First of all, Please dont waste your time to shop at frisco they all are cheaters and greedy. They dont know how to treat coustmers. I want to let you all know what is my worst experience .

when you started looking at cars online with your information some how they will find that info and keep on calling you for fixing an appointment. Once you fix an appoiment for particular car they will tell that the car is in front of them and ready for test drive . Once you visit them they will tell that the car just sold out . Yes, we can assume that it is a nature of business.But thats completely wrong assumption ! Because it happens for me 3 times honestly saying, it happened 3 times and I agree i am a big fool to trust them for 3 times .

Here what actually they are doing is there intention is to tell you they have the car you ask for in stock and make you to come show room. Once you go there they will simply tell story and say sorry car was not in stock :0 and ask for what is your another priority. ( oh gosh !! ) they think that once people come and see they can convience to buy car with them . If you really specify with your car and color please dont waste time and belive there words. They want us to come their showroom and buy car only what they have in stock.

Anyways they are not going to give you best deal . Compare your prices with another dealers they have best deals than Mc David Frisco .Its waste waste and waste of your time .

I purchased a 2012 Odyssey. Very poor service. After we purchased the vehicle they didn't even bother to show us all of the options and features of the mmini-van. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE 5 STAR RATING...all you will get is..."you got to give us a 5 star over and over again"....they don't even care what you write in the comments section. They get money from Honda on the ratings.

The new car had multiple interior damage and body issues. I took it back to get them fixed and it took them over a week. When I got the mini-van back I had issues with my front alignment. I suspect McDavid mechanics messed with my front alignment for giving them bad reviews.

Made and appointment for an oil change and to address some venting issues with AC unit on my 2011 Pilot. This was done quickly and efficiently via the website with assistance via a chat representative. All services done and AC repair was completely in a timely and satisfactory manner. Waiting area was spacious so we could be socially distanced. All employees were wearing their masks correctly! Happy, satisfied customer.

I'll give the Sales folks here credit for one thing. They don't waste your time and tell you immediately if you're being reasonable with your budget. However, if you're willing to overpay for the car you love without the back and forth negotiations, then this is the place for you! One of their sales guys, Brandon, decided to be "transparent" with me showing me the MSRP and Invoice cost of the model car I was interested in. Newsflash, that info is public and can be found on Edmunds. Kept telling me he'd be selling me the car at a lost and that he couldn't work with my asking price. Talks lasted for about 10 min before he thanked me for my time and showed me the door. I appreciated Brandon for being on point and not wasting my time. Later that day I was able to drive out the same model car from another dealership from I wanted at a price within my budget.

I found the car online on a Sunday. Started chatting with the representative on Sunday. Monday I got a call from Victor Berry about the car I was interested in. He was very customer service friendly and did not push me about the car I was interested in. I made it out to the dealership to test drive the car with Victor. I can honestly say, one of the main reasons I purchased this car was because of Victor s customer service and pleasant personality. Victor gets five stars from me.. The only reason I didn t write my review with five stars is that the finance guy, Ali was the worst. He never even thanked me for the business. if you go to David McDavid-Frisco ask for Victor Berry. AND ask for someone other than Ali in financing.

Even though I showed him tax papers and bank statements where I deposited money.. Not everyone gets a paper check taxes taken out... It's cool because I got a Volvo which is safer..

I have seen this grading program at other dealers and think it is bad: Agents get graded on a perfect score or fail basis. It is rarely that black and white. Why set up 5 grade levels if it is only pass or fail anyway. And there is ALWAYS some graduated degree of success on any work, so why force the service person into an arbitrary situation, where he lives or dies on the result?

The car was wet and washed, but hood still had easy to remove greasy fingerprints and bird spots on it which the cleaning people should have handled.

Also, my expensive highest level maintenance and damage package should have covered under the bumper scratches and I am disappointed it doesn't. I think the salesman who signed us up for that fudged on his description of how great the coverage was supposed to be.

There are hundreds of different car dealers in DFW, go to them and avoid David McDavid like the plague.

Found our desired vehicle and negotiated the price. Waited 3.5 hours for the dealership to provide a purchase order to give to my financial institution(we have a pre approved loan through our local bank). A member of their finance department brings out my wife's credit report and tries to have her sign an authorization to run her credit. Keep in mind this is after they ran her credit. The woman from the finance departmemt quickly disappeared and in came the finance manager. After being yelled at by the finance manager, being called liars, spoon fed lies, and offering no apology; we left without the vehicle. Off to find another car at one of the many other dealerships in the metroplex.

TLDR - Dealership ran a credit check without authorization. Then yelled at us because they violated the FCRA. Please heed my warning and go to a different dealer. Avoid the headache of David McDavid.

I recently bought my 2019 Honda Odyssey from Mc David Frisco. My overall experience was really good. Shoaib Guaba was my salesman and Hafeez Guaba was the sales manager. They both were very professional and courteous and ready to answer all my questions. Shoaib throughly explained me all the new features of my new car and he offered me to test drive multiple cars before making a selection. They both are experienced and have years of Honda experience that was clearly shown from them. I would highly recommend others to come to McDavid Honda of Frisco and if you are looking for a new car or a used Mr Shoaib Guaba will be the man to go for all your car buying needs. This is is my 3rd new Honda and first one from this dealership and I won t be going to any other dealership.

My experience with David McDavid Honda of Frisco was excellent. The customer service that my wife and received from Sam Saidian (New Car Sales Manager) was very professional and thoughtful. He was someone that truly understand the stress around purchasing a vehicle. He was patient and thorough with all of our questions and had our best interest at hand. We also had the opportunity to meet Rob Grubb another sales manager that was also very friendly and courteous. Our final buying experience was with John Pomroy from financing. This Finance manage also showed "best in the industry" courtesy through the financing stage of the buying process. He was able to address our needs and made sure that we received a very positive walk away feeling. I would thoroughly recommend anyone that has a desire to purchase a Honda vehicle to seek this dealership for future purchases or leasing vehicle needs.

I didn't purchase my Honda at David McDavid, but there is no other dealership that I would take it to for service. I have always had a great experience there. One of my best experiences was when the service department initially made a mistake. Mistakes happen; what is not nearly as common, however, is when a company responds so positively. They truly went far above and beyond to correct the issue and ensure that I was taken care of.

The quality of their service is great. Their customer service is phenomenal!

Best New Car Experience!!!

After recently purchasing two cars from David McDavid Honda of Frisco; I must say that it was the best new car experience that I have had in my 30+ years of purchasing many new cars for my wife, children, mom, and myself. In my years, I have worked with many new car salesman, and rate Mike Stock as one of the best. What I appreciated about Mike is that he was congenial, informative, patient, attentive, not-pushy, and had excellent communication and customer skills. Mike was pleasant to talk with during the test drives and while waiting on sales phases to complete. He actively listened to what my wife, son, daughter, and I deemed important for the two new cars. He proactively kept me informed as various activities (trade-in estimate, contract preparation, new car prep, etc.) were occurring. I am the type of person that likes to be informed of progress, so I really appreciate this small, yet often overlooked effort in attentiveness. Mike was well informed about the car and was very capable in presenting the car features, safety capabilities, and electronic technology. I had already read up on the cars, so I can say Mike s facts were accurate.

An example of Mike s people and customer skills was when my wife and daughter were deciding between gray or black leather. Mike took us to the remote new car lot where there were many options to look at. My wife and daughter went back and forth sitting in the cars with black and gray interiors. It was not a quick decision, and all the while Mike stood back and allowed them the time to decide and the space to quietly discuss the options. Something that impressed me was that it was a cold day and Mike did not have a coat. I could tell Mike was cold, but he never mentioned it, and never rushed my wife and daughter.

Besides having an excellent salesman, another key factor that made this my best car purchasing experience was that it was one of the quickest. Normally negotiations take many rounds of the salesman and I negotiating, and then the salesman making trips to the sales manager, trade-in manager, finance manager, etc . Each round taking half an hour to an hour. With the whole process taking much of the day. This time it was much quicker, and I believe it was because Sonia Heredia, the General Manager, was present on the sales floor. For years, I have seen Sonia s autograph prominently displayed on the interior wall of the new car sales floor; and finally I had the pleasure to meet her.

The first round of negotiations was for a single car for my wife, but Mike Stock attentively heard that I was also looking for a new car for my son. Through genuine good conversation, Mike listened to the details of what I was looking for in my son s car, and the price that I was willing to pay for the two cars. Mike took the first round negotiation offer to the decision makers. I was pleasantly surprised when Sonia came out with my offer, we talked a little, and the deal was signed. I love working with a decision maker like Sonia. Her hand continued to be involved during the financing and car acquisition; and that hand seemed to facilitate the purchase, which resulted in quickening the entire process. In my short time with her, I could sense that she had excellent management skills, which I believe flows down through the ranks of salesmen, service team members, and management; to make David McDavid Honda of Frisco one of Honda s prestigious winners of the President s Elite Award .

Faris and his manager, whose name escapes me, did a wonderful job of getting me into the right car at the right price. I didn't think they were going to be able to make a deal that would work for me on a car that would fit my needs as my daughter grows up, but they got me everything I was looking for at a lower price than I anticipated. The gentleman in the Finance department whose name I have also unfortunately forgotten was great as well about helping me get some great coverages without bumping up the payment by more than a few dollars a month.

I waited in a clean waiting room. He kept me updated and my wait time was less than expected. I will always come here for maintenance on my car and possibly to buy a new car in the future. I use to love Honda and believed their customer service was exceptional. My family has trusted the company enough to buy 4 vehicles from them over the last 20 years. Unfortunately, this opinion has quickly changed due to a series of incidents at their Frisco location.

I purchased a used vehicle from them in 2017, and was assured all of "the internals" were brand new with one or two exceptions. A week after I got the car, the dealership reached out and informed me I could get the current model of my car, 100% brand new, for LESS than I paid for my used 2014 model that same week. Upon asking how the swap would work, they then told me "Oh, nevermind, it's too late because you took the car." This was a mild annoyance, not really a big deal, I just don't understand why it came up then.

The real issues took place when my allegedly "new" parts started acting up, after one year of VERY light use. By acting up, I mean it would stop working in the middle of driving, and refuse to accelerate. This almost got me killed by a big rig on my way to the dealership (Thankfully the car decided to move again just in time for me to speed out of the way). The service department told me the issue was a small part in my transmission and would be fixed in a day or two, so I got a rental from them until then. After three days of no contact, I called and they told me they hadn't started repairs because they had to order the part. It would've been nice to know earlier, but wasn't a big deal, other than meaning I had to pay for a rental until it arrived about 3 weeks later. That day, I recieved a call telling me that instead of the part, they had decided to replace the entire transmission "free of charge," and it would be a bit longer. No explanation was ever given for why this happened, it was in fact ignored when I asked what warranted a complete replacement, but hey, free transmission.

Upon completion, just under 1 full month after I dropped the car off, my service advisor called and said I HAD TO get my car the following day, even though I was previously told I had 3 days after the work was finished to pick it up. When I questioned him, he became nervous and evasive, still demanding I get it then. I showed up on his requested day, to find out it was his day off, so he wasn't there. After returning the rental and paying for my repairs, I got into my car and started to leave. Right before I turned out of the parking lot, I noticed an almost foot long crack in the passenger side of my windshield. I didn't even make it far enough away from the service department to be out of sight, but when I pointed out the crack, the staff initially tried to blame ME for it. It took several more days to get my new windshield installed, during which time I sat down with both my Advisor and the Service Department Manager to discuss what all had happened in the last month. Mysteriously, neither one could explain what happened with ANY part of my "maintenance," what had actually been wrong to begin with, or how my windshield broke. Despite every delay and the damage having been due to their own behavior, the dealership refused to refund me for the extra rental time incurred while they were "fixing" my car again...

That's the worst problem I've had at the dealership, but far from the only one. In the time since purchasing my car, I have been lied to on multiple occasions, including during the purchase. I've rejected services after verifying they weren't necessary, only to have them be sold to me as something else, and then discovered the deception once it was too late. If I raise a complaint, the service advisors deny it happened and refuse to remove the charges. I know it all sounds crazy, I hardly believe it myself, which is why I kept giving them second chances. After 20+ years of being a loyal customer, I will never buy another Honda, especially not from this location.

This is my second time buying a car with Honda and I know there are so many dealers in the DFW metroplex, but Honda of Frisco provided the best and the easier car buying experience ever! Even though I put in the request for a quote after hours but James came through and contacted me right away asking when I like to see the car and what he has on the lot. Then proceed to work with me via text all day to get a deal that would work for me. I was able to get everything finish in 2 days. Thank you guys for making it easier and answered all my questions. Definitely will buy a car from them again.

I went to three other Honda dealers in the DFW area before finding David McDavid. I called on a Friday night and Stacy Jackson answered the phone and told me that he would love to make me a deal on an Odyssey. I set an appointment for Saturday morning and came down from the downtown Dallas area. Stacy and Rob Tharp (Sales Director) were kind, helpful and great in making sure that I got a great deal as well as a van that would be best for my family. I would not buy another car/van elsewhere. Lynsie Binkley, the Accessories Manager, did an excellent job at explaining the different accessory options and making sure that I got a package that included all of the necessities. Also, KJ Jones in the finance department was very helpful in taking the time to explain financing options. Julian in the service department did a great job at making sure my accessories were installed. My total experience at David McDavid was amazing! Truly a pleasant experience, much different that I have experienced at past dealerships. A+++

I bought Accord car with extended warranty from this dealership almost 3 months back, after 5 days I cancelled my warranty (signed a cancellation document) at the dealership. But, it was not submitted for cancellation for more than 2 months and after my repetitive requests on status they submitted after 2 months which resulted in 6% reduction from my warranty refund. I contacted the dealership but they never even bother to respond to me. Please be careful in buying/cancelling warranty from this dealership.

The complementary WiFi is also a nice touch though nowadays it is expected from any establishment. Overall a nice experience.

My wife and I just purchased a preowned 2014 Odyssey. Could not be more impressed with the professionalism of our salesman - Oleksandr.

Oleksandr showed us four Odysseys over a two hour period, comparing the vehicles with each other, other models, and other brands and pointing out all the minute differences to all the vehicles. He did a superb job helping us decide which vehicle was right for us and helped us fall in love with it.

We'd been to over 5 other dealerships up until this point looking at a variety of vehicles but none had the service and standards of David McDavid. When we need a new vehicle we will be going there first as long as their standards remain in effect.

If you are looking for a pre-owned vehicle I would encourage you to ask for Oleksandr. He was knowledgeable, negotiable, and understanding of our needs. He even talked management into buying us sandwiches for supper since we arrived right after work at 6pm and stayed until 9pm.

In order to avoid any waiting, I called up David McDavid Honda for service appointment for my car. They told me to drive by and I will be taken care of immediately, appointment is not needed. They took all my details over phone and said they will see me soon. On arrival, which was a 20 min drive from home, they made me wait for 15 mins with no response. After this, and multiple enquiries on what is happening a service advisor with first name Josh comes in and says you have 3 hours waiting time!! After showing him call I made to their service center and telling whom I spoke with, still he is least empathetic about the mistake they have made and tell me rude on face that I would have to wait for 3 hours.

Had this been mentioned over the phone, I wouldn t have come and wasted my precious hour dealing with low quality of service and rude professionals.

I strongly recommend not to ever visit this service center with exceptionally poor service to customers.

Today June 27th 2020. I had fixed an appointment for oil Change at 11.00am. It went great. They followed the social distance and other requirements for COVID-19. The service advisor Derick Heckel was very kind and did let me know the time frame to do the oil change and did delivered my SUV as mentioned time. I do take this time to appreciate him and Honda Frisco.
My last visit was close to a year I last visited Honda Frisco because I was disappointed with their service and gave 3 star.
Now they did a fantastic job. That's why I give them 5 star.

David McDavid Honda is the Only place I have serviced my Honda so far since I have got it. They offer excellent service and customer experience.

I have been entirely satisfied by them.

The only complain is that I feel they charge a little more when compared to the competition.

Best dealership I've had experience with in a while! Pulled into the service department and was immediately greeted by Chris, explained what was going on with my vehicle and he was very knowledgeable about my issue. Surprisingly fast service, and wasn't pressured into extra things I didn't absolutely need for my vehicle. Would highly recommend this dealership to anyone with or without a Honda!

Needed new tire(s), called middle of afternoon and Jason Douglas (service provider) said I could get it done that afternoon! I was at the dealership within 20 minutes, took Jason's tire recommendation. He promised it would be done in 2 hours, it was! The valet service was very nice. Work was done when promised at a fair price. I go to the dealership for all my services.

Buying a car can be a traumatic experience, and in all honesty, I don't enjoy those kind of high-end purchases. But our recent experience at David McDavid Honda of Frisco was an exception to that. We had bought a car through McDavid before, and so we wanted to go back to them, first and foremost, because our previous time there was positive. This time around, the experience was even better. What made the biggest impact on us was the salesperson who worked with us, Mosaab. He was extremely knowledgeable, could understand our concerns (and, at times, our reservations), and, best of all, he wasn't high-pressure or strictly out for the sale. We felt that our engagement with him was not only pleasant and professional, but authentic. We strongly recommend that you check out McDavid Honda of Frisco. And if you do, ask specifically for Mosaab. You will not be disappointed.

I always get my car serviced here. Make sure you will have to wait for few hours even with a prior appointment. I had appointment but still somehow they messed up and delayed my work. But later apologized for it and compensated for 50% off on next service. I would say, if it's just oil change or tire rotation then go to any local workshop.

I have been working with Kelvin Jones at McDavid Honda of Frisco for about three years now and he is extremely professional and friendly to work with. Kelvin is the first Service Advisor that I have worked with that really seems to listen to my concerns about my Odyssey and Accord and get my concerns/problems solved. Had a Low Tire Pressure indicator that wouldn't turn off so I dropped by the Service Department totally unannounced and expecting to have to make an appointment and come back later. Was greeted by Mat who explained how to reset the indicator once air had been added to the tires. When I told him the low pressure was a recurring problem, he offered to check the tires while I waited. They found a nail in one tire, repaired it and had me back on the road in about an hour. During my wait Meghan texted her contact info so I could get updates, ask questions, etc. She also met and walked me out to my car when it was finished. Everyone was VERY friendly, professional and courteous. I was impressed!

We were treated so well by Angel and Scott!!! Specifically ask for them next time you come in.

I had recently gotten Into a wreck in my CR-V and was adament on getting that kind of car again.

I went to go test drive a new CR-V in the beginning of October before a big trip out of the country. Not only did Scott text me after I had gotten back in the country to follow up, he also continued to be extremely nice about an obvious miscommunication after my mom snapped at him before we even stepped into the dealership again.

While they understood and tried really hard to get me the price I needed, they couldn't make it work.

My mom and I sat with both of them for over 4 hours. We went through leasing, which we decided against. Angel let us drive a used CR-V to a friend of ours to inspect, and was completely okay with us deciding against buying it after the inspection. Angel and Scott helped us test drive an HR-V and Scott talked me through the differences in both the HR-V and the CR-V.

Because it was raining out and they couldn't detail my car, Angel offered me a free detail and new tank of gas whenever I could stop by next for the inconvinence.

We were treated very well despite making them run around to find us something. Hopefully the bonus was worth it, because I would have been cursing half way through.

In short, I love this dealership. We've always been treated well here when doing things like oil changes or regular check-up on our previous Honda cars, but this was over the top!
