We were about to give up on replacing our roof since our insurance company (TowerHill) denied our claim. They sent an engineer (James Smith) to assess the roof. He put together a report that basically stated our roof was not properly installed when the house was built and any extra damage caused by a hail storm did not matter.
Our roof had some leaks and we were just looking to fix them. Three roofing contractors told us our roof needed to be replaced but it was our third roofing consultant that told us that our roof was damaged and should be covered by insurance and they recommended Five Star. We contacted Five Stars and Talbot came the next day. Five Star was extremely professional and timely throughout the entire process. Talbot climbed on our roof, took pictures, did a very thorough analysis and checked every room in our house. The next day, we got a 57-page report about our roof in detail of what needed to be fixed. In a week, we submitted the paperwork to TowerHill. When the claim was denied Five Stars helped us prepare for the lawsuit. They assisted us in finding our attorney (William Terry). Five Stars report was so comprehensive that the Insurance company had no choice but to settle with us before we went to court.
Unfortunately, companies play the odds that people won t fight back but in our case we had three roofing companies and Five Star telling us that our roof was damaged and needed replacing. Glad that Five Star exists to help those in situations like ours.
