in 2016, hurricane Matthew damaged my home by the river pretty badly. My home insurance adjuster reviewed my home and left $3,000 after deductible. Fred Martinez of Five Star Claims Adjusting came over and

As president of our condo association, and an inexperienced one at that, we were having trouble dealing with our insurance company after a hurricane and making little progress toward what we felt was a fair settlement. Fred and Roger came quickly, made an excellent presentation as to what they felt they could do for us and they were hired. They did not disappoint. They went to work immediately in surveying the damage to our structure and found the obvious but much more than an inexperienced layman like myself would have ever found on my/our own. Did an excellent job, efficiently and throughly and got payment to our association much more than our board would ever have gotten or known to claim. Highly recommend. Well I am glad many of you had positive results from Five Star because I did not. Yes they help in certain situations but they were so over zealous with what they put down as needing repair and so on in my house the insurance company laughed. Only three wet spots on the ceilings in three rooms nothing on the floor. No fallen sheet rock or insulation and just some wet areas by a couple of windows and one wet wall. That was all fixed with the new roof te insurance paid for. I checked the insulation in those areas and it was all fine.
Now I am waiting for a release of contract after I fired them and the lawyer , that did nothing for a year. I had Frederico and the switched me to some young person that all he knows how to do is argue and thinks he is gods gift. This giy is a broken record and I had to ask him to stop talking and listen and that the need for him to contact the lawyer is not necessary and I had to send all the letters back to the company again. He finally listened and learned what i had to tell him. I cannot get the Managers or CEO to talk to me and all I get is grief from the other person..
I fired them in November of 2018 and still waiting for my release of contract. Next step is the DBPR.

Mr. Martin Fleitas has been the most professional and dedicated to his job. He responded to the most minimal questions or concerns immediately. I felt like I was a VIP client. He is awesome. I have praised him with friends and family. This was a devastating occurrence with my property damage but Mr. Fleitas was so comforting and positive!

Whole process took months longer than I'd like but got amazing results. They know their stuff... hope I never have to deal with insurance again but if I do I know who to call first.

We experienced significant damage from hurricane Irma. We tried working with insurance company directly at first but when their first offer came back below our deductible we knew we needed professional assistance. Martin Fleitas is the best. Very knowledgeable and professional. Even when my insurance company only wanted to give me less than $2000. Martin and Five Star got me more than $22000. I have my new roof.

Was referred to Five Star through a roofing contractor. Not too pleased with results. They were unable to settle my insurance claim and I needed to get legal representation, who then settled my claim. Even though Five Star did not get the claim settled they still took 20% of the settlement amount. I could understand if they settled the claim but they did not and still wanted the 20%. Why would they still get 20% if they did not actually settle the claim????? I think they should reduce their settlement charge. Also, I think 20% is high and I should have done more research myself as I could have found another adjuster at 15%. Just sharing my story.

Megan was absolutely amazing and really believed in us that we could get a settlement! Our insurance denied us for a new roof even with a visible leak and hole in our ceiling. We reached out and the same day she contacted us. She went above and beyond to make sure we got the settlement we deserved for our home. I had the best experience with this company, especially, Scott Jarrell,our claims adjuster. My insurance company is known to be extremely difficult to work with. They never returned my phone calls or emails over three months. The insurance company never responded after sending me the claim back that said they owe us nothing as our 10k deductible will cover the losses from Irma. I hired Scott from Five Star and within four months he put together a solid claim case for us and got us a check that will cover everything we need to get fixed. Scott was great about calling us every step of the way to let us know what was going on. I never had to initiate a phone call to ask what was going on. If there were any issues that he had questions about he never hesitated to ask a supervisor for help. I love that about him because his professionalism really helped our case. He is experienced,seasoned,professional and took a load of stress off of me. I am so happy I went with them. There is no way I could ve succeeded on my own because I do not have the knowledge he had to fight my claim so successfully.

My homeowners insurance company determined the damage to my roof to be merely a repair costing less than my deductible, so I would get nothing out of my claim. After Five Star got involved, they took over and handled everything with a very quick turnaround, negotiations, open communication with me throughout the process, and a desirable resolution. My re-opened claim award ended up being enough money to get my entire roof replaced, get all new windows on my house, and replace most of the interior flooring in my house. Curtis Parry at Five Star Claims Adjusting took $30,000 from us and has failed to finalize our appraisal so we cannot get our funds to do the work he's already been paid for. Federico (Fred) Martinez was meticulous in his inspection, inside and out, and worked for the benefit of me and my home. An absolute pro! My insurance company kept screwing around with getting our roof repaired after a hail storm. Chuck Keith is a man of Integrity and was great to work with as our Insurance Advocate. Our Insurance Company stated the he was the most professional Public Adjuster they had ever worked with. The best decision I made after water damage ruined two rooms in my townhouse was to hire Five Star Claims. Hurricane Irma hit our home pretty hard here in Central Fla. I filed with my homeowners insurance a claim. They paid a very small amount I disputed it twice to no avail.
We happened upon five star claims at the Orlando convention Center during a home show. We signed on and got everything that we requested from our insurance company. I would highly recommend you use them. I do not recall the gentleman s name that came to my home to write up the estimate but he was incredibly encouraging and very helpful and delivered on every promise he said to me.
I am now having my roof, solar panels, wood floors, shower stall all redone with my insurance settlement. To say the least they got EVERYTHING finally paid for to be repaired.

My first experience with a claims adjuster. My insurance company denied my claim after they requested I have a roofer come and inspect the roof. The roofer said I had damage to my roof after a hail storm on March 27,2019. I had chosen a reputable roofing company so I was inclined to believe what they said. The inspector that was sent out by insurance company, just said "your roof is pretty new" so you do not need a new roof. I am thankful that the Roofing company recommended Five Stars and Bryan Henderson as I have never been in this position. Bryan really knew the business and how to navigate through the process. Michael Scott Jarrell at five Star did a great job getting the settlement from our insurance company for damages from a Hurricane. I ve tried working directly with insurance companies in the past and was not successful. So when a neighbor recommended five star I thought I d give them a shot. I was very pleased at the professionalism and the ownership they took of my claim. It was a very long process but they remained optimistic and kept reassuring me. We were referred to 5 Star in September of 2018 by Pit Crew Roofing. During the contract signing an inspection was performed and recorded for the damage involved. At that time I informed 5 Star that I expected to put my house on the market by March 2019 and was assured by Freddy they would be done by my drop date. Horrible customer service. Freddy was taken off of my project and it was assigned to someone else without us being informed. In November of 2018. In January of 2019 we were contacted to reschedlue the INITIAL inspection by a Matt. The inspection was performed and I had to start calling 5 Star to chase their progress. February 2019 they supposedly submitted the adjustment to my insurance company and went radio silent again. Then after finally getting through to 5 Star they started with the "You cant contact us directly you have to go through your roofer for progress status." To which my roofer wasnt informed. This morning I found out my roofer fired 5-Star and is seeking legal action against 5 Star.
Here we are in June 2019 and I missed my target to sell my house and be into a new house by the time my children start school in August 2019.

These folks are wonderful! I didn't want to try to rip off my insurance company, I just wanted enough to fully cover my losses. Five Star sent out an inspector who was extremely thorough. He found damage that my insurance company's first adjuster did not. The adjuster from Five Star ~ Jeremy Dragon ~ was very knowledgeable, professional and reassuring. He did not make any wild promises, but told me what I could and should reasonably expect in terms of a settlement. He took care of all the paperwork! When the ins.co. sent another adjuster, Jeremy met them here and pointed out things that had been overlooked. They followed up and kept me informed the whole time my claim was being processed. I am extremely pleased with the additional payment I received! I can wholeheartedly recommend these folks. They were able to get all the monies to repair my property that I could not get directly with the insurance company by myself. 5 star has all the resources from GCs, engineers and lawyers to make sure all the damage is repaired. I will never try to do my own claims again.

After our home insurance company offered us less than the deductible for our hurricane damaged roof, we were at a loss on what to do, than Seth from Five Star knocked at our door. Seth was able to get enough to replace the roof and for other damage do to the hurricane. We don't know what we would have done without Seth and Five Star, he really saved us and our home.

Nelson at 5-Star worked for NINE months to get the insurance company to pay for our new roof as a result of hail damage. Damage we didn t know we had, and didn t think was even covered by our insurance company (they didn t either, initially!).
From understanding our policy, to estimating the damage, filing the claim, and MONTHS of back and forth, he worked hard to get us to a mediation meeting and a check for the FULL REPAIR COST!

We were about to give up on replacing our roof since our insurance company (TowerHill) denied our claim. They sent an engineer (James Smith) to assess the roof. He put together a report that basically stated our roof was not properly installed when the house was built and any extra damage caused by a hail storm did not matter.
Our roof had some leaks and we were just looking to fix them. Three roofing contractors told us our roof needed to be replaced but it was our third roofing consultant that told us that our roof was damaged and should be covered by insurance and they recommended Five Star. We contacted Five Stars and Talbot came the next day. Five Star was extremely professional and timely throughout the entire process. Talbot climbed on our roof, took pictures, did a very thorough analysis and checked every room in our house. The next day, we got a 57-page report about our roof in detail of what needed to be fixed. In a week, we submitted the paperwork to TowerHill. When the claim was denied Five Stars helped us prepare for the lawsuit. They assisted us in finding our attorney (William Terry). Five Stars report was so comprehensive that the Insurance company had no choice but to settle with us before we went to court.
Unfortunately, companies play the odds that people won t fight back but in our case we had three roofing companies and Five Star telling us that our roof was damaged and needed replacing. Glad that Five Star exists to help those in situations like ours.

After two years and my insurance company dropping me trying to blame my roof damage on my palm tree in front of my house I have Star Claims adjuster Scott came out filed a claim obtained a lawyer for me and I got all the funds to replace my roof which was much needed. I was in shock when the insurance company we signed with decided after 3 months of being insured drop me from the insurance due to missing shingles on my roof. The roof was intact upon purchasing the home and they would have seen that if they inspected the home prior to the wind storm that happened. After being denied by our insurance company, we contacted Five Star for help and worked with Pete Price. Pete and his people were awesome. They worked very hard to solve our claim, and were constantly in contact with us to keep us in the loop.
Our claim required the assistance of an attorney to fight the insurance company, and Pete and his people were on it. They brought on legal counsel that knew the ins and outs of insurance company litigation, and in the end we were able to receive a settlement amount that covered all our expenses to fix our damages.

Five stars fixed the wrong my insurance company had done to me. After getting my claim denied five stars took the case and fought the insurance, connected me with the right lawyer and at the end the insurance covered the damages as the should have. Five stars made the process easy, I didnt have to do anything, they did all the fighting for me and got me my money.

I had a problem with the insurance company's initial assessment of my damaged roof. They offered me a very small amount for a settlement. After taking to Daniel Hague from FIVE STAR ,he took a look at the damage to the roof and reassured me he could get me a better settlement. After a few weeks I was able to get enough of a settlement to replace the whole roof. With no out of pocket expenses. I would highly recommend Daniel and Five STAR to anyone who feels that they were not treated fairly by their insurance company!!!
