We used Hoppa in Gran Canaria and although our flight was delayed the service was ready for us when we did arrive. The return journey was very prompt and the driver very pleasant even at 2:30am arriving exactly on time, at the airport. There were many pick up points but we had paid for the shared shuttle and the price was very competitive. good value for money and efficient.

I went to Corfu for the first time and once at the Hoppa desk my friend and I were greeted with a lovely welcome and very helpful staff. The bus driver was also extremely happy and friendly and of course put our luggage away for us.
The journey to our apartment was long, but I saw it as a wonderful way to see the Island. I was also extremely confident in the drivers ability and carefulness to manoeuvre the bus in some very small roads. I usually feel quite apprehensive about bus journeys, but this driver made me feel very safe.
Also the price was extremely good which was another big plus for me.

BEWARE! We have a 6.50am flight and have booked airport transfers from alcudia to the airport. Just found out the pick up time is 02.15am!!???. I understand there are some stops on the way, and we maybe first but this is ridiculous. Customer service were no help, we have no choice to book a taxi rather than put our kids through a 5 hour addition to our travel time. If you don t want really painful transfers at the end of a great holiday - don t use Hoppa/momentum.

The service from hoppa was excellent from start to finish. They contacted us rather than us having to confirm arrangements with them The airport pick up was quick and the return from the hotel bang on time.
No hassle a pleasure to do business with them.

I booked a transfer, Hoppa emailed to say the provider could not go to the drop off location but did not provide an alternative location. Hoppa said that I could cancel free of charge but still charged me. They have not mentioned giving me a refund at all. I now have to chase the refund. Just great.

Excellent experience with Hoppa for the first time, only 40 minutes from Palma to Alcudia as 2 of 6 passengers in a comfortable new Mercedes van.
Longer return trip in a minibus, again a pleasant and comfortable journey.
Don't often leave reviews but service was outstanding for us this time.

We have used Hoppa often, in all different countries, and for the price you pay you get excellent service. The drivers are always courteous and polite and very helpful. You get reminder texts before you arrive to confirm then again the day before you leave to confirm pick up time. Will use again on next trip.

I would not recommend this company in the slightest and would avoid at all costs! I am very dissapointed with how inadequate thier service was, along with how poorly they deal with complaints. From the moment I landed, my holiday consisted of incessantly chasing Hoppa for pickup time details. There was no communication between myself and the transfer service or Hoppa. I was forced to continually initaite contact to find out the status of my transfer. Let's highlight why Hoppa are so unreliable...

I was not given any details as to where to meet my transfer once having landed. No contact in advance to my flight nor once I landed. I lost time running around the airport on the phone to Hoppa trying to locate my driver. Over 1 hour later, I had found the driver and was greeted in an aggressive manner due to his frustration of having to wait. A fantastic start to my holiday.

The day before flying home, once again no contact from Hoppa regarding a pick up time (it is thier responsibility to provide this information 24 hours ahead of your flight). My last day was very stressful attempting to find out what time the transfer would arrive. Having again initiated contact with Hoppa, I was informed, less that 10 hours before the flight, that they still did not have this information. Finally I was told 8 hours before my flight that the transfer would arrive at 6AM for a returning flight at 7:50AM. I was very displeased, as it is always advised to ARRIVE at the airport 2 hours prior to any flight. I requested that the transfer arrive at 5AM. I was given a straight no and told 5:45AM. I expressed that this was not enough time to ensure the process was smooth and took into account any unforeseen traffic. With a complete disregard for my concerns, I was forced to find alternative transport to ensure I reached the airport on time. I communicated to Hoppa that I was not comfortable with thier service and would be using another means of transport. Unsurprisingly, they did not inform the driver, who wasted time and ended up arriving at the hotel.

The whole experience was dreadful and I urge those who are looking to enjoy thier trip, to use another transport service. I have put in a formal complaint and thier response has been absolutely appalling with total disregard of the circumstances I raised. I plan on escalating this further until I have been given a refund as a result of thier neglectful service.

Truly terrible service. The return taxi service to the airport at the end of our trip did not come and, despite prepayment, they have announced it will take them up to a month to reply to my query. Only use them if you want to pay twice (you will prepay and then have to book another transfer) and if you want zero service after the transaction. There is also no phone number that you can call when the service has not been provided.

I had a great experience with Hoppa in Thessaloniki, Greece! I booked a shuttle coach transfer from Thessaloniki Airport to the village of Kriopigi. The driver was already waiting for me when my flight landed. Luckily for me the vehicle happened to be a very comfy private car (shared with only one other passenger) instead of the coach I had booked. The ride was fast and smooth and I was very pleased with the service!

From the minute we were picked up to the drop off our journey was great ,the cars were immaculate the driver's very helpful and pleasant especially
a guy called David who let us pick our own songs and sing them on our way to the airport which lifted our spirits as we were sad to leave Altea and my brother behind!!!

Useless company, use any one of their many competi...

Useless company, use any one of their many competitors instead!! They will just ignore all of your emails if you complain.

They had every bit of information they needed to get my airport transfer to turn up on time, and yet they still turned up 2 hours late. I had just got off a 12 hour flight and I spent an hour looking for my driver, before I gave up and had to make other arrangements.

The only thing they successfully managed to do was take my money and ruin the start of my holiday.

Awful experience with Hoppa. They took our money and didn't deliver a service. When we complained they said that their local partner had said something else (a bunch of lies) and they didn't know who to believe, hence they were closing the case. Absolutely unbelievable and really awful service. If you don't know how to treat your clients you shouldn't be in this business!

I booked my transfer with hoopa for the first time and I went with the speedy shuttle max 4 stops. I was the first to be dropped off it just took 30 minutes fantastic and the pick up for my return was on time. I found the hoopa airport staff and drivers to be helpful and friendly I will be using hoopa again and I fully recommend hoopa for your transfers.

I would give NO stars if I could!

We paid for 2 taxi transfers for our holiday in April.

A week before we were due to go the Foreign Office advised against all travel. We contacted Hoppa to cancel the taxis.

We have been contacting Hoppa for over a month now and they refuse to refund us or give us credits for the money we paid. Instead we have been bombarded with marketing emails asking us to 'buy credits to help their business at what is a difficult time for them'!?!?!? Disgusting behaviour. Will never use this company again.

Do not use.
Had a transfer booked from Dubai airport to Fujairah, no one turned up, when I called the local supplier they had no details of our booking. Called Hoppa who then must ve got in contact with the company and a driver showed nearly an hour later.
Called on the day of our return to confirm collection times and was told everything was confirmed and they d called the local company who also confirmed. Again driver didn t show. Called Hoppa again, and spoke to a call centre in South Africa who informed me that the booking had been cancelled and there would be no driver.

I was told I d have to wait until Monday to call and speak to a manager as no one works over the weekend.
Absolutely dreadful service. Luckily we didn t miss our flight. I would never use it again.

Transfer service from Dalaman Airport to Dalyan was punctual, safe and comfortable. . Driver - courteous, helpful and friendly. Thanks for the discounted price of return transfers. Had used Hoppa many times last year and will continue to do so this year. Very pleased customer.

My Hoppa journey from the airport in Madeira was perfect, great vehicle and good steady driver(unlike local taxis). Meant holiday was off to a good start. Return from hotel to airport was the same.Mercedes limousine arrived on time, driver was very good and nice relaxed journey to the airport. So I will definitely use this service again.

Our inbound flight to Alicante was delayed over 5 ...

Our inbound flight to Alicante was delayed over 5 hours but when we arrived at the "Hoppa" desk at 22.50 we were quickly rushed onto our mini bus and taken to the apartment. The lady told us to rush as this was the last mini bus and everyone is waiting for us, not sure how true this was but never the less very happy they waited and with this service, no issues.

However coming home was a complete nightmare. We received an email telling us to be at a location for a set time, which we did. There was approximately 50 other people there all waiting for various different transfer companies. The coaches came and went for the others but our "mini bus" never turned up (we booked maximum of 4 drops). We called Hoppa (who we booked with) to be told that our booking isn't with Hoppa but with ABAS, who have the right to change the vehicle type and they did! Meaning that one of the coaches that came and went was for us and annoyingly the driver never shouted out our names or that he was 2 people short and we were also told it is our responsibility to get on the coach and not the drivers responsibility. How do we know to get on if its doesn't say "HOPPA"
We asked to be put on another transfer to be told that they have all left and there wasn't any other coaches that night and we have to get a taxi, which cost us 85.

BE AWARE that you pay HOPPA, the emails come from HOPPA, the airport inbound desk is signed HOPPA and the customer service answer the phone "HOPPA" but you might not actually be on a HOPPA bus.

Absolutely awful company and would avoid at all costs. They don't check the flight numbers to confirm departure times so we arrived at Faro airport only to be told the bus was waiting at 7:10 when our flight number clearly stated that it was the departure time. The booking showed 7:10 but I emailed their customer services department and they confirmed that it was the flight time and not the pick up time. So we could either wait at Faro (8 of us) as they didn't have anything available for 2 hours or incur the costs of getting our owns taxis which we did. Mainly because we had to check in at the Villa. Two taxis cost us 100 euros.

To compound things and worried that we wouldn't get picked up for the return journey, I contacted them via their online chat. I specified that the villa was difficult to find so happy to send a map that we obtained from the owner but was told that the local driver knows where he is going and it's all OK for a 17:20 pickup. 17:45 and no bus, 15 minutes on hold to emergency number and no answer. Flight is at 19:50 so had to call on a local taxi again, rush to the airport, more costs of 70 euros and managed to make the boarding gate by 2 minutes.

Unneeded worry and not what you want to end a great weekend with friends. Complaint has been logged and I will be asking for original costs back for hire that didn't turn up, costs for taxis as I have receipts and then a gesture of good will for ruining the start and end of our holiday.

It may be a one off but it's left a very sour taste with me. Awful!

My flight was at 11am, they set my pick up time for 8:30, with a 1 hour 10 minute maximum journey time - which would give me 1 hour (roughly) time window to check in, check my bag in, go through security and get on my flight - basically no way near enough time. I waited until 8:30 and hadn't been contacted about the service running late, I didn't want to waste anymore time, so jumped into a taxi that was sat waiting for business - it cost me 40 Euros, that I didn't have, however got to the airport in time for me not to have to worry about anything. I wouldn't use Hoppa again...

Booked a water taxi from marco polo airport to our hotel in venice. We were dumped on quay side at piazzo san marco because we would not pay driver cash to complete journey to hotel. We showed our booking confirmation but were told hoppa had only booked them to take us to the quay side. We then had to walk for 20 minutes to find our hotel and my wife has a bad knee so this was not good. Many phone calls over weekend and every excuse under the sun why we were not taken to our hotel. If i had not contacted the water taxi firm direct we would not have been picked up and would have missed our flight home. Complained when home but service was dreadfull these people just do not care about customers. Take my advice and book a water taxi through your hotel it costs no more and you will defibately get there

We booked a transfer back from our hotel in Mallor...

We booked a transfer back from our hotel in Mallorca, we requested a pick up time of 9am, but when, 24 hours before travelling, we were sent the pick up time, it was 7.30am, meaning we not only had a much earlier start than we needed but had ages at the airport in the heat with a 5 month old boy. And to make matters worse the mini bus that turned up was awful. Little or no suspension so every little bump felt as if falling into a sink hole. The air con was non existent, and the worse part was that whilst driving on the motorway I noticed the driver was using his mobile phone, texting and talking, not using hands free, very dangerous, will never use this company again

Yesterday I was collected from Lloret de Mar to Barcelona airport. Half way through the journey the coach halted and shuddered with a strong smell of burning rubber (tyre blow out) on a busy motorway road. There was space to pull over, but the driver continues to drive the coach with a defective tyre for a further 20 minutes. We then pulled into a petrol station where people were smoking?!...the driver vanished for 30 minutes and a new coach arrived. Took a photo of the tyre and sent it to Hoppa via the online complaints tab, had an automated response that someone would be back to me within 24 hours...surprise surprise no one has!!

ETA stated 1 hour. Coach took over 2 hours continuously going the long way around alcudia. If had of stated 2 hours on the booking confirmation then I would not have been bothered. For me personally I will be using a different service.

Transfer from Gran Canaria Airport to Playa del In...

Transfer from Gran Canaria Airport to Playa del Inglis. We booked through a third party, "Holiday Extras" and paid for a speedy shuttle transfer (no more than 4 drop offs before ours). The coach to the hotel actually made 6 drop offs before ours. I contacted Holiday Extras and to be fair they took it up with Hoppa and were provided with a schedule by Hoppa which showed that the coach was only scheduled to make 4 drop offs before ours - doesn't change the fact that it made 6 and that we didn't get what we paid for. Whether the driver or the company but someone is not being honest.

Update following Hoppa response below:
Presumably Hoppa "attending to this" doesn't involve me as two months down the line they've made no effort to find out who I am or to contact me - a lip service response aimed not for me but solely for people who might read this review, very cynical.

I booked with hoppa in august this year for my trip to ibiza the price was reasonable and was worth booking as cab can be be expensive in ibiza. Well we missed our flight I had not actually thought to call hoppa as I was busy trying to organise another flight and was ready to take a loss on our booking for our pick up. But then last minute we decided to call them to at least inform them that we wont be at the airport as we missed our flight but we will still need our return pick up at the hotel for our return flights. I spoke to nhla (I think that is how u spell the ladys name) she was so helpful and put a note on the system and then before I went to hang up she said hold the line I can double check if we can get u another shuttle at the later time we was arriving. We was in luck there was two spaces left I was so grateful as she did not have to do that and it was at no extra cost.Thank you again its little things like that that make your journey less stressful. The drivers were also very professional and on time, the shuttles were clean and had nice air con which was needed in the heat... we will be definitely booking with hoppa again! :-)

Bus did not come and I was not picked up from the hotel.
I then tried in vain to reach the local partner by phone. After waiting 20 minutes on the phone, I called Office in England. The staff advised me to take a taxi immediately and drive to the airport. On the cost (65 euros), I am now sitting, as Hoppa responded to neither calls nor emails.

Booked travel arrangements with this company, there was a mistake on their system which they agreed to sorted. A few days later it still hadn t been sorted and conveniently the only way it could be sorted is if I cancelled and rebooked which means I had to pay a 25% cancellation fee. There overall customer service was very unhelpful and they didn t seem interested in helping. Won t be using there services again

I've used hoppa twice now. Once in Krakow and once in Albuferia. I intend to use them again whenever I travel. They take the hassle out of transfers and you know what you're paying up front.

We specifically booked with Hoppa to accommodate 1...

We specifically booked with Hoppa to accommodate 10 of us with 2 car seats for transfers from jfk. We were held up in jfk security and the local provider left without us, as Hoppa said that they didn t have my contact details (which was incorrect, as they called me on them 3 days later).

The dedicated resort help desk was in fact in South Africa, and the response I received from them was that we had to sort ourselves out. There was no resolution and after a long flight with 2 infants this isn t the help you want to receive from a help desk (at international call rates).

The service we paid for was not received, and as such I cannot and will not recommend them. They tried to put the blame at our door, and didn t offer any solutions. The only time they contacted me was to see if we wanted a return transfer 2 hours after they should have picked us up (on the number that they said they didn t have?!?!)

Booked a hoopa service for a pickup and drop off at hurghada airport for 10 people. The service didnt show up. After numerous phone calls to the local handler, I was told it would arrive in 10 mins, 20 mins later....nothing. numerous calls and numerous phone calls where I was fed lies, the service didnt show up. Had to organize my own transfer in the end. Rang hoppa and told them what I thought, they said they would refund the transfer. I then told them I didnt have confidence in their service and will organize my own transfer back. They then told me that they would only refund half of the fair. This after being left in a hot country with 2 children and two elder people for almost 2 hours and then having to fork out for my own taxi and the cost of the calls trying to get the issue resolved. Poor customer service , terrible service overall. I've used multiple transfer companies in the past , Hoppa is by far the worse. Avoid avoid avoid.

Still haven't received the partial refund that was promised.

Have to say I was shocked with my last booking wit...

Have to say I was shocked with my last booking with Hoppa! I'd been using them for years but on our last holiday the coach from our hotel never arrived! We were standing there waiting for an hour (we were also 20 mins early so waited 40 mins after the scheduled pick up time). We registered a complaint & a company called Feefo sent us a Google maps screen shot saying the bus stopped there but apparently we were not there which is a joke! So we never got the refund back for the journey we paid for & no response to emails either... Such a shame as they were always great before & like u say, I used many times but never again.

On a plus I am a Liverpool fan & I would have missed the last half hour of the match against Palace & we could see the match across the street on a huge screen... Because the coach never arrived I got to see the whole match!

So then we had to get an emergency taxi & pay 25 or we would have missed our flight.

Cheers Hoppa! Took my money, lied saying you arrived & then I had the worry of missing the flight & extra money wasted on a cab!

Quick minibus transfer from Alicante to Benidorm, full bus on way back. Both clean tidy vehicles, prompt arrivals. Never had an issue with Hoppa after many, many trips

Best value we could find, contacted us in Spain to confirm pick up time

The pricing shown on the website is not a true reflection as they charge extra for everything, a bit like Ryanair.

The customer service team is abysmal and they make no apologies or excuses for their pricing structure, a like it or lump it attitude.

I will never use this service again and will use local providers only in future.

We have used hoppa frequently in the past & always been very satisfied.This time there was a problem in that we needed to amend our booking-- I was unable to do so on line but eventually the problem was solved& there were a couple of follow up emails to confirm that everything was OK.Well done to your help desk

Have used Hoppa frequently for the last few years and have only had one problem which was resolved immediately and to our satisfaction.Find the site very easy to use and book.Drivers are friendly and courteous and always prompt.Also think Hoppa represents very good value and reliability.Will be using again in October.

Honesty is very important from a customer's and business perspective. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend hoppa after numerous calls, messages and promised emails from hoppa that were never sent.

If your flight is cancelled due technical issues and you call the main office 5 hours ahead of your scheduled taxi pickup at the airport to notify of the situation, don't expect any consideration or anything near decent customer service.

It's really pathetic to take economic advantage of a courteous customer who missed a flight and still called to update on status.

Simply great service. It does what it says on the tin. Transport waiting for us on arrival at the airport. Polite and very safe driver. Arrived 3 minutes early for pick up at resort and again a very courteous and safe driver.
Certainly recommend them.

DO NOT USE this company for a transfer if you are going to Turkey! I have never been treated so awfully in my entire life. Both when I landed and when I called to confirm the pick up time. Even the drivers were rude and kept getting lost. What a terrible experience, do avoid!

Very disappointed with hoppa, when we arrived at Palma airport we were told the charge was incorrect and related to a completely different area to where we were going and had to pay 21 euros extra at the desk. Our driver was going off duty so we had to wait for another driver to turn up and instead of a car it was a mini bus with a very high step which made it difficult for us seniors to get in. It would have been cheaper and quicker to just get in a taxi at the airport, there are many available.

Very bad service. We waited an hour for the bus to arrive for a trip from the airport to the hotel that lasts 40 minutes, forcing us to stay standing and in full sun because if the driver did not see us at the stop or bother to go. This was reported by an agent who treated us in very bad ways after trying to ignore us.
On the way back from the hotel to the airport, approximately 40 minutes, and with the departure of the flight at 1:00 pm. We were picked up at 9:00 h. in the morning, that is, four hours before takeoff. Unacceptable. We do not recommend this company and we will not hire it again.

I have been using Hoppa for quite some time in various destinations and have found them to be most reliable, also the ease of booking and the ability to find your return pick up on thier web page most convenient. I shall continue to book all my transfers with Hoppa. well done Hoppa
