I scheduled a free estimate online to put an extra...

I scheduled a free estimate online to put an extra outlet in my house. The website allowed me to select a date, and a time period that would work for my schedule. About 30 minutes after I scheduled the appointment, I received a phone call saying that the days scheduled was actually not available. Because of this, I was scheduled for the following Saturday between 8 and 12. At about 11, I received a phone call saying they were 3 hours behind. This information would've been helpful earlier as I shifted my entire schedule for my day around the morning appointment. Anyways, they asked if I was free in the afternoon between 2 and 3. I said I was. They also said they would call later when they were 30 minutes out, or to give me an update if they weren't going to make that time. It's now 3:30 and still no electrician, or phone call. I'd stay away from this company.

I called after being told they are more expensive, by no means was I disappointed! Very competitive prices, but the knowledge of these professionals is outstanding. Great piece of mind. I highly recommend them. From here forward I won t use ANYONE ELSE!

Requested John Wayne to provide a home advisor consultation to advise what on re-balancing options for our HVAC system to eliminate hot and cold spots. There was a slight mix-up with the originally planned time and service but they were able to send two technicians to perform diagnostics on our system. The technicians were professional, thorough and clearly explained their observations and recommendations.

My blower motor was wired wrong and fried my thermostat when powered up. They bandaid it up and my blower motor stayed running even when it was not calling for it. It took them almost a week to get a new motor and wire harness and now my heater not working. This is the fourth time a tec is coming out . Hope they fix it right this time.

We purchased a house in need of a new AC and heating unit, my first call and only call was to Jon Wayne - which was the right decision. I scheduled a convenient appointment for a Saturday and Jake Pettit was promptly on time. He explained everything thoroughly and didn't try to pressure or push a sale once. One of the best visits I've had from a service company!

The following Monday they were there to install, friendly, professional, and courteous.

Jon Wayne Service Company provided top-notch service on both occasions I called upon them for help with my two AC units. Cliff and Coby initially responded, and they arrived promptly and were very professional. They wore masks and boot covers the entire time as they went straight to work until they found the problem. They offered several repair options which included short and long-term remedies based on what was affordable for me at the time. Their recommendation for the Rescue Club was a good one especially since I did have to call them back out within 90 days. Cliff returned and stayed until he was able to duplicate the problem I was having that hadn t shown itself when he d previously come. Thankfully it ended up being a much cheaper problem than I d anticipated for which I was extremely grateful. I can t say enough about the customer service of Jon Wayne Service Company. Will definitely call them when I m ready to replace my units!

They also replaced several items that needed it at no cost to me because of our plan.
He went over my paper work and described what they did with each area - Plumbing, HVAC and electrical.

Had someone out today for an HVAC install estimate...

Had someone out today for an HVAC install estimate. I expected sticker shock given I d used Jon Wayne for a whole home rewire, which cost me about $32,000. But they did quality work and I wanted to see what they d propose.

So when they proposed two mini-splits with five heads at a cost of nearly $29k I wasn t surprised. But it was their response to my request for details on the proposal that simply floored me. I asked a simple question, what exact mini-split models are you proposing.

Here was the exact response emailed back with a screen shot of an unidentifiable mini-split:

This is what it will look like, I won t know model/serial until we have engineering do a room by room for the indoor units. They are not all the same size indoor units , they are properly sized for the room, so unfortunately there s not 1 model number I can look up for you. Our process would be, if you tell us let s start the work and collect payment
We will engineer the rooms out for Exact sizes on indoor and outdoor units. Then we would install accordingly

He presents me with an outrageous cost estimate for two mini-splits but doesn t even know which models they d use? They d let me know AFTER I ve already paid them to start the job? He sends me a frickin picture of a mini-split?

And of course less than 15 minutes after calling Jon Wayne to express my displeasure with this joke of an estimate he suddenly finds the model numbers.

Hard pass, Jon Wayne, and you won t be getting the call for next job.

I used this service to get some smart home devices...

I used this service to get some smart home devices installed. They installed a Nest smoke Detector, and Nest lock. The work was ok, but not great. I may need to get a locksmith to get the lock to work more smoothly. They were unable to install the Nest door bell and said we needed the help of an electrician. This company has electricians, but they were unable to help on that day. I then got an appointment a week in advance for a Jon Wayne electrician to do the work. However, there is now a major delay and they may not be able to send someone out even though I ve had this appointment for a week. I am not impressed so far. Update: the major delay turned into cancellation. They told me they were unable to come out that day for an appointment made a week in advance. Also, they were unable to come out the next day either. That was when I decided to use another company. This other company came out the very next day and installed my doorbell with no problems .

Service Representative, Carlos, came by today to complete a quality check and his service was undoubtedly worth a shout out to him and his company. Carlos was professional in every way. Providing me excellent expectations and an understanding of the work we was doing. He was a delight to work with and he was so sweet to my 110lbs fur baby. My dog was literally sad to see him leave! We got home from work to no working A/C. I called Jon Wayne and even though it was already 6:30pm they said they would try to get someone there that night and they did. The repair person was very professional and courteous. He did a great job and fixed the issue. By 9:30pm we had working A/C again. They saved us from a very hot evening. Thank you!

We had our 20 year old compressor basically blow up on us in the heat of the afternoon. We called Jon Wayne right away. Jacob came out almost immediately and confirmed the compressor was gone. The next day John and Austin came out with our new system. They showed up on time, looked clean and professional. They hauled out the old system and had the new one up and running. When they were done, they totally cleaned up any mess they made, took time to explain how the system worked and made sure we had no more questions before leaving. If you need AC work done, you need to call Jon Wayne!

Well it was that time again, yearly checkup. George Gutierrez was the tech that came. Nice and courteous and informative. He did the checkup, I had told him about a noise I was hearing and we discussed it. He went outside, came back in and said he'd already placed the order to replace the fan motor..wow! He was out 2 days later and replaced it in now time.

Robert came out from Jon Wayne to address a electrical issue. I had a new panel (breaker box) installed inside and outside with a 200 amp upgrade in April 2020. Electrical started providing partial power January 2021, preventing microwave and large appliances from working. I have a 2 year warranty on the work, Robert came out the next day after I called and found that the power company, CPS energy, was the source of the problem. Robert got the problem fixed by the power company (CPS technician came out) within a hour. Long story short, cost me nothing (warranty honored) and the problem got resolved fast.

Both my husband & I were very, very impressed with Brent & pleased with his level of knowledge & experience. He was very polite, he was understanding, patient & an all around nice guy.
He listened to all of our concerns & problems we were having with the HVAC & heating system. He told us, I ll look at everything (inside & out) & when I finish assessing it all, I ll sit down with you & explain what s going on & I ll get it resolved.
Moving forward we agreed on an option & he explained the repair(s) process was lengthy but he felt confident we d be satisfied with the outcome. Even though he worked hard for the rest of the afternoon & into the evening he exuded nothing but patience & care in getting the work done in a meticulous manner. I believe when a company like Jon Wayne or any other company hires the best, as a customer you get the best & the level of service is the best.

Happy with AC repairs but still waiting to get the second roof attic vent installed. Rain stopped the install and its been a week now with no word from scheduling, even after i called to get a day scheduled. Not happy with the lack of communication.

We bought a complete new heat pump and air handler with all the up grades and blown in insulation. The techs were very professional and informative. Erick, Henry and Joseph were very polite and professional and did excellent work and left everything clean. We enjoyed visiting with the young men as they worked. All work completed in same day .

Very overpriced. The technician who comes out for the appointment is a high pressure salesman that will delay answering any and all questions regarding price until they have exhaustively listed everything they suggest you purchase (We re talking new car prices).

24 hours after they install this brand new, very expensive system that they try to justify overcharging you for by promising around the clock 24/7 responsiveness to service calls/requests for their unit.
My unit has worked for 16 hours out of the last 72 and they are still trying to schedule someone to come take a look at why my system isn t cooling.

Although there was some confusion with the appointment and they were much later arriving than my scheduled appointment the service person was very professional, fixed our issue and treated us fairly. Overall the service was great and I would recommend them. Being on time and keeping you customers up to date on arrival times could definitely use some improvement

I am so glad I chose Jon Wayne A/C for my replacement heating and cooling system 3 years ago. I have always received courteous and prompt service. A real plus is the Rescue Club and the annual checkup of the entire system. I am amazed at the thoroughness of the inspection. The tech spends about 1 1/2 to two hours checking everything to ensure no unexpected issues in the future. This last annual check was performed by Edward with whom I was most pleased. There seems to be a great culture within the company as it is reflected by every employee I have encountered. Edward is a great representative of that positive attitude. A+

I called to make two appointments I made first appointment with no problems the second appointment I became so irritated about questions like did I think this was an emergency even after I said no and if I couldn t be there at two but I could be there at three then that would be considered after hours fee or emergency fee. I realize it doesn t matter if they waive the call fee if I have them do the work but it was too much of a hassle so I made only one appt. The best part, which is why I called JW in the first place, are the professionals they send out. Carlo listen to what the problem was and set out to get the job done and saved me money with unneeded repairs. Several years ago Able installed the new system and I can t say enough about these two men. Awesome job!! I would give those two 5stars any day.

Hottest day of the year and our air-cond system breaks down. I call in the 24 hour service number and they say they re booked up till 2pm-6pm is soonest time they can come out , so we pull out the fans and Thank God we re still healthy enough to bare the 106 degree heat! Serviceman shows up friendly and courteous and mask on with slippers over his shoes he checks everything out and finds the problem right away , blown capacitor great he has one in his truck and replaces it and double checks everything again, Edward was very professional and took care of us promptly! So glad we got the Jon Wayne Platinum Warranty so we didn t have to pay anything out of pocket ! Thanks Jon Wayne Air Conditioning !

I was glad that they could come to my home within 3 hours for a hot water heater issue.
But, technician had no idea how to fix. He was up front about it and because of that, he did not charge me for a service call.
Options for possible repair started at 3600.00....I fixed it for 50.00 and alot of cussing. .
Jon Wayne had replaced my whole house duct work a few years ago and I was very happy with that and I will call them again if the need arises.

Had appointment from 9-1 they called said we ve had a flood of emergency calls it will be way after 1. Gee no problem I took 1/2 day off from work. Now I had to take a full day off. They wanted me to take another day off to get the work done, REALLY! Another day! No respect for your time. Waited 11 hours after having an appointment. Joe showed up he gets 5 stars. Joe got it done fast and was very nice! The least they could have done was discount the job. You just can t find a stand up contractor anymore.
