Service Advisor Jeff Harris is outstanding! I've owned a lot of cars and having them serviced is not always the most pleasant experience. Jeff Harris is HONEST, let's me know what I need and what things can wait. He gets me in and out when he says he will and always goes above and beyond to ensure excellent customer service. He was even able to beat Discount Tire on a new set of tires last year. If you want an honest, straight-forward, advisor, ask for Jeff Harris.
Joi Ford in sales and Collin Baker in service are an incredible team. Consistently approaching their jobs from the customer service perspective is really refreshing in the car business.

My husband and I were in the market for a car a few days ago and we decided to give this dealership a try, but in our hearts we didn't think we will be able to get anything because of its prime location and of our tight budget. But we didn't even make it to the front door before we were greeted by the salesman Mike Stock. From that point on, he was super helpful and very knowledgeable about the vehicle we are interested in. He explained everything to us especially during our test drive he pointed out all the features it has - we were "hooked" on the car by the time we finished the test drive :). We were so blown away by the professionalism and friendliness of the people at this place. Everybody seems so nice there, from the accessories manager Tracey Conyers to the finance guy Davood Bayat. This is our third time buying a car and our first time buying it at David McDavid Honda but by far this is the best and the most pleasant experience we ever had.
Dylan was very courteous. However, I did not see the difference from making an appointment and walk in. I have done both and it took me the same time. My appointment was at
3:40 and I saw my car sitting there until 4:30. And did not get our of there until 5:30. It is appreciated the effort for sanitizing; however, by the time the car came back, one of the protective plastics was down in the passenger s sit while the driver driving my car, by the way I saw more then one scenario where they took off plastics and after doing that a Honda associate came and drove the car to move it around. The car service, everything good. They noticed a tire leak and patched it. Thank you

I came here to buy a Honda Accord and dealt with the most rude and condescending closer. After finally deciding and agreeing upon a price for the car I had selected, it came time to get the interest rate. The man practically refused to run my credit report, implied that I had low income and poor credit (neither of which was the case) and stereotyped me by saying "I just want to let you know, but a girl like you came in here the other day... she had a 600-700 credit score, had to put down a $2k payment, and still got a 12% interest." None of this information was applicable to me, yet he still proceeded to ask me what I did for a living and asked if my parents would be co-signing rather than just running my credit report and seeing for himself what the actual interest rate was going to be. After feeling so insulted and annoyed that the process was made so difficult, I decided I would just go through my bank to finance the car. Because it was a weekend, I agreed to put down $250 to hold the vehicle over the weekend so that I could apply through my bank. I shopped around and ended up deciding on a different make/model. I called them the next day to tell them I would be coming back to get my deposit. The salesperson told me I should be able to come in there and get refunded right away. That was not the case. There was "no one there at the time to process it for me" and they told me they would take down my information and give me a call back. I did not get a call back. I went up to the dealership AGAIN, and finance told me they would have to process separate paperwork and then write me a check once that is approved. They told me that they would call me when my check was ready to pick up. It has been over two weeks since I put the deposit down and STILL have not received a phone call. All around terrible experience for a first car buyer. I received absolutely stellar customer service when I went to a different dealership a few days later.

Took my Pilot in to replace the parking sensor because it fell in after I kicked my trash can. They quoted me $312 after checking it saying that sensor was broken and it's hard to replace. Such outrageous price got me curious and I came home to start research online. Found instructions how to get to sensor and it took me 5 mins to get it out. Sensor was in tact and only retainer was broken so I found it online and paid $35 with shipping. Even if the sensor was broken, it costs $102 bucks and dealer sells it for $172 plus charging enormous amount for labor which is not there. They ripped me off 6 month ago when I took car for oil change and end up paying $2100 for some problem that shouldn't even be on relatively new car with 40K on it. I agreed at the time because they claimed safety was involved and my wife drives kids in that car. Anyway, I am not going back there again.

I took my car for oil change and they gave me a coupon and this is the reason I am giving 2 stars. But,w I said that my car needed a break check up, they gave me a high estimate. I asked him to check that again and received the same response. My car didn't need pads, since they were barely worn, but they tried to charged me for new pads and rotors resurface. I did not accept the service, and I am so glad I didn't, because my car just needed rotors resurface. I will definitely question before I accept any suggestions from McDavid Honda
Sales associate eddie hawk lied about the alignment on the used I purchased. Also told me my apr would be 2.89 and then once I got to financing they told me that was not the case. When the financial advisor called the sales management to ask why. The sales manager stated "just tell the customer he doesnt qualify" poor business and wont refer anyone to come here

I came in to have a flat repaired. I was told it would take about an hour when I got there. I was there for almost 3 hours. They tried to bill me even though I had sentinel which included tire repair. It took me figuring out that they had entered the wrong Vin number and it pulled up an old vehicle. This wasted at least 45 minutes trying to correct after that. Whilel the service rep was nice, it just took entirely too long. If I had any other option, I would never return.

I came here 3 months back. But didn't feel good about service at this dealership. They didn't cover my driving seat when took for the service. There was stain of oil and grease on my driving seat.
Today again, I wanted to give them second chance. Service guy Ian came to receive my CRV on service reception. When I asked about charges, he said $55.99 for oil change only. Then I went to him on the counter and showed the price for engine oil and engine filter. That was only $49.99 . It's happened last time too. On this dealership, service representative tells any price , if you agree. Then you will pay for that. If you will show them Honda link price , they will reduce the price. This is called fishy business practice and intention towards customers.
Beware of the service charges. Otherwise you will be charged higher than Honda prescribed charges.
I will think 100 times before giving them third chance after this local service center type of practice here in this dealership service center.
James Brown helped out and answered all my questions. What I appreciated most is if he didn't have an answer her would find out other than just telling me her didn't know. Everyone was very sociable, and reliable.

Buyer Beware. The internet ad I responded to stated only 25 miles on a new Civic. When I got to the dealership and after 2 hours there I found out the new car had a 1025 miles on it. The salesperson was very nice but the other managers were very rude and disrespectful.

Not only do I like that my car serviced and completed on a timely manner , the employees there are kind, polite, and helpful. One that stands out is Tyler Anderson -I have had him as a Service Advisor often and yesterday s experience was amazing as always. He has always provided fantastic customer service and communicates with me while my car is getting serviced. Giving me updates, recommendations on my car, and if I need a courtesy ride anywhere while I am waiting. Tyler, he handles that for me. 5 star service at David McDavid in Frisco. And a 5 start rating for Tyler Anderson.
Ed Noger. Remember that name. Ed is an incredibly knowledgeable and honest guy. I worked with him on some pricing issues with dealers in San Antonio and he did an absolutely outstanding job.
Service; oil and filter went smoothly. Shuttle service very poor. It took driver hours to contact me. I called several times and each time promised shuttle would contact me and be to my home within hour, and minutes. I had to call Uber and was very frustrated with poor customer service in this area.

What a wonderful group of guys. I work with Eddie and Magid. I was going through a really rough time with car engines blowing up on me at no fault of my own. Just a run of bad luck. I had terrible back pain from walking. My mother was very sick in a nursing home. A lot of stress. These guys eased my stress and made me feel completely comfortable. When i found these guys, they went above and beyond the call of duty to help me out. I have had the car back for servicing and they don't even ask any questions. If you need a loaner car while they work on yours, they do it. If you need a call back, they do it. I've dealt with a lot of car dealerships here lately but these guys are the best. I had a 7:40 am. appointment and didn't get out until 9:40 am. They wanted to charge me $250 for hood struts. I'll just buy them myself and save $210. Gouging customers seems to be their MOA.

sorry to say that but the worst customer service ever, we are having a hard time to contact them all the time and they keep transferring us to a another person for simple questions, yesterday it took us 4 hours to get the answer for service, I have lexus for 4 years and i never had problems with them but Hunda needs to work on their customers service.
I was visiting in Texas and had a flat tire on the way. I scheduled an appointment at David McDavid to get my tire fixed at 830 AM on Saturday 11/14. The tire had to be replaced but even with an appointment it took over 2 hours. Then on my way back to Oklahoma my tire light came on. I took my car to my Honda dealer in Norman and all 4 of my tires had been over-filled to 37# of pressure - it should have been 33# on the front and 30# on the back. Not good. Today I received 2 emails from them stating I missed my appointment which explains why I had a 2-hour wait.

I purchased my Honda Pilot Touring from Sharouz. I wanted a specific color and package and the only one that was available was in Oklahoma; Sharouz drove all the way to Oklahoma to get it for me! He didn't arrive back into Texas until after 10PM that night! I was so thankful! I love my Touring! Sharouz is the best!
I recently bought my son a used car at David McDavid. My sales person, Ed Nogar, was informative, friendly, knowledgeable about cars, and quick with all the paper work. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to get a car. In fact all the staff at David McDavid were very friendly to deal with.

The attention to detail and follow up that I expect from a dealership service department was sorely missing on my most recent visit. I brought my 2018 Ridgeline to David McDavid Honda for a regular 20k servicing. I made two simple, reasonable requests: 1: Do not wash my truck when the service was complete because I just had it washed and detailed. 2: Adjust the tire pressure to the recommended pressure. Guess what? Yes, that s correct. They whiffed on both. I picked up my truck and once I was driving away, I realized that there was water spots on the windshield, windows, and all over the truck. I checked the tire pressure thru the TPMS Yates. All tires are at different pressure and much higher than the recommended psi. I m so disappointed in my service advisor, who clearly confirmed with me on these two requests. Less than an excellent customer experience.
Tim was my service adviser and did a great job of letting me know the best time to arrive for a quick maintenance. He gave me a time estimate of an hour and my car was finished in 45 minutes and I was back on the road under the one hour estimate. Tim gave me a full report of everything that was done and what items may need to be done in the near future with no high pressure sales. Very pleasant experience, good free coffee, got to look at cars and sit in a very well kept waiting area where the WiFi really does work. Makes the "going to the dealership" experience enjoyable.
I came in 3 weeks ago to apply for credit and see what my possibilities were to qualify for a car. Not only did I drive off with a sweet Honda but I also drove off with a sweet monthly deal which I could afford. The sale man JP was really patient with my demands even though my 5 children drove the staff crazy they made me feel @ home. Jarius Preston was not only patient but he was also very knowledgeable he wasn't pushy instead he explained the loan process really carefully with ups or downs. I wish there were more sales people like him that can understand his clients.
I would like to recognize and thank Miss Berkley Taylor for her outstanding service. She is an amazing person with great personality and customer care. As soon as I came into the dealership, she greeted me with a beautiful smile and a warm welcome. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and provided me with the most exceptional service possible. The maximum of five stars is not a proper representation of her service and kindness if I were to rate her on the scale of 1-10 she would be a definite 100. It was my first time at David McDavid Honda and it will not be the last because of the outstanding service I received from Miss Taylor.

The at home valet service is, in theory, extremely convenient. I had an appointment at 7a and had to call service several times to find out why I hadn't been contacted about my pick up. Finally received a call at 10a and the car was picked up by 11a. Not what I was expecting after signing up for a 7a timeslot. Service was completed very quickly after that and dropped off shortly after with no incident. Only gripe is needing to call to find out what was going on and waiting nearly 4 hours after I was expecting to be helped.
I actually drive past other Honda dealerships to go to this one for service. Their customer service goes above and beyond. Needed to leave my car overnight and they secured me a rental from Enterprise down the street when they were out of rental cars. Thanks Dylan and Tyler!
There were some extra recommendations on service like filter changes and Transmission oil changes - They did not even call me to confirm and work on these 'Urgent' things. They only told me when I went to pick up my car.
Now, I'll have to leave my Car again at a service center whereas this could have been done during same visit.

Special thanks to the service manager, Jeff Harris! He get to the point and explain the issue right away. After I took it to Lute Riley @ Richardson where they gave wrong diagnosis and want to charge me 100.00+ diagnosis fee when I have extended warranty. The issue was fixed correctly. However, a piece of the panel got cracked while they taking the parts apart. It is not noticeable at all, but they took responsibility and bring it up to me when I picking up the car. Told me they have ordered the parts and will replace that for me once the parts arrive. Very honest! I highly recommend people to bring their Honda here for service.
About a month ago I had purchased a used vehicle from a different dealership. I won t name drop, but I was very unhappy with their service and the car. I felt like a number and when they knew they closed the deal it was like bye customer service went out the window. Very disappointed with the whole experience and my car I decided to roll the dice and go to David McDavd. Brad Dechent was my salesman. Brad was there for me from start to finish. He listened to me complain about my previous experience and assured me it would be different regardless if I bought a car or not. There was absolutely no pressure when I test drove cars and he made the experience fun! He really listened to me when it came to what I was looking for. I cannot thank Brad enough for helping me find the prefect car to fit my needs and situation. Not only did he take the time to walk me through everything on my new 2014 Honda Civic, he even gave me a tour of the whole service department, so I would know where to go in the future. He went above and beyond and I highly recommend him. My experience at David McDavid was by far the best car buying experience I have had to date, thanks to Brad and the McDavid team. Went here for an oil change. Liked the service performed, but the whole process of speaking with the service advisor, dealing with the shuttle service, etc., was frustrating. Much prefer the way things are set up at the dealer I usually visit.
Great service, they took my car immediately for my oil change and had it out in 40 minutes when estimated time said it might be 1-1.5 hours. I was on my way and happy. Car wash - complimentary was not a very good finished product, even after the 2nd try (Service Rep sent it back after the 1st) it was still quite streaked and would not have been acceptable if I had paid for it for sure!
When purchasing the car, I had a great experience. Everyone did everything they could to help me get what I needed/wanted. But when it came time to change my oil for the first time, things did not go as well.
I had asked the service tech if they were going to check the fluids, tire pressure, etc. When i got my car back, I had no windshield wiper fluid and I could tell the air in my tires were not checked. They also wanted to charge me for it until I mentioned that it was supposed to be covered by my warranty. I was not satisfied AT ALL with this.

Worked with Justin on a purchase of 2016 Honda Accord Touring. Was one of the better experiences I've had purchasing a car. Wasnt pushy in asking questions like what's your monthly budget, how's your credit, etc. Not sure if other sales people are aware but educated buyers know their credit, buying power, and monthly budget and don't want to share that info. I give Justin a 10 rating for excellent customer service!!!
I found one of the two versions of the car I wanted (HR-V, MT) on their website and started a chat with Taylor Blankenship about whether the car was still available. He and I started a text conversation about the car and he was incredibly helpful and willing to communicate in the way that worked best for me on that day. Everyone I worked with from Taylor to Joshua Gabbai was great.
The only downside of my experience was that I had to go from Austin to Frisco, but that's not their fault.
