Mr. Andrew Riley was an amazing person who gave us the best service I have ever been given for the estimate. The service technician did a thorough job and had multiple options for repairs, however, he neglected to plug in the air handler unit (the system would not turn on), poked a hole in the duct work and did not repair the hole. Since the options that were given for repairs were close to what we thought a new system would cost a different associate came to our house.
This associate wanted to check the work the technician did and see our current system. We discovered, later that evening that our (land line) telephone was not working. The message on the digital display read "no line". After calling our provider and going through steps to try and get the phone to work, an appointment with the provider was scheduled.
In the meantime, we discovered that the telephone line looked like it was damaged (split). Two days later, the provider confirmed, that the phone line was split. We do not know how the telephone line got damaged or who actually caused the damage.
All has been repaired. We called a different A/C company to get a second opinion. We will not be using Jon Wayne.

Today we had our toilet from the 1970"s replaced by Jon Wayne service company in San Antonio. it was a very easy process from start to finish thanks to Bobby Terrell. He was the most professional, polite, and friendly plumber i have ever encountered. Upon arrival he showed what the company had to offer and was very patient with me while i went back and forth trying to decide if i would purchase the toilet at a big box store or go with one of theirs. In the end i decided to go with theirs and am happy with my decision. If i could give more than 5 stars i would. I highly recommend Jon Wayne Service Company and plumber Bobby Terrell.
Joe was very friendly/professional. He cut and installed 2 elbow joints/toilet supply valves for 389. Felt like this was overpriced but it does come with a warranty. Overall I m content with the services rendered and would recommend Jon Wayne.

$59 dollars for maintenance. Until needed what was said to be 2lbs of R410a(pink bottle). The tech will show you a reading but it's not in lbs, it's in inch lbs...BIG difference!!! He squeaked the value open for barely a second, two or three times. Quoted me $70 dollars per lbs prior to filling then once the bill was written up said oops, that's the member rate. $99 bucks per lbs they charged. $237 after discount!!! Don't let them know you're military until the very end!!! Both Jon and John are dead in my book.

Thanks to Bryan, the technician, for his good work! Bryan is friendly, knowledgeable, and very enthusiastic. He took time to explain and gave me options to select. The customer service lady was nice, but did not schedule my appointment properly. I left my work early today to go home for the appointment and planned to go back to work, but I couldn t because the time frame was too long. (I was told the time frame 9:00-1:00, but the technician arrived almost 2:00). Overall, it was good.
This was a complicated issue but my service technician George Gutierrez was diligent and yes his resources at his disposal to solve the problem and get my AC working. I do appreciate his hard work and professionalism especially since it was so hot in the house and even muggier outside. You are blessed with this employee.
Where to even begin. I m finding it difficult to come up with one word to describe my experience with Jon Wayne Service Company.
The word that keeps coming to mind is EXEMPLARY .
I have been wanting to replace my HVAC system for a few years now. The old equipment was close to 19 years old (air handler) and 11 years old (outdoor AC / heat pump unit). I decided three days ago to start the research and cost phase for this massive project. I set out to get cost estimates with two goals in mind. (1) cost to replace existing equipment and (2) cost to install a dual zone system. The 2nd level of my home averages about 8-10 degrees warmer in the summer so having a way to cool the 2nd level separately was a nice to have, but certainly not a requirement. I decided to let cost be the primary factor in that decision.
The estimate was conducted by Matt. There was never a moment in the time Matt was at my home where I felt pressured into a purchase; and he was at my home for over three hours. His professionalism, knowledge of the Jon Wayne organization, and demonstrable expertise of the systems and components involved in my project was nothing short of impressive. He was friendly and had no problem engaging in a little witless banter. Ultimately, Matt made me feel as if he cared more about what I was trying to accomplish and putting me on a viable path to that goal, than about making a sale . In an industry plagued by a horrible reputation, if Matt was any indication of Jon Wayne s commitment to the customer, I knew I would end up using this company for the job.
I had three reputable providers in San Antonio come out and quote the job. All the estimates were competitive, but Jon Wayne was definitely the most expensive. However, I knew where that additional expense went as soon as the install was completed. The craftsmanship and impressive attention to detail in the workmanship shows that Jon Wayne does not employ shoddy workers. The three man crew, composed of Jose (crew lead), Marcus, and Gabriel showed up around 8:45 am. They adequately explained every aspect of the install progress and what to expect. Three separate vans of equipment was a prime indicator to me that these guys don t mess around. And they didn t. These guys started working and seemingly never stopped. It was like watching a symphony. Each crew member got to their task and individual pieces of work started to combine into the end result. It took them about 10 hours to do the job.
Now, I m no HVAC expert. Condenser this, return that, damper here, heat pump there, plenum box, ducting...blah blah blah. I did a walkthrough of the finished product with Jose. He answered all my questions and explained everything about my system, including thermostat operation with the Home app. Jose was thorough and never behaved as if he was trying to just be done with the day s project. I think I even sensed a bit of pride beaming from him as we checked out the final product. Every minor detail was accounted for. Even the bends in copper piping were perfectly done in an orchestrated sequence of 45 and 90 degree bends. The new electrical and piping they had to run to the outdoor unit was masterfully dressed. Being an installer of electrical systems in a previous life, I had the utmost respect for the beauty of what this crew had accomplished in such a short period of time. Truly outstanding work.
From estimate and scheduling, to the explanation of what my purchase options were, to the remarkable tradecraft illustrated by the installation results, I can wholeheartedly say, I ll never deal with another HVAC company as long as I live in San Antonio.
Sure, Jon Wayne was bit pricier than the next guy but they use top of the line components (nearly everything they use is made in America) and their work is truly second to none. To me, that s peace of mind and I have no qualms paying a little extra for the level of quality, care, and overall experience I received.

Completed a thorough pre summer tune up on my system, arrived on time and took about 90 mins. Very professional, very friendly and left my home as clean as when they arrived. The techs both wore gloves and shoe covers the entire time they were inside my home. Price was very reasonable and told me my unit was in great shape but of course they did have multiple suggestions for add ons totalling over $4600, none of which I purchased and the tech did not pressure me to do so. Overall I'd likely use them again.

toilets were backed up, talked to scheduler on Saturday. she said no one available on weekend so scheduled for 10am Monday. She put us on the urgent list in case of earlier availability. By noon Monday no one had showed. Called, they said they were running behind would be after 2. At 4 o'clock I called again, they said they would definitely be out soon. They called before 5 o'clock and said the earliest they could be here was Wednesday. Seriously! no toilets! running to neighbors to use bathroom and you can't make it out for 5 days!

Seniors BeWare!! I have been dealing with the Jon Wayne A/C company for the last four years. I have finally realized that they have been cheating me every time they come out for repairs. On the last visit I had called them in the middle of Aug. my A/C stopped working, so after they checked out the system they told me, "we have two offers to fix your system" one was $1200.00 the other was for $787.00. I settled for the $787.00 since they explained the $1200.00 would include a surge protector. At that time all I wanted was for the A/C to work. So they asked me to initial on their I-pad for the $787.00 repair without an itemized list of what was to be repaired. After they left it dawned on me that I didn't know what I had paid for. So I called the office requesting an itemized list of what was repaired, they told me to call the technician that worked on my system, I refused to talk to the technician and requested they email me an itemized list of the repair. A short time later the technician emailed me a list of what was replaced along with a copy of what I had accepted during their visit. Now the copy shows the three items that were replaced along with the price of each item and my initials accepting the work. Funny how all of this info was absent when I initialed the I-pad. The three items on the list were, one Circuit Breaker $238.00 which is a $14.00 item, one Service Disconnect $281.00 which is a $24.00 item this item was not installed properly they had to come and fix this problem., and one Hard Start Capacitor $311.00 which I had replaced a couple of months before. After seeing all of these charges I recalled that the last technician that had serviced our system from Jon Wayne had told me that all the technicians that work there "work on commission only" so when they come to your home they have to find something to replace in order for them to get paid. This will be my last experience with this company please be aware in this case a second opinion may be worth the call.
After placing this review one of Jon Wayne's representatives contacted me to see if there was anything they could do to help resolve some of the issues listed in my review. After a long conversation the representative agreed to work with me on the pricing of certain items.
I was impressed with the manner in which the representative approached me with respect and fairness. I guess for a company that shows a great deal of interest in resolving issues and keeping customers satisfied means a lot, therefore I believe such interest deserves changing my review from one star to four stars.

First of all they came out the very next day to give me a quote, then I was promised my new unit would be in by 6pm the next day and it was done by 3pm. I had my annual heating and air condition inspection done today by Mr. Tom Rodriguez. He called before hand to let us know what time he would arrive. Very nice gentleman. He introduced himself and explained to us everything he was going to do. He asked us if we had any questions before he started. We said no and he got straight to work. Did a real good job. He took his time and did everything by the book. He was very respectful to us whenever he talked to us. He asked permission everytime he entered a different room. When he finished he cleaned up real good. He explained to us how our system was working and suggested some repairs we should consider. Overall it was a very good experience. I was able to get a same day appointment to have 2 toilets fixed within 3 hours after placing my call. Geoffrey was honest and noted one of the toilets only needed the chain adjusted and the continous running stopped immediately . Although the price to change the floater valve and pipe was over $200 I felt safe and had the comfort of a warranty service.

I always have great service with Jon Wayne. If I have one piece of feedback I wish Dylan would have communicated better where he was in the process versus what was left to do. In a scorching house it is nice to have an idea when to expect things to be up and running again
