This was my first visit to this dealer. Engine light was on and I wanted an oil change. My car needed a catalytic converter and was supposed to take one day. Well 3 days later they asked me if I wanted a loaner! So I contacted the manager who had my car ready next day. Next problem was my engine light was on saying 30% oil. Other lights began to come on too. So I called and had to go back to have light reset. Then rep tells me the other lights are on because I need more work because my car is so many thousand miles but I pointed out that my car doesn't have that mileage. Other lights also went off with the reset. He had a bad attitude because I complained. They later emailed me about my experience and after I told them via email, the reply was that I was a good sport. I have nothing against this dealership. I just wanted my car fixed. So my experience here was not good at all.

I went to Holmes Honda looking to purchase a 2011 BMW that I saw online and ended up buying a 2017 Honda Accord sport thanks to my salesman John Young. He was nice, respectful, professional, and most importantly very knowledgeable about the product I was looking to purchase. The buying process was a little lengthy due to addition things the dealership kept requesting that I bring in. Overall John Young made sure that this lengthy process ran as smooth as possible. I never once had to contact him. He contacted me daily to update me on where we were in the process and made sure that any concerns I had were taken care of. Also Eugene Boyd played a major role in closing this deal as well. I was ready to walk away from my car deal because the money they wanted me to put down and the interest rate I was given were beyond ridiculous in my eyes and I didn't actually need a car I just wanted a new one. Eugene Boyd stepped in and he was able to get me the lowest possible interest rate and down payment. These are two very professional gentlemen who will go above and beyond to ensure the satisfaction of their customers and because of their level of professionalism I am happy to say that I am a customer of Holmes Honda. We have been shopping for my daughter a new car. She was wanting to make her first big girl purchase. Holmes honda was the last place we went to. The first car we liked was being purchased so we were leaving the parking lot. As we were leaving Michael Price stopped us to give us his card. We were gonna come back after the other car was through with the test drive. He told us there were to other civics available. He showed us the red one and of course my daughter fell in love. Michael was not pushy, did not hound us at all. Was the best experience in buying a car I have ever had. I will buy a car from Michael Price no matter where he works. I had the most stunning attractive young woman,the opposite of me give me a test drive on last monday the 17th I believe, I was so impressed with her polished delivery of the cars she showed me and that I test drove rookie or not I would recommend her highly to anyone looking to buy a Honda her name is Shereka Richardson look no further with her you won't be sorry. Holmes Honda is the first dealership that I have visited that has excellent customer service. They are about helping the customer. I just purchased a 2012 Honda Accord on Wednesday June 6. From the moment you walk in the door, the place looks and smells great. We came with our whole family and had complimentary drinks and snacks to keep them occupied and happy while we signed our paperwork which was an absolute breeze on their new docu pads. As with dealing with any car dealer. Our experience was very good. Our salesman, Tim Tomlinson, was great, he wasn't over-bearing or pushy. They made a fair offer on our trade-in versus trying to low ball it and had a good sales price which most of the time doesn't go hand in hand. Very impressed.

I started my search for my new Honda Odyssey using the TrueCar App and after putting in the necessary information, I was given 3 offers from various Honda dealers in my area. The offer from Holmes Honda was significantly lower than the next lowest offer, so I chose their dealership from which to receive my TrueCar certificate. The very next day I received a phone call from Holmes TrueCar representative and the rest is history. I now have a beautiful new van that fits my families lifestyle and it was one of the easiest car buying experiences I've ever had. Zach Parnell and Charles Powell worked to accommodate me with what I needed and what I wanted, but yet still kept me within my budget. Wonderful, the technician was very helpful and solved my problems

My salesman told me to bring my car in for an oil change at 10000, and I brought my car in today 10/3/2018 for a recall for my back up camera. I asked the service advisor out of curiosity if I should wait to get my oil changed at 10000 miles or now. He asked if my oil light was on and I said yes. Then he said if the car tells you it s time go by the car. My point is, why would you tell me to wait 10000 for an oil change, which puts my car at risk for destroying my motor?!? I left one car brand to be treated better and it seems like I m receiving the same treatment here at Honda. Don t treat good people like they don t matter or if you don t care because the sale is final. That ll will definitely keep me from coming!!! Also, after getting my oil changed I had to return my car due to one of the technicians not replacing my oil cap after service was done. My car smelled like fuel was burning on the inside and my car was also smoking from under the hood. Mr. Mike, one of the managers asssited me with making arranges to have everything taken care of and Mrs. D from the service department took care of me as well!! Thanks guys.

This was without a doubt one of my worst buying experiences ever. Had I gotten a different sales "professional", I'm sure it would have been a much better outcome. In my opinion, a "professional" does not touch his customers. He does not make remarks that could be taken in a negative way and he does not try to demean you and make you look as though you have no idea of what is going on.

I did not want a vehicle with leather seats for my own personal reasons. I sat in a vehicle with leather interior because it was the only ones of that model that they had according to Ronnie Adams. He sat on the passenger side and rubbed the arm of my leather jacket and said you don't like leather seats but you like leather jackets. Then he proceeded to ask me if I didn't like the leather seats because I wear shorts and skirts. I said yes I don't like having to cover the seats and then I got out of the vehicle because at this point I was feeling very uncomfortable.

When he was giving me his "good" deal on the vehicle and my trade, I was totally set back by his lack of respect of me and in thinking that I would not know any better than to accept what he was trying to present to me. My vehicle is not by any means ragged out, yet he was offering me the trade price of a vehicle that would not be considered as even in good condition. I can understand that they can only allow so much on a new vehicle but his offer was in no way appealing or even decent enough to be considered and the way he talked to me was humiliating. I told him I was going to be shopping other dealerships as well and he proceeded to talk down the vehicles that I had planned to look at. I told him they were not the only dealership out there and I would be looking elsewhere. I had to ask him to get my keys 3 times before he got them for me. I will not be going back to this dealership.

I did receive a call from customer service asking about my experience there and I told her about it. She had the General Sales Manager to call me and I explained to him that this was in no way a pleasant experience.

Also, I'm wondering why the other reviews that were less than favorable are no longer on the site. I know personally of one review that was apparently removed. These reviews will be posted in other places. People read the reviews for a reason and they want to see the bad as well as the good.

The service at Holmes Honda is so excellent, that my husband and I came to see John Young twice in one weekend. He was such a pleasure to work with and I would recommend to all of my friends and family looking for a new car to come talk to John.

If I could give zero stars I would. Refused warranty claim on an issue with VCM/VTEC that bent a valve. Broke down my engine without any authorization and attempting to charge to put it back together. Pat Roach the rep from American Honda, like always, denies any warranty. They want almost $7,000 to fix a problem caused by crappy Honda engineering of VCM. DO NOT BUY A HONDA. DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE. They will do things to your car without authorization and if they break it, they blame you any way they can! They will not honor warranty claims. I have been a long time Honda owner and have been warned about their warranty denial. Spread the word! I defended Honda for years and will no longer do it. Get a Ford or anything else. Screw Honda and their crappy products that have gotten worse over the years.

It was WORTH IT!! We arrived at Holmes Honda and my car had been washed and was parked inside waiting for me. They thought of everything! Even parking my car inside incase it rained! We met Kane and he was super nice. Kane introduced us to Bo Free, our sales consultant. Bo was great! He made the buying process a breeze. He was knowledgeable, professional and made us feel welcome. He let me know that if I had a question about my new car and how to work all the new gadgets just to call him. He called me the next day to see if we made it home ok and how I liked my car. I LOVE IT! The whole experience was great. I wouldn't hesitate to drive the two hours again to get that level of service and friendly atmosphere again! I have not purchased a car Fromm Holmes Honda, but from what I have received while visiting the dealership was excellent. Jay (my salesman) and the wonderful lady at the front (Stephanie) was absolutely wonderful. They answered all my questions, if they was unsure of a question they went and looked it up for me knowing they had other customers to serve. There hard work and dedication to make sure I am satisfied was really phenomenal.

If I could give Holmes Honda more than 5 stars I would in a heartbeat. Everyone that my husband and I encountered from the moment we walked in to the moment we left had a smile on their face and were kind and helpful! Bo Free was our salesman and we could not be happier with his service. He made the buying process seamless, convenient and easy! We were in our brand new Accord Sport within an hour and a half. I thought I had grabbed everything out of my trade-in and Bo found my sunglasses, visor clip and a bunch of other things that I completely missed. He was extremely thorough and even showed me how to connect my phone to my new car via bluetooth. I will most definitely recommend him to my friends and family because he made the car buying experience an enjoyable one! Thank you, Bo!!! Moriah was also extremely helpful and kind and helped us add our new car to our insurance plan. Cody was also wonderful and extremely helpful and took his time to make sure we were understanding what he was explaining to us. I can't say enough good things about these people! Not even sure where to start. Went shopping for a vehicle. Found a 2017 GMC Acadia with low mileage at Honda. At first salesman was nice. I asked it it had 2 fobs was told it did. Asked if all recalls had been repaired was told they have asked if there when any other issues. Was told no. Decided to take a day and think about it. Got a text from salesman basically he tried to play a family member and I against each other. Fine let that slide. I ended up buy the car. Now I'm told there is no second fob and they will not supply one. Then not even after 30 day the vehicle starts having issues i call everyone is rude and very unhelpful. I ended up taking it to a GMC dealer. Update. Just spoke with a man from Honda. He truly knows what customer service is and he made everything right. Because of his outstanding customer service and manners I decided to change this from a 1 start review to a 4 star.

Awesome working with Jason Porterfield. We pulled up on a Saturday and left with a car that day. One stop and boom it was done! Not only did he show us everything we where looking for he and his team would not let us sign until they got us the best deal possible!! I mean we could of signed and been out of there. They said hey give us an extra day and see if we can do better. We came back and they blew my mind. I have not one complaint what so ever from the time I step foot on that lot. Amazing people and a amazing company. If you want a car go see Jason Porterfield at Holmes Honda!

Just bought my 2nd new Odyssey Touring Elite from Holmes and all I can say is that so far it has been the best vehicle we have ever owned sold by the best dealership I've ever been to. I love how Mark operates the dealership with such a total 1st class, world class type of experience. Can't say enough about the service department either and the integrity of Brian Wiggins who heads it all up and does a good job of communicating what's going on. Love this place, it feels like home!!

Great customer service. Salespersons try to fit you with the vehicle thats right for you more than trying to close a sale.

I have purchased 2 vehicle and thought I had found a good place to purchase cars. My second one was when I was taken for a ride. They told me they was giving me an extended warranty worth 2500. Come to find out it was in my loan. Come to find out months later my the extended warranty was going to run out before my factory warranty. So I went to the dealership to get my money back from a warranty that I didn't need and didn't want. After 7 months from the purchase and 1000 miles I only got back 1200 out of 2500. Buyers be aware of what you are promised. You most likely are paying for it one way or another.

2 weeks ago, I found myself facing the BEST car buying experience I have ever had. It all started with Kameron Kennon at Holmes Honda in Shreveport. Kam was walking out the front door as I arrived. Little did I know, he was on his was home. Instead of leaving, he remained dedicated to his job and helped me. Within 30 minutes, I had already test drove a 2020 Honda Civic Si and was sitting down doing paperwork. Kam was honest and upfront about everything from the time I met him. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything and was able to successfully answer every question I had. This was the 6 car I have purchased from a dealership, and when I tell you it was the best service I have ever had, it still would not be enough. I then moved to the office where Edward assisted me with signing. Edward was very polite, professional, and honest. He explained everything to me and not once seemed irritated or impatient (by this time, they had been closed for 30 minutes). Today, I returned to the dealership where I spoke with both, Edward and Kam, at the same time. I was able to thank them again for such a positive experience and atmosphere. Being there felt like I became a part of their family. I wish I could give every single detail, but it would take a lot longer.

Basically, if you re looking for a vehicle and you want the best rates and family to give you that, at least visit Holmes Honda in Shreveport. Ask for Kam and tell him I sent you!!

So incredibly happy with my purchase and the customer service at HH. Ronnie Adams and Kane McCullin worked hard to get me the exact car I wanted and I am so overjoyed with it and my experience at Holmes! If there was any difficulty with the financing I never knew it because there were literally no "hoops" for my husband and I to jump through with the process. The night before we picked out the car in person (after test driving them with Ronnie of course) and then filled out the application online that same night. Before lunch the next day we got the call saying the car was ours! Will most definitely be buying my next car from here! That is, if I don't keep this one. Btw my 2017 Civic "Turbo" is beautiful and my new obsession. Thank you so much guys!

Great experience at Holmes Honda thanks to John Young! As soon as I walked to the door he was there to greet me. He was very patient, attentive, knowledgeable and courteous.
