Holmes Honda recieved excellent ratings from me because it is an excellent dealership! My salesman Luther Grisham and his manager Derrick Addison worked very hard to get me into the vehicle that I wanted. They stayed two hours after the dealership closed on a Saturday for me, plus the financial manager came in the next day (Sunday) to work out a budget that I could afford. Since purchasing my vehicle, I've referred two of my co-workers to Holmes Honda and they purchased vehicles also. The entire staff is professional, friendly, courteous, and very helpful. Thank you Holmes Honda for making me feel like I was family!

Just bought my second vehicle from Holmes Honda. My first was a 2013 Civic, which I loved, but after having our first baby, it was time for an upgrade. Hal Pennington did an excellent job making sure we found the perfect (for us!) family vehicle. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and really worked with us to make sure everything was a great fit for our family. We re super happy with our new Honda Passport and are already enjoying all the extra space and family friendly features. Everyone I have dealt with over the last 6 years has been extremely professional and courteous and I can wholeheartedly recommend Holmes Honda and Hal Pennington to anyone in the market for a new car!

The best car dealership in town and probably the best Honda dealership in the ArkLaTex! Cayla McMillan my customer relations lady & Jennifer Bradley our saleswoman were awesome from start to finish! They kept in touch and worked with us from December to March to make sure my wife's vehicle needs were taken care of! Even our finance guy Mr. Edward was great! I've been dealing with Holmes Honda for a long time and will continue! I forgot to mention Mr. Jason Norman who worked the deal and he was awesome as well! Rather you are black, white, latino.....etc everybody is treated the same and with the up most respect! Holmes Honda is our dealership and I'm very proud to say it!

Unacceptable. I dropped my car for a safety recall...

Unacceptable. I dropped my car for a safety recall that should take about 30 minutes. I dropped it at 10:30 am, they said it'd be ready in about 2 hours. After not hearing from them, I contact them and the say they're trying to get it ready by 3. Got there shortly after 3 and then they say it's gonna be like 45 more minutes? Seriously? Talked to a manager and now it's gonna be ready in 10 minutes. The worst part? It's not the first time they do something like that! I give two stars because the employees responded to me respectfully. But that's about it. Seriously considering going somewhere else when I will need to buy my next car. And definitely do not recommend them to service your car.

My Mom bought a new 2007 Honda Accord at Holmes and loved it but I was.driving and an idiot pulled out on me and car was totalled. So Mom found a used 2006 Civic with 70k.We used Holmes for service cause we thought they were the best.Her Civic was wearing tires on inside of tread and we asked Reid (service advisor) to have it checked.Holmes mechanics always said it needed tires and alignment.That was back in 02/2010 when she started taking it there.There was a TSB08-001 on the Civics about upper control arm. on rear being too short in design and camber was negative or tires leaned out causing inside to wear prematurely.Honda had a class action suit filed on this problem that ended May 2014.Mom never got a letter because she was 2nd owner.But in 3 years she had car serviced at Holmes and asked about this problem but nobody ever mentioned it.When confronted about it in 11/2016 after civil suit ended they did offer to pay for control arms and we pay labor.By then I lost faith and went elsewhere and had it done.Holmes should have told us about the TSB and Mom's car would have been fixed free.But she ended up paying $640 for new tires and installation of Control Arms.I can't believe they knew about the TSB.on these tires and nobody ever told us about it in 3 years of going there.I will still buy a Honda vehicle cause I like them but I lost faith in Holmes as being the Best in service.

We were there today to look at 2 different cars. She wanted to downsize and get a used CR-V, we were there for 2 hours and didn't even get to sit in a car. They showed us a CR-V that was the exact same car with more miles then our current car for the same price. We made it very clear to downsize. Regardless, i wanted to look at the 4 door Si and when i asked to take a look at one, the sales manager yelled from across the dealer "he just wants a joyride just take him around the block". never have i been so insulted and embarrassed. I have been a Honda guy my entire life and have owned 6 of them from integras to eg hatches to em1's and currently an acura TL. Never again will i buy from this dealer. DISGUSTED. Note, I was there with my girlfriend and we are on two separate budgets and are both currently looking for new vehicles.

I have purchased 3 Hondas and leased 6 Hondas sinc...

I have purchased 3 Hondas and leased 6 Hondas since 1992. All of these Hondas were purchased at Holmes. I have had 1 Prelude, 2 Accords, 2 Odysseys, 2 Pilots, and 2 Crosstours. I just came off the lot with my second Crosstour. I have loved every one of my Hondas and have never had one of them in the shop other than routine maintenance. I won't use any other service department other than at Holmes...they have never came back and told me I needed something I didn't, in fact on two occassions I went in wanting early service before going to Dallas and they reassured me there was no need and I would only be spending money I could spend in Dallas. :) About every third car I will venture out to the other dealerships to see what is out there. After driving 6 different cars from different dealerships this go around, no one could come close to the car I was in and the price I was offered at Holmes Honda. In fact one dealership came out and told me "until you just really want something other than a Honda and ready to put more money down or higher payments you aren't going to find anyone that can match the deals you are being offered at Honda." Funny thing about it, even after driving luxury vehicles I found myself anxious to get back in my crosstour...I realized then it didn't matter the deal anyone could give me. I pulled up to Holmes after a 12 hour day of car shopping and thought to myself, "finally home!" . I have worked with Mark Johnson since I purchased my very first vehicle in 1992, no one I trust more! Zach was my latest sales person and he was great, eager to do anything to make the experience fun and easy! All of my sales people in the past have been great. I know I sound like I work for Honda but I don't, although I have considered it just because I believe in the Honda and it would be easy for me to sale it. That being said...please take a drive in the crosstour. I love it even more after my last car shopping experience. No other car I drove matched it. I found you either were purchasing a luxury car or a sporty drive. Honda was able to combine the two into one great car! You will get behind the wheel and want to drive it like a sports car but you'll feel like your riding in a luxury car! Don't believe me? Go see for yourself! :) I just can't say enough about this place!

Car shopping has always been a task I dreaded, which is one reason why I hadn't done it in more than 13 years ... but it would be a gross understatement just to say Charles Powell changed that this past week for my wife and I. We knew we wanted to lease two vehicles to replace our two aged cars. We thought we knew what we wanted from looking online, but became less sure as we looked at the myriad of models, colors and trim levels to choose from. It was apparent very soon after meeting Charles that he understood how daunting this process was for us, and we were soon put at ease by his genuinely kind, friendly and reassuring personality. We felt from the beginning that he was "on our side".
A car salesman s goal is, of course to sell cars, but Charles made it clear with his talk and demeanor that he was as much interested in putting each of us in the "right" car, as he was in selling a couple of cars. We looked at and drove (several times each) four different models in three separate visits. Charles was unwavering and patient in his efforts to help us (and I think even stayed past his bedtime one evening ;) ! Charles is very knowledgeable of all the models, and is clear and concise in explaining the various technical features of each of them. We changed our minds a few times, but he calmly guided us through our capricious decision making process, assuring, at the end of the day, we had arrived in the driver s seats of two wonderful vehicles with the best balance of features and cost to match our wants and needs.
Our entire Holmes Honda leasing experience was pleasant indeed! From reception, test driving and sales team, ... including our exceptionally friendly and professional Sales Manager, Cody Crowder, and amiable and proficient F&I Manager, Lauren Corley.
We are confident that going forward, we will both enjoy driving our new vehicles, and our experience with the service department will, as well, be pleasant, courteous and competent. We look forward to, during those visits, saying Hi to all the people who were so kind to us.

Had made an appointment to have my oil changed and...

Had made an appointment to have my oil changed and was told who my point of contact would be. After waiting almost 40 minutes and finally being told that he was busy with another person, I was helped by someone else in the service department. I then began receiving text messages to my phone from Joey who I was Initially supposed to meet upon my arrival to the service area.
He continued to send me messages with links to see things like my cabin and engine air filters, non of which would work. I then received the final invoice and was instructed that I could pay through another link, which I declined to do until after I saw what was actually done.
The 3 star rating was given due in part to how impersonal my visit was. If you are a person's point of contact and you can't meet them at the beginning of their visit then, before they pay for services rendered, you make it a point to see them so that they can know that they are not just another number. When I went to pay for my service, it just so happens that Joey actually knew me because he worked with my wife at another establishment years ago. He really is a great guy, but Honda needs to bring back more human interaction then just the hi and bye that they are using now. Don't get me wrong. Technology is an AMAZING thing, but human interaction builds more trust and faith.

My name is Andreka Winston. I went in on Friday to Holmes Honda Shreveport searching for a nice car that would give me good gas mileage. Kameron Kennon and his awesome team found me the perfect car. At least I thought it was the perfect car until I went back to the dealership on Wednesday (today) to drop my car off to get the windows tinted. I was given a 2018 Accord loaner to go back to work in until my car was finished and when I made it back to work I didn t want my car anymore, I now wanted the 2018 loaner that I was driving. I called Kam to tell him that I wanted a 2018 instead of the car I had purchased. Kam along with his awesome team at Holmes Honda Shreveport made it happen and I left out of there today with a smile on my face. Wife and I were traveling from Alabama to Texas. Had absolutely no intentions of buying a new car. We looked up Holmes Honda and saw they had a good selection of 2018 Honda Odysseys of different colors, so we thought we would just drive by and look at the different color options.
It was raining that day and the Odysseys were at the front of the lot, far away from the showroom.
I look up and see this gentleman headed my way with an umbrella. I said " I see you brought and umbrella so you wouldn't get wet". He replied" I brought the umbrella so YOU would not get wet and you could look at the Odysseys.
That gentleman was John Young. I told John that we were just traveling through and were not interested in purchasing a car. He said "no problem, if you have any questions maybe I can answer them".
I began asking John questions about the vehicle and was impressed with his complete knowledge of the 2018 Odyssey.
Talking with John was such an enjoyable encounter (calm, honest, knowledgeable, patient, zero pressure) that we did end up buying an Obsidian blue 2018 Odyssey Touring. Thanks also to Cody Crowder (sales manager) for pricing the vehicle such that it did get my attention.
If you want to feel good about buying a car, talk to John Young. You wont be disappointed.

My sales person Charles was phenomenal. Used car manager low balled me on my trade big time. Had another dealer show me the mannheim auction value of my truck and an identical one sold for MORE than I was asking for my trade. Yet the manager told me the market value was the insulting offer he made me. The trade is the only reason a deal did not get made today making the visit extremely disappointing. Will not be recommending friends buy from here if they need to trade.

I purchased my CRV from Holmes Honda last year and it was a blissful experience. Working here, I got to see the entire process and I was surprised at how hard the salesman, customer relations managers, sales managers and finance managers work to get you what you need. Always professional, courteous and like family. I also went to the car wash today, after I had been in an accident that left my bumper damaged and I asked if it would make it worse if I brought it through. One of the attendants popped my bumper back into place (which he did not have to do at all) and saved me $1300 in repairs. No matter where I live, I will always go back to Holmes. A Holmes away from home.

We bought my mom her second Honda CRV and John Young was the man to see. The coolest part was the fact that John's dad sold her the first one. I was very impressed with how John was so sweet and caring with my mother, who is 84 and still going strong. He answered all her questions and concerns. She felt listened to and respected. We got exactly what we were looking for and the whole process was smooth and efficient. John Young is a special man and he definitely has that "something extra" that leaves you feeling you have been well taken care of.
We also got a good price for our trade in and all the details were handled well by their staff. Even the financing was easy and everything was made very clear, no confusion at all.
I highly recommend Holmes Honda if you are wanting a good deal from knowledgeable people who really care about their customers. Definitely the best experience I've had buying a car.

I have always enjoyed how easy things are at Holmes Honda, whether getting your car fixed or purchasing a new car. The salesmen and service department make everything a breeze for the customers. Last Friday was no different! I originally went in to simply get the front passenger headlight fixed on my 2012 Accord. But I walked away with a new car!!!! Thanks to Kameron Kennon noticing me walking around and looking at the new cars while I waited for my car to be serviced, I was able to walk out with a brand new 2019 Honda Civic! Kameron made the process so easy. What I appreciate the most is how he took the time to make sure I got the vehicle I truly wanted and understood how to use all of the new features of my Civic. I'm already so in love with my car! I will definitely tell anyone who is in the market for a new car to check out Holmes Honda!

He was helpful, nice, patient, and overall a great salesman. I would highly recommend James Glassy. He is the man you would want to go to. Also, I ABSOLUTELY loved and adored Moriah Mathis-Williams. We were searching for a vehicle and we were torn between a Camry and a Honda, we have had 3 Hondas in the past nothing was wrong with them we had accidents, test drive both vehicles waited a couple of months, hubby was looking for me a car for my bday in August so of course we went back to HH to see Kameron Kennon, my cousin, he is very knowledgeable about the vehicles, we bought an Accord, Kameron showed and demonstrated every feature that the vehicle has from the phone system to radio, Aux, everthing. Everyone at HH from the general manger ,mechanics, salesmen, Ins, everyone, I really appreciate Kameron soooooooooo much and I will recommend HH to anyone looking for a vehicle, that is HH in Shreveport. I purchased a 2017 Honda Pilot for my wife for Christmas on December 23rd of this year. This was the by far best car-buying experience I have ever had in my 25-year history of purchasing vehicles! Our salesperson, DJ Addison, was phenomenal! He gave me a great deal on an excellent package that included tons of extras. He followed through with all of the details of the deal we brokered over the phone and attended to every detail to make sure our vehicle was in tip-top condition when we arrived to sign the paperwork. We were in and out in less than an hour! I have to also mention, Jason Norman, my initial contact who continued to check in with me, and Edward Burnett, the finance manager who got me a super rate that was even lower than my credit union. The whole experience from start to finish was great!

UPDATE: 4 months later had issues with our new car won t go into detail but I want to give a big thanks to the sales manager Jamal Clark for our courtesy vehicle for those two weeks & a HUGE thanks to Quinton for the other new car we got . Even through all the trouble with the first car we bought this Honda dealership and staff went above and beyond to make this as easy as possible . I have a 2015 Honda Fit that will be 3 Yeats old o...

I have a 2015 Honda Fit that will be 3 Yeats old on July. First a little background. In December 2017 I took the car I m bacause there was a knocking noise. They discovered The strut was bad on the passenger side. They order the part I go back in so they can replace it, then they realize the driver side strut is bad. They again have to order it. Supposedly they did an alignment when both struts were replaced.

Fast forward to last week. I drop the car off for an oil change and the Auto Butler service. I get a call from the service advisor about other work needing to be done, one is I need a front end alignment. I tell him I just had one done in Dec. which should be in their computer. In the end my bill is ove $600.

I get in my car and my car is still reading 20% oil life. I call the service manage. Go back up to Honda, he shows me the oil was changed, they forgot to reset the oil button.
There was a trim piece that had faded badly that they were to replace under warranty. Again, I have to drop the car off for them to replace the trim. They bring me my car since I have been so inconvenienced with the back and forth. The guy drops off the car the hood is scratched and clumps of glue are all over the hood.

This is my first Honda. Service sucks! I just purchased a Volvo in December. My understanding is the dealership is owned by the same owner. So I m not sure what to expect when the Volvo needs service.

I suggest go to a different dealership, unless you don t mind using a dealer you cannot trust that does lousy service.

I ve always had a great experience at Holmes Honda in both Shreveport and Bossier. I go there for all of my Honda needs and servicing. The staff are exceptionally well trained and offer incredible customer service. I would definitely have to say that Wesley Stinson, the Assistant Service Manager, always goes above and beyond to make sure customers are taken care of. When working with him on my vehicle needs, he was through in his explanation and gave detailed descriptions of everything that was serviced. If any discrepancies happened, like the mechanics found an issue, he always sent pictures and gave advice on what would be appropriate and cost efficient. I would highly recommend going to Holmes Honda and working with Wesley Stinson on any of your vehicle needs or questions!

I sent out for price quotes to neighboring dealers...

I sent out for price quotes to neighboring dealerships (almost all of LA), and Holmes Honda had the best deal around. The other dealerships could NOT beat or match their price. I m not a fan of the car buying process with negotiating and the long wait times at dealership, but I ve had a great experience thanks to Holmes Honda s best, Paige and Nick. From the initial price quote request, Paige and her team were prompt to respond. I appreciate the personalized email messages, her fulfilling my requests (detailed price breakdown, communicating via email, etc.), and their offer for convenience. Paige and Nick made this transaction as smooth as possible and were patient with my many questions. I expected them to have other people deliver my car (the ultimate deciding factor as I live 3 hours away from the dealership) but Nick personally came to deliver it. Their service extended past the end of sale with them checking in with me afterwards.

The only part of this experience that could be improved is the communication with their finance person, Layne. He was hard to reach and I didn t hear back from him much. Overall, I am impressed with the outstanding service, convenience, and diligence from Holmes Honda. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a vehicle.

It is so good at H/H that I am stunned! They put class back into the car biz. This was not my first time to buy a car so I know FIRST CLASS when I see it!!! Hot RED Honda Civic SI Navi is the bomb! It reminds me of a Mid 80s 300ZX with all the Hi Tech dash. It is just as peppy if not faster than the old Zs too! Fun put back into a car again with the H/H team.

I love my new purchase! Holmes has a very friendly and helpful atmosphere. My salesman, Patrick Latin, was extremely knowledgeable and a great asset in my purchase experience. His explanation of the car s history and condition ultimately sold me over. I felt that he was genuinely concerned about me getting the best vehicle for me instead just trying to sale me a car. I would recommend he and Holmes to anyone!

Update 3/30/19: Looks like I spoke too soon!

These last past 3 weeks have been pure hell! I purchased my Cadillac XTS on 3/11. Once I was able to continue driving it, I hear noise coming from near the front right wheel. I called Holmes and notified them immediately by Wednesday 3/13. I was told to take it to local Cadillac dealerships, everything should be fine. Well I made an appointment, got it over to a certified Cadillac dealer and was told that there were problems with the struts and that was causing, and would continue to cause problems with driving. They estimated about $2000 in repairs! Not including the cost of diagnostic and me having to take off work because I didn t want the problems to be assessed too far from when I brought the car. Holmes advises me at this point.. Oh that seems a little pricey, take it to another certified dealer. So I take off another morning from work, take my car to another dealer, who diagnoses the same problem and a few dollars (literally) cheaper than the first dealership. Not to mention I ve now paid for two diagnostic examinations. I send this paperwork in. Holmes shifts the blame elsewhere. Does nothing to attempt to accommodate or help this customer, who was just so valued days before; not the helpful response has shifted to, that s your problem. What troubles me most is that everyone I talked to at the dealerships before I brought the vehicle it were assuring me, This car has been through a thorough inspection and everything on this car is in tip top shape, definitely to my detriment! Only to find out that that could be the furthest from the truth! Now I have to drive from Leland, MS where I practice law back to Louisiana to get this part fixed. Having to take off another day of work and expense for me. Holmes wouldn t even consider allowing me a loaner vehicle while my car is to be fixed so I wouldn t have to miss work AGAIN! I thought that would be the least they would have offered for three weeks of hell, to try and rectify the problem! I believe in transparency and I thought that it would be a disservice for anyone to read my review and be misled. I definitely spoke to fast, and regret my decision to shop with Holmes!

If you are in the market for a new or pre-owned vehicle and you want a sales representative that isn't pushy, is very knowledgeable and still provides first class service after the sale - then you must see Jason Norman. By far, he is hands down the best sales rep I have ever dealt with.

From start to finish, Jason Norman made certain that I was informed and happy with the whole experience. After the sale, he is still here to answer questions and even delivered my license plate to my job without having to ask him.

Get to Holmes Honda and see Jason Norman! This is my second new Honda in the last 7 years and as long as he's there, I'll keep going back!

Good job Seth. I just purchased a 2017 Honda Pilot EX-L from Holmes Honda. Been looking at different vehicles and my girlfriend saw this one online and went to take a look. Now this review is from the girlfriend, Glynis. When I arrived there on Saturday, Seth Pitre was the first salesperson to approach me. I told him what I wanted to look at and he brought the car up front immediately. He was so nice and friendly, answered all the questions my son threw at him and even recovered my grandson's mardi gras beads he dropped in the parking lot! I didn't have time to test drive that day, so I got his card and said I would be back.

On Monday, I went back, drove the car, loved it.. Gary bought it haha!
Seth made sure that I had everything I wanted on the new car. He was very friendly to me and to Gary throughout the purchasing process.
Seth is a very personable yet professional guy and I would ask for him again. Thanks again to Seth & staff for making my first Honda purchase enjoyable!

Seth and Kane made buying a car a great experience. They were both very respectful and not pushy at all. They both provided outstanding customer service. They made buying s car so easy. My grandmother cannot be in the sun for long periods of time. Seth pulled the vechiles inside for her to look at. They were the only delearship that would do this for her. I would highly recommend Holmes Honda to everyone.

Matt Farran was our salesman and he was one of the nicest and straight forward salesmen I have dealt with. He got me the price I wanted adn was very helpful when delivering the vehicle.
