said they are going bankrupt and can't get me my car or give a refund. To this day, they are still open and if someone walks in and wants a car, they are stealing their money too! DON"T GO THERE! SCAMMERS! THIEVES! GOING OUT OF BUSINESS AND WON'T REFUND! UNETHICAL!

Wow! Loved loved this dealership!!!! It was my first time here, and it was my first time shopping for a Lexus. Everyone treated me great, and I got the car that I wished for and within my price range! I couldn t be happier. Nayem was my salesman, and he was so understanding to my needs, cordial and professional. I was offered snacks, water and coffee during my appmt. I also went for 2 test drives, and both went well. Aftwe leasing my car, Nayem patiently took a bunch of photos of me for my Instagram, which I appreciated. The managers and the rest of the staff was also very friendly and everyone congratulated me. I think I m officially think I m a Lexus girl for life THANK YOU!

Even though I moved from Essex to Monmouth County, buying a car from Darcar Lexus of Englewood is always my choice . Working with great guys like Chris Vassallo and Nate Green, I am assured of the best thorough customer service around . These men have class and product knowledge and treat me in such a polite and friendly manner. I will be sure to spread the word and send others to reap the benefits of dealing with Nate and Chris. And of course the biggest form of flattery is to let them know I will return!!!

If i could give 0 stars, i would. I made an appointment at 1pm but I am still here!! Waiting! And it's 3:27pm! Apparently there's a long line but why is it that when we came here we were the only ones here and now people who came after us are leaving before us?! We're only getting our tires checked! Seriously?! Also when we made an appointment for 1pm, he told us he put the car in at 2pm! What's the point of making an appointment then? We cant even talk to the customer service lady because she would just give us an attitude. My whole family drives Lexus but seriously, NEVER again.

I purchased a certified Lexus ES 300h on 02/08/17
The sales person had broke their 3 of the following promises.
1) The front bumper cover was missing. They had offered to fix it, but it has been over one month and they still haven't given me a bumper cover.
2) The car has lot of small scratches, but they said after buffing and polishing most of them will go away. However, after one wash 90% of them came back.
3) They offer 1.9% APR for 5 years, but last minute they changed it to 2.5% APR and my credit score is rated very good.
I called them multiple times to fix my problems but they have not addressed them, so stay away from Lexus of Englewood.

They are running a scam under the name of their warranty. My mechanic told me about right axle damage and since I had extended warranty, I took it to Lexus Of Englewood service center. It took them 2 days to just let me know that yes the axle is covered under warranty and can be replaced without any cost. I asked them to go ahead and 3 days later I was told to come collect the car. When I took the car back to my mechanic I was surprised to see that the axle was never replaced although I was given a lot of paperwork showing that it was done. I saw the damaged axle myself and took pictures as a proof. I was happy with my Lexus car but I will never be buying Lexus again only because of Lexus of Englewood service center.

Horrible experience they do not stand behind their products I purchased a Lexus RX 350 and got an extended warranty and the rim and tire warranty was told by them that if I sold my vehicle before five years I would get money back because the warranty was pro-rated, I sold the vehicle in one year, contacted the dealer and faxed them the warranty receipt, they said the dealer was sold to someone else, they didn't find records showing I made this purchase. Never again will I buy here again, made me change my opinion about my favorite vehicle brand

Terrible management skills! I have never seen a sales manager coming and saying, our dealer is the best dealer in number of sales around here. So if you wanna make a deal now and take this car next week once it comes in, then we will work on the numbers since the car you want is a very rare find. You wouldn t be able to retain your returning customers with this kind of manner whatsoever. If your dealer is the best dealer in this area, offer better customer service to keep those numbers and train your sales people so they can offer options first before heading to his manager in the middle of conversation. Very unprofessional!

I never review but I wanted to praise my salesperson, Jin Ha, as he knew I came in alone. An Asian woman at that. I did not want to get advantage of as I have always gone in with my dad or a male friend previous 2 times I leased with them. I did not want to fall into the bait and switch as the previous reviewer wrote. I told Jin I had no interest in that and he made me feel comfortable and at ease by calling in the GM, Chris, to talk to me directly. I was also downgrading from RX to NX to get a smaller car. They did not pressure me to stay with RX or put me in another car. They took care of my previous RX (had some bangs) and I was done in one afternoon. Thank you!

I had a disappointing experience with Lexus of Englewood last Saturday (4/24). I was uncomfortable walking into the dealership because it was packed with people with minimal social distancing and the salesperson assigned to me was not willing or unable to honor the quoted internet price due to some technicality. I left the dealership disappointed and the following day, I got up and decided to write a harsh review about my experience. As soon as my negative review was posted, DARCARS Lexus of Englewood reached out to me, but I wasn t interested because what could they possibly do? But with my wife s urging, since we still had to buy a new Lexus (We always had 1 Lexus and 1 something else), I stopped by on Wednesday (4/28) afternoon without an appointment to see if I can find someone else to match the internet price that was quoted to me.

Before I came back to Lexus of Englewood, I contacted every Lexus dealership around me (2 states and 75+ miles away) but no other dealer could match the price ($1500-$2000 MORE EXPENSIVE EVERYWHERE ELSE!) of Englewood and none had the inventory of DARCARS Lexus of Englewood (Most dealers only had a small number of cars in stock and one dealer even tried to sell me one that was still in Japan!). And we even stopped by a Mercedes dealer to see if we could buy something similar to the model that we were looking for. But we left disappointed because the SUVs we looked at were smaller, more expensive, had clunkier interior and didn t have the safety features that were standard in Lexus. (Not to mention Mercedes s poor reliability) The salesman that helped us was basically useless because most of his answers were something like We are Mercedes-Benzes, and we are better! (What does that have to do with lack of safety features?? And NO! they are not better)

I walked back into DARCARS Lexus of Englewood with some trepidation because I really didn t know what to expect. They could have treated me like an enemy and refuse to sell me anything or maybe (hopefully) they didn t care enough about my bad review to even notice me. As soon as I entered the show room, I was greeted by Joe (Grawehr), who is their Lexus Master Certified Sales/Internet manager, and he immediately checked the system to verify my quoted price and told me that I was good to go. He also gave me a good price on my trade in, which was right in the middle of Kelly Bluebook trade in value. Joe was very professional, helpful, friendly and I could tell that he knew what he was doing. So far so good because I thought that I could just buy a new car and get out without anyone noticing me, but I was wrong. Within minutes of Joe putting my name on the system, someone came down and identified himself as Chris (Vassallo), the general manager of DARCARS Lexus of Englewood. He immediately apologized for my poor experience on Saturday and addressed all my concerns. Wow! I am a nobody who just had one bad experience and wrote a negative review, and they could have treated me like a pond scum since I had to crawl back to them because of their price and inventory but I was treated like their most important customer. Wow! I was also impressed with Mr. Chris Vassallo because instead of sending someone else, he personally got involved, listened to my concerns, and addressed them right. Another wow! This has never happened to me in any car dealership before.

Anyway, Joe introduced me to another salesperson, Casey Vielee, since he was in middle of something before, I interrupted and Casey took care of me and within couple of hours, I drove out with a new Lexus with exact features and color (interior/exterior) that we were looking for. Casey was very helpful and friendly. I think he only recently started working for DARCARS Lexus of Englewood, but he has many years of experience at other dealers, and it showed because he was very professional and knowledgeable about cars.

I hope DARCAR Lexus of Englewood doesn t change because I want to come back every few years to buy few more Lexus(es?)

From the get go, James gave us the impression he is professional, thoughtful and knowledgeable. He learned our names and took the time to answer all the questions I had, even the negotiation process (which i hate) felt a little less painful with James. I love my new car and my positive experience at Englewood would have not been possible without James!

I visited several dealerships across Bergen County looking for a luxury midsize SUV or large sedan. Lexus of Englewood was by far one of the most accommodating and customer-friendly dealers I encountered. This is exemplified by our experience with our sales person: Mike Medeiros. Mike is personable, extremely knowledgeable about Lexus and its competitors, and took the time to listen to my price preferences and give me all of my options without ever being too pushy. He was very much accessible throughout the entire process and has continued to answer any questions I have had since taking my vehicle off the lot. I am thoroughly happy with my 2018 GS350 F-Sport and could not recommend Mike enough; hands down one of the best (if not the best) agent I worked with during my new vehicle search!

From the moment I arrived Xavier Torres was one of the most professional salesman I have had the pleasure to conduct business with. Not only did he know everything about the car I was buying but he was extremely knowledgeable about the warranties I was interested in. At no time did Xavier seem pushy or rush me for a sale.

Boby ran us in circles about nonsense for about an hour, when I repeatedly requested sn honest "out the door price" based on the advertisement presented.He would go and walk off to talk to his "manager"... and then come back with some more shady tactics to inflate the price Very scummy individuals. Not professional!
Took my credit card and would not return it. We went to a BMW dealership...the guy was upfront about all the cost and didn't try any dirty used car dealer tactics.

Just because they place an automobile online does not mean that they own the car. Very shifty. Also, do not put a downpayment on a car, they do not refund (still waiting after 5 weeks. Funny it only took 30 seconds to charge me. Would highly recommend you goto Ramsey, much more professional.

I had the worse experience with this dealership. I traded in my Lexus RX for a ES 300h. The process was smooth, I was able to pick up the car in two days. The major problem that I had was they never submitted the paper work to Lexus Financial. So for two months I had to pay for two cars! I contacted the dealership several times and the sales man that I worked with just told me Don t worry about it, these things take time! I had to constantly call and receive the same answer. Finally, my husband had to call and then they started the process to finish my paperwork and refund my money. The sad part is that I have to drive back to Englewood to complete paperwork that was already done and pick up my check. To make it even worse, I called the manager Eric several times and was sent to voicemail that is full. This dealership is extremely unprofessional and they are quick to take your car to resell it.

Wish I can give a negative star to this Weird place. Agreed to buy a car for certain price with minimal APR but when you actually visit the place. The management gives you all the reasons to say I am not qualified for minimal APR. When I did check the same with different Lexus Dealer they said there is no problem giving the minimal APR. DO NOT TRUST the MANAGEMENT WORDS, The conversation you have with them will have a different price and when it comes to paper work the price will be different.

Understanding that the dealers make money from servicing the leased vehicles, we were nailed with the typical items plus some.

The SUV operated and drove great. Having the oil changed the 1st 2 times for free, the 3rd time they nail you for $100+ so just go to valvoline for $35 or so.

The service also managed to claim that our alignment was off and failed their test. ($150 ). Mind you it drove straight and tires were perfect WITH ABSOLUTELY NO WEAR and we had no issues with. I Called to confront however noone returned our calls.
Then they threw in a few more items:
- Windshield wipers $15 each
- Cabin air filter $25
GET THIS
They even billed us for our key battery. Another $10+

TOTAL BILL $400 + for a trip we assumed would be an oil change on a SUV we lease.

WE DID CALL AND LEAVE A MESSAGE WITH THE MANAGER WHOM NEVER RETURNED OUR CALL.

WATER UNDER THE BRIDGE BUT POOR HANDLING AND JUST GIVING YOU A HEADS UP for that 3rd service call that they call you repeatedly for to schedule.

I said no I don t have that much money.. then he came up with old engine he got .. he said he can do $5500. He took me to mechanic, said same thing they all connected..cost me $200 just to open up the hood... & tell lie to me... i paid $200 have no choice they won t let me, take my car... after that went to local mechanic.. he checked my car & said ur radiator fan not working, I bought fan fr $140 & labor charge $80 total $220. I sold a pre-owned RX 350 to Lexus of Englewood over two months ago. Amir. the agent who negotiated the deal with me promised to have a check out to me in three-four days. A week later I inquired and he said, it usually takes two weeks. In two more weeks, I was told they paid off the loan and are waiting for the title to pay me the rest of the money. When I checked my TD Financial account, not only was the money not paid, but I was charged for an additional month of financing! When I brought that up, I was told (by Amir) that that couldn't be as they did pay the funds.
Two more weeks passed and nothing changed! I called TD again - they said they never got anything to this account. Finally, I got Amir and TD on a conference call and Amir decided to actually check what happened. They seemed to have sent the funds to some other account. When the dust finally settled - they did pay off the TD loan (45 days after I sold the car!), and sent me a check as well. Except they didn't pay the full amount. As of this writing I am still owed $367.50 and even when I do get a live person to talk to me at Lexus, after promising to call me back - they never do! Amir stopped taking my calls a long time ago. Wow! what a service. It's funny because the first time I got a car at that dealership was in 1990 or so. I guess some things just rot after a while. Maxim

This place is like a circus you have a scheduled appointment the salesman shows up 30 minutes later and is seen walking around with a license plate in his had walking back and forth , once you do get the see the car it s a two minute test drive and your shown a totally different price and then they try to sell you a 2400 b/s warranty and hit you with a $1,999 cert fee so once it s all set and done a 24,000 car will cost you close to 32,000 I guess you guys think I was born yesterday , I wasted two hours of my day

TERRIBLE awful buying experience. They are liars and the most sleezy car salespeople so much so it will nauseated you. The lines they use to make you feel guilty as if they are doing you a favor. If you try to bargain for a better price they will tell you you are being unethical. They are crooks. They tried to sell me a car for more money than they actually advertised lol they didn't know what price they advertise. This is not a lexus experience this is a Suzuki experience. You won't get a good deal at this place, you will get ripped off and talked down to. And their manager is the biggest douche bag of them all.

Hello I recently had the pleasure of visiting this particular Lexus dealership on December 22nd. I was in the area and decided to look at the new 2021 line up of cars. I was in a lease with a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee at the time and was browsing around to make the switch to a car rather than SUV. Upon my visit my sales representative Romeo Deluca asked what I was looking for and immediately recommended a test drive of the new 2021 IS350 AWD FSPORT. He immediately got the car from the lot and we went for a test drive. The car delivered everything I had asked for. So naturally I fell in love with the vehicle, and explained to Romeo my dilemma with the Jeep lease. Romeo told me I ll see what I can do but I ll try and make it work. Fast forward to the end not only was Romeo able to get me out of my current lease, but he was also able to keep the payments of the new car at an affordable rate which was absolutely amazing. The best part was i wasn t stuck in the dealership for 5 hours like the usual visits go. I was in and out in under 2 hours. Greatest experience I have had at a dealership in a long time. Would definitely recommend Romeo Deluca and this Lexus dealership to all!

Two reasons for 1 star (I will surely give 0 star if possible).

1. Website lists a Lexus certified vehicle for a certain price. When you get to the dealership they tell you it is an additional $1400 to get it actually certified. What a BS. I've bought close to 10 cars, ALL CPOs from different manufacturers, and it is my first time to encounter this. This was an immediate turn-off for me, but seeing that the car was not available elsewhere, I made the purchase anyway. They did waive this for me as I requested, but this should NOT have happened in the 1st place. This is NOT miscommunication, this is intentional dishonesty in pricing. If you list the car as CPO, the price SHOULD include the Lexus certification. If you think the certification increases costs to the dealer, then increase the price on your listings accordingly.

2. Here is what is going to happen when you have a problem with your purchase (in my case - a missing piece in the interior):
-You contact the salesman, and he tells you he would be working on it.
-You contact the salesman weeks later, get NO response, so call in only to be told that the salesman no longer works there.
-You contact the manager, he tells you he would be working on it.
-You follow up again couple days later, and the manager tells you he is too busy with something else to deal with your matter.
-You wait for months, get NO response.
-At this point you have no choice but to escalate this to Lexus Corporate, and then wait for another indefinite amount of time for Lexus of Englewood to respond.

My experience with a Lexus dealer back in Georgia was night and day better than Lexus of Englewood. I have loved the Lexus brand and had faith in it, but Lexus of Englewood is causing me to lose it.

EDIT: Upon reading other reviews, I see they're still charging extra for CPO that's not disclosed upfront. I don't know how many people have falled into this trap without knowing. I will be reporting this unethical practice to Lexus Corporate and DARCARS. Unbelievable.

Very disappointed with their service.
I brought my car in to have a complimentary oil change service. After hours, the manager, service representative came to me and told me that my car was damaged after they finished the service. My rear bumper was totally racked. They apologized that this happened and they promised to repair the damage on their expense ( of course ).... Since I had to return to California for a end of year trip, I told them I would come back in 2 weeks to have my car repaired, When I came back to NY and called them to bring my car to repair, they never answered my phone calls ( 5 calls and 4 Voice mails ) and never responded to my emails ( 3 emails ). I was so frustrated and after 4 -5 days later, they called me saying they were busy..... ( oh yeah.... then I am not the busy one ... huh ? )
Anyway, they repair process was frustrating when dealing with the service team and the manager whom I asked several times to talk to was never available.... maybe she didn't want to deal with me as the repair was done.
Bottom line is that they whole process of repair, customer service and how they handle the customers car in the service center was absolutely disappointing and now I know why people go to chose Merc or Bimmer over Lexus....
I would not recommend this dealership to any of my family or friends.

If you want to experience the worst service or if you want to ruin your day or week, please try this Englewood Lexus.

I called GM, Sales, Finance manger, accounting person and left numerous messages and never responded me back. Never recommended to anyone and stay away.
