Worst worst and worst Honda service center. Seems like the service advisor Carlos was lying about everything. Either you have to improve your service or get someone who knows about things. I'll not prefer going back to McDavid Honda. I'm so frustrated regrading my recent services at Honda.

Got a nail in my tire and even though Honda was busy with the holiday weekend coming up, Eric my service guy made sure they fit me in and got my tire replaced. Always friendly service and they make sure you leave happy. I m a Honda fan for life!

Charles in sales is a terrible a person to talk to. He does not let people finish, cuts off. When we call to have Honda check our information, he does not even look who we are, what our account is and gives general answers. Terrible service. Do not buy car from this dealership.

We had an excellent experience at David McDavid Honda of Frisco. We were in the unique situation of flying in from out of state to buy a car for our son...our time was limited and we were a bit stressed out. Our sales associate, Victor Berry, was excellent to work with! He was fast, cordial, listened to our needs, and expedited the sale of the car with expert efficiency. I would highly recommend this car dealership as well as Victor. Victor made all the difference!

This is a great dealership that is transparent in their deal process and on pricing. I had some issues with my deal in the very beginning but the sales staff did a phenomenal job of working with me and getting the deal done. When you re there ask for Michael Dillard or Rob G. They will definitely give you the best price along with impeccable customer service.

To start, the only reason that I gave the one star...

To start, the only reason that I gave the one star is because I could not give a zero star. For starters, I went into this dealer on 5/12/18 to inquire about a Honda Odyssey. After speaking with a sales adviser, I requested to speak with the sales manager regarding my trade. I knew that this dealer uses the "trade bonus" to entice customers to come in. On this particular day, the trade bonus was $500.00, so I asked them to appraise my car. They came back with $6,500. Afterwards the sales manager Adam tells me that the best he could do is $7,500. I asked for $8,000. When I asked if the $500.00 "trade bonus" was included, I was told yes. I asked Adam if I could speak with the person making this decision. His manager Shaquille comes to the table and tells me that $7,500 is the best offer, including the "trade bonus." I told them I would pass and left.

On Monday, 5/14/18 I noticed that the "trade bonus" had risen to $1,750.00. I called back and asked to speak with Shaquille, since he makes all the calls. Shaquille tells me that the best he could offer was "what Adam offered me ($7,500). I asked Shaquille to speak with his manager. He transfers me to JP. This person was NO help whatsoever he listed to my story and flat out tells me, a paying customer "If you don't purchase it, I will get it sold..." Such arrogance is what resonated from this place from the top down.

So, in a last ditch effort I called new cars and asked them where the "trade bonus" comes from and if it can be used on new and/or used cars. The sales rep, whom I will not name, tells me that the "trade bonus" comes from marketing and yes, whatever is listed on the site is the dollar amount that can be offered.

On Tuesday, 5/15/18, I called back, spoke with Shaquille, and asked him if he would accept the $7,500 that he arrogantly tells me: "I don't have to honor the deal I said on Saturday." "$6,500 is the best offer." "This vehicle will sell regardless."

All of this to say, I will NEVER go back to David McDavid and the lies they tell, un-professionalism, arrogance, and flat-out not caring.

Long story short, I purchased a better model Odyssey, similar mileage, similar pricing, but MUCH BETTER customer service at AutoNation.

The team at AutoNation is ready for your service if you have any issues with David McDavid Frisco.

Starting off, I just moved here from California and I knew I was going to be in need of a car. I had my eyes on the civic ever since I knew I was going to move and kept contact with Camden Chumbley. For a long time we talked back and forth about the process of purchasing a Honda Civic EX. I was able to arrive to the Honda and he gave us a tour around and let me test drive the car. He was very understanding about finances due to the pandemic and helped me look through every option BEST for me. Even while unemployed he mentioned to me that Honda always has jobs open if I was truly interested. His actions say it all, he cares for you as a customer and as a person. He was very patient with me and was very humble. He s not like your average salesperson, I have met many pushy and overwhelming who left me in uncomfortable situations. Talking to Camden is like talking to a good friend, he sets up an amazing calm environment for you and gives you the time you need. I was not able to purchase the car due to my own financial situation, and Camden understood that. Any time you visit this location, please please please ask for him. He will give you the best experience possible. If I ever return to the market I will most definitely be going back to him again. Thanks for all you have done Camden!

All I can guy is go in and ask for CARL SCOTT. If you want a salesman who cares and is genuine towards you and isn't there to just make a sale to collect his commission, he is your guy. He will literally work with you if you have good, bad, or no credit he will find a car that you are satisfied with. The man will take care of you no matter the situation. Best car buying experience EVER!

I advised my personal salesman and his manager my situation and voila! Everything was worked by the time I went the next morning. I would recommend David McDavid Honda of Frisco.

The service is great!! Mike Hood(Service Advisor) is SUPER, he is always there to answer any questions I have and explains what needs to be done in the near future. The dealership is always clean and neat, and the other staff members are very helpful.
Keep up the GREAT work and McDavid Honda will be the place I go when I need service or a new car

Honda in Frisco looks AMAZING after this refresh! Staff was super helpful. I had Calvin Jones as my service person and he was great. Came to inform me of stuff they had identified and was able to tell me if there was any cost associated. Lucky I did the maintenance plan they have bc it didn t cost me anything. (Absolutely worth it) He even ran my car through the wash again bc he felt like it wasn t clean enough. Like I said amazing!

My daughter and I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from this dealer recently, and the car is fine, however the experience was very poor, and I will never go back. I know I could have walked away at any time, but she wanted the car and it was priced well.
First of all, I was placing a good amount down and had my own financing for the remainder. Despite this, I was asked by the sales person to fill out "just the first five lines" of a credit application. Everything on these lines was on my drivers license which they had made a copy of and on the offer form with one notable exception, my social security number. I absolutely refused to provide it as they have no need for it. We went back and forth with her stating the five lines were required for "identity proof", which is pure nonsense. I know they were going to send me to finance and wanted that to run a soft check behind my back (or worse, an unauthorized hard check). After back and forth, with her seeing her manager, they relented on this.
We were then sent to the finance person, Tammy Chan. This experience alone prompted me to write this review and score this place the way I have. She was rude at best. I immediately told her I was putting down "X" and that I had my own financing for the remainder. She responded that she could get me a better rate then what I had. I asked to tell me exactly what that was and she asked if my credit score was above 800, and I told her it was. She gave me a rate, throwing in "if your score is above 800" in a tone that insinuated it was not, but then told me if I would purchase an extended warranty for $2500 she could get me an even lower rate. She was very condescending and when I told her I understood finance and the savings in interest did not come close to paying the $2500, PLUS the car I bought still had 3 years and 15,000 miles on the bumper to bumper, she got visibly upset and told me I was wrong on the warranty. Then she pulled out a book and looked it up. I was correct. After she finally got it through her head I was not buying a warranty that was about 20% of the cost of the car, she never brought up the original rate she quoted me and finished the deal. She was curt and rude. I'll never go back and encourage others to stay away as well.

This is definitely not good place to buy a car. i got a 2017 car at 2018 without any notification or pre-informations.
i was purchased my Honda Pilot on Feb 12 2018 and i signed all papers in the same day evening and i got my car next day Feb 13 2018. i paid all other extra feature parts and completed all doc with American Honda Financial with 5% interest for 60 months installment. Finally i saw my number plate it was 2017 year car. it was very surprise for me and no one in the sales team or manager didn't explained to me it was a 2017 car. i signed all doc and completed Everything. i felt David McDavid Honda cheated me. i am not recommending to anyone to this locations

We purchased our 2014 Odessy at David McDavid Honda of Frisco. The whole buying experienced is very easy. Mr. Luis Alvarez helped us and guided us throughout the whole process. He was there from beginning to end and never left us eventhough it is already late and time for him to go home. We never felt being pressured at all. He is very patient with us and answered all our questions and concerns and was never pressured to sign any paper work on the same day. He is very accomodating and a very well-mannered person. We actually considered him as our sales consultant and not a sales person. His advised and guidanced assured us that we made the right decission... and driving home our new Odessy very happy. I will definitely recommend him to my friends.

Bryan Flegel is an awesome car salesman and just a great human being in general. He really cares and fights hard for his customers. Because of him I was able to get the exact car I wanted and that wouldn't have been possible if he wasn t helping me. When he sold me the car I still had my rental car and he followed me all the way to the airport and helped me drop it off, so that saved me a $50 Uber atleast. I never felt pressured into buying anything and he was always great with any question I had and knew all the answers. If I ever know someone who is looking for a car I will recommend them to Bryan Flegal. Thank you Bryan

My experience with David McDavid Honda in Frisco was as easy and seamless as could be. My salesman, Ed Nogar, and finance advisor, Kenneth Wynn, were terrific. Ed had the car I was looking at pulled up when I arrived and it was exactly what I was looking for at the price I was happy with, he made it real easy...I didn't have extravagant demands and I didn't feel taken advantage of in any way. It's great to have a new car again and this being my 3rd Civic I'm sure it will be as reliable as previous ones...Looks great too!!

If you want to waste your time, go there! We spent about 4 hours on a Wednesday here to just see 2 Hondas!! They first waste a lot of time to have you see someone, then when they make sure that you want to see a car, they will start to clean it and you must just seat there and wait for the car to be cleaned!!! If you request to see another car, after the first one is done, they will start working on the second one!!!! Never ever will back there!!!

I had heard so many outstanding report from my friends and business associates about David McDavid Honda and Lou Brockman, the salesman to whom i was referred and quite frankly I did not believe anyone one was that good. I had met Lou in a business setting and told him that at some point I would be interested. Lou took my phone number and an approximate date to call. And sure enough he did and i said i was not ready...he was extremely polite and asked when would be a good time to get back with me and each time he did.......absolutely No Pressure as I still was just not ready. Then one day my car over heated and the rest is History.

I had spoken with a salesman from another auto dealership who was the mfg of the the car I was driving and frankly the guy drove me crazy calling .....he always had a new tip for me. I got none of that from Lou Brockman nor any of the staff at David McDavid..........but i walked in ready to do battle with my defenses up because i had seen so many of the other Dealership tricks ....to my great surprise these people we soon nice, so low key and helpful and it was one of the more positive buying experiences I have ever had. Truly I can say it was friendly service with a smile not only from Lou Brockman but all of the staff.....I think these people really enjoy coming to work at David McDavid Honda. Soon we will be purchasing our second car from them.

We had a baby girl in September of last year and had been considering getting a minivan, since we already have two growing boys. Our Ford Explorer just didn't have the space required for our family. We had always been interested in a Honda Odyssey and began the search process. We looked at all minivan possibilities Toyota Sienna, Chrysler Pacifica and Kia Sedona.

The Honda Odyssey was and always has been our first choice, because of the consistent reliability Honda vehicle are known for. We requested information via the USAA car buying service and were connected with James Brown in Sales at McDavid Honda in Frisco.

I came in on this past Saturday evening (27 APR) and worked out a deal with James. I can't say enough how much I appreciated James during this process. James really went to bat for us and got us in a 2019 Odyssey ex-l in the beautiful Obsidian Pearl Blue we wanted for the payment we wanted. James had a prior engagement with his wife he needed to get to and handed us off to Youniss, to finalize everything, who was equally as attentive and accommodating. Youniss took the time to show my wife some of the many great features of the Odyssey. Again, thank you James and Youniss for treating us so greatly. I definitely recommend McDavid Honda in Frisco if you're in the market for a new vehicle.

When I brought my car there to replace the brake lamp, they said it would be $19. When I saw the actual invoice, it was $139.50 just for the parts. I realized this later and sent a message to them from my mobile, and then from their website. But it's been a week and no reply. If $19 was a mistake, that's fine, but I don't understand why they don't reply to my question. I even chatted with them through their website, and the operator promised to convey my message to the service depatment. I've been a customer there over 6 years but now getting frustrated every time I go there.

Thank you so much to Kelvin Jones, Service Drive Manager at David McDavid Honda of Frisco for helping me and my husband. Our tire had a blowout, a stone s throw from David McDavid Honda of Frisco. We managed to get to the service area driveway, but it had already closed. My husband (a 74 year disabled Vietnam War Vet) began changing the tire. The temperature was in the 90 s and we only had a little jack - the one that came with the car. It would have taken my husband a long time, in the heat to change the tire. Other people walked by and didn t offer any help. Kelvin Jones offered help. He came over to us with a more powerful jack and he changed the tire for us. He went above and beyond and was a real hero and absolutely refused any monetary compensation. A true act of kindness. He is an asset to David McDavid Honda of Frisco!!!!

We will bring our Honda to David McDavid Honda of Frisco for service in the future and will recommend it to our friends.

All the technicians are professional and polite, but Mike goes that extra mile and really makes you feel that you are an important customer.

I had the most amazing experience with Carl Scott he was very informative and understanding of the nature of our entire purchase and extremely professional. Do not buy a used care from them. I had two flat tires within a month and now the AC is acting up. Go to another place if you want to be treated well.

Went in for an oil change on my CRV. I was advised to do a power steering flush as well, which I did. A week later my power steering locks. Checking the fluid, it is quite empty and the high pressure hose from the power steering system is leaking. I had to top it up with a full 12 oz. bottle just to get back on the road. Next day I take it to McDavid Frisco, the technician gives me a quote for 400 USD to get it fixed. Coincidences happen and parts do wear out, but I do not want to take my chances anymore with this dealer...(My car was always service at McDavid, since brand new, until today..)

David McDavid Honda of Frisco is a dishonest bait-and-switch dealership. Don t trust any ad you see in papers, direct mailings or e-mails coming from this dealership the dealership has no intention to sell a vehicle to you at the advertised price. All these promo prices are only intended to draw you into their car lot.
I got a direct e-mail from Adam Rutledge with a decent price for Odyssey. I called him to confirm that I can indeed buy the car at the advertised price and there will be no add-ons and he confirmed that he has vehicles in stock at that price. He even set up the appointment for 1:45pm so that the car will be ready when I come in. To make a long story short, I drove 45 minutes one way to the dealership, I never met Adam, I had to wait over 1 hour for someone to show me the vehicle, and then this other salesman tried to add close to $2,000 worth of useless accessories to the advertised price. Classic bait-and-switch! They never disputed the fact they don t have a car to sell at the advertised price. Their argument was based on two excuses: a) that all the cars in their dealership get these accessories (which means that Adam was dishonest about no add-ons), and b) the advertised price + $2,000 is still the best price anywhere.
As far as the folks working at David McDavid Honda of Frisco are concerned, they are super-nice. They are probably one of the nicest people I have ever met at any car dealership: very polite, extremely professional, and always trying to make you comfortable. But make no mistake they will try to rip you off royally with the most wonderful smile on their face, and they will make you believe that you are still getting a deal of a lifetime.

Had an appointment for buying a car. Went there, expecting professionalism. But right from the reception to the sales guys we spoke to, it was everything other than professionalism. We were not decided which car to buy (new/used) or how much we wanted to spend. The sales representatives had no idea how to help us or probably they were too lazy to give us options. They were rude, as plain as that. I have been visiting quiet a few car dealerships in the last week. And this ranks the worst experience. Not just in last week and car dealerships, this would probably go down as one of the worst customer experience all around. First we met a Mohammad Masud in used car sales. He was being over smart and kept looking/judging by my flip flops. Then he asked for a rough budget we had in mind (it was the idiotic way he asked which ticked me off), when he heard an estimated budget, he hastily brought us to the new car sales. We waited there for at least 15 mins. No one, came and spoke to us. No one even bothered to ask what we need. Instead of asking your customers, what they are interested to buy. I think these guys should ask themselves, are they really interested in selling?? In new car sales, we met Sam, probably the worst they have. He acted like a big shot. And it took me just 2 mins talking to him to decide, I m never buying anything here. I just said thanks and left. Thank god, I did not buy anything here. Will put my money somewhere else, which would probably pay salaries to deserving people. Never ever McDavid and definitely not Honda. I work closely in Automotive industry. I'm sure to spread the word on every platform and even write to Honda of this shabby experience.

Update 05/04 - The Internet manager says, he's extremely sorry and would like to help me, but since sales are peak on Weekends he would like to talk on Monday. LOL moment. He's interested in fleecing other customers rather than talking to me

Farid was very nice & helped make us feel comfortable the whole time! He showed great patience and never made us feel pressured/overwhelmed. Only reason I didn t give 4 stars was because I was told my car had two keys, but one of the keys was just a valet key - we felt very frustrated at that trick.

The service was fast and the communication was prompt. The agent, Mike Myers, was professional and gave a great service. He was also understanding on the situation and practiced safe practices (in regards to Covid 19).

Eric Battle, the finance guy, when above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied with the vehicle, terms and warranty while adding a common touch with great personality and humor. We decided to look for a new vehicle and started at David McDavid Honda of Frisco. Was met on the lot by Wing Tip, a sales consultant. He listened and asked what we looking for. He left and showed up with the car we described. He was very helpful without any pressure. Then a lady showed us the additional options, again good information but no pressure. The finance consultant was great explaining and showing us everything. When we were ready to leave with our new CRV, Wing had the car polished and ready to go. He then went through all the functions that came on our car. This was a great demonstration of customer service. Thanks guys for the great job.

I was going to give two starts because the sales department staff is just ok but the finance department is terrible, so I had to drop this down to one star! I ve never met such an unreliable, unresponsive group of lazy people in my life. It s like they have a competition of not it going on! Who s not going to answer the phone, who s not going to acknowledge or help a customer, who s not going to return phone calls or emails...yep they all take first in the worst employee ever competition! And if you dare to show up in person, even with a prescheduled appointment be prepared to wait, and wait and wait! I would suggest finding somewhere else to make your high dollar purchases, they sure act like they don t need or want your business!

We took EX-L Odyssey vehicle, the sales person was trying to charge for the features that are standard on the model. Also they delivered van without entertainment installed on it, next day the sales person trying to charge again entertainment system to install, which was included in EXL Model when they gave the tour. Sales person Angel does not have ethics.

David McDavid went above and beyond when they discovered a mistake they had made in a repair quote. They more than made up for the difference in price with the next visit. Waiting room is remodeled to allow COVID-19 spacing. Everyone was wearing mask to protect everyone.

I can't say enough good things about this dealership.

Sakib is awesome. Never had such an amazing experience before as I had with him. He was friendly, professional, and had complete knowledge about the car. The entire experience made me feel treated well, and completely informed of all my choices when it comes to purchasing a car. I would highly recommend asking for him personally when you are there for your car purchase :)

I want to start off by saying that this review doe...

I want to start off by saying that this review does not reflect the service I received from the Service guy specifically. He was very nice and helpful and I enjoyed working with him. He told me that they were experiencing challenges with their computers which slowed down them being able to get information from Parts. I still feel 1.5 hours is a long time to wait to find out that the key that I came in to replace may need to be ordered. When I made the appointment online I wrote that I was coming in because I lost the remote to my car. You already know what kind of car it is, that information is included when you make the appointment, so why is no one checking to see if the part is available upon my arrival, or even in advance, although I understand that kind of proactive service is a lot to ask for these days. By the time it's all said and done I would have been here 2 hours for a key replacement. Mind boggling. Of course, I received a text with all the other "service recommendations" they have for my car - totaling over $2000. I highly suspect these last 1.5 hours were spent looking at my car and trying to figure out how to suck more money out of me instead of focusing on what I came in for. This is why I get service at Christian Brothers. I only came here because CB couldn't replace the key.

I have to admit, I've never owned a Honda of any model. I was under the impression that they are too expensive and will not negotiate with their pricong. I was proven wrong. The great team of Bailey, Bob, and Davood provided, hands down, the best car buying experience of my life. They actually made it fun to spend that kind of money on their product. I can not believe the quick, no-hassle, professional and courteous experience my wife and I had. Go see the great folks at David McDavid Honda Of Frisco and be pleased with the car buying experience again.

Not much to say... we made it very easy for them. We had already picked out the vehicle we wanted before entering the lot. The salesman didn't seem particularly interested in the sale because it was a used car and he usually does new cars. Very happy with the purchase so far. The salesman has kind of been dismissive since the purchase of the vehicle, but nothing too noteworthy. All around a good experience.

I actually did not buy a Honda. I was interested in another make, but wanted to test drive the Honda as a backup. Although I did not purchase from here, I had to write a review on the wonderful experience I had. I highly recommend meeting with Chris Tines. He thoroughly and quickly answered all questions I had, as I did not have much time at the dealership. He did not waste any of my time, which was highly appreciated. The level of professionalism and courtesy was unmatched anywhere else (even the dealership that I purchased from). And no one was ever pushy with me! If I ever decide to buy a Honda, it WILL be from David McDavid Honda of Frisco. Kudos to Chris! Thank you!

We were not going to write a review, but since we were emailed and asked to, we will. So far we have been happy with the CR-V we purchased. It seems to be a fine vehicle. However, we have a couple of complaints concerning the buying experience.
1. We purchased an extended warranty, but were only given the first page of a ten-page contract. We had to contact the dealership to get the other pages sent to us.
2. We were offered a pretty low trade-in amount for our Cadillac SRX, with the salesperson saying it would only be able to be listed for around $17,000. Before the weekend was over it was on the McDavid website listed for $19,995.

I had a terrible experience with "Matt kail"in service manager he lied and yelled at me on the phone so I 've tried to contact general manager about this issue But nobody contact us. I promise that person on their internet sales department will reply under my review starts with "sorry for your bad experience please contact us blah blah" Why don't you take my call first?
