I have to say as a road technician myself...That I will never use a different company after my experience with the gentleman that came to my home today to fix my ac...The gentleman (Lionel) that came to my home was so respectful and honest and took the time to explain all he was doing..He did not try and sell me everything under the sun...he gave me a few options on how to get the situation under control...When I said what I wanted he was very professional...And went straight to work... An exceptional employee to this business for sure... he has secured my business for the long haul with this company for sure...I think not enough people get credit for a job well done..Before he even left there was such a difference in the coolness of my home... he has made me so happy and has helped me get some much needed rest as my home is cool and great now..It is not often you find someone that has the respect and pride in their work as he does.... most people are just a job another job to most... but he was down right just a good guy..I can't thank this company enough for sending him out to my home... I don't trust many as I am a locksmith and have seen a lot of crapy things in this world..If you want someone that is going to do a great job I would for sure call this company... and have stated to them when I call to send this guy to my home as he made me feel comfortable and informed on anything he did ..Good job to Lionel for sure... he does your company proud and I hope that he gets the respect from your company he deserves...as he has secured my business for your company from here on out...Nothing but positive from me for this company as their tech was just great... I had 3 clogged drains, so I setup an appointment with Jom Wayne. They called me to let me know they were running a bit behind but should still make it within the window. I received another call 15 minutes before the plumber arrived. He introduced himself, put on shoe covers and got straight to diagnosing the problem. He provided me with an extremely reasonable quote and then went straight to work. He even went out of his way to show me what he was doing so I could prevent future clogs. Benjamin Martinez was my plumber, and he did a wonderful job and was extremely professional. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone!

The advisor was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The technicians who did the install were conscientious of my home. They put down material so they would not track debris into my home. They provided me with instructions on all the equipment and answered every question I had. Previously I had had a home warranty company (AHS), who treated me very poorly and I will never go back to a home warranty company. Jon Wayne Service Company is an expert company with trained and courteous technicians - which is an A++++. I highly recommend this company for A/C and the other services they provide.

Technician was very courteous. Availability and appointment-setting on the website is highly misleading. It's apparent the majority of tech training is geared toward pitching sales and increasing profit, rather than responding to customer needs and concerns. The upside is I was offered a broad range of different ways they could over-charge me. It's all about the Benjamins at John Wayne. I do feel sorry for their employees. Get a second opinion and never trust Google reviews.

I was looking to replace my central ac system inside and out. The salesman explained my options and patiently reviewed them with me several times as I couldn t make up my mind. Once I decided on my new system the installers were very professional and did an excellent job. All and all a great job from beginning to end.

Beyond impressed with his patience while my wife and I discussed what we wanted to do. Very professional, explained out the device plan, cost difference and what I need to do to help my system extend its life! Really appreciated the great customer service!

I needed the outside fan blower motor and fan blade replace. The repair quote ranged from 1700 to 10,000 dollars. This is not what I expected.

The Representative Jason Carlson was nice and courteous. He provided me the best options possible and was determined to help me through the process. I will recommend this company and Jason to my friends and family.

Called because of the $29 service call charge and having it applied to the cost of the repair. In addition due to visibility of their trucks and advertising.

Found the service representative to be professional, knowledgeable and friendly.

The price quotes were extremely high considering the retail price of parts and reasonable labor fees. I m all for companies ensuring they are making a profit for services rendered, however I had to decline service to seek out more reasonable cost effective solutions. The alternatives were readily available.

Edward was very thorough, explained everything he was doing and what his goals were at each step.

We called to schedule maintenance on our unit and were pleased to schedule our service the same day.

Upon arrival the technician introduced himself and provided identification. He was respectful of our home and covered his shoes prior to entering our home.

Ezekiel thoroughly inspected our AC unit. He also took the time to respond the questions my husband and I asked in simplified terms.

I'd highly recommend his service to my friends and family.

Had a ac guy out that told us we had to replace our ac ! John Wayne tech came for a 2nd opinion and fixed the old one for $150 tune up! First guy was $10k to replace unit John Wayne tech fixed the problem for $150! Was very thankful we found them!

It was time to do annual maintenance on our AC system. Everyone I spoke to were very courteous! Kevin E. was our technician and came on time. He was professional and kind! He provided the maintenance and did a show and tell of the air purification system. You can see he takes pride in his work! We love this company and look forward to doing more business with them! Jon wayne has all the bells and whistles and more if you want a great company this is the one you need to call.... they are thourough with their evaluations and their service. Richard is great at what he does.

We bought a system 11 years ago from a competitor, and it NEVER worked right. We never saw the energy savings we were promised, and every year we had to have someone come and service the system for leaks or broken parts or a clogged up drain. After so many visits from multiple companies, we just assumed that was the norm, because no one ever told us otherwise. All the other companies just said, "Everything looks fine."

As the weather heated up this March, we noticed it was time to call again, because we just weren't getting cool in the house. This time we tried Jon Wayne, despite some fear that they were higher priced. Brian Swisher came out and did an evaluation, quickly noting that the fan on our outdoor system was completely locked up. He took photos of our duct work and our indoor system, and he educated me on his findings.

We had been having trouble for all these years because of shoddy installation work years ago and negligent repairmen ever since. Our duct work was not sealed properly, so we had a lot of leaks. There was one part on our indoor unit that left a quarter inch gap which allowed air and insulation to be pulled from the attic and blown into the system. And no one had ever pointed out the problems, so our system had been working overtime all these years. Every year, sometimes month after month, we had been paying a $50 repair fee plus labor and parts, and every time, we had just been putting bandaids on a broken system.

Brian showed me our repair options. We could simply repair our fan for more than $600, but without knowing how long the fan had been out, there was increased risk that the condenser had been damaged. We wouldn't know for sure unless we repaired the fan first.

If we allowed them to fix ALL the problems, including the ductwork, the ill fitting piece on the indoor system, and a number of other problems, the total would be $7000, and we still wouldn't know about that condenser.

Brian showed me options for just starting over with a totally new system, new ductwork, a no worry 10-year service plan (where they come out any time we have a problem and there is NO service fee), and all kinds of other upgrades that will give us the kind of system that stops draining our patience and pocketbook. We will likely see up to a 30% decrease on our electric bill as well. We picked the system and package we could best afford, and Brian helped me through the application process for financing. He was super patient as I coordinated every step with my husband.

Three trucks and five techs were out the next morning to do all the installation. They, like Brian, were very courteous and professional. I have high hopes that THIS time we are getting the system and service we were promised!!!

All I can say is that Tom provides amazing customer service. Tom came out and figured out the issue immediately and resolved it. I appreciate the professionalism and insight Tom provided about the work he completed. He was courteous and professional and explained what my ac system was doing as well as what he was doing to resolve the issue at hand. Thank you so much for being awesome!

Scheduled service for a 4 hour block 8am to 12pm. Scheduling called at 11:30 and said they were running behind and tech would arrive later. I called back at 3:45 still no tech. Rescheduled for following day. Tech (plumber in this case) arrived at the appointed time, was very courteous, found the leak and made the repair. My only complaint is with scheduling not the plumber. I wasted a whole day waiting. In that aspect I was very disappointed. I guess their time is more valuable than mine.

Ac unit and heater quit working. Call Jon Wayne and within an hour they came out. Pleases with the bill and service work done by technician. Will call again if needed.

Old fan motor inside decided to stop. Smart system detected the code 41-fault and I called Jon Wayne. Came out and replaced the motor and we are A/C again. Also did system check and all is good. Super great work, wore a mask and cleaned up everything.

Technicians are very knowledgeable about the ac units. Will answer all your questions and go over their service report with you. Very professional and competent. Like their service. they take the time to assist you with any questions you may have and will work with you ... schedule wise.... if you need it so you are comfortable at the end of your repair.

Brian was knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and extremely helpful with our homes heating/cooling system and venting. He gave us options from the best to the minimal that can be done. Edit: My HVAC was originally repaired about 3 months ago, but i started having the same issue. The online chat person was also not helpful, but the scheduler was easy to work with. Ultimately, they came out the next day and resolved the issue for free.

(+) Next day appointment. Prompt arrival. Good service recovery.

(-) the original person tried hard to up-sell! My AC motherboard needed to be reset, but then I was told the capacitor was also out for my unit and it wouldn't be covered under warranty. They offered multiple $7,000 packages before actually stating the fix itself was a $300 issue (after I repeatedly asked because it was never listed despite all the other "offers").

Tony gave us an estimate for installation of a generator. Tony was great, answered all our questions.

Mike was very knowledgable and made several adjustments to our system in an attempt to make the warmer part of the house cooler. He took the time to explain our options over the phone with my Mom who couldn't be here for the appointment.

Extremely expensive for the amount of work and time. The push for their home warranty is a bit much and there isn't much benefit in terms of price. $300 for valve change that took 30 minutes or less. Overall professional work but the prices are horrific. I was quoted $900 + got two valve replacements and shower leak repair.

We had a leaking kitchen faucet. We called John Wayne's Service company. We received same day service and had a great service technician. Benjamin M. was professional, courteous, informative, and skilled. He was able to diagnose and fix the issue very efficiently and in a timely manner. I would recommend this company again. Diagnosticians were thorough and professional. Unfortunately they said install crew would be here by 12, and at this point it s 12:50 and no crew.

Richard Hickey came out to service my AC unit due to shutting off and did a fabulous job! Took his time and was very informative and went above and beyond to make sure our AC unit was repaired correctly! 5 for Richard! Would definitely recommend him.

Call to speak to a plumber about a question ? Maybe they could gotten the job. But i was told by receptionist the dont call customers back that they have to come on premises just to answer a question. What a way to waste customers time. Nope i wont be using john wayne plenty of other more professional plumbers outhere.

This company is awesome, great value, and they back up their products and work. The strike team that came today to handle my work order were true professionals, punctual, all done in one day, and now I can sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet in my man cave. Except when I watch my Cowboys :-) Again, awesome customer service, thank you.

We have not yet had the unit installed so cannot comment on quality or value. but everything else was 5 stars. everything was explained very well and we were not pressured to upgrade.

I had a 10AM-12PM window for a quote on new units. Received a call a little after 10 saying they were running behind and should be here after 12PM because they had customers w/o A/C. I'm okay with that but the next call came after 3PM telling me someone would be here in about 30 minutes. When the guy showed up a little after 4PM & he's not a technician I'm just wondering why it took so long. He was very knowledgeable & professional but mentioned he doesn't know where is going next because he handles one call at a time. So why was I lied to by the receptionist?

Our fist visit with John Wayne was better that expected. Michael was very thorough when inspecting our system . We did not feel rushed or lacking any information need to make our decision. He was very transparent with cost and did not try to sell us more than what we needed.

John (not John Wayne) was thorough, prompt, and professional. They did an a/c tune up, found a couple of electrical issues that they fixed and installed a new Nest Thermostat for us. John explained everything and gave us all of options before proceeding. Great experience

David was professional and quick! Fixed the outlet quickly and cleaned up. We will be using John Wayne in the future!

Update: 10/15/2019: Have to enter my comments and adjust the rating about my recent experience in trying to get an electrician out to my house. I wanted to have an electrician sent to my home to provide a quote to install a 30-AMP circuit breaker. I provided that information to the scheduler. However, I had to have a plumber to come to my home so he/she could say I needed an electrician. This was such a waste of time and unreasonable waste of resources. I cancelled the service call.

Update: 5/27/2020: I decided to give the company another chance and they exceeded my expectations. From the scheduling of the quote, the appointment and then the day of the install, I was contacted on updates.The individuals were professional, quick, and the quality of their work outstanding. I'm sold on this company and will use them for all my future work. This warrants changing their rating to a 5-star review.

Update: 8/13/2020. I made a request for a technician to come to my home for some electrical estimate. I received a reply from this company that my appointment would be Thursday, August 20 between 8-10. After waiting all morning, I never got a call now someone showing up. I called the company and Caleb told me that was only a requested time. I corrected him and told him what exactly the reply stated. He apologised saying they are trying to get this fixed on the website. He then asked for me to be put on hold to "get me on the schedule". I replied cancel my request. What is disturbing, on my 5/27/2020 review, I paid this company about $4K for a job I was happy with and wanted to use them again. After today, I won't again and lowering my rating to two stars. I wish I could charge this company a "missed appointment service charge" at the same rate they charge for their labor rate.

They installed a water softener and a installed a new box for my washing machine to discharge.

Jeff s arrival was as promised. He quickly identified my toilet problems & repaired them good-as-new! Kept me posted of his progress. Very professional! Thank you Jeff & Jon Wayne Service Company! I ll call them again for any plumbing, HVAC or electrical repairs!

Had to be rescheduled once then spent pretty much the whole day either waiting to arrive or waiting to finish. The technician was friendly, courteous, & COVID protective.

Customer Service Representative-notably Mr. Trevino, was most professional and personable, as were the other representatives--and they sounded genuine.
The electrician-Mr. Joshua Riojas- was very professional--thorough knowledge; detailed explanations; direct eye contact; patient. Ensured the client fully understood how and why the Bonding system worked and was effective. Did not even attempt to suggest a repair where one was not needed. Outstanding performance.

Very professional company. I called Jon Wayne because of a couple issues we were having with our AC system (not installed by them) & needed a legit recommendation. The service advisor that came out (Dylan Fisher) was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, thorough and I believe he was honest about his recommendations. We decided to replace the entire system and start new in an attempt not to waste any more money with the old. Our duct work was also replaced as it was 33 YEARS OLD. The team of installation specialists (lead by David Luciano)were just as impressive as Dylan! They too showed an exemplary dedication to get the job done right...the first time!! I can't say enough about their no nonsense work ethic! We've only had the new system two days, so I'm not able to grade on that yet, but so far so good & as they say you get what you pay for. I can't even tell its running its so quiet, and my house is cool & cool in places it never has been before. I'm glad I randomly chose them!!

On 12 May 2020, a severe storm caused my breaker to trip leaving my daughter's bedroom with no power. I tried some basic troubleshooting but to no avail, the problem was not resolved. I reached out to Jon Wayne Service Company for a solution. There friendly receptionist set me up with a service date. The technician promptly showed up and resolved the issue with my breaker panel. This is my second experience with Jon Wayne and it has been a good one; especially during this time. I highly recommend this company!! #5STARS!

Guys were very professional, found the issue I was having and fixed it fast!

Had to wait five days, but understand given cold water line damage. Issue was clear communication on schedule and trying to push us a week out when other jobs went longer. The technician today was superb, worked the problem and got the parts quickly.

The electricians are great. However, I have my doubts about the plumbers. They wanted to sell me an $1100 sink and a $190 discount membership all to stop a few leaks. The service call was $29. When it came time to run my card, what did they try to charge me for? Not the membership, not the house call. Yes, the $1100 sink. I m not that stupid.

They're great if you want to be charged for services you don't need. No leak but Freon low? You will never need to recharge Freon in your central air AC unit if there is no leak. It will mess up your AC. Google it.

Ruben Moreno (certified service advisor at John Wayne) incredibly helpful and madd sure to diagnose the problem quickly and was very helpful about what steps to take next. Also made sure that I didn t spend more than I d like to spend on repairs before talking to my Authority in the household!

John was very thorough and explained what caused my issue, repaired the issue and how to address that issue in the future.

Robert was great. He drove an hour out of San Antonio to make sure our problem was looked at today. He got here after 6 pm, and we were charged the regular rate; another company I contacted earlier this morning was charging after-hour 'holiday' rates on January 2. Robert took care of restoring electric and repairing the damage, explained everything thoroughly and worked efficiently to get it done. I was very happy with the service I received. I can't comment on value; I've never had to call an electrician before.

The very best in HVAC technician. I would recommend this company above others. When we are ready to do new HVAC we will use them.

Carlo Avendano did an annual inspection of my heating and air systems. During his inspection, he was professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and was happy to explain in detail how certain parts of the system operate so I would have a better understanding. I asked him if hard water would affect my air/heating systems and he let me know about so many of the other services Jon Wayne provides like soft water systems. Great work Carlo! After paying for unresolved issues with someone else we decided to call Jon Wayne. Michael Norman was sent out to us and he was amazing. He explained everything thoroughly and clearly to me and my grandfather and resolved our ongoing issues and offered us a good plan. We will continue to use hin

All 3 of my brand new units have gone out over the past 2 years and conveniently, none of the parts that go out are covered by the warranty.

We felt it was a bit excessive to charge over $300 to replace a ballast.
Never even checked for other possible causes.

Joe Benavides was awesome! He represented Jon Wayne well and helped us clear our kitchen and laundry lines as well as fixing a leak on our kitchen sink. We have always had great service from Jon Wayne and would recommend them to anyone.

I've been a Jon Wayne customer for over 10 years, The techs are always courteous, professional, addresses us by name, lets you know what is going on and next steps. Our latest experience was with the A/C, though it was a simple fix, I would have never thought it was a plugged drain in the bathroom. Tom Rodiguez went beyond by checking the complete system and adding some freon and replacing some caps. He cleaned up the work area and everything was covered by the maintenance plan, therefore, our total cost was ZERO. Pay a little each month and don't get hit with a big expense down the road. Reviews are mixed, but for me it is FIVE STARS!!

I found Jon Wayne Services online and they were able to come out the next morning. Their rates are a lot better than some of the other quotes I received. Richard was very friendly and professional and gave us great recommendations for maintenance. Will definitely use again!

John Wars was on time and prompt. He diagnosed the problem with our HVAC system and had the part to fix it on his truck. The fix was very quick and he took the time to explain what broke and listened to us explain the history with our HVAC system. Jon Wayne is the ads they have on Channel 5 and the ads have no gimmicks or loud talking. Very professional company.

I called JW to address a specific problem in my home. Lights dim momentarily when ac turns on.
They wanted to reroute some wiring on the front of my house, install 6 more outlets, install a new breaker box. He indicated that my house was not safe. The cost would be $10,000. Note: the House was not being required. A service contract was added without explaining that it would be. When I questioned it, I was told it was added so that I could get a 20% discount! I questioned the $10,000 cost and was offered credit with interest at which time, he automatically applied for it. The reason for the exorbitant price was bc they will do the work right and guarantee the job .
I called an additional 3 qualified electricians. All were amazed at the price quoted by JW. I did not need a new breaker box and the momentary light dimming was not a problem. The city installed a wire near the street at no charge to me and the other quotes for the wires In front of the house to be installed threw the roof were a fraction of the cost that JW quoted. I have no doubt that the work that they would do would be good, but I would get another quote or two to make certain the work needs to be done and the price is fair. BTW, all reputable, qualified electricians will back up their work and you don t have to pay for that.

As always, Jon Wayne goes above and beyond with their impeccable knowledge, customer service, and kindness. I had the pleasure of working with Jackie today to get my AC looked at, and not only was he thorough and walked me through everything he did, he was well informed and I knew he had my best interest at heart. There s no other company to trust with your home than Jon Wayne!!

9/25/2019 - They did not like the fact I asked for a written estimate that explained the price quote. The company will just give you a final number with little to no detail. Reducing my score to 1 star. For the record, I found another company that was more than willing to go over the details. It cost me $300 more that what Jon Wayne quoted but at least I know exactly what I m getting. Shop around folks!

It was an annual service and check up. The technician, Brian, did a thorough job efficiently and in a timely way. He told us what he would do, he did it, and the he reviewed every thing he had done.

Very professional and knowledgeable. I had tried a different electrician previously, and he could not fix the problem. Jon Wayne's technician fixed it! I think the price was a little steep, but you can't argue with success. The other guy couldn't fix it, but Jon Wayne did.

John Wayne was there in my families time of need. Rudy was a pleasure dealing with and the professionalism The whole team showed was superior. We were treated like family and glad we turned our trust to this company. So much more to say but not enough space to do so. Great team, Great Pros and they are considered family in our eyes.
