Caring drs. and took time to explain my pets condition . Nice clinic.
Caring drs. and took time to explain my pets condition . Nice clinic.
Cannot say enough good things about this animal clinic and their entire staff. My experience from the first phone call to completing my cat's visit was stellar. My adopted cat is not very social and this was his first annual check up. The vet tech, Kristen and Dr Quick made the experience stellar for both of us. Rates were reasonable and overall experience excellent. Thanks for taking good care of JJ.
They are very friendly and good with the animals and people who go to see them.
Cannot say THANK YOU enough to the wonderful staff and Dr Anna Flocken who helped us while traveling with a new puppy. They were able work us in to evaluate our new addition and never rushed us, answered all of our questions and help us nurse our baby boy back to health. If I lived in Tuscon, this would be the ONLY place I would go. 10 STARS ALL THE WAY!!!!
If my little Raider could talk, I'm sure he would thank them as well.
Our dog recently passed, and the vet came out to the car to talk to my wife about Duncan. She's was so kind and thoughtful at our loss.
Pantano Animal Clinic has always taken amazing care with my pets. They seem to genuinely love animals and I always leave knowing my dog and cats have had excellent care and diagnoses. They are always very up front with costs and estimates are shown before any procedures take place. Their prices are very fair as well. This is definitely the best veterinary office on the east side of Tucson.
This is the absolute best vet clinic! They never gave up, and saved my older cat. They truly love animals. The entire staff is fabulous. A special thank you to Chris and Jack :)
I love all the vets here everyone is really nice and does their best to help. They answered all my questions no matter how silly they seemed and they always listen to my concerns. Dr Lawton is super cool I really love this place.
Very good staff and vet fair price and extremely knowledgeable and caring for my pet.The Best
I called to see if they were spaying and neutering dogs. And when i kept asking questions about it, the woman on the phone gave me the most frustrating sigh. You can absolutely tell she was completely annoyed with my questions regarding my pet. I was thinking of bringing my puppy here to be taken care of but if they are THAT annoyed then ill take my business somewhere.
I have been taking my pugs to pantano for nineyears.
All are very caring and patient with me and. my dogs I have know the office manager for years and she is the most caring and kind person as are the ladies at the front counter. Dr Lawton, Chris and BC are wonderful.
The staff are loving and caring. Your pets are your family and treat them as such. Their care and compassion is evident in all they do.
Best Vet, I drive across town to have both my dogs seen here!!!
We recently adopted a Sulcata Tortoise, he had issues with his beak when we adopted him and dr. Lawton took a whole hour to help us fix him up and make sure we get him on the path to being healthy again! He goes in again next week to complete the beak trimming but wouldn't trust anyone else!!
They're great at what they do! So helpful and friendly. Sometimes a bit long on wait times but overall a good place!
The doctor seem concerned about the health of my dog, but they are not cheap place to go.
Would definitely not recommend this vet. Since Dr. Quick left, they are more concerned with money than the animal.
Went in because my dog had a sore in his mouth, Dr. Lent told me it was a valley fever lesion and that I had very little time left with my dog. I went home in tears thinking I had limited time left with my dog. Took him to a more reputable vet and found out it was just a spider bite.
Choose your vet carefully!
I would not recommend.
Another thing is that he did not show me how to distribute the medicine to the rats. It's not easy at all giving rats Baytril. When I take my dogs to my original vet, they do a live demonstration on how to give them their medications. My dogs get their first dosage at the clinic by the vet. Dr. Lawton didn't even consider explaining my rats medicine to me, even though I mentioned repeatedly that I'm a first time rat owner. He just walked out of the room again. I had to look up videos online.
Even though they came off a little incompetent, the staff and nurses were very friendly and professional. If my normal clinic treated rats, I would have taken my rats to the same place I take my dogs. But since they don't, that's why I went to Pantano Animal Clinic. Just the contrast in service and efficiency was drastic. Luckily, I've found another veterinary practice for my rats (Valley Animal hospital). I do not like to write bad reviews but if I must, I want to be as detailed and thorough as possible. This is so that the clinic may learn from their mistakes and improve service and so new clients can be wary if needed be. I will provide pictures of my invoice as well.
Dr. Lent and the whole staff are always friendly and make you feel very comfortable and they really care about you and your pet.
A little on the pricey side but really great, caring staff. I take both of my fur babies here.
That was my first experience with the pantano animal clinic everyone I met were very professional very nice and I was only there 25 minutes because of covid-19 they came out and got my kitty cat and then brought her back to the car... it was a great experience very easy no problems I'm going to be taking my kitty back there all the time now
Doctors here are all amazing. Kind, knowledgeable, caring. We have taken our pets there for years, have recommended the doctors there to many friends who are also impressed with this clinic. Great staff also. The vet techs are the best!
They're a really great bunch. I have enjoyed this vet.
Haven't been allowed inside due to covid but they do a good job. Had to bring my pup in for valley fever and another pup for an allergy shot.
Great doctors on staff. Warm and welcoming staff. Easy to unload my malamute in their spacious parking lot.
It's odd to have a first visit for my puppy and not be allowed to go in with him. I liked three Vet that came out to talk to me
Dr. Flocken, her assistants & the wonderful ladies at the front desk are so helpful & friendly. They have always taken good care of my pets.
Dr. Quick is very kind to our old dog. He explains in layman's terms so you understand what is happening. Great overall clinic.
Very professional friendly Doctors and staff. My animals are well cared for here.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They cared for my dogs as if they were their own!
Dr. Flocken is so energetic and proactive in her approach to treating our pets. Techs are friendly and knowledgeable, and Covid-19 precautions are in place to keep staff and customers safe. Highly recommended!
I absolutely love this clinic. I've been going here for years for several different pets and have never been disappointed. The vet assistants are second to none and Dr. Quick is the best vet I've had the pleasure of taking my pets to.
Great staff and customer service from the moment I called to schedule the appointment. I was able to get my cat to the vet the same day. The front desk staff were pleasant and aknoeledged us right away. Dr. Lent not only took the time to examine Molly but also to get to know us a little more as the pet parents. I plan to bring my dogs to them too!
They have been regular vet for my three month old puppy Roxy. I love how kind, respectful, and quick the staff are trained at this location.
We've taken all of our dogs (and the occasional cat in residence ) to Pantano Animal Clinic. Everyone is caring and kind. Dr. Lent is great!
Both of my boys love the doctors and the staff. Everyone is very kind and very caring. It's a great place to take your pets.
Pantano Animal Clinic is the most amazing vet clinic that I have ever been to. Dr. Quick and Christine R. create a powerhouse of excellent veterinary care. The knowledge and kindness they showed towards my dog, Weebles, and I was truly moving. I can't thank them enough for fixing up my little girl. I am brought to tears by their clear passion and understanding of animal health care. I am now a forever client.
The best vets in the area. Very compassionate. They don't try to gouge you. Feel like family and know they will take good care of your pet.
They have always done a great job caring for our furbabies. A couple years ago our kitten managed to fracture his back leg pretty bad. The staff went above and beyond to help us get the care he needed. Now we take our dogs there for checkups as well. Love the staff and all the veterinarians.
Its is very nice. The staff is amazing and takes good care of your animals. Very happy with the care my pets receive here
Took my dog there. It was his time. They were so caring and compassionate.
Our cat means the world to us and Dr. Lent at Pantano Animal Clinic is the only vet for us and our beloved cat.
They're very professional and courteous. They assisted me in a timely manner when I needed their services for my dog.
Great place and great care for my dogs. Offers all kinds of options and really care they do a fair and complete assessment
Over priced. Helena is very nice, but rest of staff are rude.
We have two elderly dogs and couldn't hope for better care. Dr.s are competent and caring and are considerate and up front regarding costs. Office staff, too are wonderful.
Dr Lawton is the best! My pets like him, so that's half the battle, but not so sure about my tortoise, Gloria. She'd rather be left alone. Kind, patient, attentive staff, takes the time to explain conditions, procedures and treatment, calming human fear's as well.
Friendly, knowledgeable and doing a good job with COVID protocols of safety while providing great service.
Most thoughtful and thorough practice. They take amazing care of all of my family's fur babies
There are good vets, bad vets, and vets in between. Until I moved to Tucson and found Pantano Animal Clinic I had not had the experience of knowing a really good vet. The veterinarians and the staff are all genuinely friendly and helpful and you can tell that they really do love animals. Even the smelly ones :)
Great associates work there. Great with my Pit bull
Very compassionate with me... I have a elderly cat that isn't well and I have to face saying goodbye to her... They explained my options and what I could do to have a bit more time with her. Thank you.
Dr Lent is so amazing. He really cares about the health of your pet.
I have been taking my dogs here for years and they have always received excellent care. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and do not try to sell us on unnecessary services. The office is clean and cozy. Lately I have been taking my dog for laser therapy to help with his hip stiffness. It seems to be helping! They always bring him a frozen treat to distract him during his treatments. I will definitely be returning with my dogs.
They always show great concern in the treatment of my 12+ year old dog. They listen to me and ensure I understand any new instructions and care changes.
We took our pets in to Pantano last week. Worst Vet place to go. I was charged for services that I did not ask for. When I confronted Dee about charges, she had a big attitude and said those are the charges. This is not the first encounter I have had with the office manager. When I asked for the heart worm, that I was charged for, they gave me one from a box that says "Not for resell". I see they are in the business of making money. When I confronted Dee about the heart worm, she said here is the medication and walked away. I thinks she knows what she is doing is illegal. If I could give zero stars I would. Please take your animals somewhere else, they don't care about the patients only how to make money. Pantano has been a place we have gone before but not again. Things have changed since Dr. Quick left. I will definetly going to another office.
I really like them. The nurses and doctors are very thorough.
Had to schedule my dog for Euthanasia.
They were able to schedule me on short notice even with the Pandemic currently going around.
This was the most difficult thing I have had to do and the Staff and the Doctor were really patient and understanding. They did not judge me for being in tears and sniffling in their clinic.
I made an appointment to have my dog neutered and was quoted $350. When I went in for the pre-op appointment they then told me it was going to be $500. They refused to give me the price they originally quoted even though I had given them all the correct information. No one bothered to notify me about the change in the cost. Went there for nothing! Not very professional.
We have had difficulty finding a vet that we like, find trustworthy, and honest. For this reason, when needed, we would take our pets to drop-in clinics in our vicinity. Recently, our dog was bitten by a skunk and needed an immediate rabies booster shot. After calling several clinics, we went to Pantano Animal Clinic as they were able to see us within the same day and were conveniently located to us. The staff -- from the receptionists, to the technicians, to the veterinarian -- were all extremely kind and caring. In addition, their prices seemed reasonable. After years of searching, I believe that we have found our vet!
I first started going to Pantano Animal Clinic in 2000 when my family moved to Tucson. For years, my cats received excellent care, and I enthusiastically recommended Pantano to anyone that asked. I felt like the veterinarians were thorough, caring, and reasonable. However, five years ago, I got a new kitten, and from that moment, my experiences with Pantano went downhill quickly. This kitten had several medical issues. She was in a lot of pain and did not tolerate going to the vet well. Instead of responding compassionately, Dr. Lent developed a clear animosity, verging on hostility, towards my cat. He refused to do thorough exams, nail trims, etc. because my cat would try to scratch and bite him. I started dreading vet visits. The final straw was a few months ago when we brought her in because her face was very swollen. Dr. Lent claimed that she was too aggressive to do an actual exam and that to even look in her mouth or draw blood, she would have to be put under anesthesia. In the end, I was charged for a comprehensive exam in which he refused to examine her. He ended up recommending a shot of Benadryl, and we left. It turns out that this was actually caused by massive abscesses in her mouth due to numerous infected teeth. She was in a lot of pain and ended up losing half of her teeth. I discovered this when I took her to a different vet. This vet was calm and patient, gave my cat time to become comfortable in the situation, and thoroughly examined her teeth without a single issue. I fail to understand why multiple other veterinarians have now thoroughly examined my cat, drawn blood, etc. (for a third of the price Pantano charges) with no issue, but Dr. Lent was unable to do so. I should have left Pantano years ago, but I finally have, and I m much happier. I can sadly no longer recommend Pantano and instead strongly suggest you go somewhere else.
