Was referred to Five Star through a roofing contractor. Not too pleased with results. They were unable to settle my insurance claim and I needed to get legal representation, who then settled my claim. Even though Five Star did not get the claim settled they still took 20% of the settlement amount. I could understand if they settled the claim but they did not and still wanted the 20%. Why would they still get 20% if they did not actually settle the claim????? I think they should reduce their settlement charge. Also, I think 20% is high and I should have done more research myself as I could have found another adjuster at 15%. Just sharing my story.
