Horrible Dealership for pre owned after the purchase is done, have been trying to cancel my warranty for 2 days.

I was there dropping off a car some blonde heavyset lady treated me Like a second class citizen may because I'm Hispanic And I don't wear a suit that'. I got the manager Chad Kunz He was much pleasant to deal with then the heavyset blond lady so if anyone ever sees her run... All my post and reviews are positive sorry just thought people where better then that this day in age. . She is definitely a trump supporter if you know what I mean lol.... One last thing the cashier wasn't any better someone need to tell her to cover her breast when she's working that's unprofessional..
I am never going to service my car here again. I schedule appointment everytime and they make me wait for 2 to 4 hrs everytime. This time i made an appointment for 2:30, it was 4pm and my vehicle was sitting in the parking lot. I got frustrated and demanded my vehicle back leaving me with unmaintained vehicle and a loss of day. There all smiles and service front of your face in front of money. Im never going here again.
Since Mr. Ramos left this service company and moved to a different Lexus service. The service here started to get worse, body shop department is even worse. I don't feel like coming back to this branch.

There's no parking for customers.
Everything is so narrow and small.
The 'floor' area with all the salesmen's desks looks like a police precinct.

Leased 1 car from them about a year ago. Upon delivery they told me " a chain snapped and sratched the front" the "scratch" was showing primer/bare bumper no paint. I was assured the whole bumper was going to be stripped and repainded, this was not the case. They put some touch up and gave it back. I made them redo and it was even worse, the color isnt the same and they did not do all the steps required (took it to Route 17 lexus and another body shop and both assured me it was a horrible cheap job) the paint came off in the snow storm the salt must have dissolved it idk.... --- On another note their sales staff is racist, when I walked in to inquire about another car being that I am a hispanic male one of the salesman did not hesitate to tell me "are you sure you're at the right dealership I can point you out to the used car lot" so I decided to go to Mercedes and they helped me out. STAY AWAY GO TO ROUTE 17 THEY ARE CHEAPER AND WAY MORE RESPECTFUL ENGLEWOOD LEXUS IS HORRID
What is going on at this dealership?! I have a lease that is ending on 11/4. I ve called multiple times and keep getting transferred to a different persons voicemail. I finally told them today that I need to speak to someone as I am interested in buying the vehicle. The finance manager was abrupt and rude. He told me that they are in the middle of an audit and that I cannot make an appointment for this week or next. He is unsure how long the audit will take. I asked him what I should do as my lease is up in 12 days. I was told to go to another dealership?! I asked to speak to the dealership manager and was disconnected.
I ve driven a Lexus since 2007. This is by far the worst service I have ever received. I m tempted to give my business elsewhere.

Steven Ocampo is a very decent guy. He is the salesperson I dealt with. Donovan Lau is a very decent guy (Finance manager).
However, beware of the lower level finance guys. Charlie & Mitch. They are to be dealt with extreme caution, and will twist the numbers (aka TOTALLY lie to your face). Mitch especially. He was outright deceptive, rude, and dismissive. I called him on his deceptiveness, and he became frustrated & condescending. Good thing I know what I'm talking about when it comes to leasing otherwise would be paying $26/month more than I should be.
If it wasn't for Donovan & Steven, I would have walked out after meeting Mitch.
In the end, I got a good price because I did my homework. But if it was up to Mitch & Charlie (another finance guy) then I would have been scammed out of $1400+.
Never lease a car based on how much you can afford. Settle on a sale price as if you were buying the car. Then plug the numbers into a 3rd party lease calculator (available on Edmunds, Yahoo, Bankrate, etc). If the numbers don't add up, then don't sign the contract.
I came to Lexus of Englewood because I was stopped in front of it while waiting for a red light. When I walked in, I saw Roy Morris sitting at his desk and he introduced himself and the conversation began from there. Roy was extremely friendly and very easy to work with. He made sure everything was right and made the deal happen! I have never been more happy buying a car, and I don't think that I will go elsewhere in the future...I definitely will be back when it's time for a new car.
Rudy, in finance, was a pleasure to work with. He made the deal happen for me, and I couldn't have been more elated to know that everything was taken care of by him. He even gave my fiance 2 coffee mugs!
I called and asked for information on a GS350 that was on the lot. I was asked to come in so they could evaluate my trade in and put a deal together. I was asked to come in at 1PM the next day. I showed up and the sales person was very nice and said the car was not there yet for me to see. 45 mins later and the sales person said the car was outside. I checked it out and clearly it was in an accident. The safety sensor system was not working saying to bring it to the dealer. The front bumper was not aligned properly and had scratches all over it. They offered me another color car and I refused. While this all was going on they were supposed to be looking at my trade. When I was ready to leave, the manager never came to see me and never apologized for the car being damaged. The sales person said they couldn't do a deal with me anyway because my car did not have navigation. My car did have navigation and it just showed they didn't really look at the car or care to do the trade in. My sales person was good, but I can see these guys are your typical scammer dealer. They will tell you anything to get you in. It was the worst experience of any dealer I have every went to. I drove 40 miles to come here and it was a total waste of time. Avoid this dealer at all costs and I wish I had read the reviews before going.
Worse place to go to, they find ways to scam you using the warranty and charge your extra even after you return the car, I was charged extra even after return my car. Do not lease and return your car there. They will find ways to mess with it and you will get charge for it. Poor customer service manager Alieen and never result your issue.

Bait & Switch is the best description of this dealership. First, when I asked them for a breakdown of the money they required to make the deal I noticed they made a $500 mistake in their favor. After they corrected I then asked, "what's this $2995.00"? They said its for the Lexus certification. I then showed them their advertisement that stated that the car included the Lexus certification. They then said the online advertisement was wrong. I began to walk out when a manager asked, "how can I earn your business?" I told him, "try being honest, I'm done!" and I walked out.

Bin few months now still enjoying my Lexus RX350 as my first day, Had a pleasure working with Sales Person Nenad. It was such a refreshing experience dealing with him can't thank him enough, very honest and straight forward gentleman.
Total waste of time. As my Lexus lease is coming to an end they keep sending me customized offers that are just a ploy to get you into the dealership and then once there they hit you with ridiculous pricing.
I returned back to Lexus of Englewood because my wife wanted to look at a sure car over what I was then driving (2017 Rogue). I had been a prior customer of three autos from this same dealer. She looked at Mercedes but wasn t sure. Then we went back to Lexus of Englewood and met (by chance) salesman Juan Tamayo. We looked in the service car area first because we wanted a fairly new auto with low mileage. Enter Juan. We asked for his assistance and he turned out to be quit intelligent and knowledgeable in the Lexus product(s). He took his time to explain features and answered our every question. And since he is bilingual, I asked if he could speak in Spanish so that my wife could understand more clearly what he was explaining to us. This worked out tremendously. Juan took his time in explaining the benefits of leasing new and/or buying. Mind you, we went there just to scout inventory and we walked out (drove out) with a brand new 2019 RX350. My wife and I are very appreciative of Juan s help and assistance when we needed to decide and it worked for the better. We are very happy with our our purchase and my wife is very happy which is most important to me. I thank Juan for this. He built a good repour with my wife and she can be difficult. Outstanding young man and we re happy and greatful to have met him. Best wishes to Juan Tamayo in his career with Lexus of Englewood. We look forward to speaking with him again in the future.

I went to buy a car at another near Lexus dealer and though the ambience was very pretty good the sales man was very pushy and had a very bad attitude.But when I went to these folks they were really interested to have me as a customer and sold the car at my price after tough negotiations. Though there were teething issues they along with lexus had resolved them and made me comfortable.
I am a very picky guy in going to the minutest details such as vibrations , warranty issues, performance etc and whenever I go to them they handle me with care and make drive happy. I only dealt with Mike Ramos and Bobby. Mike Ramos is a technically sound guy and tough guy on warranties ;-) but I like talking to such knowledgable guy as he knows in and out of the car and provides an apt service.
Knowing about their sales and service capabilities , I had referred my friend to buy a lexus from them. She too is happy with them. Rudy Myrie from Accounting and Maxx at Sales side are the best folks I have ever met. They deal with a nice warm smile and are serious in doing business with us.
Raul in sales, was lovely and he made the purchase easy. So did Dominic in the financial area. I can t remember the name of the person in technology but she was also fantastic and did a great job explaining all the new technology my car has to offer. This has been by far my best experience with a dealership. I highly recommend Lexus of Englewood.

Negative rating of minus 5. They made a car lease deal with us on Saturday with all paper work, took advance and supposed to send the car on Monday. We never received the car; when we called back to check they pressurized us to pay more money towards the lease and they told us that they will never return our advance. BEWARE of this dealership!! They are fake ppl and scammers! They will ask for more money even once you get into the deal with them if you deny or break the deal, they will not return your advance. Never go there, we have filed the fraudulent complaint against Sales manager ERIC KIM. He did hard check on our credit, did all the documentation, kept our advance payment and never send the car instead kept asking to increase our lease price. Zero customer service and scammers!
Ok, so here is my experience for a 2nd time around. I actually didnt think we would walk out of Lexus of Englewood as satisified as we were, but we did AGAIN!! Anyway, here it goes, around 9 months ago, we purchased a used 2009 LX570, and our sales guy was Joe Kandil. We had purchased such a large SUV because we had recently had a baby, and thought we would need all that room, well we loved that LX570, but the truth is, we honestly didnt use it as much as we thought we would. So now, our oldest daughter is starting college, and she can not drive that large SUV, so now we were wondering how we could trade in this SUV we just purchased 9 months ago, to get a smaller vehicle for our daugher to also use to get to college.
So I email Joe Kandil, telling him, we would really like to get into a Lexus CT 200h 2013 (which gets 40+ MPG) , but we dont know how upside down we would be with the LX570. He emails me back saying, "come in and lets see if we can work out a deal" So we did, not thinking he would ever come up with such a wonderful option. so........ I came in, with a trade in hoping for the best, and after about an hour of negotiating, Joe Kandil, along with Mitch Patlock, came up with a generous trade in value, I was able to get into this Lexus CT 200h for 299/month, just like their advertisement offers. I didnt feel presured throughout the negotiating. Everyone answered my questions and allowed me to say exactly what I needed to make up my mind to sign and leave with my new CT 200h.
If you want to be treated with respect, in a professional environment with classy people, go to Lexus of Englewood, and ask for Joe Kandil, he will make you feel comfortable, and try his best to get you into the car you want without all the pressure that comes with buying or leasing a car. Joe is personable, and easy to talk to. I will definetly go back when my lease is up, and I will definetly ALWAYS ask for Joe. He is one of a kind sales guy!!!! My husband and I are very happy with our CT200h, the car is awesome especially with this 40+MPG.

This dealership has filed bankruptcy. They have taken people s deposits and have not paid off car loans and do not have any idea when they will pay back their clients! Meanwhile, if you have traded in a car and still owe money to the bank, you will need to continue paying off your loan. HOWEVER, Lexus of Englewood are still accepting new customers under a new owner but same people work there and the same voice mail service recording bragging about awards they have received. What a scam! I thought and expected more from a prestigious brand like Lexus. Do not go to this Lexus!

I had a 5 star review on Lexus when I first purchased my car, but now I am downgrading it to 1 or zero if I can. These guys are fraudulent sales people and there is absolute terrible after sale customer service. They are dishonest and they were dishonest to me about the car issues. I have been facing problems ever since I bought my BMW X5 and they give me a hard time to fix it just because I didn't purchase the extended warranty. I purchased the car on Dec 2017 and every time I had a problem I visited Lexus of Englewood and they fixed one problem for me and the other they told me that everything is fine. So I believed them, until I took the car to check it at BMW and that when all the failures burst the reality to me. The car currently has many leak failures that they ignored, other than their rude way of overcoming your frustration. Don't buy from them, I changed my review from 5 to 1 or zero if I can. They are already doing very bad business and they will do anything for you to buy a car. Sales people I dealt with: Juliet, Mitch, and Victoria and John. Do your due diligence before you buy the car. Oh and they will add $2000 to your car, for the costs of fixing and running checks on your car , don't pay that, its just a way to make money so low key from LEXUS!!! Watch their sales strategies carefully.

Made an appointment about 4 weeks in advance to get my ES serviced due to fuel pump recall. I explicitly wrote down my reason for the visit while setting up the appointment. But when I visited the service center and after couple hours of wait I was told they don't have parts in their inventory and need to order them. They told me I'll be notified when they receive the part but it's been already over 3 weeks and no call.
Purchased 3 cars from this dealership but extremely disappointed. My next Lexus purchase and service will be from another dealer.
EDIT: So I was told by my friends that the dealership's management/owner has changed. If true, kinda explains why their overall service quality went down.

I just leased a new NX from John Lee, it was my the best experience to work with John Lee, so nice and enjoyable, and simple. super highly recommend work with John Lee. To get this NX, I went to route 10, bridgewater, and edison lexus, previous dealers kept on giving me high quote and hard time going back to mangers without any progress and they just tried to convince me that their number is reasonable, and I am a such a greedy customer asking for too much. but with John Lee, everything was just straight forward, simple, and smooth. there is no waiting or drama. just talk to him what I wanted and got me with the best deal and just sign and drove home with NX. just call him from englewood lexus, and ask for John Lee. there is no

Worst dealer ever!
On Oct 2nd, I traded in my vehicle lexus rx and got new lexus rx 2020. They said they were going to pay off my loan within a few days. It has been over a month now. And I got charged late fee chase was about to report to credit bureau. On Oct 30th, I stopped by lexus of englewood and found out they're under chapter 11. I had to meet finance advisor, Daniel in the lexus dealer. He doesn't know when they going to pay off my loan($30403.08). ON OCT 27th, they filed bankrupcy. I dont know when they going to pay for the traded-in vehicle. I can't afford to pay two loans every month. It is about $2000. As a long time lexus fan, I'm so frustrated ... the way lexus of englewood dealer handle my situation is very unprofessional. Now I'm trying to find lawyers and also I called lexus corporation more than 10 times hoping lexus corporation to step up to help my situation but the lexus corporation said each dealer is independent so the lexus corporation said they cant help my situation. I can't really find resolution now. This is ridiculous. They're the ones who didn't keep the promise but they don't care.

Mateo & Max from the preowned department are nothing but liars, my brother in law and I Abimael Rosado, went to purchase a Porsche Panamera, the car had a broken button for the AC Unit, told us they had already order it and will have it install at no cost. But after a few weeks they told us they WILL NOT BUY THE button because it was too expensive! Wasted my time of going 5 times to the dealer always with different story. We currently have a lease on a Gs 460 can't wait to turn it back in. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. ESPECIALLY FROM MAX & MATEO. We are escalating this matter to upper management at their main building. I am a Lexus guy. I own an older IS 300. I love that car. But it is old now and I have been thinking real hard about getting the new IS 300 F. However it doesn't come with manual transmission so I am really not too crazy at a sports sedan that has an automatic transmission.
Nothing is better then when I hit the gears and taking off in my little red Lexus.
Today I went in to look again and talk myself out of buying it holding out hope Lexus will come to their senses and bring back a 6 speed.
The salesman Nenad made it real hard for me to go home without walking out with a new IS.
He didn't push me hard but he was helpful and friendly. He made the effort to come and help me and when I am ready to give up on my dream of a 6 speed IS I will definitely be buying from him.

Sold my car and was told to receive a check in a week. After 3 weeks of constantly following up, I had to finally go back to the dealership and got a check. Their check bounced back and I ended up waiting for another week until my bank finally could collect the money from their account.

Leased a vehicle that was advertised Certified Pre-Owned Lexus from this dealer. However, the car was never inspected or certified. It had all four brakes rotted, four bad tires, bent rim, and a broken steering assembly. Steering would stick in one direction. Took four visits to the service department to finally get them to fix it. All within two months of leasing the car. The car was advertised as Pre-Certified, when it was not. All communications to dealership owners and management went ignored. After 30 years of patronage, my family will never use this dealer again. I was even forced to pay a lease termination fee when I didn t want another car from this dealer, even after being leased a car that was falsely advertised to be Certified. Would not recommend.

So I visit this dealer at Englewood n.j. from n.y. for a used 2016 limited Subaru. So after going threw all documents robbing you fee which was said to be $495.00 but you get there it becomes $1,100.00 lol i kist want to buy a car .Anyhow after spending hours working a deal. I step into the $$$ office to then walk off 5min after sitting down. Upset that my # $$# changed the Financial Manager took it upon himself to try to scam me from my original numbers that was discussed with the sales consultant so why he thought my trade was worth nothing.luck me for getting less for my trade When it was said and done before entering the $$$ office I was expected to finance from $17 to $18,000 instead I see myself financing $20,000. Where do you come out with an extra $2000/$3000.00 ?from ? ...oh let me guess documentation fee. If you tell someone that you're charging a 495 documentation fee and then you turn around and try to charge a $1,100 documentation fee. Like really! How much ink can u use.?...lol head up... the service was great the test drive was good the vehicle was nicely presented nevertheless when it came to the financial office thumps down! please be careful. Wake aware take your time make sure that your #$$$# numbers are the same from what you spoke about woth sale rep .Make sure all the numbers you spoke about before you went into this financial management corrupt candy and water they offer to make you sleep watch yourself heads up and good luck. 4hrs of waste. But happy to have walk away. Thankfully the reviews have shown me more.... Max and Mateo... Oh and jelly bean finance officer who blew it up.... la cacaste
Did not feel welcomed coming into the dealer. I was looking forward to lease a IS350 and it didn t go as planned. The sales man I was talking to was great guy but when it came down to my payments he called another man over and it sounded like he didn t want to sell me the car to begin with. He was rude and did not let me get a chance to speak. I wouldn t recommend Lexus of Englewood.

Our experience at Lexus of Englewood could not have been better. Our sales rep, Tae was incredibly helpful throughout the process. He was attentive, responsiveness and true to his word from the moment we started working with him. I ve had a few cars in the past and never really cared for the sales reps but Tae is different. I couldn t recommend more!
Contacted the dealership about a car they have listed online and asked what the out the door price would be including all fees for the state of NJ. The dealership called me back and told me they do not give out the door prices over the phone or email and I would have to come to their dealership to find out what their fees are in person. To make things worse, The internet manager, John Stevenson, text me from his personal phone telling me I should come into his dealership to take a look at the vehicle but wouldn't tell me what their fees are. I would steer clear from this dealership as they're obviously charging exorbitant and unnecessary fees for their vehicles. Dealership, If you do decide to respond to my review, please let these potential buyers, who are reading this review, know what ALL of your fees are. Thanks for wasting my time.
If i can give zero stars I would. DO NOT purchase a car from this dealership or get your car serviced. Do not I repeat DO NOT GET your car serviced here OR purchase a car. I don't understand why I can't receive simple updates on my car when it has been a week. This department/dealership/ DARCARS holds 0 accountability and I will never come back here and let my community know as well.

Scheduled an appointment with Jin Ha to see what he can offer for the UX250H. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the car he was selling. Showed me what all the buttons did on the vehicle and what the different drive options would do to change how the car drives during our test drive. Jin Ha was good at working out the numbers for the deal to meet my needs, and I didn't feel rushed at all. Very passionate, knowledgeable and honest salesman + dealership if you're looking to buy/lease a lexus.
