The techs were nice and courteous, however they company pushes memberships and packages. I do not agree with this, as is pushes them to be sales people and not down to earth techs. I couldn't get a straight answer on the issue or a best course of action/best practice, only a booklet being shown to me with 3 different packages to proceed. It made the techs appear un-knowledgeable and dropped my confidence with them. I had another company come out to get a second opinion and they were very technical and answered every question in detail as well as offered thorough solutions. Found out there was several leaks and the system was not installed correctly to begin with (another company 6 yrs ago), and there was oil around the outside unit and drips on the inside unit. These issues were not pointed out by Jon Wayne Techs. The new company did not charge to check the unit over or to visit and when we told them we paid 100/lb coolant (500 total) they were shocked as they only charge 50. This whole ac unit issue has been such an ordeal. I just wish we could get back good old fashion AC techs and not have them pushing packages and memberships to "save"...

Andrew provided a very detailed proposalto replace my HVAC. He took me step by step of what they would do.
I came away quite educated on what would be done.

I had an estimate for some work. Odds are that I will have it done. There were some technical issues that I did not foresee.

The company was able to offer me same day service. Dylan was my service advisor. He was on time and very professional. He explained the problem with my AC and gave me several options for resolving the issue. He clearly explained the benefits and limitations to my options. I highly recommend.

Marco was thorough, attentive, and helpful in his service and tune-up of our units. Gave me a peace-of-mind about the condition and performance of our system. John Wayne company has procedures in place to be considerate of keeping our house clean when they are working inside the house. Well done, keep up the good work.

I just wanted to put in a review to express the pleasure and satisfaction I had working with Jon Wayne Service CO in San Antonio. From the time they came out for initial visit, Able was very helpful and his great customer service and knowledge sealed the deal for me to do business with them. Able, Tony, and Andrew showed me different options with my budget in mind and didn't pressure me at any point. He made it so easy and answered every question I had. I didn't feel like I was getting a company answer but the truth. The installation was real quick and professional. I have never worked with such customer oriented professionals whose mission is to serve the client. Not only that, but Jon Wayne's work was excellent, had great communication and were always friendly.

I will gladly serve as a reference for them anytime and recommend that everyone do business with them. Once again Able was AWESOME!

Great service great tech Ruben was here on time and took care of repair and explained what he was doing finished in a timely manner. He was friendly and professional.

Service requested: Installation of an entire home generator. Representative Elpedio was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He examined our property and determined the size of generator required to meet our needs. He then worked diligently to assist us in securing financing for the project. Elpedio also explained what to expect, providing in-depth explanations, timelines, and answering questions. The pre-work assessment visit went very well. We will provide further review upon completion of the project, but the expectation is all will go well based on Elpedio s initial representation of the company.

When Jacob M came out to evaluate what we had he was professional and courteous. He let us know that the system we had was too big for our size home and gave us options and was honest about what would happen if we just did a repair. The install team came the next day and did an awesome job. These guys know their business. I know not everyone can have a good experience with certain companies especially when your told you need a new compatible system that's takes a couple grand out of your pocket but we did. All thanks to my dog who took a couple of bites out of the copper piping. I was mad but glad it happened sooner than later. I did block his access the the outside unit.

They were able to schedule on short notice. The technician, Bryan, was able to evaluate our system and recommend several options to address issues with our HVAC. Based on what he recommended we ended up going with the least intervention - there was no upselling at all! I really appreciated his honesty and professionalism

Older house needed a new HVAC system. I called they showed up when I wanted them for the inspection and quote. Brought a crew in with the new equipment and had it installed, programmed and working all in one day. Everyone that came to the house was very professional and polite. Top notch service.

Received a call from dispatch to verify my appointment time and gave me an estimated arrival time of the technician. Chris arrived promptly during the appointment time. He was extremely knowledgeable in residential plumbing issues and fixed my drain issue with in a couple minutes. He also gave me a couple tips for the future to help save money before I would have to call for a service. He was extremely courteous not only to me but also with his equipment in ensuring that he did not bring in any trash or debris from outside with his equipment. I would definitely recommend Jon Wayne services and I will use them again for future needs.

Everyone at Jon Wayne is so friendly. Making appointments is easy and they always call to let you know that they are on their way. The electrician and plumber I had at the house yesterday were both very knowledgeable and friendly - they go above and beyond to explain things to you so you understand why the work they are doing is being done. Ever since starting to use Jon Wayne for our plumbing, electrical, and HVAC service and repair, I have had no regrets and my experiences have been equally good.

I had the immense pleasure of having Tony Ruiz help me with an electrical issue involving a light fixture that had broken. He was honestly the most efficient, knowledgeable, and most importantly, kindest person that I ve met in a while. He fixed my issue immediately and helped with another electrical issue I had as well, and it s evident he goes above and beyond for his clients. Jon Wayne has been a lifesaver in my home owning journey, and I m especially grateful that I met and will continue to work with Tony and the rest of the amazing Jon Wayne team!!

Tech Ian was able to look at the sink and find the link and provide recommendations for fixing. Unfortunately, not fixed due it being the faucet and this will require an additional service call for it to be fixed once a new faucet is purchased.

I am finally cold after three weeks of air conditioner slowly losing effectiveness and high temps outside. They stayed until the job was done even until late at night. Friendly and knowledgeable.

They failed to schedule my semi-annual inspection, good thing I called when I found the condensation line blocked . They also failed to notify me of the renewal for my annual service contract - but they did honor the renewal because it wasn't 30 days expired. The technician took 5 hours chasing down a leak in the 2 year old system. Wasn't able to find it, so he added freon and they rescheduled for next week for another technician to come out. Not really satisfied with their service after having them replace both units two years ago.

The best customer service and attention to detail I have ever come across. From the ladies that answered my calls to the guys that came out to perform the work, they were all amazing. We had electrical issues and after thorough research the problem was identified. We also had problems with the time it was taking to get hot water. The water heater was the culprit and we were given many options on repair solution. Tony is very professional and was thorough in explaining problems and solutions. Great job by the electrician and water heater installers. All work was completed the same day!

After only our first experience with Jon Wayne we knew we had a company we could count on. I called the company a few months back when my elderly parents home needed plumbing repairs. Since I live in another city I needed to speak to the repair man first to explain that my mother also has dementia. He did an amazing job being patient with my parents and taking the time to explain the repair. Fast forward to yesterday I called the company again but this time for an electrical issues at my parents house. Again they did a great job communicating with me long distance about the repairs and doing a great job fixing the issue.

The tech that came out was professional. Explained what he did and what I need to do to keep my HVAC system in hood running condition. This was my first time dealing with John Wayne and I am very pleased.

I had give them positive review until we discovered the technician didn't know soaker hose from regular yard hose, cut our hose and didn't tell me or my brother what he did until I called request to speak to manager. Instead the technician called me stating there was no water coming out but in one area and that's why he cut my brand new soaker hose. I have been waiting 5 days now for a manager to get back with, have numerous of times left messages. My patients has been worn out, I will stop referring my family and friends to use Jon Wayne and will be canceling service agreement as well, they have shown me they don't value my property or addressing my concerns.

Had 8-12 window, arrived at 1, had to go get parts, didn't finish until 4pm. Very nice Technician, safe, clean, and knowledgeable. Although I was kept informed he was running late, I feel y'all need to work on punctuality. Don't overlook your staff and send them with the proper parts!

I called Jon Wayne when our heater quit working. They sent Jacob out to diagnose the problem. He determined it was a faulty blower motor. Jacob had one on the truck and had our heater up and running in no time. As a repeat customer, we couldn't be happier with the service we've received fro Jon Wayne.

Requested a quote to replace hot water heaters, install recirculation pump, and water softener.

Hard to find a good A/C company that is going to be in business when stuff breaks! That is the risk with small companies, but you also get what you pay for. That being said I am happy to have found John Wayne after the disaster of 5 years stuck with another company here in town.

To start they called and were able to show up e as earlier than the appointment time, invaluable when it comes to Texas weather.

The two gentlemen who came thoroughly checked our system and provided a range of option from a band aid to a new system (mine is old enough so it wasn't the standard YOU NEED a new unit you get from less reputable companies). The fact the cheapest option was labeled band aid as it gave me a giggle. Anyway I chose my option, they took care of fixing the issue (leaking coils) and installed a new UV light system since my previous company forgot to do it I guess (not did they install to code).

If you can't tell I have had horrible experiences in the past with other big name companies here in San Antonio so I am extremely picky when it comes to air conditioning companies and these guys deserved their 5 stars.

The best part is they have an annual program that you can opt in or out of that saves you on any repairs for the year covered, and includes a system tune up (which I believe is a must each year and usually costs more than their annual plan).

All in all This is best large and reputable air conditioning company in town hands down.

Jon Wayne hasn't let us down! We were referred to them by a family member and we are so pleased with their service. They have honest, friendly and courteous technicians, and their office team is just as good. We're given multiple options on the work to be done and pricing packages we can pick from and they havr financing too. We don't plan on using any other company again!

Great professional service, very knowledgeable, and reliable

Dispatcher and HVAC Technician were both friendly and professional. Prompt service within the appointment window given. Repair was fast and resulted in an immediate improvement. I like that the various options for the repair were broken out into a range from the most basic repair to upgraded repairs with extended warranties.

I had Jon Wayne come out for my annual AC check up, and Mike the technician was very through. He explained everything to me each step of the way. Mike made sure the AC and Heat system we working correctly, safely, on the inside and outside of the house. He gave me suggestions to make the system last longer and works as efficient as possible. I am glad I am a Classic member of Jon Wayne. Everyone is always pleasant and professional, from the phone calls to the technician wearing the shoe covers. Calling Jon Wayne is the best call to make! Mr. Ruben Moreno delivered an outstanding customer service experience during this visit. He was open to my questions about the ac unit he serviced. I do not know anything about ac's but he brought the information to me in a language I can understand. He made it so simple to me. Thank you! He took his time to make sure we understand the Jon Wayne process and gave us a trusting environment in the conversations. Yes, trust is very important to us. We are glad that we started with a maintenance plan, we believe that Jon Wayne got our back now to keep our house ac's running very well. Highly recommended.

Carlo was an amazing technician and was very efficient and informative the entire time he was working on our ac. He explained to us the issue and the steps he would take to solve it. My mother had a consultation visit with Andrew. He checked the AC unit outside and said it was in bad condition and that our air ducts looked good. He did not give a good estimate and just said that it would take thousands to fix. My brother was in town and took a look at it. He does not have an HVAC, however with a few YouTube videos, he was able to fix our AC. The only thing that was wrong was that there was buildup on the coils. It was a $25 fix. It is unfortunate that Jon Wayne is taking advantage of people, especially in a global pandemic. Please get a second opinion before you choose to work with them.

We called to have our A/C unit inspected and serviced. Merlanda was very courteous and professional. She scheduled the service for the next day and followed up the next morning to confirm the appointment. Our technician Rudy was on time, answered my questions and was also friendly and professional. Rudy did a great job repairing and cleaning the unit. I would recommend Jon Wayne and will use them in the future

He is very courteous and most certainly customer service oriented. He explained, as well as executed each step and process in terms that you can Truly understand. Technician was very professional and did everything he could to follow all heath directives while working on our equipment. Their initial visit and estimating and diagnosis fee is a great value! He spent a lot of time going all through out our system and getting up in the attic I m looking at our ductwork and I can t believe the initial visit was so cheap. We have a lot that we need done and it s going to be very costly but I feel that the price they gave us is extremely fair and they offer a great financing which makes it very affordable! I highly recommend them.
